Time for a rant post. Because it’s actually kinda annoying me now.

Dr. Stone Guys (mostly) have eyes JUST AS far apart as the girls.

Examples:

Ukyo is my best example…

Ukyo has eyes that are wide and far apart, like the girls do. And it’s obvious. Looking at him is kinda why I realized this was true.

Next up, example: Chrome

Still a bit obvious here because he’s got wide, small (length wise) eyes.

Another example, Gen:

His eyes are longer, I think, especially for his face shape. So I think this both hides it sometimes and makes it obvious in some frames.

Example: Stanley Snyder and Dr. Xeno

There are Exceptions, I Believe.

Examples:

Only sometimes do Tsukasa or Hyoga have eyes that are drawn far apart. Usually, they look the standard distance apart. Even here, they don’t look very far apart. And these like my best examples, I think.

Senku is another example, but I’m running out of space for pictures and I have a point to make here lol.

So what’s the difference?

The nose. The boys have defined noses. The girls don’t. The girls noses are usually a dot or a small line

Examples:

small other thing: I think Senku looks very different in the manga than in the anime. I think it’s his eyes and the nose.

And when Hyoga is drawn without his mask, his face changes a bit, I think?

Got any headcanons for Stanley Snyder?

i have a few i think you'd be interested in

for one hes from a military family, he joined an elite military unit by the time he was 25.

we all know he was childhood friends with Xeno, but he also envied Xenos home life a little as to being a civilian family and not a military family

went to all the military boot camps and what not as a child.

was the highschool star quarterback.

is surpsingly good with babies

when he found out Charlotte could mimick his voice, he used it to mess with Xeno and other members of the American Colony. It was a fun way to pass the time in a world with tv, movies, internet or books

was a straight A student in school. He kept it a secret since he dident think it was that big a deal, but given how determined and motivation driven he is, he made sur to get good grades

before the world turned to stone he planned to become a general for the army as his long term goal.

since he was in the army, he also naturally travelled the world, and because of that, was able to immerse in other cultures

hes very strict when it comes to training, dont expect any breaks longer then 10 minutes with him

him and Xeno became a couple when they were both in high school, though given they were in high school in 2007-2010 (or 2011), they kept it a secret.

i have a lot more but i have work soon so heres all i could list for now. If you want anymore please dont hesitate to ask! i love Stanley so doing headcanons for him is always fun.

Tw! Anxiety and panic attacks

-Senku and Dr. Xeno x reader who has severe anxiety and panic attacks-

-Senku Ishigami-

He doesn’t Have anxiety or anything, but he does understand how it works. After all, the man knows everything.

So he’s able to walk you through your panic attacks surprisingly affectively.

He kneels beside you and tells you to focus on your breathing, while he tries to distract you by talking about something you’re interested in or like.

He claims he only helps you because he needs your help in rebuilding society, but anyone can tell it’s because he actually does like you and cares a lot about what happens to you.

When it comes to your regular anxiety, he tells you that you have to just tell him what you need and he’ll make it happen.

Need medication? Fine he’ll figure out how to make some for you.

Just need his companionship? Easy enough. You can work with him in his lab if that’ll help you.

He doesn’t force you to confront your anxiety, instead he helps you avoid it.

He’s very busy, but if you need to talk he’ll try to help you logic your way through your anxiety while you work together on a project.

Sometimes just being able to work beside him and talk to him helps.

He remains nonjudgmental. He gets that everyone’s brain works differently…that’s literally science, and if anyone gives you a hard time for your anxiety he goes into a scientific rant about how your brain works differently from people without anxiety, and that expectations of you need to be adjusted accordingly. That’s only logical.

He knows that you literally cannot help it sometimes, so it’s unfair to judge you for it.

All in all Senku’s surprisingly good for your anxiety. And it helps that he’s always calm, and Always seems to have every situation under control.

Ok let’s take a look at Dr. Xeno (For the sake of it let’s say your his assistant from before the petrification)

-Dr. Xeno Houston Wingfield-

He’s not nearly as understanding as Senku, unfortunately. I think you’d have to give him time before he starts to be able to understand your anxiety and respect it.

At first he finds it kind of a hassle when you shut down because of a panic attack. He tends to make someone else deal with it, typically Stanley.

But with time he begins to notice the signs of your anxiety, pick up on the clues before you can have a full on attack, and he learns to diffuse the situation, such as by making you perform a simple, but calming repetitive task.

Being able to stop you from having a panic attack is very important to him (because it means he can get more work out of you) because in his own, Dr. Xeno way, he does care about you.

He doesn’t really Express his care for you though. Beyond the little ways.

Like giving you little compliments for your hard work, or commending you for avoiding a panic attack.

The first time he actually helped you through a panic attack was when you were working in his lab with him, and you just felt extremely anxious and couldn’t take it anymore.

He hadn’t noticed the signs, or it had come on to suddenly for him to react…whatever the case he was actually determined to help you this time.

He tells you to breathe deeply and focus on his voice and try to count with him, and it actually really calms you down.

You knew Dr. Xeno wasn’t really a big fan of physical affection, but you couldn’t fight the urge to give him a hug after that.

He awkwardly patted your back, told you that you were welcome, and that you had to Warn him next time you felt a panic coming on so he could suppress it early.

In conclusion it takes some time before Dr. Xeno respects your anxiety, but when he does he’s very skilled at helping you through it.

And he eventually gets to the point where he’s actually Protective over you, once he’s fallen deeply enough in love with you. We’re talking chewing someone out for giving you a hard time over your anxiety, haha.

Xeno: …and also Stanley has the bizzare habit of sucking toxic fumes into his lungs, then he is ex-military, well, still military but now in my employ, and when we were younger, we used to spend a lot of time together making weapons you know Stanley was a remarkable marksman even as a child!!!
