Just watched Matilda the musical and then watched the original Matilda movie, and now I'm thinking about a DP/DC au based off of Matilda...

Danny gets de-aged, and his mind is a combination of what it was before and the mind of a toddler. He also somehow ended up in Gotham. He doesn't have parents to put him in school, so he reads books at the library every day. Barbara pays attention, obviously. Maybe Danny gets picked up by abusive adoptive parents, or maybe Vlad found him and took him in, but he starts going to school where one of the batkids is teaching. (I believe in Dick being a kindergarten teacher instead of a cop supremacy, but I feel like Danny would get along really well with Jason in this au.) Teacher/batkid finds out Danny's being abused, batfam takes legal action, and Danny gets adopted by his teacher, or his teacher's dad, or one of his teacher's siblings. (Danny still being afraid of Nightwing because electricity. He's also scared of lightning for the same reason.)

Jazz and Ellie are somewhere else in the world, very worried because they haven't heard from Danny in a while and don't know what's going on.

and because she's a healer... and because I like to HC her as having a darker side, not like an emo side but like

she's the deaconess of the church, vision wielder and former 2nd child of the Gunnhilder clan (idk how to spell it ok??)

Even if a Deacon doesn't really have high political power in a church, bc of her idol status and the adoration and respect the citizens of Mond has for Barbara, even the nuns and because her father is in a high rank in the church(a cardinal if i remember) i think she can sway some opinions to a certain direction :] especially because Mond seems to be a tad more religious than the nations we've seen so far and whatever the church does is usually regarded by the people

So if Diluc needs a few opinions swayed... He may ask Barbara to do so

I pretty much don't like the fact Barbara is a damsel in distress type, sure it may be to juxtaposition her and Jean but still. It doesn't really give much flavor and such, Like both sisters are kind hearted people in diff directions and because Jean stands for justice and fairness Barbara should also even slightly juxtapose that too via being able to sway the opinions of the people which doesn't really seem 'Fair'

And she would do that swaying out of good intention, she's kind yes but she should know when something is about to go too far.

So Anti-Hero Barbara anyone???

Also... Noone can point fingers at her for swaying opinions, the citizens of Mond love her and such so like, If the Fatui tries to point fingers at Barbara their reputation will go way down down down, because 'that's the innocent and kind Deaconess of the Church of Favonius! She can do no wrong!'

also DPS Barbara supremacy, she also keeps up with Diluc's old workout and can handle it a bit better than the other 3 because healer and water, free cool off!!! Diluc shall now train her to be DPS 😌

She should also teach Diluc and Bennett how to heal more effectively, Bennett for his injuries and Diluc also more his injuries, he may use his new healing abilities for elongating Torture tho... but Barbs probably doesn't mind!!!

Barbara protection Squad... Either of the 3 Bennett, Fischl, Razor, even Diluc would walk her home or in Diluc's case let her stay at the Winery occasionally to let her escape Albert

Fuck Albert, hope that fucker dies. Hope Diluc kills or tortures him, or even let Barbara do it herself(Probably not tho, but maybe she would Heal Albert to make the torture longer idk)

So do think Barbara is a lot deeper than people give her credit. I think she wants to be her own person. I think she lives in the shadow of the church and in the shadow and Jean. And being an Idol let her be free of that.

But at the same time, she puts it on the mask of someone she thinks is more likable.

So I feel she really has some identity issues. And honestly again Diluc is the best person to help him. Because on that day Diluc had his whole world fall apart and his whole identity fell apart.

And he was able to find himself again. And he could help her. Really discover who is she and who she wants to be.

And Diluc would totally protect her and so would the other kids.

Mains

To celebrate finally getting AR 60 after 2 or so years, I'm back with pixelated character splash art.

I miss maining Beidou. I immediately fell in love with her E and when I learned to counterattack I had so much fun. When she was no longer my Main DPS (Ayato replaced her) she was my shield and sub dps but then came Zhongli and his shield ruined my counterattack timing a bit.

I want to see Lyney and Lynette as a one duo in playable. Lowkey want them to be like that just cuz but also less primogem grinding.

Nahida is just not properly built and I'm too lazy to collect materials but she is my Dendro main... sort of.

Anemo supremacy and I have been Kazuha main ever since I understood the idea of building and gacha banners. I use him a lot and for me to not call him my favourite main feels wrong.

Ayato has pretty good artifacts and the one of the two that has a 5 star weapon. Wanderer has the other but he needs better artifacts. (No signature weapons tho.) I also really like his moves anyway and that was why I built him in the first place.

First team that I seriously used just cuz and I'm lowkey feeling nostalgic: Beidou, Amber/Barbara, Xingqiu, Anemo Traveler

I don't own the template. I took it somewhere in HoyoLab.

haikyuu!! as genshin impact players

a/n: currently obsessed with genshin impact so i decided to merge it with my love for haikyuu!! this was honestly so much fun to write and i hope you guys like it !!

Hinata: he’s the one who always asks for help in the group chat when fighting bosses as well as the dragonspine quests. super thankful when you help him but you just have to be patient with him jumping and accidentally pressing ‘attack’ when gliding’

Kageyama: honestly thought that collecting all the anemoculi was the first objective so he went out and found EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM. loves to flex his stamina at hinata by jumping up cliffs

Tsukishima: RIP most of his characters are hydro users so he has to visit the oceanid twice every day all like 'hey, fucker. it's me again'. someone please give him fischl. hides the fact that he failed the gliding exams about twenty times

Yamaguchi: wanted xiao so bad he made 150 pcs. of almond tofu and a summoning circle in his room before wishing for him on top of wangshu inn. cried tears of joy when he got him 

Ennoshita: super intellectual player. takes the time to calculate the stats on weapons, artifacts, and talents before enhancing them. likes using archers to spam long-distance attacks

Tanaka: in it for the WAIFUS. wants mihoyo to add a trade character feature so that he could trade his male characters and have an army of waifus. currently saving up primogems for hu tao

Noya: BENNET MAIN !! ceo of bennett supremacy basically and loves watching his ‘bouken da bouken!’ idle animation. adamantly believes that he should be a five-star character

Daichi: wasn’t that invested in playing until he got albedo as his first five-star character because he loves the guy so much. loves bringing him when he does co-op and when the other player thanks him for the ‘albedovators’ 

Sugawara: klee main because he loves how chaotic she is. like, he’ll literally use her to kill fish in the springvale lake and timmie’s birds. he’ll use his elemental burst for destroying the training dummies for ellin’s commission

Asahi: even though he has five-star characters, he still likes using the starter team because they feel like his family. explicitly uses amber and kaeya a lot just to prove the haters wrong

Oikawa: venti main because he relates to him on a spiritual level and actually cried during his story quest. also emotionally invested in the NPC quests and actually felt bad about not finding joel’s dad

Iwaizumi: has the WORST luck when it comes to gacha rolls. always gets a five-star on like, roll 80 and when he does, he always gets the non-banner one first. doesn’t know the diff between crit rate and crit damage and is too afraid to ask at this point

Hanamaki: fucking kills timmie's birds for FUN. also does livestreams of him walking from mondstadt to liyue or farming as many pieces of meat he can in a day (the most was 1126). calls the primo geovishap ‘rock daddy’ 

Matsukawa: believes in traveler supremacy and invests in leveling them up, no matter what anyone says about them being a support. ‘y’all are going to wish you leveled them up when traveler becomes the avatar’ he says

Ushijima: very much an explorer kind of guy and takes the time to forage everything he sees. also cooks a lot and has 288 sweet madame even though he doesn't really need it

Tendou: actually enjoys being in dragonspine because he likes the thrill of freezing to death and the aesthetics. farms so much frozen meat because he can. lets ushijima co-op in his world to farm stuff

Semi: used up his fragile resin early in the game and now that he's at ar40 he has Regrets. yells a lot when he plays but that’s whenever he accidentally presses ‘climb’ instead of attack

Shirabu: someone told him that sucrose shouldn't be used as a main and now he's doing that out of spite. actually likes his team comps to be full of supports for the #supportsupremacy

Goshiki: he has such a hard time with boss fights but he's too proud to ask for help. knowing that, his senpais just show up in his world and ask if they could farm there to help him out

Kuroo: collects husbandos and co-op's in other players' worlds while role-playing as that husbando. he's gotten very popular because of this and is known as ‘the legendary co-op player’ 

Kenma: an amazing player, as you’d expect. he got to ar40 in probs two weeks and started livestreaming his plays. an absolute king at clearing abyss levels and showing off those satisfying elemental reactions

Yaku: WHAAAAAALE. you can tell by the fact that he always has the battle pass weapons and so many primogems. definitely a collector who tries to get all playable characters 

Lev: very chaotic player and accidentally walked all the way to liyue at ar10 while running away and dodging monsters. SOMEHOW managed to defeat boss childe without revival materials and by spamming noelle

Bokuto: has the best luck in gacha rolls, opposite to iwaizumi. he showed akaashi a pic of his first 10-wish roll (feat. qiqi, mona, and fischl) and was all ‘is this a good roll?’ 

Akaashi: great at building characters so he shares his knowledge by making videos on optimal character builds and team comps. explains things super well and everyone loves watching his stuff

Atsumu: likes to turn up the volume on his headphones and making lisa climb a really high cliff if you know what i mean. also desperately tried to roll for ganyu and spent all his primogems but got diluc instead 

Osamu: likes to spam genshin fan pages with dumb theories like ‘joel’s dad is the missing cryo yaksha’ or ‘madame ping is going to be on the next character banner.’ has a soft spot for barbara though

Suna: he’s often falling off cliffs trying to farm violetgrass but he does it out of love for qiqi. shows off himself using qiqi as main dps when someone says she’s just a support because he can

Kita: his signature literally says ‘come to my world if you want to farm’. his map is full of landmarks for ascension materials and will even help you find them. in charge of bringing a healer when you guys fight bosses

Sakusa: loves doing photoshoots with his characters, especially capturing stills of their elemental bursts. his fave character is ningguang because of beautiful and photogenic she is (even has the yellow seelie to match her)

Kaeya & Rosaria Build Guide

I was asked by @theravencawsatmidnight to do a Rosaria guide and I’m happy to do so! This will also double as a Kaeya guide because I was planning to do him next and aside from their weapon choices these two characters are very similar gameplay wise.

If you love this cryo OTP then hopefully this post will be of use to you!

Role

Kaeya and Rosaria are both great options for DPS main carry roles as well as Sub DPS. Rosaria is technically a tad bit better at DPS but both of them function the same way. They can do physical DPS with superconduct support or go full Cryo if paired with Chongyun. Both characters are also fantastic burst support options and can do off-field damage with their bursts.

Talents

As DPS prioritize their Normal Attacks first, then their Bursts and save their skills for last. As supports focus on their Bursts and save normal attacks for last.

Kaeya’s talents level up with Books of Ballad, Treasure Hunter Insignias, and at high level Spirit Locket of Boreas. (Wolf buttplug)

Rosaria also uses Books of Ballad as well as Fatui Insignias, and Shadow of the Warrior (Childe’s buttplug.)

As DPS take them to Lv 90. Lv 70 is more than enough for support

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - Blackcliff Longsword; Black Sword; Prototype Rancour; Flute; Festering Desire; Favonius Sword

Summit Shaper is BiS for Cryo DPS while Aquila Favonia is BiS for physical. The Blackcliff is the best 4⭐️ due to its Crit damage sub stat and works for both roles.

Skyward Blade is BiS for burst support with Festering Desire and Favonius Sword being good 4⭐️ options.

Primordial Jade Winged Spear is BiS for both Cryo and Physical DPS. The Blackcliff and Deathmatch are good 4⭐️ options. Crescent Pike can be used only with physical build. Litchic Spear is really good but only if she’s paired with 3 Liyue characters. Favonius Lance can be used for support if you don’t have blackcliff or Deathmatch.

Overview - Cryo DPS

(4pc) Blizzard Strayer; (2pc) BS, (2pc) Gladiator; (4pc) Gladiator

Kaeya and Rosaria both make fantastic use of 4pc Blizzard Strayer set, especially when paired with Chongyun.

The beautiful thing about these two characters and this artifact set is you basically get 60-75% Crit Rate for free, meaning you don’t need to worry about it in your build.

Overview - Physical DPS

(4pc) Pale Flame; (2pc) Pale Flame, (2pc) Bloodstained, (2pc) Gladiator; (4pc) Gladiator

As physical DPS (not paired with Chongyun) Pale Flame is the most consistent option since both Kaeya and Rosaria have no trouble maintaining stacks for the 4pc passive.

Timepiece: Atk%

Goblet: Cryo Dmg Bonus / Physical Dmg Bonus

Circlet: Crit Rate / Crit Dmg

*if running 4pc BS there’s no need for extra Crit Rate

(4pc) Noblesse Oblige; (2pc) BS, (2pc) Noblesse

For sub DPS the standard Noblesse oblige set is best. If you already have a 4pc user in your team then mix it with 2pc Blizzard Strayer for the extra Cryo Dmg.

Team Comp

Kaeya and Rosaria have multiple options due to their versatility. Chongyun is without a doubt their best partner since he enables full Cryo build. If you have Chongyun definitely pair him with either of these two. Xingqiu is also a fantastic option.

For physical DPS you pretty much just need an Electro character for superconduct, or Zhongli for his physical resistance shredding.

As supports Rosaria and Kaeya pair well with physical and elemental DPS. There’s truly so much you can do with these two.

TLDR

Kaeya and Rosaria are both very f2p friendly characters that can preform a variety of roles in a team. They are very similar gameplay wise and can be built the same. If you have Chongyun they can be used as Cryo DPS but otherwise preform great as physical DPS. 4pc BS artifact set is phenomenal because their kits paired with it provide free crit rate. They can fit into a variety of team comps due to their versatility.

So I wish I knew that you virtually never really have to roll on standard wishes when you roll for characters. I wasted like 20 whole wishes on that banner and HUAHSAHD ALL THOSE PRIMOS GONE

And, new character banners are gonna look flashy and all, and 5 star characters are neat but as long as you have pretty much every element character you're fine.

However if there's someone ahead of time that you really want (you can see on Genshin twitter official or search genshin livestream, I really want Kazuha) THEN YOU BETTER SAVE RIGHT NOW LIKE RIGHT NOW BECAUSE THE PITY RATE FOR THE CHARACTER ON THE BANNER IS 160 WISHES.

Gacha aside, remember to level up your:

1. characters

2. character talents

3. character's artifacts

4. weapons

as much as you can. BUT CHOOSE ONES THAT SUIT THEM WELL TOO THOUGH KSJDFJF

also there's a really neat app called GenshinDB that gives you details for character builds! But if there's a build for a role that you want(ex. healing, main dps, sub dps) then search up on youtube.

And finally, I know I said a lot about the gacha, but... in the end, enjoy playing the game's storyline and even the side quests and don't skip through them like I did... it's a game and you're supposed to have fun :)
