Multiverse of Madness but for the post credit scene instead of Xena finding Dr. Strange it was Wanda returning to Westview covered in dust, rubble, and blood to wake Agatha out of Agnes. Agnes was drinking lemonade and being in general so pleasant, but then Wanda release her and Agatha went: “ohh feck that” and she starts cursing Wanda out

All Too Well
Bucky Barnes x f!reader
Masterlist
Part One / Part Three
Warnings: Spider-Man nwh spoilers, slight Dr Strange MoM spoilers, angst, pining
Peter paused in the doorway of his small apartment, backpack swinging off one shoulder. He knew it was you, knew from the back of your head. He didn’t need to see anything else to know.
What he didn’t know was how you found him, how you even knew to find him. You shouldn’t remember. You should have forgotten just like everyone else. He hesitated before shutting the door. You turned to look at him with a gentle smile. That same smile you always gave him. You had worried about him constantly, always afraid he’d been too young for the world he had been thrust into.
“Hey Spidey.” He dropped his backpack when you stood, making your way around the sofa to stand a few steps away. He was still afraid this was a trick, a delusion caused by his loneliness. “Pretty hard to track down.”
“Is that so?” He asked, his voice cracking with emotion. You opened your arms and he rocketed into them, hugging you tight enough that it would’ve hurt a normal person. You just held him. “How?”
“I’m not sure.” You told him honestly, rubbing his back soothingly. “I’m so sorry about May.”
It was all it took for Peter to let go. He sobbed against you and you held him through it all. You only moved to the sofa, urging him to sit and then holding him again. When he finally composed himself he pulled away, wiping under his eyes. “Everyone else forgot.”
“I know. I was so worried. I asked James to look after you. Check in and make sure you were doing okay. When I finally met up with him he didn’t know you.” You explained, pushing Peter’s hair back off his forehead. “I thought he was forgetting again.”
“Everyone had to forget. It was the only way.” Peter explained and your eyes narrowed. You wiped his tears, cupping his face in a way that reminded him of May.
“Sounds like Dr. Strange got involved there.” You spoke and Peter laughed because even without knowing you always knew. “You’ve been alone all this time?”
“There was no other way.” He explained and you nodded, hugging him tightly again. You rocked slowly from side to side and sighed against his hair.
“Has this got something to do with the Multi-verse?” You asked and he pulled away before laughing quietly again. You always knew.
“Yeah. Everything really.” He shrugged. “We made a mistake and the only way to fix it was for people to forget me. How did you know?”
“I met a guy. He was you except not really.” You explained and Peter nodded, wiping his eyes as he took deep breaths.
“Youth pastor or himbo?” Peter asked and you laughed at his very appropriate description.
“Youth pastor I imagine. He didn’t need the shooters. Made the webs himself.” You told him and Peter longed for his brothers. His smile fell again.
“Yeah, he was here for a little while. So was another Spiderman. Brought their villains too.” Peter explained. “One of them killed May.”
“I’m so sorry Peter.” You sighed heavily, taking his hand in yours. “You’ve been through so much and you did it all alone.”
“It’s been so hard.” He whispered quietly and you could feel your heart shatter. He pulled himself together, you could see him doing it. “How did you meet the other Peter?”
“I was exploring. I met the Illumanti too.” His shock made you smile. “Not as fun as I imagined.”
“Was Beyoncé there? Or Elon Musk?” He asked and you laughed, shaking your head. “Kanye West was though, right?”
“It wasn’t like our world’s conspiracies. It was a gathering of Superheroes.” You explained. “Dr. Strange founded them although he gave his life to defeat Thanos.”
“Not Tony?” Peter asked and you shook your head sadly. In that universe Tony had never been abducted and so had never moved on from making weapons or becoming Iron Man. He had been frighteningly like his father. “Who was there?”
“Captain Carter. Peggy took Steve’s mantle in that universe. Captain Marvel although it wasn’t Carol but her friend Maria. Professor X, Mr Fantastic and Black Bolt.” You explained each of them in turn, filling Peter’s need for knowledge. The book for his GED hadn’t escaped you and you imagined it was hard to get a degree when your school forgot you existed.
“You told Sergeant Barnes and Sam about me?” Peter asked and you shrugged. You hadn’t explained per say but you had definitely brought him up.
“I didn’t tell them anything about you. I just wanted to know if you were okay and they didn’t know what I was talking about.” You shrugged and Peter nodded. “You don’t want them to know?”
“I don’t think it’s a good idea. Because of what happened last time.” He explained and you pursed your lips. “I don’t want you to have to keep secrets from Sergeant Barnes.”
“You can call him Bucky, you know.” You told him with a laugh. You stood for the sofa and moved to his kitchen area, frowning at the poor choice of food on offer. “You should eat better.”
“You don’t call him Bucky.” Peter evaded your berating. “You never have.”
“We have a long history. I knew him before he was in the army.” You told Peter who didn’t even look surprised. He knew you had been around for quite some time now. “We should go out and eat.”
///
Finding you again in another hole in the wall didn’t surprise Bucky. Finding you sitting with some kid, his hand held in yours did. He was eating with one hand like he’d never see food again while you talked to him quietly, asking him questions about how he’d been.
Bucky stopped in the doorway, watching you both carefully as you pushed his hair back before returning to holding his hand. Bucky couldn’t be sure but the kid looked barely eighteen.
When you looked up you caught his eye and smiled before saying something to the kid making him look up too. He finished his food in a rush, brushing a kiss across your cheek as he left.
He squeezed by Bucky in the door as you tidied his plates into a neat little stack and pushed them away to make room for Bucky. He took the space.
“That Peter?” He asked and you shrugged, shaking your head. “You find him?”
“Not yet.” You told him. Bucky looked you over again, watching the lies weigh you down. He let them go. Just as he always had. You never told him the truth, not really.
“Sam’s sister had been sorry to miss you.” Bucky told you instead and you smiled softly. You had been looking forward to meeting Sarah but Peter had needed you more.
“I guess I’ll have to go back and see her then.” You shrugged. Bucky sat back when a waitress approached, placing a coffee and a sandwich in front of Bucky. He didn’t ask, just sipped the coffee carefully. “How was the rest of your trip?”
“Quiet.” He offered before lifting the sandwich. “My favorite way to have things.”
“It’s rare. The quiet.” Bucky looked you over as he ate, answering your questions mindlessly. You were tired, he could tell. You didn’t get tired often.
“You staying with me?” He asked and you shrugged. “You got anywhere else?”
“My friend from earlier has a lumpy couch.” You told him and he shrugged again. “Yours is much more comfortable.”
“Like I’d let you sleep on the couch.” Bucky grunted. He finished his sandwich and sat back, sipping his coffee. He didn’t mention that he had never invited you to his apartment before. He knew you had found it in your search for him when you got back.
“Always the gentleman, James.” You cooed and he rolled his eyes. You had uttered the same words more times than he had count over the decades. You had always shown up in places you shouldn’t have been.
///
“Sleeping on the floor?” You asked and he shrugged. You observed the small nest with interested eyes. “Every night?”
“No.” He didn’t elaborate but you didn’t need him to. The nightmares were better but never gone. You knew that all too well. He led you to his bedroom and searched through his chest of drawers until he found a red Henley and a pair of sleep pants for you. “I’ll be in the kitchen.”
You changed and found him again, he had gotten changed too. His nest had moved to the sofa and you almost laughed. “You not gonna share with me soldier?”
“We still conserving body heat?” He asked, a wry smile on his lips. You shrugged and he only rolled his eyes. “Been a long time.”
“Not that long.” Bucky supposed that for you it hadn’t been. You had been busy since the night before you left. Bucky had too much time to think about it.
He found himself back in that same position of holding you close while his heart tried to put some distance between you both. It was unfair of you to show up and demand things stay the same no matter how much time passed between you both.
It didn’t mean he would refuse you. No, he thought as his arms tightened around you in your sleep, it wouldn’t change a damn thing.

Dr strange multiverse of madness spoilers!
Sorry guys its a week ago that i saw MOM and i have a terrible memory, so bear with me.
A bright blue star appeared in the horizon and America gave a sly smile against Wanda.
"Aha," she said.
With far too open eyes Wanda shook her head, "Mhm."
That foolish girl.
A smile, too unnatural appeared on her face.
America fairly new with her newfound powers punched with confidence. It gave much more power than she no both of them thought. Wanda's head snapped back, America punched again and gave a kick of good measure. The red (dyed) haired woman lost balance she stepped back, the sole of her feet lost touch with the rocky hard ground.
Stone crumbled beneath her feet and fell to the ground, the back of her body was met with a fiery landscape that was full with volcano's and lava. It was hot and if she stayed any longer she would be drenched in sweat. Wanda, pumped with adrenaline looked at the ground and suddenly she got her balance back. She looked through her eyelashes at America that shot a punch.
Wrong, a very wrong move.
Instead of letting herself get beat she stopped the punch from happening, red swirled around her hand. Her black fingers contrasted with her power. America's expression dropped from a triumphant look to a fearful one. Wanda gave a small smile of satisfaction in seeing her frightened, but the girl with the striped jacket didn't lose hope and she lunged one more at the witch.
"I'm going to give you what you want," she spat out.
Wanda's jaw flew backwards and she flared her nose in anger, she strechted out her arm and grabbed America's throat. America opened a portal again and the both of them found themselves in a decayed house.
The wallpapers were curling up and tearing apart, the wooden floor was damp from the draft that hung heavy in the air. If you turned your nose up, you already could smell that no one was here for a long time and we are not even talking about the heavy dust on the furniture.
The estatic buzzing of a broken television snapped Wanda out it, "What have you done?" she hissed to that little wrench.
A characteristic tingle erupted in Wanda's head.
Both of them were in colour, with the blue frame of the portal springing out of the black and white room. Wanda looked at her hands.
A soft gasp escaped her lips, she was back in her home.
Her green eyes teared up and her grasp on America's neck became lighter. A small but hopeful smile grazed on her face and America escaped from her grasp, clasping her hands around her heart she looked more into the room.
America sensing this was her only moment to escape, took it and stepped inside her portal, trapping Wanda in her home. She didn't notice, she had only eye for the room that she was in and ofcourse her husband who sat proudly in his chair.
"Vision," she said, hoping for something back. He looked so happy with the small smile on his face, probably because he saw Wanda again.
But he didn't said anything back.
"I-I know, you don't have to say anything back. But I'm just-I'm just so happy that we are reunited, again." She stepped towards him, slowly turning her head around taking the space up.
"Don't you?"
"Vision!" she snapped at him, her eyes wide open in fury.
There was the audience in her head again that gave pitiful mumbles.
His body slumped in the chair, he stared lifeless ahead, a regretful stutter came out of Wanda's mouth. "I didn't mean it, I didn't mean to snap like that. I will never hurt you, I'm your wife."
She cupped his head and enveloped him in a hug, "I'm your wife," she repeated. "And my job is to protect you, always, no matter what."
With the flick of her hand she turned on the radio, the soft notes floating in the air. "I think it's time for a dance, don't you?"
The red of her powers hugged the body of him and he floated out of the chair, only stopping mere centimeters before Wanda's face. She smiled again, only a bit to wide for anybody's liking. She put her left hand on his shoulder and 'Vision' put his arm on her back, she enclasped both of their hands and she gave a content humm.
She began slowly waltzing, the corpse leaning on her with his full weight but it didn't bother her. For a minute of two she was swaying on the rythm on the slow sound of the classical music lulling in the living room, but when the music became faster so did they.
She danced so wildly, she didn't even care that she knocked of some of the vases on the ground or the clay splinters in her feet.
She felt complete again, she finally has him back in her arms. The song had ended and she stroked his cheek, "I love you dear Vision," she hold him tightly for quite some time.
Wanda ploffed with a sense of grace on the couch with the Vision cradling against her, red swirled around his head to set it in the right place. The bash in his head was prominent now, but she didn't see it or she looked past it. Cocking her head to the side, her temple was on his. She gave a light kiss on his cold cheek before she looked away, right in the broken television with him, her husband.
All was well.

🪄thoughts on Dr Strange: Multiverse of Madness🪄 long post and will contain spoilers under the read more
Disclaimer: I enjoyed the movie but this somewhat review will contain some major criticisms.
When Martin Scorsese said MCU films aren’t real cinema, and the MCU fans consume films like one would enjoy a theme park. I don’t think he’s wrong but I don’t fully agree with him either, but, MoM is the best example (if there was any). I’m not sure how to properly put this into words. I’ll give it a few days to see if I can do this thought justice. But know that I genuinely think MoM is the best example for this opinion.
Goddamn that plot was MESSY. Three act structure whomst???? (Extremely derogatory). My film studies teacher would have destroyed that script, gave it a D- and a whole month to rework it because that’s how much time it would need. There’s a Lad Bible interview Cumberbatch and Olsen did. They were describing how often things would change, how the morning of the shoot they would get brand new info. It’s very evident in the pacing of the movie.
MoM would need a 6-episode show, with 45-60 whole minute per ep, to fully do justice to the characters. The lack of character development, or effective character development was a little sad. The pacing is my biggest issues with this movie because they’re just bringing in SO many things into one film when they cannot afford that rn
It’s basically a horror movie in a lot of ways. It was visually stunning and absolutely lovely in so many ways. The music!! (And that fight scene w the music ohmygod) I love it.
Spoilers here on out.
Dr Strange, sir, I’m sorry this wasn’t your movie. Literally so many things happened, I wish I got to see how you processed the snap and the “dust for 5 years” thing. I’m glad you gave us a better quote to express love I love you 3000 was kinda ????, (like a friend said, it’s superior). “I’d love you in any universe” was wonderful (and I might get the exact wording wrong, sue me, I’m still drunk)
WONG MY BELOVED. You deserve to be Sorcerer Supreme!! Ur amazing and can do no wrong. Beloved <3
America Chavez!! You’re super cool and I cannot wait to see the cool shit you do. But also, I’m going to acknowledge that they’re brining a new character without putting in the work? To me it seems like they introduced her with no personality and a tragic back story. Do MCU women have any real backstory other than “a tragic event thats entirely (female characters) fault or something they should feel shame/take blame for?”
Replacing Irondad-Spiderson with a Strange & Chavez, Father-Daughter relationship I see. It’s cute, fanfics will be fun. Can’t wait to block the inevitable ship name.
Christine, I’m glad that in every universe, you’re prioritising yourself and your sanity instead of dating a man too afraid to be vulnerable. Good for you, girl!!
WANDA. I have so many thoughts!! You might get your own post??? She’s so powerful, I love it. Even though I think it was a horrible way to show her power, watching her destroy the Illuminati was awesome. The whole bit where she used her Intelligence and the reflections was a 11/10 better way to show her formidable nature. I think there’s some major cognitive dissonance in her motives. If she knows that she can create her own world through sheer emotions, then why would she need to go to another universe??? If you’re telling me she feels guilt, and that’s why she won’t hurt the humans on earth-616, then how do you explain her being ok with taking away another Wanda’s babies for herself? Anyway. Thinking thoughts. Feel free to explain I guess? Idk.
The fucking Illuminati!!!!!!!!!! This is a whole thing bro
First of all, REED RICHARDS??? THEY KEPT KRASINSKI’S CASTING HIDDEN?? Alleged Tom Cruise was a fucking phenomenal distraction, I’m in AWE. Andrew Garfield could NEVER!!!! Everyone else on that cast list we had strong inklings but ufh Mr. Fantastic that was GG as fuck. (Also I think I read Tom Cruise and Haley Attwell were dating so maybe the whole Tom Cruise Ironman came from him visiting her on set? Idk)
Now to shit on it.
You’re telling me the smartest man in their universe, Who voted on killing their Strange for Dreamwalking the darkhold magic, didn’t anticipate Scarlet Witch’s power????? Even if he did anticipate it, why would you tell her about Black Bolt’s power!!! God that was DUMB. Good to see u Mr. Jim Kraskinski but you deserve to be noodle string cheesed. The fam service is great tho, and I really hope we see Kraskinski-Blunt and Evans in a new Fantastic 4 movie
CAPTAIN CARTER I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!!! Thank you for not bringing Steve into her narrative in any way what so ever. Thank you for the “I can do this all day” It’s lovely!!!! She’s Amazing and strong, but like I said killing her off was just meh move. I like that you did it that way? But idk,,, I want to see more of her so maybe Marvel will listen to their fans again and give us more!!!
Black Bolt, why did I think Ben Affleck played you?? You died in a super fucked up way and honestly, thank you for that. Your death was refreshing and will scar at least one (1) child, and idk if that’s a good thing but, parents definitely need to adhere to the movie ratings on this one.
PROFESSOR X!! I love you, I missed you, you were dressed like your husband (Mr. Magneto) when you died why was that??? I hate that Wanda killed you but I missed you. So much. I love you.
CAP MARVEL MARIA YOUR AWESOME but I wanna see more of you also if ur Cap then where Carol and did you still have a kid? What happened?? I wanna see more!!!!!!
Okay I think that’s mostly it. Closing notes, could do better, y’all threw character development out of the window. Randomly introducing new powers, characters and strengths is a little weak in terms of writing. Employee foreshadowing instead of expecting your fans to watch over 20 hours of content. It was good but you could do a lot better.
I will not watch it in the movies again, and I watch NWH like 3 times full priced tix.

Watched Dr strange MoM…
Spoilers under the cut
I think I’m in a love hate relationship with the movie, parts of it I really enjoyed but others not so much.
I feel like there was a lack in emotion, Wanda's character has always had a huge impact on me and her story is so sad, but I still think it wouldn't make sense for Wanda to become so dark so quick. Considering how apologetic and sad she was at the end of WandaVision, it doesn't really make sense to me that she would lose all care for other peoples lives so quick without any specific thing to break her again. I feel the same about Wanda's 'ending' as I do Steve's, both just don't really fit the character too well.
As for the rest of the movie, it was alright, just very different to anything else in Marvel so far.
I won't lie, kinda disapointed but it's bittersweet.
I guess I’m just a bit homesick for the old mcu

I just saw Multiverse of Madness and I’m gonna share my thoughts. Spoilers below the cut!
Dr strange is so sexy sorry not sorry like the hair and the beard really does it for me
America is so beautiful and I loved her. I hope we see more of her
When she asked if Spiderman shoots webs out of his butt and Strange didn’t have an answer
maybe this was just me but the CGI in the beginning was so bad. The green screens were so bad and the wire work was so obvious. It seemed like everyone was being pulled on strings
When I heard the WandaVision theme song I squealed
Speaking of vision why was he not mentioned more? She lost him too and didn’t seem as effected by it. He should’ve been there in the dreams
The Illuminati shook me to my core
I’ve never seen the office nor do I follow John krasinskis career but I gasped so loud when I saw him. I was so not expecting that
Captain marvel!!!!
Who was that guy with the fork on his head and who was the bald guy in the wheelchair 😅
Wanda really green goblined Peggy like she cut that bitch in half I was not expecting that
What did Dr. Strange do in the other universe that was so bad? I didn’t understand that part
What did Wanda say to herself when she touched her cheek after America brought Scarlett Witch to see Billy and Tommy? I literally did not hear it at all
Danny elfman did the score!! He did the Edward scissorhands score and I got so excited when I saw his name in the credits and then I was like wow I’m a loser I recognized the name of the man who wrote the score for Edward scissorhands
I am so excited for the rest of Dr. Stranges movies. I love his character
Wanda!!! Her character has changed so much from when we first saw her. I was rooting for her the whole time. I wanted to see her win. I love her and I need more
This movie felt so different but in a good way. I thought it was genuinely spooky at times. It’s definitely a new favorite of mine
Not me sitting in the theater an extra ten mins just to watch the guy punching himself 🤠

Cut for Dr Strange spoilers?/negativity + MCU negativity + images/screenshots
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Sharing this here not bc I have any particularly strong feelings one way or the other about Dr. Strange 2 (I don't), but bc I found this post really interesting, in that the person who posted it is a published author, but while she's got sort of a cult following (of which I am part), her books were published in the 80s/early 90s and are mostly out of print, and I don't believe she writes anymore (or, at least, if she does, she's not publishing/advertising) - which is also why I blocked her name out, to be on the safe side.
Regardless of the success, or lack thereof, of her books, though, I've always admired her writing style. And I found this discussion interesting bc she and her commenters touched on a lot of things that I also feel about the MCU as a whole and why it's been nearly impossible for me to work up any interest/enthusiasm in anything Phase-4 related (aside from Loki and Thor 4) - mainly, that the story has gotten so convoluted that you need so much background information and context and prior knowledge to even understand what's happening at this point, and it doesn't show any signs of slowing down.
I'm already lost at this point, tbh. My friend wants me to go with him to see Dr. Strange next weekend, and I'm just like, ugh, if I must, I guess. He's already seen it once, and I told him, all I care about is if Loki shows up or not, feel free to spoil me (and apparently Loki does not show up, which I was expecting, but at the same time, how you gonna make an entire tv series to set up the multiverse, the rules, the TVA, the concept of "variants," etc, and then not include any of that in the big multiverse movie asdhjdsahj like could you just not afford Tom Hiddleston or ). But I'm lost, and I'm not invested in any characters outside of the Loki 'verse (ie, the characters from the series + Thor and whatever Thor gets up to), so it's like - I'll see it but I don't expect to get anything out of it.
And it just makes me sad bc it didn't used to be that way, I used to get so excited about the films and have all the feels, and I liked crossovers but that was because I was invested in the characters individually, so I was interested in how they'd all interact with one another, and it never felt gratuitous the way it all does now. I guess it just doesn't feel like there's stakes anymore - like, as a viewer, it's just ... why should I care about any of this? What's at stake here? Where's the heart?
So, yeah, idk, I'm just venting at this point but yeah, seeing this post from someone whose writing I admire made me feel some kind of way, I guess? I'm not saying this person's opinion is the be-all/end-all or anything (re: whether or not DS2 is a good film), as I think she's a bit more scathing about it than perhaps is warranted, but at the same time, it's very easy to get caught up in the tumblr echo chamber, so it was interesting to me to see a discussion "in the wild" that echoed my own sentiments about the MCU in general.
Edit: I'm sorry if the screenshots are obnoxiously big, in my draft of this post I have the second/third ones side-by-side but when I save the post, they're not like that, so fml just more shit wrong with my post editor.
