technically i'm sure there were more heroes who started their superhero careers during COIE (like I know Yolanda puts on the wildcat suit soon), and probably during infinite crisis, but I only had 4 hands :P

Trust me my friend, when Jay Garrick says the fight is done, he knows what he's talking about.

I always think about the period of time in the comics when people mistook Red Robin for Dr Mid-nite

Of course, given that Rick designs Beth's costume (which actually looks good), I'm going to have to say Rick just doesn't know what looks good clothes-wise if someone else picks it out he's fine
Infinity Inc #22
anyway @the-constellation-collective said Rick had apalling fashion taste and you are right! When Beth is there helping his drawings along he can make a good superhero costume :P

Dr. Midnite is an alchemist who, while experimenting with an unusual mineral, created a chemical vapor that transported him to the 21st century. His amazing abilities as an alchemist to develop powders, potions, and gases give him formidable powers. Unfortunately without the mineral he left behind in his home century he is unable to time travel again.

In your opinion, does Dr. Midnight only have value as a member of the JSA? I would personally be interested in seeing him show up as a supporting character in Bat and/or Arrow family books, myself. What do you think?
I can see him more or less as the DCU’s heroes’ go to Doctor so he should frankly have more widespread appearances across all books than just the JSA, even far more so than Batman to be frank lol
