A dragons beauty
Barbarian Katsuki x reader
Content warning: dysfunctional family, mental abuse, reader is slightly anxious/quick to upset over outbursts due to endeavour being her father
Also! Any dialogue like this “words words words” with a strike through it is Dragon-blood togue. I dont have any special font for it lol and i also feel like this makes it harder to read since technically you! The reader dont understand it and obviously bold words/sentences are your thoughts!

You sniffled as you packed your clothes into the leather trunk on your bed. The past three days had been the worst of your life, you spent day and night crying and when your tears finally dried up and you felt you could accept your new life thoughts of leaving your family made you crumble all over again. You closed the trunk up. You looked around your room wiping your dry eyes as you grabbed the trunk and sat it on the ground. It was early morning, birds singing. you weren't even dressed yet, wanting to delay your departure as much as possible. You slipped your dress, it was quite cold this morning so you made sure you were layered up with your white cloak.
Your maid Hana entered your room and came round, tying the lace backing of the dress as you stared blankly ahead ill never see Fuyumi again, or Natsuo or Shoto again. Hana finished and excused herself. you grabbed your smaller more delicate belongings, like your sketch book, hairbrush and other hygiene and accessories and packed them into your leather satchel.
A knock sounded at your door and you sighed, looking at the large clock opposite you. Your father was here, going over and opening the door you met his gaze, curtsying quickly and then looking away. You watched as two servants moved into your room and grabbed your packed belongings.
"lets go Kya and I don't want a scene, everyone is waiting at the gate" He informed and you nodded staying silent as yous headed to the outer gate. You seen as everyone was already there. The Dragon-blood clan ready on wagons and horses, some on foot. Your siblings stood off to the side and you looked up at your father who gave a small nod and you ran over, allowing yourself to be pulled in by their arms as they embraced you tightly. You pulled away feeling fresh tears prick the corners of your eyes as you looked at them all. "ill write every day Kya, don't worry and I talked to father about visiting and he said we could soon" Fuyumi reassured you. you nodded smiling at her, she was always so optimistic as if father would let her travel to see you in the mountains. Natsuo just kissed your forehead as he ruffled your hair. "Kya, I want you to have this" Shoto spoke, you looked over to him and seen he held an item wrapped in leather, bound by twine. You looked at him curious, taking it and going to untie it when he stopped you. "no, don't open it here. it'll keep you safe, only use it when you feel you need to" You stared at your brother, brows slightly furrowed. he was always so..so cryptic never fully explaining something. you only nodded and he gave you a small smile. "Come on Kya" Your father called and you gave your siblings a small smile. Fuyumi broke down, tears falling from her eyes as Natsuo wrapped his arm around her pulling her into him. His eyes pricked with tiny tears as well. You headed over to your father who stood by a wooden wagon covered by a tarp, hiding what was inside. he pulled back the opening and your eyes widened seeing Bakugou inside. Your father helped you as you climbed in on trembling legs, scared to be alone with him, especially after last night. You settled on the small wooden bench beside him, annoyed there weren't more seating areas, keeping your eyes trained ahead. you seen that same red-headed man jump up in the drivers seat. He flashed you a small grin which you returned.
He raised the leather straps bringing them down on the horses back in a quick movement as he shouted something in his language. The horses marched on and the sudden movement caused you to lose your balance. You fell back and bumped into him. His arms came to grab your waist as he helped you sit back up, whipping your head round you met his narrowed red eyes. your cheeks an obvious red. "Im ever so sorry!" you squeaked out as you tightened your grip on the leather clad item still in your hand. He only chuffed at you and rolled his eyes, your eyes widened as your nose subconsciously crinkled at his disgusting attitude. You turned back around, watching the scenery change. how rude, it was obviously an accident I bumped into him.
༄༄༄༄༄༄༄༄༄༄༄༄༄༄༄༄༄༄༄
You yawned as you leaned slightly against the tarp behind you. You had been travelling for hours now, well you assumed. Your satchel with your pocket watch was nowhere to be seen but it was now dusk and the sun had just rose when you left. The journey had been quiet the only speaking was done between Katsuki and his friend who drove the cart, of course you understood nothing they said. You yawned again, eyes hooded slightly as the rolling of the wagon lulled you. You turned, pulling your legs up to curl around you as you leaned further against the wooden brace the tarp wrapped around. I'm sure we'll be there soon. Your eyes slowly closed with each passing moment and soon your hands lay lax in your lap. The item Shoto gave you fell to the ground alerting both Katsuki and his friend.
Katsuki turned and seen you curled up, eyes closed as your chest rose and fell softly. He only rolled his eyes at you, turning back to face the path ahead.
"Shouldn’t you check on her chief?" His red headed friend asked, the blonde only rolled his eyes at his friends question.
“No, its not my responsibility” he scoffed, the horses plodded on. The path now becoming more bumpy as they entered the higher mountains, close now to their base. You groaned softly as the wagon rocked more roughly. Bakugou turned his head once more seeing your body shuffling closer to the edge of the small wooden seat.
“Bakugou! Shes going to fall” his friend scolded. Bakugou grumbled at his friends insistence and got up, moving back he arranged yous both so that your head lay in his lap as he held your body; his hand sitting on your waist.
He looked down at you, brows furrowed as he stared at your peaceful face. He was still furious with you for refusing to kiss him at your wedding. He didn’t understand you knew for months of the wedding like him and even so it was just a kiss. He supposed anyone would be nervous to kiss him, he is well known.
The wagon came to a halt and Bakugou looked up, recognising his home. Their small wooden gates opened allowing them to enter. The large campfire inside nothing but embers showing everyone had returned to their tents. He lifted your head up as he stood and reached under you, lifting you in his arms. You stirred lightly as he got off the wagon and walked towards his tent informing his friend to gather your belongings and bring them to the tent.
His house was far in the back of the settlement, away from everyone elses. A large round circle made of wood with a tarp roof made of animal skins and leather. He pushed the tarp door aside and entered, going over and laying you down on his bedding of animal fur and skins. His bed made of wooden logs making it slightly higher than the ground. He undressed himself, leaving himself in just his briefs looking at you and wondering if he should undress you.
He decided against it and instead got in beside you, pulling the fluffy pelt over you both as he turned and closed his eyes, hearing your stir and move he grumbled and grabbed your waist, pulling you into him. You settled pushing against the warmth of his chest and quietening down.
He heard his friend Kirishima enter and place your belongings somewhere before leaving. He tightened his hold on you as he let out a sigh and fell asleep
༄༄༄༄༄༄༄༄༄༄༄༄༄༄༄༄༄༄༄
Oh yeah, i wasn’t sure how to describe it but Bakugous house is a yurt. If yous want to search that up to have a better idea of it, some other characters also have these like his parents and higher ranked people in his tribe.

MHA various x Dragon reader
Part 1
It was a sunny day in Musutafu, Japan, but the woods were not as peaceful as they seemed. A dragon, about the size of a medium-sized car, was running frantically, causing trees to break and rustling the leaves. The dragon had spikes on its wings, back, and head, and its tail had fins at the very end.
The dragon was being hunted by a group of humans who were chasing it with tranquilizer darts.
_________________________________
You breathed heavily, running as fast as you could, your talons digging into the dirt as you ran, trying to avoid the tranquilizers that were shot in your direction.
“Bring me that dragon! dead or alive!” a human shouted behind you, sending shivers down your scaly, and spiky back. you looked around trying to find a way out of the woods, or an open space to fly away.
You ran faster, your talons digging into the ground as you approached the open space. With a burst of energy, you stretched your wings slightly and prepared to take off into the air. As you ran, you could hear the humans shouting and the sound of tranquilizer darts whizzing past your head "Hurry! Shoot it before it flies away!" one of humans shouted. But you didn't let that stop you. With a few more steps, you leaped into the air and flapped your wings, lifting yourself higher and higher until you were out of the range of the humans below.
____________________________
It was late, very late, the sun had gone down hours ago, your wings ached, and you were very tired, you cursed softly looking at your tail, a dart had hit your tail, you huffed softly.
Since it was just one dart the effects of it hit you slower, you started feeling drowsy, your body started shutting down slowly, and soon you were falling as you lost control of your body, As you fell to the ground, your body struck several trees with a deafening crash. The sound of snapping branches and splintering wood echoed through the forest as your weight caused the trees to bend and break, (you're in your dragon form lol) your wings flailed helplessly as it struggled to regain control, but it was too late. your body hit the ground with a tremendous impact. your scales scraped against the rough bark of the trees, leaving deep gouges in their trunks, and your tail thrashed about wildly, knocking over anything in its path. The sound of your heavy breathing filled the air as you lay there, stunned and helpless, your eyes closing in pain.
______________________________
Izuku panted, his body slightly sweating from the running, "I have to train hard so that I can handle All Mights quir- wow!" he noticed a trail of broken trees and scattered debris up ahead. His heart began to race with excitement and fear as he approached the area.
As he got closer, he saw a large, scaly tail lying motionless on the ground. Izuku felt a sudden rush of fear wash over him, and he wasn't sure what to do. He had never seen a dragon up close before, and he wasn't sure if it was safe to approach it.
He cautiously approached the dragon, trying to get a better look without getting too close. To his surprise, the dragon was unconscious and breathing heavily. Izuku felt a wave of sympathy wash over him. He knew he had to do something to help the dragon, but he wasn't sure what.
He decided to stay with the dragon and keep watch over it until he could figure out a plan. He sat down beside it and tried to calm his racing thoughts. As he looked at the dragon, he couldn't help but wonder how it had ended up in the forest and what had caused it to fall. He knew he had a lot of questions, but for now, his main priority was to keep the dragon safe and make sure it got the help it needed.
_________________________________
you jolted awake, groaning softly, you looked around making sure you were alone, "aww what cute boy!" you thought before looking away, you quickly looked back, jumping to your talons, and looked at the human with green hair, you let out a small growl, showing your sharp teeth.
The young boy stared at you as he stood up backing up a little, "w-wow there, I won't hurt you" he said softly, putting his hands up slightly. You huffed, looking at him, should you trust him? he seemed around your age, but what if he hurt you… you continued to look at him, squinting your eyes slightly.
Izuku watched as the dragon looked at him, he gulped when he noticed the dragon arching its back slightly, and walking toward him slowly the dragon's pupils were dilated, maybe that was a good sign that it was friendly?
___________
You got closer to the boy, maybe, just maybe, he won't hurt you like other humans have before…
__________
there is part 1!! i hope you enjoyed it! if i made a mistake please let me know

Demon Slayer
A Marriage of Convenience - (Yoriichi x female!reader)
Summary: Yoriichi's friends think that Yoriichi is too lonely and needs a wife and family to take care of him. They propose a marriage of convenience to a woman who's in need of a husband. The arrangement of the marriage is simple: both parties live their lives as before, y/n takes care of Yoriichi as a wife and Yoriichi keeps unwanted men (and demons) away. Love is not required, friendship is appreciated. However, how detached can one be when living so close to each other?
Harry Potter
Seven Summers - (Draco Malfoy x female!reader)
Summary: Every summer, Draco and y/n meet. First, by pure coincidence, then intentionally. Unbeknown to Draco, y/n's a muggle who has no clue he's a wizard. With the rise of the dark lord, how long can this go well?
My Hero Academia
A dragon's heart - (barbarian!bakugou x female!reader)
Summary: The dragonblood tribe is known for being cruel, barbarian warriors that slaughter, loot and rape all places they pass through. They are feared among the villagers and even bigger cities. Having lost most of their women to a plague, they're trying to ensure their tribe's survival by kidnapping women from other places. However, they're not the only monsters in human form out there. When y/n experiences this first hand, she has no choice but to ask for help from no other but the barbarian leader Katsuki Bakugou himself.
Between then and now - (Toshinori Yagi x female!reader)
Summary: When a whirlwind affair between you and All Might was found out by his manager, it was made sure that no one ever knew about you or your relationship with All Might. Even twenty years later, Toshinori Yagi still thinks of you. His retirement leaves him lonely in a cold city apartment and he wonders what could’ve been. Maybe it’s time to rekindle? But is that what you want?
Heartbreak and other nuisances - (Pro-hero!Deku x female!reader)
Summary: Love is never easy, especially when you're the number one hero of Japan. After getting dumped by his childhood love, Deku just can't seem to get it right, much to his mother's disappointment. When he meets y/n, he is convinced it will just be a one-night stand. Or being fuck buddies. His broken heart stands in his way. And you've got your own demons to fight.

Fandom‧˚。゚・° 。✎ Legend of Zelda (linked universe)
Pairing‧˚。゚・° 。✎ Yandere!Platonic!Linked universe x Deku shrub!Reader
Word count‧˚。゚・° 。✎ 3605
Summery‧˚。゚・° 。✎ This is for a request I got that I got really into and wrote a mini chapter to. The reader is a deku shrub that was caught in a fight between the Links and Dink and they group took you in.
Misc‧˚。゚・° 。✎ Yandere behavior, the ending might be a little rushed, lots of dialogue, the group adopts the reader into the group, written for the boys perspective.
“Formations!” Warrior yelled. He had spent a lot of time on the battlefield yelling to be heard over the chaos. It was something he was good at. His voice rang loud and clear as the group looked around quickly moving to the spots they were supposed to hold if they ever got into a fight. It was practised and they all knew what to do and how to hold their own square. This was not the first time they ran into an ambush. Wouldn't be the last either.
This time the strange portal dropped them on a forest path. The whole group made it through and they were trying to catch their surroundings. Going through a portal always left you feeling disoriented. Time looked around. The area here felt like something. Something close to home. There was this sense of familiarity that held him at bay as he looked at Warrior for confirmation.
The young man was staring at the shadow. The demented creature stood across the way in plain sight between two trees. He wasn't even trying to hide. He stood waiting holding Time’s friend in a stare. It was tempting Warrior. Trying to draw him out so the enemies hidden near it could strike. Looking more closely, Time could see a tail move and he could hear some branches snap under the weight of another enemy. There were at least two lizalfos waiting in hiding so they could strike once someone rushed forward. Time could see them and Warrior must have as well. Or else he would have run after it already.
“There's three over here.” Traveller called. His voice was quiet compared to the commanders yell that it was hard for Time to catch it. He was using his regular speaking voice. Tenuous and tight he didn't need to yell to be heard. but so was everyone else. Not even insects chirped. It was just them. All the birds must have fled at the sight of the monsters who were waiting for who knows how long.
“Five!” Sky yelled. He was the closest to Time standing to his right. He turned to see what was there. These monsters stood not even trying to hide. They looked like the Lizalfos but bigger with thicker hide. They were better armed and had more armour that covered thick muscles. Taller and more heavy in muscle. Less like lizards and more closely resembling dragons. Time swore under his breath. He knew where they were. They were certainly in his hyrule. Those were dinolfos.
“I have a few over here.” Wind called. His voice was unsteady like it always was when a fight picked up. He had the same issue when he was younger. The nerves pick up and it always shows. “I can't count how many. They’re hiding behind the trees!”
“We’re in my Hyrule. I don't know where, so stick close.” Time said. Voice low and calm. This wasn't the worst trap they'd walked into. The Shadow must be running out of henchmen. Time couldn't see any enemies on his side. Just some the Shadow and goons on one side and the five Sky called on the other. He would have to choose who to go to in battle.
He knew he should help Sky. He wouldn't though. The shadow couldn't get away again, and he knew Warrior would rush headfirst into a fight with it. That idiot was just asking to be separated from the group and cornered. He knew it too, he just didn't care. Too headstrong and confident he was certain that he would be the one to kill the shadow. The shadow had been unashamed in ignoring all the others and only going after one of them at a time. It wanted to only kill one rather than fighting everyone.
Time turned around to face where Legend and Hyrule were. Legend held his fire rod in one hand and a sword in the other while Hyrule had his shield up and was waiting for the first shot. No one had moved from their positions yet and the forest was filled with the air of unsung battle. There was no easy way out of this.
He didn't know where he was in his Hyrule. They could be anywhere really. He couldn't give them a good spot to retreat to if things went wrong. Which was good. He wasn't in a running mood. The shadow had gotten away too many times. The group had to land a blow or else they would all go crazy.
It was the shadow who made the first move. It tried to disappear into the forest. Warrior broke formation and started to chase after it. Twilight closed the gap and Time moved to fill in the extra space. An arrow whizzed by his face as he moved. The shot missed and landed in the bushes nearby. The monsters popped out of hiding and attacked as the shadow fled. One of the two monsters rushed out with a spear and chased after Warrior.
He wanted to go after the blonde haired bastard but he couldn't leave the rancher open to any enemies on his flank. Plus a two on one was never pretty. He helped level the playing field. Raising his sword high with two hands he struck an unsuspecting lizalfos who wasn't paying attention. The blow took it in a downward swing where the neck met the shoulder. Pulling the blade free the monster lept back and hissed. Twilight pulled out his grappling hook and swung it forward. Pulling the beast back into range.
Time put the finishing blow on the injured enemy as Wild filled the other up with arrows. It took too many shots to take down one of these beasts but whatever got the job done. Time rushed forward in pursuit of the shadow and Warrior. They both disappeared over a hill. Once at the top of the hill however he stopped. Below him was the very man he was hellbent on giving a good talk to. Time made his way down the hill- careful to not trip or fall down in his heavy armour.
There was more fighting behind him but the group could fend for themselves. They had the right skills needed. Warrior was just standing there staring down at his feet. No one else was around and the shadow was gone. Time went to his side and waved expecting an explanation. “Got it?”
“Check.” The captain was a man of few words when it was time to fight. A habit that was annoying if you wanted long answers but good for a soldier.
“Can I assume it’s dead?” His voice was gruff. A response to the weeks he'd spent travelling on harsh roads. It was clear that everyone wanted to get to the bottom of this but everytime they got close to an answer it was ripped from them.
“No. It jumped away and left-” Warrior waved his hands at the ground at his feet. He hadn't looked away yet. There was a flower on the ground. A twig that held a bundle of delicate blue and white flowers. The mixture of the two separate flowers looked wonderful as their stalks intertwined and grew into each other. A rare spectacle. It looked a little strange to be here. Plants didn't grow like that and Time could feel that something was amiss. “-this thing here.”
“A flower?” A sound, not unlike that you would hear from a fairy, came from the ground. A bush-like creature jumped out from under the dirt. Not even leaving a hole. A spirit of the earth and nature looked up at him with two beady eyes. A creature he hadn't seen since he was a kid. He had been turned into one by the skull kid when he chased his friend through the forest that first time.
Time vividly remembers the deku shrub that told him of his destiny. Of how he wasn't really one of the kokiri, the forest children, how he was really left there by his mother who died escaping the war. A flood of sadness was met with the warmth of seeing an old friend. They stood only a foot tall and had an eternal smile on their face. One of the literal children of the forest.
All forest spirits were family to him. He grew up around them and considered himself one for the better part of his childhood. Time knelt on the ground. Even now he was too tall to meet the creature's eyes. You were so small you couldn't have been more than a few years old. There weren't many shrubs left. Even now they are in decline. The number was fading fast and here you were! There were sounds of fighting up the hill and Time turned around to check.
“They’ll need help, I’ll stay here to look after the herb.” Time said.
“I'll stay here in case it comes back.” Warrior barked back. He really didn't want the shadow to get away again. It was a case of two well matched soldiers making it a challenge to show off. However the shadow seemed to be falling for the bait less and less. No matter how much ground they made it never seemed to be enough. They were always too far behind and could never catch up. All the ground they made was quickly swallowed by the knowledge that they had no clue what was going on. They were stuck chasing the tail of a beast they've never seen the head to.
“If I leave you alone the shadow will double back around and ambush our only member standing alone. Besides,” Time smiled down at you and rubbed your head. You squealed and hid back down in the dirt.  “they're too adorable to leave alone.”
“You're not going back up the ridge to help?”
“They can handle themselves.”
“So can I.” Warrior looked down at you and was hard pressed to keep a stern expression on his face. You were cute for a little shrub monster. The racket you made when Dink came nearby struck a chord in him. He knew you were not dangerous but he couldn't figure out what you were. “I can stand guard here and make sure this one doesn't flank us.”
“Don't call them that.” Time frowned.
“Why’s that?” It was possible that the captain had never seen a deku shrub or young deku tree. He talked about fighting in one with Lana and others but that one was decades old and had already grown to be bigger than a house.
“They're a deku shrub. They wouldn't even hurt a fly.” you could hurt a fly but the expression still stood. You were a staple of the forest and a guardian of the master sword. You could hardly go around killing things. It just wasn't in your nature. You were too young to leave alone, you were only a baby! The group would have to take you with them so none of the monsters would hurt you.
. . .
“Back home doesn't have a deku tree. We would benefit from one.” Hyrule commented. He thought back to home. He knew that his Hyrule was in decline but ever since he saved Zelda and reawakened the triforce things have been getting better. If they got a deku tree there would be one to watch over the master sword and the forests. “There's a lot of areas untouched by people they can call home. I know the forest people and fairies would rather enjoy their company.”
He could see you running around with his sisters. Playing by the fairy fountain and both learning from and protecting them in years to come. He could cosy up underneath a tree with you. Talk and spend his time teaching you. You'll grow with age and with that will come wisdom but until you're older you'll need lessons. He could teach you along with his sisters when they went back home.
“They might be too young. I dont think theyll be grown enough to turn into a deku tree for a long time.” Sky commented. He was not done feathering the unfortunate plant. They practically had to be wrestled from his arms when they put you down. He looked to be the most attached front he started. Cooing at you and trying to water you to help the plant on your head. He had even asked Fi if she knew anything about the spirits on the ground. He was not one to shy away about how he thought the group had to be careful. You were to stay with them until the group decided what was best for you.
The issue with that was- was that none of them knew what was best. They could go and ask a deku tree but that would involve leaving their defensive post. If the shadow wasn't being chased they'd just run off and the trail would grow cold. If they sent someone off on their own to ask the tree it was possible the shadow would attack; and if the shadow went through another portal the group would follow. Leaving their other members stranded with no prospects of coming back. This was starting to become a heated topic.
“Their home is in the kokiri forest. I know the tree there and that is where they should stay.” Time said. His tone was not stern just matter of fact and it drove Warrior to no end.
“You know what I think-” Warrior started. He hadn’t let the old man rest all day. The subject was a sore spot and no one in the group could tell why. Time had not moved from his morally superior spot of this being his Hyrule. Which meant it was his great deku shrub. Warrior had been the one to find it. He had been to the great deku tree in his time and it was huge trees that rivalled the sky for height as far as the eye could see. You might enjoy it there and they wouldn't know unless they took you with them.
“Time is right about one thing.” Wild interrupted. Not caring or noticing that Warrior was about to say something. Warrior was going to be mature about this. “This is their Hyrule, we should be keeping them here.” Twilight nodded but looked over to the shrub. You poked your head up and made a gleeful sound before ducking back under. Showing yourself just to calm the nerves of the group before ducking away into the cold earth. You were regarded as adorable that's for sure, still young as they could all tell, but how you seemed to just captivate the group was a mystery.
“We had a deku tree back home. It wasn't big though. I don't know how old but nothing too special.” Wind said. He had been confused as to why everyone was freaking out. You would be travelling with them regardless. That was for certain. It was all just a matter of Time. they were seeing how long it would take for them to argue for argument's sake. Wind wanted to roll his eyes but he knew that this was simply how the group figured things out. They were adults and they just couldn't wait to see what would happen.
“They're all special. A great deku tree isn't born everyday.” Time corrected Wind and it was the first time his voice softened since they sat down. He was always gentle with the kid. More gentle than he was with the adults.
“If we leave them by themselves they will have to learn on their own. It might help to keep them with their kin so they can learn more.” Four siad. He had been quiet the whole time. He didn't care to add to the bickering. He was more happy watching from the sidelines and seeing what the group siad. Vio was right though. You might get lonely or worse, you might be missing crucial information on how to do… whatever it was the deku trees did. Four didn't know and he was convinced the rest of the group didn't either. He would bring it up later. Adding more fuel to the fire wouldn't help.
“I think-” Warrior began again only to be cut off by Sky.
“We can’t find anything in common here, we might as well just keep them.”
“Keeping them here is the only good response!” Wild yelled. The group erupted into chaos. The debate of what to do and the whole debacle of having a spirit of not so inconsiderable power was something else. You weren't anything special now but in years to come you could grow into a great deku tree. One who watched over the sanctum of the master sword and helped guide the forest people. Right now you were too small and mischievous to do anything of the sort but you would mature with age.
Leaving you be, taking you with them, having you stay in a different Hyrule… There was no good answer to the dilemma. They couldn't just keep you with no plan especially not if it caused a rift in the group. They had to settle this. Even if they did take you with them, how long could you stay? How would you respond to life on the road? There would be times that they would have to travel on mountains and through feet of snow. Would you try to involve yourself in their quest? You were a variable they knew next to nothing about but you couldn't just leave. Not after just walking into their life like this.
The group didn't settle the debate. They more came to the mutual conclusion that they can always come back and leave you here if they decide otherwise. They can keep you with them until the time to drop you off somewhere comes up. As a deku tree part of your job would be to guard the master sword and keep an eye over it. Sky had Fi with him and bening by her side might be why you're where. Sky picked you up and cradled you in his arms. Explaining that you showing up here must be because you sensed the sword and wanted to start your duties of watching over her. Keeping you here with her until you decide to leave was the best way to appease everyone. You would leave when the time was right and they could take you anywhere you wanted to be afterwards.
Time had clung to you immediately. He had decided that you were his. He was raised by a great deku tree and has met with several sprouts before. They were always so sweet. His first thought is to bring you home to Malon. He does do this and the plan from the start has been to help raise you. You're great with plants and Malon just eats you up. She is so happy to watch you run around and help out in the garden. Everyone is glad to have you around but Time is especially attached. Due to how he was raised he is happy to welcome a deku sprout to his family.
Warrior is so happy to see Time talk to you so much. It brings out a younger side to Time and he can see how good you are for everyone. As much as he enjoys seeing Time talk to you it takes Warrior time to regain his young spirit again as well. He missed all the work he put into his adventure. Meeting you was a sweet surprise. You're a ray of sunshine that brings out the best in the group.
He would love to leave the group and hide you away in his Hyrule so he can make sure you grow up where he can keep an eye on you but he knows that he would be caught at this point. So for now Warrior sticks to being a good parental figure. Wasting no time chastising the members of the group when they act out of line. Like when Four picked you up and threw you. Fun for you, but uncalled for.
Twilight is obviously so eager to learn more about deku trees because there wasn't one in his time. Tiem had talked about it as if it was interesting but he said Ganondorf had poisoned the deku tree and they all died out as a response. Twilight doesn't want to leave you here if that's the case. He would much rather take you to the farm. You'd like the goats and the plants and the villagers would be kind to you. He's happy to help teach you and has taken over the role of teaching you your numbers and letters with the help of Wind. you'll need to learn at some point.
Wild is super excited to learn about the life cycle of the trees and can't wait to see how you'll grow up!! Just how big will you get? Are you like the Koroks? He takes you to see Hestu and will show you the others he comes across. He’ll solve several puzzles for you. Seeing you dance with Hestu when he does his upgrades makes him so happy, he thinks it's so cute to see you all interact. The flower you have on the top of his head reminds him of the korok puzzles where he has to chase down the flower to finish the puzzle. He has grabbed it at several points only to be chastised by the others.

--------------------------
Part Three
When you finally woke, it was morning. The sun was shining through a crack in the tent flaps illuminating a small sliver of the furs on the floor. You blinked and sat up, rubbing your eyes as you glanced around. This tent was full of plants, and different medical instruments as well as art. Your eyes widened when you saw a painting of your dragon.
“Oh, you’re awake,” A gentle voice said from deeper within the tent, and a man with green hair came forward. He was tall, built like a warrior, not a healer. He glanced at where you were looking and smiled, “Looks just like your dragon right?”
You nodded, “yes, it’s beautiful, you’re quite talented.”
The healer grinned, pleased with your answer as he pulled up a stool and sat down next to you, “thank you, but more importantly how do you feel?”
You looked towards your leg, it was wrapped in cloth, but it didn’t hurt not like last night. “It feels much better.”
“Good, glad to hear it. I’m Midoriya, the clan healer, I don’t think we’ve been properly introduced,” Midoriya said as he stuck out his hand.
You took it, surprised with how firm his handshake was, and you told him your name.
Midoriya hummed as he placed his hand back on his thigh, “Well, I’d like to keep you here for a few more hours, just to be sure you’re back to normal, but that’s up to Kacchan.”
“Kacchan?” you repeated, raising an eyebrow.
Midoriya nodded, “Katsuki.”
“Oh,” you said, feeling a bitter taste in your mouth. Even though he saved you, he did leave you out there to die in the woods.
“He should be here right about,” Midoriya said as he lifted the tent flap to look at his sundial, which almost immediately got blocked by Bakugou’s shadow. “Now.”
You lifted your gaze to see Bakugou’s hulking figure in the middle of the entrance to the tent. He was still covered in your blood from last night, and you could see your bloody hand prints on his chest, neck, and face.
“Get out Deku,” Bakugou snapped, giving his friend a harsh push out of the tent and yanking the flaps shut as he walked toward you and sat on the stool next to your bed. He remained silent for a few moments, examining your wounds. You were mostly healed, just a few scabs on your calf from the pincher. “You healed nicely.”
You frowned, “Lucky me.” You wished more than anything that this mission was over and your enemies were gone, you wished Bakugou was gone. That pompous jerk, you glanced at him again, jutting out your bottom lip as you narrowed your eyes.
“I guess you have a right to be pissed at me-”
“You left me knowing those insects would be out!” you snapped, how was I supposed to fend for myself? I had no weapon because Sero took my spear away from me.”
“I know, look,” Bakugou hissed as he ran his hand over his face, “it was a lapse of judgment alright?”
You scoffed, “whatever.” You looked away from him, still feeling more than upset. Despite your current feelings, this was the moment you were looking for. The moment you could slip past his guard and progress your relationship with him.
“Don’t be such a brat, you’re fine. Kirishima got stung by one once,” Bakugou snapped back, clearly done with your attitude.
You huffed, glancing back at him. He did seem to be somewhat conflicted with himself. This was good. “Alright,” you began, letting your shoulders drop, “we can just forget about it, okay? I’m fine thanks to Midoriya.”
Bakugou rose a brow, clearly confused as to why you were letting him off the hook. Why would you do that? You’re people were full of hate, they held a grudge. He knew that for a fact, he saw that when he met your mother when you were both kids. He wouldn’t ever forget her cold gaze, it felt like ice was pelting his skin when she looked at him.
But when he looked at your eyes, there was no malice. Your amber eyes were warm, welcoming. Had he misjudged you?
No, there was still a glint of scheming behind your eyes. He still couldn’t trust you.
You offered him a small smile, “what? Not used to someone letting you off the hook? Can’t say I’m surprised your grandmother seems to run a pretty tight ship around here.”
Bakugou pulled himself out of his thoughts and scoffed while shaking his head. It was then he noticed something around your neck that wasn’t there before. It was his necklace, “why do you have that?” he asked.
You furrowed your brows and glanced down seeing a leather necklace around your neck. It had a few gemstones on it, carnelian, quartz, and a bear claw? That wasn’t yours. “Oh, I don’t know, I woke up with it.”
Bakugou snorted, glancing outside to see Deku talking with Kirishima. Damn idiot must have put it on you last night. He absently rubbed his neck, feeling your dry blood flake off his skin, did you yank it off by accident? Maybe that’s how you got it? He let out a sigh, as he looked towards you struggling to untie the leather knots that held his necklace around your neck. “Whatever, just keep it for now. I’ll get it later. Don’t lose it, it’s worth more than your entire clan,” Bakugou snapped as he stood up narrowing his eyes at you before leaving you in the tent alone.
Your eyes widened in shock as you looked down at the necklace, and then you grinned. This was a big step in your friendship, which meant you were that much closer to achieving your goal.
—--------
The next few days you spent in camp so you could finish healing. It was nice though, you learned where everything was and even met some people that didn’t seem to hate you for your family name.
Your favorite part of camp was probably the market. Every family in the clan had some sort of speciality that could be traded which meant that the market was busy everyday with something new. Personally, your favorite trader had to be an old man who was a beekeeper. He would have a huge spread of various honey’s he collected from his hives along with honeycomb, and beeswax that he’d turn into different moisturizers.
All in all it was very impressive to you, considering you had no idea what a bee was up until now.
“So this honey,” you began as you pointed to the dark golden liquid in the jar, “comes from insects?”
“Yes,” the beekeeper, whose name you learned was Gran, said, “for the hundredth time yes! If you keep comin’ back here asking me about my damn bee’s-”
You grinned and held up your hands, “sorry, sorry, it’s just so weird that you eat this stuff from them?”
Gran rolled his eyes, “look if I give you some will you leave me alone? I have paying customers here,” he snapped while leaning around you to see a growing line of irritated people.
You shook your head, “I couldn’t-”
“Just take it,” Gran grumbled and tossed you a frosted glass jar filled with honey and some honeycomb.
You caught the jar and gave him a sheepish smile before darting away from the rest of the people in line. You didn’t miss how someone cursed you out as you passed, one man even spat at your feet. Not that you really cared anymore. These people would have what's coming to them in due time.
For now, you were more interested in your honey. You made your way across camp, holding the jar up to see the sunlight illuminate the honey, making the gold liquid glow.
While you were so busy inspecting the honey, you failed to miss two pairs of eyes watching you closely.
“Look at that creature,” Mitsuki snapped, watching you from a distance. She was seething at the fact that you were still here. “Why hasn’t she left?”
“Ask the ancient hag that,” Bakugou scoffed, as he shot you a quick glance, and then looked back at his reflection in the bowl in front of him. He was carefully painting red lines down his bare chest, trying hard not to mess up.
Mitsuki huffed, “if she steps one toe out of line, you have my permission to eliminate her-”
“What is with you two?” the queen mother’s frail voice sounded from behind Bakugou’s tent. “She hasn’t done anything wrong-”
“But she will, mother,” Mitsuki snapped as she turned her enraged gaze towards her mother, “it is in her blood.”
“We don’t know that,” the queen mother said as she inspected Bakugou. “All she’s done is pester Gran about honey for the past three days. She’s nothing like her mother, it’s clear to see that.” She paused, taking a rattling breath as she turned to her grandson, “Katsuki, keep those lines straight, none of your suitors want to see sloppy work.”
“Whatever,” Bakugou snapped, not bothering to look at his grandmother.
—-----
You soon found yourself under a large willow tree beside a wide shallow creek. There were a few water birds waddling around the edges of the creek, ducking their heads into the current to catch a mouthful of minnows.
You let out a sigh, as a warm breeze shook the branches of the tree above you, making the leaves rattle softly in the wind. It was so nice here, and so pretty. The people here took that for granted. They didn’t know what it was like to not feel plush green grass beneath the feet, or have clean flowing water.
Or to be able to experience the gifts that mother nature bears to her friends. Like the honey you were given. You undid the top of the jar, setting the lid on your knee as you inspected the honey, it was a viscous liquid, and sticky looking.
Without giving it a second thought you dunked your finger into the jar and pulled it out, watching as the golden liquid clung to your finger. You stuck out your tongue, giving it a tentative lick and to your surprise it was sweet.
In fact, it was the best thing you've ever eaten in your whole life. Before you could even register you had your whole hand in the jar trying to yank out the honeycomb inside.
“If I didn’t know any better, I would think you were a bear,” Bakugou’s grandmother said from behind you.
How you didn’t hear her sneak up on you, you had no idea, but that didn’t matter. You were more embarrassed that she had caught you with your whole hand in a jar of honey. “Oh, I’m sorry I didn’t see you,” you began, completely caught off guard as you tried to yank your hand out of the jar.
“It’s okay, go back to eating your honey,” she said with a chuckle as she moved beside you and then sat down with a soft groan. She then placed her cane next to her as she leaned back against the tree. “It’s not often I find myself this far outside of my tent but I have to admit, this is  a nice view of camp.”
You nodded, wondering if she figured out you would come out here to scope things out. If she was starting to suspect you.
Although you were also out here to enjoy nature and get away from the people who could barely stand your entire existence. “It is impressive.”
“I imagine so,” Bakugou’s grandmother said as she watched you take a bite of the honeycomb. You had honey dripping off your chin, and then she noticed the necklace you were wearing. It was Katuski’s, it was made after he killed his first bear.
You chewed on the honeycomb, savoring its sweetness as you glanced at the queen mother again. “What brings you out here?”
“Watching my grandson scare away his suitors,” she said with a sigh as she lifted her hand to point to where Bakugou was storming towards a group of women.
“Oh?” you said as you wiped your mouth with the back of your hand, “he gets to choose?”
“He does, to some extent,” his grandmother answered, “we have this tradition that the prince or princess must choose their partner before obtaining the throne. We have a pool of suitable partners put together for them, usually this is decided by our elders. It’s a bit like a ceremony and the healer has a vision.”
“A vision?” you asked with raised brows.
Bakugou’s grandmother nodded, “yes, in our clan our healer is the one closest to our ancestors. They see and understand what we do not. Along with healing the sick and wounded they also guide us. Young Midoriya has done well after his mentor, Toshinori passed.”
“Interesting, back in my home, we didn’t have anything like that,” you said remembering back to your home. The decisions were made by your mother. She was swift with her judgment and anyone who didn’t impress her was thrown into the streets at night, which were wildly unsafe with rogues and murderers. Most of the unlucky people who faced your mothers judgment did not live to see the next day.
Your home was chaotic at its best. There were no rules except to survive. If you had a piece of land or a shack of your own, you had to fight for it. Every person fended for themselves.
The honey seemed unappetizing now as you set the jar beside you, watching as Bakugou talked to a tall girl with wildflowers braided into her hair. “How do the visions impact his choice?” you finally asked.
“Well, this was Midoriya’s first time, so he wasn’t able to give us a clear picture. I believe he said he saw a bear, the ocean, a good amount of blood, something about a large beast, red dahlias,  and a ladybug. It was rather confusing to a good majority of the elders, including myself.”
You huffed, “well, hopefully Bakugou figures it out fast, looks like he’s done for the day.” you mentioned with a chuckle as you watched him stomp off and one girl clearly kicked dirt in his direction.
“That brat,” Bakugou’s grandmother hissed, “here help me up will you? I’ve got to get back.”
You nodded, standing up fast and quickly washing your hands and face off in the creek so you weren’t covered in honey before helping the queen mother up. She was looking more frail today and you heard her let out a rattly breath again. “Are you doing alright?” you asked as you let her cling onto your arm.
She looked up at you, “oh yes, thank you I’m fine. It’s just when the nights start to get cold like this, my lungs give me trouble. In fact,” she began glancing at the mountain range ahead. The snow was starting to creep down the face of the mountain. “We should be packing up to move to our winter camp soon.”
You gave her an odd look before remembering that they were nomadic. It would make sense for them to leave when it got cold here to go somewhere warm. “Where would that be?”
“Oh, it’s my favorite,” the queen mother smiled as she shut her eyes, “we go to the ocean.”
—-----
As the week went on you were mostly left to your own devices still, due to how intense Bakugou’s courting was. He would be out in the fields all day talking to girls. You learned everytime he chose someone, he would have to bring them to Midoriya, where they would have to be approved. All week you saw a frustrated Bakugou storm out of the tent followed by the sound of crying.
Which meant he was in a rotten mood. He stayed true to his grandmother's request to teach you his clan's ways, but he had a short span of patience for you and more often than not he would call you some foul name and then leave.
“You have to use a saddle,” Bakugou hissed as he pointed to your dragon. “It’s part of our customs.”
“But I don’t want to use a saddle,” you argued, “it slows her down and it restricts me.”
Bakugou growled your name as he took a threatening step towards you, “well if you want to stay here, you have to use a fuckin’ saddle.”
You rolled your eyes, “she’s not gonna like that.” As if she understood your words your dragon pressed herself close to the grass, letting a low hiss pass through her teeth at the sight of the large saddle on the ground.
“I mean, maybe she doesn’t have to wear it,” Kirishima said with a shrug, "it is pretty uncomfortable during long rides.”
“Did I ask for your input, shitty scales? No.
So keep your trap shut,” Bakugou hissed.
Kirishima snorted and shook his head before sharing a glance with your dragon and then shrugged.
You folded your arms across your chest, “I bet your grandmother would be fine if I rode bareback.”
“The ancient hag is not on your side,” Bakugou hissed, “just cause you two talked for a bit doesn’t mean shit. You're still a brat, and a traitor.”
“That line gets old,” you said as the wind started to pick up, making you have to raise your voice. “Why don’t you go and talk to another suitor? Kirishima can teach me more-”
“That’s not Kirishima’s job,” Bakugou interrupted, “you’re my responsibility, and like hell I’d leave you with him.”
“Well maybe you should go, man?” Kirishima said gently, “I think, and I mean this nicely, you need a break. It can’t feel great that everytime you bring someone to Midoriya you get turned down.”
Bakugou’s upper lip twitched. He was pissed as hell at Deku. That damn healer was set on staying true to his vision. Well, Bakugou thought that vision was shit, it literally meant nothing. He just needed to have a betrothed before the fall festival which would be in the coming months after the clan traveled to their winter location. His mother’s old war wound was forcing her to give up her throne sooner than expected and he had to step up, yet he was failing all because of a stupid damn vision.
“It’s fine, Katsuki, nothing is going to happen,” Kirishima assured again.
Bakugou shot you one last glare before storming off, muttering about something under his breath.
“Well I feel better now,” Kirihsima laughed as he came closer to you, “he’s been wound up for weeks now.”
You snorted, “don’t know how you manage to put up with him.”
Kirisima smiled, it was bright, “you’ll learn to love him in time, he’s a good guy.”
You gave Kirishma a weak smile. That was far from true. Bakugou was part of the family that condemned yours. He was the farthest thing from a good guy.
Kirishima hummed, sensing a bit of your apprehension, but decided to leave it. “So tell me more about your dragon?” he asked as he walked forward letting your dragon sniff his arm.
“Oh, well I don’t know that much about her. She’s not like you all,” you commented to him. Hoping he didn’t ask too many questions just due to the fact that your dragon was from the royal clutch after all.
Kirishima laughed, “she isn’t at all. I can’t say I’ve seen a green one before. Back in my homeland, most of us are bright red, aside from a few being maroon.” He paused and looked at you briefly, “are you planning on staying with us for a while?”
You were taken back with his question, and your heart jumped in your chest. Why did he ask that? Did he want you to leave? Was he able to sense that you were going to betray his and Bakugou’s trust someday? You swallowed thickly, “um, I was thinking it would be nice to stay with you the clan till you reach your winter grounds.”
To your utter surprise Kirisima smiled again, “good, I’m glad to hear that. Despite what everyone else thinks, I like having you around.”
You furrowed your brows, “what makes you say that?”
Kirishima shrugged, “just instinct, I guess.” He rolled his shoulders, “well, why don’t we try out this saddle then?”
You sighed, “alright, fine. But if she throws me off, you’ll have to catch me.”
Kirishima snorted and then helped you saddle your dragon. It was a little touch and go as she clearly didn’t like having straps around her chest to hold the saddle in place. After a solid thirty minutes of struggling she was ready.
You tentatively climbed onto the saddle. It looked almost ridiculously small on your dragon's huge back. She turned her head to look at you as you sat down, and stretched your legs in the seat. The leather creaked and groaned as you adjusted your seat. “This is wildly uncomfortable,” you muttered.
“Just need to break it in,” Kirishima said,  “it’ll get better with time.” He then looked to the sky and squinted. Aside from the wind, the weather was perfect for flying, especially since this was his first time shifting since he was poisoned with silver.
You watched Kirishima look down to the ground and then crouch, you weren’t exactly sure what he was doing until he stretched his wings and suddenly his form shook. Before your eyes he transformed into a huge crimson dragon. He was much larger than yours, and instead of having just back legs and using his wings as front legs when walking, he had front arms too.
Your eyes widened as he walked forward, the ground seemed to shake under each step till he was eye level with you. He chuffed, causing a hot burst of air to hit your face, making you sputter. Kirishima made a throaty growl, which you thought could have been a laugh.
Kirishima took a few more steps past you, letting your dragon position herself to take off after him. Then he took off, running. The ground  shook after each step and his claws left deep grooves in the ground after every step. Then he bunched his back legs and jumped up, flapping his wings as he took to the sky.
You heard a few children squealing as they ran to the edge of camp to watch Kirishima fly. Your dragon wheezed and moved forward, following Kirishima’s steps before jumping up and following him into the sky.
You frowned, holding onto her spike as the saddle slipped sideways, maybe you didn’t tighten it enough? Nonetheless you followed Kirishima up higher and higher until you were above the clouds.
He seemed happy to be back in his true form. He was darting around the clouds and diving down into some, making them split apart and wisp away in the strong wind.
You smiled, watching him play in the sky. He was sweet, and was easily the kindest person in the clan, besides Midoriya, and maybe Bakugou’s grandmother. It made your heart ache at the thought of betraying Kirishima, which was unsettling. You had only been in the clan for a little over a week and you were already getting attached.
While you were lost in thought, your dragon, obviously surprised to see Kirishima having fun, was curious as to what he was doing, and took off at a speed you’ve never seen her travel before.
“Whoa!” you yelped as you almost got flung off the side of your dragon as she chased after Kirishima, weaving through the clouds.
Kirishima’s red eyes widened with delight and he took a swooping dive down to the ground, and then your dragon followed him.
Your stomach lurched as you flew straight down screaming at the top of your lungs as your legs flew out straight behind you. You had your arms tightly wrapped around your dragon’s spike as she caught up with Kirishima, flying next to him as they dove towards the ground.
Your eyes were watering as you tried to see how close the ground was. However, to your horror you were heading towards a lake. Even through your watery eyes you could make out a few commoners mulling around the water side, now obviously pointing at Kirishima and your dragon racing.
You could see Bakugou sitting at the water's edge with a girl who was talking animatedly but then she pointed at you. He stood up abruptly leaving his suitor to run to the shore of the lake, waving his arms rapidly.
“Kirishima!” you shouted above the roaring wind, not like he could hear you. The water was getting closer and closer by the second and Kirishima pushed himself faster, and your dragon followed suit. They were flying so fast that you had no option but to shut your eyes, they simply wouldn’t stay open.
Suddenly your dragon pulled up, making your legs and body slam back down into the saddle, which was already loose. Your eyes shot open as you scrambled to find your seating but the sudden change in movement had you unbalanced and to your horror the momentum of your body had you falling sideways.
You scrambled to grab onto the straps of the saddle as your hands slipped from the spike you were holding on, but it was futile. You were falling.
At the notice of your absence your dragon quickly turned around flying back down towards you with her back claws outstretched to catch you.
Your eyes were wide as the water came closer and closer. You could hear Bakugou shouting at Kirishima. It didn’t matter though, you would hit the water before anyone could catch you. It probably wouldn’t hurt that bad, you were about thirty feet from the water.
A claw hooked into your shirt just before you hit the water, tearing the tunic you were wearing right from your body. You landed into the water with a grunt, wincing as water shot up your nose.
Bubbles floated up past your face as you opened your eyes briefly, and started paddling towards the surface of the lake. After a few short moments you surfaced sputtering and shaking. Above you your dragon and Kirishima were hovering above the water, making waves with every flap of their wings. “It’s okay, I’m fine. Just go land.”
You watched as the two dragons flew to the shoreline and landed. Kirishima’s form shook and he shrunk back down to his human form, and immediately sprinted into the water shouting apologies.
“Shitty scales!” Bakugou shouted, “get back to the shoreline and watch her dragon, everyone is scared shitless of that thing.” He was referring to the common folk fleeing the opposite direction from your dragon, especially now because she was obviously distressed from losing her rider.
You continued paddling towards the shore, fighting the strong current as best you could. You swam a few times in a pond that would show up after a big rain back home. It wasn’t nearly as deep at this lake, or as clear. You wrinkled your nose at the memory of that pond. It was filthy, and mostly mud and silt, but you were thankful you did swim in it or else you wouldn’t have known how to swim back to shore now.
You huffed, lifting your head up to avoid a wave as you got closer to shore, and then you realized you were now closer to Bakugou who was swimming out to get you. To your horror you glanced over your shoulder to realize that your shirt was floating a good ways away from you, your dragon must have ripped it when she tried to grab you.
With hot cheeks you turned around in the water and paddled back towards your shirt. How humiliating.
“The hell are you doing!” Bakugou shouted as he continued to swim towards you.
“Just go back to shore,” you replied with chattering teeth as you approached your shirt. It was mostly shredded, but at least it would cover your chest.
“You can’t be out that far, damn it,” Bakugou yelled, picking up the pace, “there’s a reason why we don’t swim in this lake, dumbass!”
Just as you were about to grab your shirt, it disappeared under the water followed by a few big bubbles. A sense of dread filled your gut as a large tail poked out of the water and slapped the surface.
Then you turned around as fast as you could and swam towards Bakugou with big eyes. “The hell is in here?” you shouted as a dark shadow started to swim underneath you.
The water rippled next to you and a beast of fish, bigger than Kirishima in his dragon form popped its head up out of the water. It was looking at you with one giant unblinking eye before it ducked back under the water.
You almost froze at the sight of the fish but instead you swam as quickly as you could. You were so focused on getting out of the water that you didn’t even care when you ran right into Bakugou who was getting ready to pull you out.
“You’ve got to be the unluckiest person I’ve ever met,” Bakugou began as he went to push you off his chest. You were clinging to him like some drowned rat.
It was horribly embarrassing that you were pressed into his bare torso with yours, but you wouldn’t dare pull away now that people were starting to gather close to you both. “Whatever, look I need a shirt,” you hissed, looking up at him with warm cheeks.
It was then Bakugou realized the situation he was in, and his ears turned bright red when he looked down at where your chest met the bottom of his own chest. He quickly averted his eyes, swallowing thickly as he yanked off his fur lined cape and held it out. It was soaking wet and heavy as hell but you obviously didn’t care because the moment he took it off you snatched it out of his hand.
“Thanks,” you muttered, quickly glancing up at him as he cleared his throat and gave you a nod.
Kirishima was running towards you with your dragon awkwardly running after him, and he was shouting your name before he came to a halting stop in front of you, “I’m so sorry, I should have never made you fly like that when it was your first time in the saddle, and you almost got eaten by the giant catfish-”
“It’s okay,” you said with a small smile, “it was just an accident, and if I wasn’t in the saddle I definitely would have stayed on. So let’s do it again, yeah?
Kirishima nodded, “I’d like that.”
—------------------
After you had returned to camp you made your way back to your tent to get a new shirt. Your other shirt was more of a loose tunic and the sleeves were long, which was good for when it got cold at night. It was a little small on you though, which was unfortunate, you just would have to avoid lifting your arms above your head so the hem of the shirt wouldn’t lift up.
After your little incident with Bakugou today, you would like nothing more than to see him again, but you had to return his stupid cloak. It was mostly damp now after drying in the sun for the rest of the afternoon, so it wasn’t nearly as heavy as it was before.
As you thought back on the events of the afternoon, you felt your face warm again. There was a strange feeling in your stomach, it felt almost like there was something flapping in your chest. You let out a breath, as you placed the back of your hands against your cheeks to cool them down.
While you continued to walk through camp towards Bakugou’s tent, you happened to walk past someone cursing and then the sound of crashing objects. You tilted your head and moved towards the sound and to your shock it was the queen, Mitsuki.
She was clutching her abdomen and was clearly in pain as she tried to use the hilt of her ax to stand up.
A dark sense of foreboding rushed over you and it was like you felt your mother standing behind you. Her cold hands were wrapped around the top of your shoulders like vulture talons, and she was whispering in your ear.
This is your chance, the queen is alone. No one will know.
The fluttering feeling in your chest dropped like lead in your stomach and you took a step forward. Your hand was shaky as it blindly reached towards a rock on the ground. It wouldn’t be pretty.
You paused, swallowing thickly as Mitsuki swore again. She was panting and sweating, obviously struggling to overcome whatever was causing her to be unable to stand.
Do it! Useless child!
A rush of cold wind pushed past you and ruffled your top, making it rise past your stomach. The scar across your abdomen seemed to ache as your mothers voice rang through your ears again.
You took a step forward, hearing blood roar in your ears as you grabbed the rock. Mitsuki was finally able to stand. She was wheezing almost as she looked down and to your shock she yanked up her own shirt.
It was then you saw a scar identical to yours on her abdomen. The rock fell from your hand and Mitsuki looked up to see you standing in the shadows, she was about to curse you out till you took a step forward and she immediately noticed your scar.
You both looked at each other in silence.
Was her scar from the same person who gave you yours? Surely it had to be, that was your mother’s trademark cut after all.
Mitsuki opened her mouth to speak but her leg buckled again.
This time you rushed forward to grab her arm and held her up. “Here,” you muttered as you wrapped her arm around your shoulder, “where do you need to go?”
“Midoriya,” Mitsuki said through clenched teeth as she eyed you warily.
You nodded as you helped her limp to Midoriya’s tent, and avoided the common folk eating their dinners around campfires in front of their tents.
After a few moments you delivered the queen to Midoriya who rushed her. He thanked you heavily before shutting the tent flap and leaving you alone to your thoughts. You felt like everything you had somehow known was standing on the edge of a knife and for the first time in your life, you didn’t really know what to do.

Sweat dripped off your dewy skin, your heart rate a bit too worrisome for the warrior right in front of you. You concentrated on the task at hand, determination painting your features in glory.
Feel the power within, let it flow through your body to the end of your fingertips, then let it flow into the stem of the flower.
A mantra your mentor and you had been chanting for a while now.
The goal is the stem. Poison it. Keep the rest blooming. That’s it! Keep the petals simultaneously alive.
You smiled in triumph; the stem of the flower seemed to wilt at your will while the petals bloomed. You looked to your mentor in excitement, squaring your shoulders, as a young, bubbly laugh squeaked past your lips.
“I did i-”
“You failed my lady.”
The disappointment was evident in the woman’s face, annoyance flickered through her gaze while she eyed your flower with a frown. You scrunched up your nose in confusion, and looked down as well, your smile dropping into a pout.
The flower laid in your palm, wilted as pathetically as you felt. Another day, another failure with no progress in sight. This was the third time this week where you unsuccessfully killed your flower.
“I tell you all the time, you must concentrate until it’s second nature. Until you can do it with your eyes closed. Distraction can get you killed.”
Lady Midnight was always going on about concentration and distraction, you couldn’t stop the childish snort from escaping. “I thought I had it.” You turned your head and with a defeated sigh dropped the wilted rose into the small pile of other failures.
Daffodils, blue bonnets, daisies, all failures that ended the same way as your current rose.
“Overconfidence can get you killed.” Now you were rolling your eyes.
“It seems at this rate, just about everything will kill me.”
“My lady this is no joking matter! Dragons are fierce and barbaric. They care not for games and chatter. You must be ready to use your magic should you ever encounter one.”
Ah yes, the bane of your existence. The dragon clan. They were your enemy of sorts. At least that is what you had been told for years. Dragons and your clan, the dark elves, had been in wars for years with no end in sight. What started as unity between the two quickly ended in a blood bath centuries later. And they were the reason you had to learn wilting and healing powers every day.
But, if you had it your way, you’d be lying in your bed right now instead of sweating in elven armor. You nodded though, intent to save yourself from a very long lecture about dragons and “We must be prepared to defeat them whenever”.
“Alright then, let’s prepare for weapon training.”
You thought switching gears to another thing would be helpful but you were wrong. Lady Midnight had severely dampened your mood and you could hardly focus on your fight. She yelled that you were too aggressive, too eager to win. The idea was to balance yourself, never bite off more than you could chew – be defensive, offensive, watch your back. Stop, you were too slow, now you were leaving too many openings.
It was a constant cycle of all the things you were doing wrong. And it did little to improve your fighting or mood.
In mere minutes, you found yourself on the lush ground, sticks and leaves stuck to your back as Lady Midnight stood above you with a sword pointed at your neck. You breathed harshly, eyes glaring up at her while anger and fear wracked through your bones.
She looked fierce and ready to kill, always prepared for the worst and never hoping for better. She could kill you if she desired to.
She would make a better elven princess too.
Lady Midnight removed the sword and backed away, putting out a hand to help you up. You took it with a huff and pulled yourself out of a ball of humiliation. The twigs and rocks fell from you, clacking down like a painful reminder of the failure you were. The humiliation of being bested by someone far above your caliber.
“Let’s take a break my lady.”  You nodded and turned away, you refused to let her get a glimpse of how deep your humiliation ran. She bowed, a hand on her chest in a silly recognition of loyalty and then walked away towards the palace to no doubt share with your parents your progress.
With another huff you turned towards the big forest. A walk was in order.
The forest was huge. An understatement but the truth nonetheless. It housed many creatures big and small. It was as beautiful as it was haunting, with trees twice the size of a hundred elves, and flora as beautiful as it was poisonous. Not many outsiders dared try to navigate it. But it was your home.
You followed the pathway, the forest slowly pulled you away from home and into the beautiful nature that it was. Serenity filled your spirit, and the beautiful and calm nature of the atmosphere quelled your thunderous emotions with each step.
The chirps of birds and other creatures calmed your nerves. You sang quietly as you kept walking, the burden from before withering away into nothing.
A little flutter of wings appeared at your side and you smiled widely, unable to stop a childish giggle.
“Hello little friend, did you enjoy my singing?” It chirped excitedly and you laughed. On your walks, your flying friend always appeared and kept you company. You were sure it had something better to do, but it always made you feel relieved to know you had someone to be with in the forest. That you were never alone.
You were lucky you found a friend in a little faerie, counting the blessings of the elves on the day you decided to take a trip out and found it stuck under a branch.  From then on, it appeared whenever you took a walk, fluttering about your face with endless chirps and chatters.
The happy atmosphere ended when the little faerie made a noise and went off the pathway. You were confused at first, it never left your side and certainly never tried to move off the path. You called out, following close behind as it chittered around in a panic. Its colorful wings moved so fast, in one direction and then the next, it almost gave you whiplash. But you followed anyway, shaking the unease as you delved deeper within.
The pathway was there for a reason, it kept you safe from harm and within the safety of your home. Beyond it was uncertainty, a different path stained with blood of the war and the unknown. Enemies, Creatures and the Dragons. You were told to never go off of it if you valued your life.
Yet here you were following your little friend like a lamb being led to slaughter.
You trusted your friend believing it wouldn’t lead you to danger. Although mischievous, faeries were kind to their friends. Loyalty was law. Maybe a friend of theirs was hurt? That would explain the sudden attitude. They were intelligent creatures with keen sensitivity to noises and sights.
It was not long before you found yourself in a clearing and the trees stopped abruptly in a rounded circle. It was beautiful yet odd.The trees acted as a canopy and shielded you from the unyielding heat of the sun with the exception of a few rays that peaked through. The forest floor was green and rocky with tree roots that stuck above the ground. Dead leaves and sticks loitered about, a stark contrast against the vibrant grass and moss that grew in patches.
It was different from the area you knew, rugged compared to your lush green and colorful scenery, although still beautiful nonetheless.
In your distraction of the scenery, you didn't notice there was a lack of buzzing of wings or chatter of the faerie that had mysteriously vanished. Not until you heard a pained, breathless whimper akin to a wounded animal, so small you almost missed it. Your head snapped in its direction, confusion settling in when you eyed a lump of something on the ground. It drew in a slow but agonized breath as if it was frightened to breathe, another quiet whimper permeated the silent forest.
You noticed then, that save for the creature, the forest was eerily silent. No birds, no creatures, not even the wind blew through the trees. It was as if everything was frozen in time, holding its breath for the inevitable to happen. As if it was waiting to welcome home the creature that would return to dust as all the others had before it. It felt like your heart was dropping to your stomach.
You never experienced a death, saw what one would look like. Sure you heard of people dying. You knew people died in the war all the time. But it felt different seeing it before your eyes, to watch something draw near its last breath.
So you rushed forward frantically in your steps. Not on your watch. You could heal it before it was too late! As long as it breathed there was a chance. The gap between you closed in a moment and you landed in a heap by its side. A strangled gasp made its way through your esophagus.
What laid before you was a young green and black dragon with a body mangled in opposite directions and teeth marks woven deep into scales and tissue. Claw marks coupled with the bite marks as if the enemy of the creature kept the dragon down as it tore at its flesh. Blood poured from the wounds in unparalleled amounts, eager to be one with the forest floor. The scent was pungent mixed with the filthy saliva of the beasts that were there prior.
You know what did this. They were gruesome creatures, untamable beasts some dark elves would use for aid in wars.  They were large and black, bodies likened to dead tree bark for skin. Their bites were poisonous, as were their claws, and they were unpredictable. Your father banned the use of them as they could turn on the owner any moment in time. And if you saw one out and about, it was better to kill it quickly or run away before it realized you were there.
They didn’t normally attack dragons as they were much bigger than them, and to go after the younger ones wasn't worth the effort unless they were directed under elven authority. So the owners of it were likely rogues.
The thought sent a chill down your spine.
You didn't know what drove this dragon out of its home nor what compelled it to be on the forest floor, but you wished it had flown higher, at least then it would have been saved from the evils of the forest.
But would he have been? Your clan were at odds with his kind and if he didn't die now, then he would on the battlefield, slain by the hands of your people. And if he lived, sooner or later he would kill your people, and possibly the people you loved.
But perhaps it was better to die in glory surrounded by comrades than alone.
Turmoil warred with the guilt in your heart and tears pricked at your eyes the longer you stared at his bloodied state.
The young dragon struggled to take another breath, its eyes closed as another broken whimper rumbled through his body.
You decided then. Come what may, you would rather meet the dragon on the battlefield, or become its friend one day. Maybe then you could stop this worthless war together.
“I’m going to heal you,” you whispered hoarsely.
It didn't move but you saw the barest of flutters from its eyelids. Good, it heard you at least. You set to work, and put your hands on the wounded scales, ignoring the queasiness from the blood and the twinge of sadness in your heart.
Clear your mind and feel the power within. Let it flow through your body to the end of your fingertips then into the dragon.
You chanted in your head over and over again, and willed the power to flow like you needed it to. Perspiration tickled at the base of your forehead and neck but you didn't dare break concentration.
Let it flow.
What began as a flowing stream of power dwindled quickly.
You cried at the lack of power, the weakened state your powers were subjected to. You must have used too much during practice. You wouldn't be able to heal the frail dragon.
No no no! Clear mind.
Yet your body betrayed you, became weak to the excessive use of power beyond your limit. It felt like you were wringing the remnants of water from a stick, the tiniest drop that took forever to drop into your mouth.
Your head began to pound as black dotted your vision.
No, no! Keep going.
Your mind screamed for you to continue, yet your body could not. Instead you were forced to lean over the dragon, sniffling weakly as the pain in your head grew worse.
“I’m sorry, so so sorry,” the words were slurred into its scales, your tears mixed with its blood.
Fear set in as you began to lose consciousness. The last thing to be heard was an earth shattering roar as your bloodied hands fell limp at your sides.
Another dragon was coming.
Tumblr media
Your eyes opened slowly, working hard against the darkness that surrounded you. You shot up with a start, eyes shifting about in search of your surroundings.
The dragon, where was it?
Where were you?
Confusion and disorientation laced your vision and you couldn't stop from holding your head with a pained moan as a throbbing ache took form behind your eyes.
The only thing you could make out was that you were no longer in the forest.
“Oh good, you’re up.”
You turned your head to the source and groaned. You didn't notice someone had entered, and that someone was your mother.
“What happened to the dragon?”
“You should be worrying about yourself, you almost got yourself killed.”
She was going to play it this way you see. It felt as if a different headache was forming but you did your best to fight off the impatience that wanted to slip out.
“Mother please, I need to know if it survived.”
She came close to what you now realized was a bed. You were in your room in fact, your eyesight finally adjusted so you could take in the familiarity of the space. She sat on the right side of you and you heard a swish of a hand before a dim lighting filled the room. You hissed, and rubbed your eyes, mumbling grumpily.
“Forgive me for worrying about the safety of my child over a lowly dragon.” You didn't miss the sarcasm that laced her tone. However you said nothing, and chose to stare at her in irritated silence.
“Teenagers,” she mumbled, her hands reaching up to rub at her temples.
“I don’t know if it’s dead or alive. He might’ve been breathing when my familiar grabbed you but I was a little more preoccupied with making sure you made it back safely before its kin found you.”
While you wanted to be annoyed by her dismissive nature, you couldn't fault her for putting you first. It was you that wanted to make peace with the enemy, not your mother who was entirely indifferent to their existence.
You leant back in your bed and stared at the ceiling. It was high and arched with intricate, but regal, designs that flowed throughout. It seemed long and never ending.
“I tried to heal him," you stated after a while, an obvious statement but one you needed to get out.
“I didn’t want- couldn’t take the thought of something dying that horribly in front of me.”
You sniffled then, nose tingling with thick emotion as you sought to wipe the tears that threatened to spill over.
“But I couldn’t even manage that. I’m weak, a disgrace to our people.”
Your mother’s gaze softened then, and pain pierced her heart as you fell apart. You had always been a sensitive child, and while you never backed down from a challenge or fight, you didn’t possess a warrior's spirit. Your hope for a better future shined brighter. You seemed to take after her when she was young and naive.
But while hers was snuffed out at a young age, she found she couldn’t do the same to you. At least for now. If change needed to start somewhere then perhaps it could begin with you. Which is why she chose her next words carefully.
“There’s a chance it may survive. If its kin made it in time then they should be able to nurse it back to health. That would not have been possible without your interference.”
You inhaled deeply. She probably wanted to reassure you to quiet your cries. But on the other hand, you remembered hearing a dragon’s roar before you passed out. It’s likely she was correct. Your body relaxed and you nodded in acceptance.
“Okay, thank you.”
“Yes well,” she began, standing up with a sigh as she dusted at the dress that hugged her figure. She was a beautiful elf, standing tall and proud with toned muscles that rippled under her dress. Your mother was as fierce as she was elegant, years of a warrior turned royalty honed her into the perfect queen she was today.
“You should get some rest. We have much to discuss in the morning, starting with you being grounded.”
She grinned at your outcry before she quickly disappeared out of the room and into her own. It was time to talk to the king about some things.
Tumblr media
A few years have passed since that fateful encounter, five years to be exact. You never found out if the dragon survived. You often wondered what it was doing and if it was okay. You had hoped it was thriving somewhere, wanted to believe all you did was not in vain.
However, you couldn’t spend your time in the clouds any longer. You were a young woman now and progressed no farther than you did when you were fourteen years old. Humiliation burned through your soul as you left the premises of your home.
The burden of your duties were too heavy to shoulder at the moment so you walked along the path and slowly made your way to your hiding spot. It was a beautiful forest bend, a circumference of a circle with trees and rocks only parted by the cascade of a waterfall into the riverbed.
Lady Midnight brought you to the spot during the time you were grounded, revealing that she found it long ago as a solace of sorts. But since she was so busy, she didn't have time to visit it anymore.
You knew she wanted to help cheer you up, since you were grounded with the restriction from being too far from home. Any movement solicited a guard to appear by your side. Lady Midnight assured your parents beforehand that you’d be safe there and it was not far from the kingdom. You have been going there ever since.
You made it there soon enough, passing through the archway that consisted of many branches, and into the clearing of the falls. A smile found its way to your lips as you approached, anticipation settled in your veins the moment you saw the waterfall connect with the bed.
You approached a rocky and ragged area before you peeled off your armor, corset and leather pants. Next came the undergarments. Wasting no time you made your way into the water and sighed  contentedly once in. You traveled deeper within, deciding to dunk yourself underneath once you reached a shallow area. You swam until you made it to the other side, resurfacing on the underside of the waterfall. And as you stood under the sprays of the falls your body sagged in relief. The sprays never failed to wash away your bitterness nor your pain. Never failed to cleanse all the negatives that were etched into your spirit. Temporary healing as you called it but one that was more than welcomed when your demons became too great to deal with.
You marveled at the clear blue water that surrounded you, moving your hand through it when a giggle erupted. The beauty and serene moment of the droplets that danced on your skin did wonders to lift your mood. So much so, you hadn’t noticed another person approaching the falls or heard the splashing of water. It wasn’t until you noticed a watery shadow near, that your eyes collided with a pair of green irises as dark as moss but as vibrant as a tree faerie’s wings. The young man looked as surprised as you felt. In your five years of coming here, you never met so much as another soul besides the time Lady Midnight introduced you to the area.
Yet here he was before you, present in all his glory. As you were. The realization hit when his eyes gazed lower for a fraction of a second before a pinkish hue tinted his cheeks and he turned around quickly.
“I am so sorry,” he gasped, words rushing out before he could finish saying them. “I’m not a pervert, I didn’t know someone would be here! I come here all the time, I swear!”
You watched as his hand -scarred hand at that- reached up to scratch at his nape sheepishly. His words continued to fire off as he apologized profusely. If this was another situation, you probably would have cursed him to hell and back. But you couldn’t find it in you to be upset when he seemed to beat himself up over it.
“I can come back at a later time-”
“Wait, don’t go,” you called out between a giggle, disguising it behind your hand. “I’m not upset and I don’t mind sharing the falls. I won’t be leaving anytime soon anyway.”
The young man stopped mid-step before he turned back in relief. “Are you sure, I didn’t mean to stare, the uh water droplet caught my attention.”
“Not a pervert, got it.”
He winced and mumbled, “That didn’t help my case huh?”
You shook your head with a chuckle. “You can stay,” you reaffirmed, “it should be big enough for the both of us.”
You weren’t kidding, the perimeter of the falls was one similar to a gigantic disk. It could hold 50 dark elves and a few fully grown dragons comfortably.
He nodded, and a thankful smile crossed his features. “Thank you, I'll keep my distance over there,” he stated, pointing across the waterbed.
You nodded, deciding to go to an area of your own. It was about time you chill on the rocks and let the warm sun beam on your skin. As the man swam to his area and went underwater, you decided to swim to your clothes and swiftly put on your undergarments. While it didn’t bother you that he might’ve gotten an eyeful of your tits, you didn’t fancy spending your entire time naked in front of a stranger. It didn’t help that he was becoming as red as the ripest strawberries you had eaten at breakfast that morning. You headed back into the water, sighing happily once you found a nice rock to sit on. The lower part of your body was still submerged underwater while your top half soaked up the warm rays of sunlight. It was nice and comfortable, the final traces of negativity zapped out of your body.
However, your desire to mind your business didn't last long. The man across unconsciously grabbed your attention. You didn't miss the way his body moved underneath the surface. How quickly he went from one area of a rock, to the base of the waterfall, then back to his side again. Finally he traveled to the floor before kicking off and resurfacing, thick, black and green hair stuck to his forehead and in his eyes.
“You’re of Dragon lineage.”
It wasn’t hard to notice. His build was brawn, but not overly so, and solid with a strong and confident physique. His body was not without scars as well, a big, long gnash stood in contrast to his tanned skin on his chest while three smaller ones adorned his back.  Only a clan such as theirs would have brutal scars such as those. They were the only ones who would wear such a badge of honor.
His eyes snapped to you, tense for a moment before his body relaxed slightly. He was still on guard but sensed no ill will. You didn’t state his identity with disdain but rather a factual statement, speaking it into existence as if it was a taboo subject.
He stood there for a moment, deciding something before quickly going under once again. He swam to you in a short amount of time before resurfacing closer, but still a respectable amount of distance between you two. Then the young man squared his shoulders and nodded.
“I am. You’re a Dark Elf.”
Likewise, it was obvious by your ears and physique. Toned muscles under soft skin but more pliant than he would ever be. Your features were sharper as well, striking with an elegant aura. Not to mention your scent, odd with the powers you possessed but earthly.
It was your turn to square your shoulders, head held high while you looked him in the eye.
“Indeed I am. Does that bother you?”
He shook his head,  a friendly smile taking over while he held his hands up in surrender.
“Of course not,” his smile widened and he came a bit closer. “How can I have qualms with someone who saved my life five years ago?”
Your eyes widened in shock and you were looking at him as if he had grown a third head.
“What?”
“You did, didn't you? You were the elf that saved me.”
His tone was nonchalant but friendly while his eyes raged in unspoken turmoil. Of what you didn’t know. You could only make out the sparkle of gratitude that softened his boyish features. However, you were still reeling from the revelation. It made sense though, the barest inkling of recognition you felt from him even though you never met. Your curiosity about his scars. He was the dragon from all those years ago. You couldn't explain the feeling, the shock that melted into relief, knowing that he is alive and well or the happiness in knowing your powers worked that day. Perhaps your mother was right then.
“It was me,” you replied hesitantly, unable to say anything else.
“How did y- ah nevermind,” you knew the answer as soon as you spoke. You knew for a fact he didn’t see you; his eyes were shut due to excruciating pain. So it would make sense if he caught a whiff of your scent, with him having a good sense of nose and you were practically all over him.
He hummed in response confirming your suspicion. He then looked to a rock near you in question and you nodded. With a smile, he got on it and sighed out a thanks, his face immediately tipping back to feel the warm rays on his skin.
You did the same, wanting to enjoy your own moment of serenity.
“So,” you speak up after a while. “What is your name dragon?”
“Izuku Midoriya!” He was cheerful when he stated it, a proud beckon to his identity. You expected nothing less from a dragon.
You repeated his name, noting it has a nice sound to it, in which he responded with a soft, “Thank you,” and pinkish cheeks. You gave your name in return and he repeated it, light and thoughtful lacing his tone. He looked pleased, saying your name slowly with a slight drag of your name.
“Pretty name.” He mumbled. Your ears twitched and you fought the warmth that threatened to spread throughout your body. While your keen sense of smell was lacking, your sense of hearing was sharper, if you bothered to pay attention that is. And since he was so close, you picked up on it right away. Yet you said nothing, decided to let the compliment pass and the feeling inside your stomach settle down.
Yet as you both sat there, you realized the unfamiliar feeling never settled. If anything, it slowly grew the more you two talked. After your simple introduction, it switched to other questions. You learned he came after a day of hard labor, harnessing his skills and weaponry. You admitted to doing the same, a fellow warrior in training yourself.
His hobby was collecting things. Trinkets, antiques, anything that held value in a world different than his own. You learned his favorite food was katsudon which led to an amusing tale about stealing extra as a child.
However, your favorite thing you learnt so far, was that he lit up like fireflies at night when he talked about something he loved.  That his eyes shone like faerie dust when he talked about the many fawns and creatures he's encountered in the forest and beyond it. His notebook was filled with information about them. You were all too aware of the childlike wonder he held, that matched your own in so many ways.
So you were all too willing to share your own knowledge about the animals and magical creatures in favor of bringing his notebook the next time. You were eager to learn about the world and creatures you didn't know.
Additionally, you learned he was an attentive man. He was focused whenever you spoke, interested when you shared details about yourself -your likes, dislikes, your own passions. Equally, he asked questions as if he wanted to soak up all and any information you would give. It made you feel unfamiliar things, exposed in ways you didn’t think was possible and you enjoyed it far more than you should.
No one ever listened to you with rapt attention before. Not many cared about your opinions or beliefs either. Of course it was not all one-sided, you paid your interest back in kindness, listened to his excited mumblings in earnest and paid back his questions with your own. It felt equal, both giving and receiving without any judgment for who each other were. You were two people getting to know one another, blossoming a beautiful new experience. All too soon, your time was cut short – the sun was setting and you knew you both needed to get home.
“It was nice meeting you,” he stated after a bit of silence as you both stood putting on your clothes and armor.
“Likewise, I had fun today,” you replied. It was the truest thing you had spoken so far. After a shitty day of duties and training, you didn’t think this day would have a complete turnaround. You were proven wrong.
Izuku smiled, his emerald irises closed and a hand scratching at the back of his neck. Your heart skipped a beat but you willed yourself to ignore it. Another thing to add to your lists of favorites and new things learned.
His smile could rival the sun.
“M-maybe we could meet up again? If you want of course. Or not. Totally up to you!” His hopeful stutter fell into a ramble and you laughed as a pink tint painted his cheeks.
“I did say you’d have to bring your journal next time,” you teased, “Let’s meet in a couple days from now, same time okay?”
He nodded eagerly and fast and you had to force down another laugh.
“Besides, you must convince me you’re not a pervert,” you laughed then, when Izuku’s face morphed into one of horror and the pink on his cheeks became a shade darker.
You waved goodbye as he sputtered, arms stuck out in a sporadic wave fashion, an attempt to stop and plead his case.
"I'm not!"
Humming, you turned away with a grin curling your lips. You began walking towards the entrance, a little happy pep to your step.
"Prove it, dragon."
"But how?!" You chuckled at his loud exasperation, feeling lighter than you had in months. Looked like he would be easy to tease. He was cute.
"That's for me to find out," you called back, your footsteps quickly widened the gaps between you both.
You didn't see the look of disbelief in his eyes or the grin that threatened to split his lips. He shook his head, a rumbling chuckle erupted from his chest and his heart beat a little faster.
He couldn't wait to see what your next encounter would bring.
Tumblr media
True to your promise, you both met a couple days later. He arrived slightly earlier than you, waiting to greet you with his notebook in hand and a big eager smile on his face.
Your wave was shy, an equally big smile plastered on your face as well.
"Hi," Izuku said softly, mouth running dry as his eyes roamed over your frame, taking in the simple attire you donned for today. It was a simple dress, comfortable but hugged your frame quite nicely.
You eyed his frame in kind, took in the tunic that accentuated his build, hugging his broad shoulders and chest while his trousers stretched over his muscled thighs and legs.
You both dressed vastly different from your first meeting.
"Hi," you answered, body warming once you realized how breathless you sound compared to him.
"I came before you so that proves it, I’m not a pervert!"
Once again, you ignored the signs in your body in favor of grinning like a fool, a playful yet thoughtful expression that had Izuku in alarm.
"Really? We're here at the same time which means you’ll see me undress,” you teased, trailing off at the implication.
And as you expected, Izuku’s face burned a dark shade of pink, he opened his mouth like a gaping fish out of water. You broke  out into a fit of giggles, trying and failing to cover your mouth when he threw a playful glare in your direction.
“You’re so mean,” his lips puckered into a pout, his voice lowered and playfully wavering. Yet it made your heart flutter and your breath hitch in your throat. You cleared it, deciding to give the poor man a break.
“Alright, I concede, you win. Shall we take a look at your notebook first?”
Just as quickly, mirth and excitement exploded in his eyes and he dragged you to the same spot you were last time. You both made quick work of undressing, only leaving on your undergarments, then settled on the rocks. With your feet in the water, you sat close, peering at his notebook together. He opened it and you gasped in amazement- there were many sketches of unknown creatures, filled to the brim of notes, facts and random thoughts.
You spent time going through each page, listening to his experiences eagerly, laughing at some of his silly failures, cheering over his accomplishments. And in return, you shared what you knew. The different faeries in the forest– big and small, the shadow creatures that roamed the foggy swamps and even the dark creatures that were familiars for your kind. He listened dutifully and jotted down notes with your permission.
You both stayed like that for a while until the need to be under the surface of the water won out.
“You know how I said you won that argument,” you started, eyes squinting as you looked at the barest shimmer of a rainbow cast over the water.
Izuku’s eyes narrowed, a brow rising in suspicion. “Yeah?”
“Well,” you popped up on the rock, stretching before you tossed him a mischievous grin. “I lied.”
You jumped into the semi depths of the enclosure just as he yelled, “OH, that does it!” Your laugh was light and boisterous before you hit the surface. Another splash followed and you found yourself swimming away from him in quick strokes. Your laughter rang in the air once your head was above water.
“You can’t catch me Izuku!”
Your voice rang like a siren while his laughter penetrated the atmosphere.
“I’ll catch you!” You didn’t hear the promise in his tone. Failed to realize the smoldering look he gave your retreating form. A certain fondness was already taking over his form from the few interactions between you. You were a forbidden treasure, one he wanted to learn more about and if you allowed him to, keep. But for now, he would enjoy his time and explore you day by day.
He swam after you, quickening his pace with the attempt to catch you. He got close enough to purposely brush over your calf, grinning like a Cheshire cat when you squealed and kicked away from him. That went on for some time until you both were exhausted and found yourself back on the rock, spending the rest of your time air drying in the sun while you talked about everything and nothing.
It wasn’t until the setting sun came when you both departed, promising to visit each other again in two days' time. And when it came to pass, you often met with teasing and laughter or rambling conversations before he chased after you in the water. You’d sometimes splash at him as a deterrent, cheesy grins and happiness radiating off of you like the droplets on your skin. Each time, he’d brush a part of you that left you breathless and swimming in anticipation, both knowing he could grab you anytime he wanted. He never did though, only letting you get away with a promise of catching you one day.
You resisted the urge to tell him you couldn’t wait for that day.
And as the days slowly turned into weeks, then months, did two turned into seeing each other every day. You learned more about him as time went on. That the freckles decorating his cheeks twinkled like stars whenever you were in close proximity and they shined like diamonds when water droplets kissed them.
You found out when all your chasing finally bloomed in fruition, when you suddenly found yourself in his embrace. Izuku had finally caught you, arms wrapped securely around your waist before you could go underwater. He didn’t let you get too far, his quick and powerful strokes caught up to you easily. You both breathed heavily as his front pressed against your back and his arm was secure around your stomach. You didn’t dare move, heart beating hard against your ribcage as butterflies fluttered in your stomach in time with the aching beat.
“I got you,” he uttered next to you, his head lowered and his voice was raspy while his lips nearly pressed against the shell of your ear. You shivered in his hold, breath caught in your chest while your heart seemed to fall under his spell.
You turned around slowly, your chest a breath away from his, mere centimeters from being pressed against each other. Izuku watched you intently under the curtain of his hair, the droplets falling down like tears from the clouds, traveling down his jaw and neck until it became one with the pool surrounding you two.
Your hands moved to push the mop of his hair back before your fingertips travelled over his forehead, over the curve of his nose to the outline of his freckles. Then to his cheeks, you explored his face gingerly and he leaned into your touch, never once parting or saying a word. The fondness in his eyes talked enough and the way his grip secured you to him told you that it wasn’t a one sided crush.
“Zuku,” you breathed, your hand finding itself woven to the back of his head, fingers locking themselves within the wet tresses.
He leaned forward as if captured by your every move, humming his acknowledgement as his gaze fell to your lips.
“Princess,” it was a low murmur that barely managed to reach past his lips but it caused you to inhale sharply nonetheless.
Two new names sealed your fate together. Your breaths mingled as he leant down, noses brushing in soft tandem. He didn’t move an inch closer, as if waiting for you to deny him or ask for a reprieve.
“Kiss me.”
His dancing freckles were the last thing you saw before your lips connected and you came to the realization that the feeling of his lips might be your favorite thing ever. His lips were slow and gentle, exploring your own with rapt eagerness. He guided your lips with his own, parting them to swipe his tongue in for a taste of heaven.
A sound converged but neither could tell who was the culprit– both minds hazy at the newfound euphoria. The kiss slowly transformed to one of heat, a dizzying one that felt like an inferno starting in the pit of your stomach that traveled to the ache between your legs.
You both parted with a gasp, your hands tightening in his hair while his lips made use of your jaw. With each kiss, he left your skin burning in its wake and you yearned for more. Anything to dull that addicting feeling.
Yet you wanted him to do anything to keep it going.
"Please,” you begged, not sure what you were asking for. You only knew he could provide some sort of relief, in ways you could not.
Izuku groaned then, a rumble deep in his chest that sounded similar to a growl. He parted from your skin, eyes hooded as he took in your debauched state. He had hardly done anything yet you looked as wrecked as he felt. Lips swollen and beautiful irises gazed back at him, so full of need for him. How can he say no when you look so pretty begging like that?
“Okay baby, I want to make you feel good. Can I please you?”
You nodded with enthusiasm and if it was another time, he would have laughed at how cute you were. But a need was forming deep inside of him, to either claim or taste you. Preferably both. But he decided to focus on the latter.
He moved you both to the nearest rock, easily setting you down before slotting himself between your legs as he dived in for another kiss– caging you between him and the rock. This one was more needy, a lively dance that Izuku took control of. You melted, and he greedily drank up your whimpers, as he tasted the crevices of your mouth once more. He was exploring each area as if he was trying to commit every inch of you to memory.
You wouldn’t be surprised if he was.
You broke it off this time, followed by a string of spit that kept you tethered like the string of fate. Izuku dove down to your skin once again– kissed along your jaw, to your throat then shoulder, lips parted to leave a piece of him into your skin. You couldn’t stop the pleasured moans from spilling past your lips, didn’t want to. The more his lips touched you, the more you became greedy for more.
His hand found your waist and traveled upward until they reached your bra. His thumb ghosted over the pebbled nipple that puckered against the fabric. You jerked in his hold, a gasp and a moan struggled to leave you.
“Need you,” you say, your back arched to chase the feel of his fingers.
He inhaled, his emerald eyes darkening. “I wanted to take my time tasting every inch of you but I can’t when you beg me like that.”
You said nothing, only watched him as he moved down your body, pressing kisses over your exposed chest, covered tits, then all the way to your thighs. He placed your legs over his shoulder, brought you closer to the edge as he leaned in, gaze heavily on you as he kissed the inside of them until his nose nudged against the soaked fabric kissing the outlips of your pussy.
He moaned, the scent of you strong and calling to him like a water nymph to a human. The primal urge inside of him growled in delight, excitement licked at his spine as his eyes dilated into slits. His eyesight became sharper as did the heightened senses of his nose. By your gasp of surprise he knew it happened, his dragon side woven itself to him, into one being to taste something so forbidden, something he was not supposed to have. He kissed you through your panties before he slipped a finger in to pull it to the side, his eyes finally left your pretty face to gaze on the treasure before him. Your cunt was bare for him to see and he had to ignore the strong urge to sit you on his cock.
“You have a pretty pussy, princess,” he breathed, eyebrows furrowed as he took you in. He was mesmerized by the juices that clung to your pussy lips. You were so wet and all for him. The dragon inside of him roared in delight.
“Please.” He heeded your plea and relented, kissing your sticky lips before his tongue parted your folds to taste you. You cried out as he growled low and deep, the vibration caused your thighs to twitch in sensitivity. Your hand shot out to tangle in his hair, tugging as he nuzzled in your pussy.
If Izuku thought the taste of your mouth was heaven, then your pussy was nirvana. His tongue swiped through your folds, prodded at your little hole before going up to circle your clit. He took his time tasting you, seeing what made you twitch or what made you tug on his hair as your lower half tried to grind against his tongue. Your moans were of sweet melodies, your cries of his name harmonic.
He wasn’t quiet himself as the taste of your sweet cunt on his palette had him moaning in ecstasy. You tasted so good, he couldn’t help the way his tongue sped up with your whines, couldn’t stop himself from slurping up all the juices your poor little cunt had to offer. Nor did he stop when he elongated his tongue, circling your pretty hole before he dipped in. The sound he made was guttural and it had you sobbing in pleasure, hair tugging harshly while tears sparkled on your eyelashes like glitter.
“Zuku!”
His eyes snapped to yours and his cock throbbed. There you were before him back arched while your other hand scrambled for purchase that wouldn’t be found. You were so fucking cute. He took your hand in his, while the other kept you spread and his finger found your throbbing clit and rubbed it. All the while, he stuffed the rest of his tongue inside your dripping cunt, searching until his tongue brushed against a soft spot that had your pussy clamping on his tongue and your thighs closing around his head with fierce shakes.
Izuku's mouth was glued to you, his long tongue fucked into you while he timed the rubbing of his thumb with the buckle of your hips. You greedly fucked yourself on him as he coaxed you into climax. He kept you locked to him, hands interlocked when you seized with a loud cry, cunt fluttering on his tongue while you milked him for all he’s worth. He slurped up your juices like a starved man, his rumbles similar to a purr as he slowly pulled away. His tongue transitioned back to its regular form and he kissed your pussy a final time. He put your panties back in place before rising.
Your hands pulled at him until he was between your legs and you pulled him in for a kiss, legs wrapped tight around him.  You both whimpered, from the taste of you on his lips and the fact his hard cock made itself home, pressing hot and heavy against you. The thickness of him through his own briefs parted your pussy lips with the head nudging at your sensitive clit.
Izuku broke from your lips with a pained moan, rutting his hips against you. He was so hard, he wasn’t sure how long he could last. But the friction of your clothes and hot cunt felt like a beacon of light for him to follow.
“Touch me,” he begs, voice ragged with endorphins entering his brain. You complied, your hands were eager to touch him, seeking to bring much pleasure as he did to you.
Your touch was feather light and soft, trailing down his toned chest then stomach until it played with the top of his boxer briefs. Wasting no time, you pushed it down as much as you could before your hand wrapped around his cock. It was a bit long yet thick and girthy, your fingers failed to wrap around the whole thing.
Izuku hissed out a choked breath, body tensing as he leant into your touch– his cock twitching as precum decorated the pretty pink head.
“F-fuck,” he gasped, rutting in your hand as you pumped him experimentally, enthralled with the way the pre paints your hand when you grazed over the tip before using it as lube. The rumble in his chest began again and the slits in his eyes returned. Izuku's body was practically slumped against yours as you continued to stroke his cock.
“Good girl, stroke my cock just like that,” he groaned, lips finding purchase on your skin. He kissed wherever he could, his mind shutting down with pleasure as your scent enveloped him.
“Does it feel good?”
“So fucking good, princess.”
He wasn’t lying. Your hands were so much softer and smaller than his. And the way you touched him with so much care yet curiosity had his balls tingling. Your hands were slightly clumsy but eager to please him. He wasn’t going to last long.
“You have a pretty cock Zuku, can I taste it next time?”
He cursed loudly and nodded with a gulp. If he wasn’t so close to shooting his cum over your hands, he would let you in this moment if you allowed it. But he continued to fuck your fist in earnest, moaning how perfect your hand felt.
“Faster,” he choked out, “Gonna c-cum!” you perked up, a big smile on your face while your hand moved faster. You watched his cock leak, a continuous flow that stained your hands until your thumb swiped over the sensitive slit.
“Please, I want to make you feel good,” you said softly, coaxing him with pleas and your own praises. His own pleas bled into your own as he fucked your hand sloppily.
“Fuck fuck fuck, princess!” he cried as he came hard, his cock twitching violently as his cum painted your hand in hot spurts. You didn't stop until he was spent and his hand covered yours, whining in sensitivity.
You removed your hand from his and brought your fingers to your lips, tasting the sticky substance. Salty with a twang of sweetness. Not unpleasant.
Izuku made a sound that was a cross between a groan and growl before he brought you in for another kiss. It was slow and gentle, the fiery passion that was before now turned into one of contentment.
Both of your juices mingled and mixed together creating an addictive concoction on your tongues. You took your time, tasting each other, unwilling to part from the magical atmosphere. But when you did, it was with a sigh and your eyes were closed with your foreheads pressed together. You bathed in the silence letting the moment drift between you until it eventually evaporated.
“You taste good.”
Izuku sputtered and you felt the heat roll off of him in waves as he blushed.
“Did you have to say that,” he grumbled playfully, “Way to ruin the moment.”
“You’re too cute to not rile up,” you giggled breathlessly.
“Yeah well, so do you,” he murmured. “The sweetest thing I’ve ever tasted. How addicting,” he whispered between each kiss, sealing your comeback to the back of your throat before you had a chance to respond.
You relished in his kisses a bit longer, smiling against his lips. You stayed like this for a while, intertwined with one another. Finally, you parted with one last kiss.
“I have to go,” you mumbled, saddened by the realization of the sun beginning to set. He nodded solemnly, his hands cupped your face as his thumbs rubbed along your cheek.
“I won’t be able to make it for a couple days.”
“Oh,” you didn't hide the confusion nor disappointment. It wasn’t like him to skip a day. Or two.
“I have to travel to meet with a neighboring clan,” he reassured softly, “I’ll be back in two days time, like we used to do yeah?”
“Okay, two days.”
“In two days. It will be here before you know it. I’ll even bring a present to make up for my transgression.”
He laughed when your eyes lit up, excitement bloomed at the thought of him bringing back a souvenir.
You both parted slowly, removing yourselves from one another so you could cleans yourselves as best as you could. Then you put on your clothes and parted a final time with a kiss and a promise of seeing each other soon.
You left with happiness in your hearts and anticipation in your veins. You’re excited to see him again, excited for whatever present he brings, but most importantly, excited to be in his arms again.
Izuku was the same, excited for his next encounter with you; to hold you and see your beautiful smile. And as he left the waterfall with a contented smile, he promised himself that the next time you met, he would ask you to be his.
Little did you both know, today would be the last time you saw each other.

Just A Silly FanFic Writer! My Masterlist
Hello and welcome to my Tumblr account. I post all my writings in Fanfiction, A03 & Wattpad. Everything is under my user id Thiefoflight68.
I consider myself a girl but use She/They as I am pansexual. I generally write Fanfiction, play Dungeons & Dragons and walk on the beach all the time with my dog listening to music for my fics. I love music and try to put some good songs into my stories to help get the vibe of the scene. I do try to keep characters as canon as possible but I like to change up personalities so that it's not always the same for my readers (and myself). I only write MHA at the moment. I've also started doing Fem Reader Inserts and am enjoying those.
It's finally happened - I wrote a fanfic that is not MHA. A smutty Omegaverse one shot for a challenge of MCU
Current WIPs:
I am SO excited to be back to a Baku/Deku again. This time going Fantasy and Western AUs!
The Kingdom of the Six Pillars - Being pulled into another world through a magic portal only happens in stories, right? Not for Izuku Midoriya. Finding himself in a strange realm, he has been brought to the Kingdom of the Six Pillars as a Magical Transfer. This world only is able to survive by the magic created between a bonded pair of a Transfer and a Pillar. Except Transfers must have magic to be bonded and as Izuku steps into the dark water, it shows... nothing. Now stuck in this world for as long as it takes for a bonded pair to form, Izuku decides to explore and discover the world around him.
Second Chance Ranch - When life hasn’t gone the way you wanted, shouldn’t you get a second chance? Bakugou found himself trying to get a job to restart after being released from prison but fate had other ideas. A chance meeting brought him to the Midoriya Family Ranch, also known as Second Chance Ranch by the ex-convicts that had made a new life there. But is he the only one needing a second chance? Destiny seems to have brought him here to be the rescuer as much to be rescued.
My Current Works:
One Shots -
Broken Heat - MCU Bucky Barnes x Sam Wilson. Omegaverse plot bunny challenge.
A Cowboy in Chaps - A fun Sero x Reader off of my new Western AU Second Chance Ranch (not yet posted).

BAKUGOU X READER HEADCANNON FOR MY LOVELY WRITERS
im too delusional for using a tollywood movie to give me a bakugou x reader headcannon but hear me out. Okay so in a past fantasy au life where deku bakugou and the rest of them either own a realm within asian or work for their king/queen. bakugou is prince of the dragon rhealm (obvs) with kiri being his personal dragon. And then there’s you gonna make the reader indian cus why not do it for my south asians but your the princess of a much smaller realm. I’d like to think how the two of u meet is cus suki is travelling around asia as a punishment by his mum for idk fucking something up ( maybe beating up someone from the todoroki family lol ) and so when he’s visiting india he’s near ur realm. And whilst we’re outside your kingdom there’s a few bandits being menaces to a nearby village tryna rob families of their gold and hurt the women. And suki thinks of interrupting but kiri stops him for a moment saying this could cause a fallout with the realms cus apparently this intefers w other peoples business ( crazy ik ) so whilst suki is like arguing w kiri he hadn’t noticed your carriage door open. Only when a shawl sort of waves up and down attracting many of the bandits does he start to focus on you. He sees how the rich silk dresses your skin, the gold jewellery shining under the sun. But damn that shawl he cant see your face. Until a sword pierces through the shawl stabbing three of the bandits. From the cut on ur shawl he sees ur eyes first ( if you guys havent clocked this is devasenas entrance from baahubali i usggest yall watch it ) and from then on he sees your whole face as you fight against the bandits successfully winning.Long story short yall fall in love u find out hes this big prince. sick. except suki gets a message back from his mum telling him to bring you back for dabi so that you can be his wife before he is to return shortly. Ofc u get pissed suki knows his mum however does not have a choice if she is to maintain the peace amongst all realms of else it can cause a huge war. he says he will only bring u as a guest back to his home to which u agree. again long story short baahubali 2 story i suggest yall watch it. but yeh no so basically u go to sukis as a guest not as a potential wife, yell at dabi for his misogynistic view of love, find yourself being the catalyst for a major war w basicaally all the league of villains againt mha main cast. Someway along the line ur kidnapped by dabi raped horribly, tortured blah blah blah. when everyone meets at the battle, youre thrown to the floor for all to see your state. bakugou swears to kill dabi which u both do together, ur given basic soldier clothing after suki coaxed u to take rest instead u reply with “ i fight” but as your both walkign to each other near the end of the battle shiggy crushes bakugous heart. suki falls on top of u, u cry like how wanda did over her brother falling to ur knees before being shot by arrows and dying too. PAST LIFE DONE. so now in the current mha world u and suki r both well known heroes but ur like also top 2 in india but ur now moving to japan for a long term mission at a hero conference ur hand brushes against suki which reminds him a bit about his past life tho he cant see ur face from his memory. when he turns to see who brushed his hand he finds himself in a crowd with so many possibilities. u guys can take it from there
