#castlevania #castlevania music #curse of darkness #music of the day #i will never forget the sheer panic i felt when i managed to land a hit on trevor and i only took a sliver of his health #his second boss fight is also the one that gave me the most trouble along with dracula #which honestly makes perfect sense #his theme doesn't just say that trevor is a huge badass #it's *scary* #those are scary strings #hector is terrified of trevor and for good reason #you really do not want him as your enemy #you can *feel* the disproportionate difference in power #this is not trevor's theme this is the theme of the one who destroyed lord dracula and is coming after you now #also this is just a sick boss theme #one of my faves for sure #the choirs the synths the strings the bass and of course the guitar all come together for an awe-inspiring piece #and i love how even yamane gushes about trevor in the soundtest

Hikari giggled as she crept up to her papa, trying to be scary like him. “Boo!”

Vlad heard her coming, naturally as she really wasn't that stealthy at her age. But of course he just couldn't bring himself to ruin it for her by letting her know this, pretending not to notice and simply work on writing his music.

Once she tried to startle him, he dramatically jumped and looked panicked. "Gah-! Who is there-??" He cried, checking around himself before looking down and spotting little Hikari.

"Ah, my stars, Hikari," he chuckled, "You certainly frightened me! When did you get to be so sneaky??"

leon in the sorrow timeline (reincarnated or timetravel idc) but specifically with soma having a silly crush on him due to dracula's intense unresolved feelings... like dracula's feelings about leon were deep and full of pining/regret/confusion/guilt/nostalgia but soma doesn't have the memories or anything so it just manifests in him as "who is this hot blond guy and why do i have primal urges to take out parchment and a quill to pen him ambiguously romantic letters that i will never send"
