"Unsheathe your claws."

"What?" Wolfbite's gaze snapped away from Bearspring. Surely, she had misheard Ravenstar.

The tom let out a soft sigh, shaking his head as if disappointed. "Have you not noticed how ShallowClan plagues our borders? Would you fight with claws sheathed when a ShallowClan warrior lunges for your throat?"

"I--of course not." Wolfbite glanced at Bearspring. The she-cat's gaze was impassive, betraying nothing. "But Bearspring is my clanmate. Surely-"

"Surely?" Ravenstar tilted his head, gaze placid. His tail swished ominously. "Do you know better than me, Wolfbite? Better than your leader?"

"No." Wolfbite lowered her gaze. "Of course not."

"Good. You may continue sparring. I will observe."

Wordlessly, Wolfbite focused her attention on Bearspring. The younger she-cat held a determined gleam in her gaze, shooting a furtive glance at Ravenstar. Then, muscles tensing, Bearspring lunged. 

Wolfbite side-stepped the she-cat, causing her to stumble. Using Bearspring's fumble to her advantage, Wolfbite rushed forward to nip at the black and white warrior's flank. Bearspring let out an irritated hiss, whirling on Wolfbite. Her claws sliced through the air, missing Wolfbite's face by mere inches as the she-cat stumbled backward to avoid the blow. 

A gasp broke Wolfbite's attention, and she realized a small crowd had gathering. Kestrelfeather was watching Wolfbite with open fear, while Tangletail gazed admiringly at Bearspring. Marshjump was observing his sister with a frown, Sootstep with barely concealed disdain.

Wolfbite's mind was brought lurchingly back into the fight as she felt Bearspring slam into her. Woflbite's back hit the ground with a painful crack, her vision swimming before her. Bearspring pressed a paw against Wolfbite's throat, claws sinking into the soft fur there. Bearspring's gaze slid to Ravenstar. The tom gave the slightest nod.

Wolfbite felt a burst of panic. Why was no one stopping this? Bearspring's claws sunk deeper into Wolfbite's throat. Wolfbite didn't think, she acted. She surged forward, knocking a startled Bearspring off of her. Hissing, Wolfbite snapped at the she-cat, sinking her teeth into her shoulder and roughly shoving her back. 

Bearspring let out a pained yowl, ears pinned against her head. Blood stained her ebony fur, and Wolfbite felt sick. "Bearspring, I didn't mean..." 

"Enough," Ravenstar's voice carried across the training grounds. "Wolfbite has won this spar. Bearspring," the tom eyed the now limping she-cat. "Your technique needs work. You were reckless and unguarded when attacking Wolfbite. I'm disappointed."

"She should go see a medicine cat," Kestrelfeather mrrowed, stepped forward to stand beside Wolfbite. 

"No. The wound will heal. Let it scar. It will be a reminder of what happens when you aren't prepared for a fight," Ravenstar replied mildly. "Now. Who wanted to train next?"

Wolfbite couldn't shake the melancholy hanging over her heart. She had injured a clanmate. Juniperfoot had been furious when she'd learned of what had happened, hissing and spitting at Ravenstar like a mad raccoon. 

Exhaling softly through her nose, Wolfbite halted in front of Bearspring, who had been sulking by herself in one of the camp's many alcoves since the fight. "I brought this for you," Wolfbite murmured, dropping a squirrel in front of Bearspring. 

Bearspring bristled. "I don't need your pity."

"I don't--this isn't pity. I feel bad. Clanmates shouldn't use claws against each other."

"No?" Bearspring leapt to her paws. "You made me look weak in front of Ravenstar, but I'm not the weak one. You are. Your soft-heartedness will get you killed in an actual battle."

"Why are all of you so obsessed with this--this bloodshed? What 'battle' are you even expecting to happen?" Wolfbite retorted.

"Get out!" Bearspring lurched forward, still not applying weight on the side of her injured shoulder. "Leave me alone. One day, Wolfbite, you'll regret this."

"Fine." Wolfbite scoffed, whirling and stalked off. She wouldn't stay where she wasn't wanted. Still, dread hung over her like a cloud. She couldn't help but miss the kittenhood days of her life, when war and death were reserved for stories in the elders' den.

Now, tragedy seemed to lurk around every corner.

Waiting for the opportune moment to strike.

Time with a dragon halfling child:

At first, He wasn't sure what to do with you. The chain had found you in a cave, curled in the corner and afraid as they stayed there during a bad thunderstorm. This was how Time found out you were afraid of storms.

You were a little one, this he knew, as you looked no older than maybe twelve; but the unusual thing to him, was that you seemed to be... part dragon, as well as Hylian? You had the signature Hylian pointed ears, however, you also had horns, wings that were distinctly of a dragon, and a dragon's tail.

When he noticed this, he... wasn't sure if asking where your parents were was the best idea. One of your parents had to be a dragon... Time didn't even know this was possible. He refrained from allowing himself to think too deeply about it.

But he couldn't just leave you there... you were so little. He knew you could take care of yourself, for sure; of this he had no doubts. But still...

He decides he'll just bring you along with them, reasoning that maybe traveling with them will help you find your mother. Yes, that's it.

So that he does. He brings you along with them as they travel. He's quick to ask if you know how to use a weapon, but when a random cucco flies after the Sailor (after he aggravated it, of course), Time quickly learns you can breathe fire, like an actual dragon.

He grins upon seeing you roast the cucco; those things are evil anyways. You'll make a fine addition to the team.

He has inner qualms about making a child fight, but you don't seem to mind it. He's watched you breathe fire into a moblin's face, and save the boys countless times from being in the way with your swiftness in flying. He finds it amusing most days, but there are times where you do things quite dangerously and it leads to a lecture.

When the boys set up camp for the night, Time realizes you don't have your own bedroll. Would you even use one? He has a lot of questions.

But the first night you sleep with the chain, there's another thunderstorm. The boys wake up soaked, and he wakes to you quietly shaking him in a small panic. That's right, he forgot you hated thunder....

You seem to know of another cave nearby and Time lets you lead the way so the boys don't all get sick. It's not far at all, and they take shelter there. He has the second watch, letting poor soaked Wars rest from his.

So when you come up and sit next to Time during the thunderstorm, he doesn't try to stop you. "Can't sleep little one...?" He asks softly, so as to not wake the boys. He sees you nod as you scoot a bit closer.

Careful not to squish your wing, he wraps an arm around you, pulling you a little closer to him. His hand makes its way to your hair, stroking it softly as he hums a little tune to you. You're not familiar with it, but... he has a nice voice. This is nice. He's nice...

After a while, he lifts you, pulling you effortlessly into his lap to make himself a little more comfortable. Somehow, you drift off to sleep. He smiles down at you, ruffling your hair softly so as to not wake you. You stay asleep 'til the morning; Twilight, who's up first, catches a glimpse of the sight of you in the old man's lap and smiles softly.

The Old Man smiles back at the Rancher, putting a finger to his lips as a gesture to keep quiet. The Rancher nods, smiling as he goes about his business.

From then on, spending the night with him is your normal thing, especially during storms. He bought you your own bedroll, but you never use it. You prefer staying with him in his. And you're small enough that you both fit comfortably, so why not?

Whenever the chain makes it to a town, he notices people are... not very kind to you. And you always seem a little apprehensive in town anyway... He's sure that if the heroes weren't all escorting you around, the townspeople would do much worse than gossip about you.

For that reason, he doesn't leave you alone. If there's a matter he needs to attend to, he's leaving you with one of the older boys (probably Twilight). He'd never want you to get hurt; he knows how cruel people can be.

Either way, he'll make it to an inn as quickly as he can. So one day, when a random innkeeper gives him trouble over you, claiming you're an animal that can't stay (how rude!), he sighs, getting ready to leave when he watches you. You're not leaving with the rest of the chain; instead, you're staring down the innkeeper.

"Y/n? Come, dear, we'll go somewhere else. It's his loss of money..." he says, but you still don't move.

He watches as you bring a hand to your face, about a foot in front of your mouth, breathing fire into it for a solid couple seconds. And in front of the whole group, you float upwards, landing a small spat of fire right into the innkeeper's hair. He panics, quickly putting it out.

None of the boys dare to laugh, but goddesses, how they want to.

"Okay, okay, fine! T-Take all the rooms you need! It's free, just stay the night and get out in the morning, please..." the innkeeper sighs.

The whole ordeal earns you a scolding from Time later, but at least you got free rooms, right?

I hope you’re having a good day/night dragon anon! I used some of my own personal tactics when it comes to anxiety, so I hope that’s okay.

TASM!Peter Parker + anxiety headcanons

Peter is the kind of partner that would immediately notice when something’s wrong. After pining after you for so long he’s picked up on all of your different quirks that tell him what’s going on.

I think Peter can definitely tell that maybe you’ve been over working yourself, or that work/school is seriously stressing you out, and tries to get you to stop and a take a minute before you get worse, but sometimes you feel like you just need to push through.

He’s so attuned to your needs that it’s basically like his spider senses, how knows when something’s wrong, sometimes even before you do.

He notices your shaky hands immediately, he sees you tapping your middle finger against your thumb, trying to calm yourself down. He can hear your breathing start to stutter, and he’s on his feet standing in front of you in seconds.

He takes your shaking hands and holds them against his chest. He tells you to breathe with him, slowly taking deep breaths in and out. Once he feels that you’ve calmed down he holds your face in his hands. He wipes away any tears if there are any, slowly brushing his thumbs against your cheekbones.

“It’s okay. You’re okay.” He says softly as he waits for you to give him any signal that you need anything else.

If you do need something he’s going to get it for you as soon as you tell him. Need a glass of water? He runs to the kitchen to get one for you. Need to cuddle up with him on the couch? He’ll scoop you up and hold you for hours. Do you feel like you need to go outside? He’ll throw on his spidey suit and swing you around the city.

He’ll probably have a little talk with you about what happened. He’ll tell you that he’s worried you’re over working yourself, or that you’re letting work/school take up too much space in that pretty little head of yours. He assures you that he’ll always be here for you whenever you need him.

For me, I HATE when it's the MHA fandom. When it is the students, it is very uncomfortable for me to see that kinda stuff ESPECIALLY when the account is like a 26 year old or something, it's hella uncomfy

For JJK, one of my first requests was to age up Megumi to have him be a father and reluctantly, I did it. I would probably never do it again honestly because again, he's like my little dude. Like when I see people writing for Yuji I'm like WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! We have nanami and gojo and you chose the 15 year old?!?!?!

Now for the kinda other side here. When it comes to Jojo, we all love Jotaro, but he ages up in the show, so you can talk about 17-40 year old jotaro, so that's when it's okay. You can do that with any character in jojo because of the timeline and we actually see them age

so in that case... can't we just do that with other stuff?

Spiderpunk (aka Hobie Brown) from Across the Spiderverse hasn't had a confirmed age, but goddamn is he fine af. But in that case, what do people do? I have seen people say his age is up for interpretation and that he can't be like 15 because look at him???? So in this case, sometimes that can be okay if that makes sense

And again, I love Haikyuu and it actually reveals what they do in the future, so I think it's alright to age them up

I think for me it's fandom based. If you want to give me some examples that you wanna call out, please let me know because I would love to chat about this more

Also, another thing I'm not super into is x child!reader. I used to get those requests A LOT and my account was for romance based fics mostly. A lot of the requests I were getting were 13 or younger children asking to be platonically with characters from MHA, which wasn't a huge problem, I just would rather not write it. But when it really got me was when someone asked for a child!reader with characters from HAZBIN HOTEL AND HELLUVA BOSS?!?! Literally no. That is not for children. I dont care if they have access to it, they should not be in my inbox asking for that. I stopped writing for the fandom completely and a lot of those people left. But x child!reader should be for them if they're on this app. I don't like writing it at all and only did it for a short period because I felt like I had to. I was too scared to change my rules at the time until I finally did and then people actually respected them. But it was weird to hear kids wanting to "be with Aizawa" as a more dad character, but that's just for me

Sorry for turning this a whole other direction, but those are some other things that I just wanted to add since we were in this convo

so considering fallenclan is definitely entering a new era with ravenstar, i decided to make a list of who i think his supporters will be. i believe most of the cats who become his lackeys are going to be those that are young and impressionable. i believe cats like crowflame, evie, willowsplash, etc. who remember life under goldenstar's leadership are actually going to vehemently be in opposition to ravenstar. exiling elders theory is actually pretty legit! (in my clangen files, when i don't want to exile a cat bc i'll lose track of them, i keep them in the clan but add something to their name or desc to note that they're "exiled" or a part of a resistance or something if the leader is evil). these are all just theories and my own ideas about the characters ofc

anyway here's the list:

levi---this one is a given. we don't know much about him other than that he's bloodthirsty and was taken into the clan by ravenstar.

flamefall---ravenstar's first and only (at this point) apprentice. has the nervous trait so i'm assuming he finds ravenstar to be quite intimidating. he was the cat to remind cherrystar about feathersight's omen, which led to her making ravenstar deputy. i don't flamefall is inherently malicious, but i do believe he could be coerced or threatened into doing ravenstar's bidding.

sleepydawn---a cat who's sick of living in his dead father's shadow, wanting to make a name for himself... by being a part of ravenstar's inner circle. has the bloodthirsty trait as well. i think sleepydawn is a very jaded and bitter cat and ravenstar will play into that quite a bit. he had the insecure trait as an apprentice so i feel he desperately wants approval. ravenstar gives him this approval.

patchback---a bit uncertain on this one. she was exiled from her previous clan and probably feels beholden to fallenclan for taking her in. perhaps she will follow ravenstar more closely out of fear of being exiled again. she has the fierce trait which makes me think she can be quite intimidating/fiery when provoked.

frecklefox---i view him as being rowdy and chaotic but not particularly cruel. i think he'd start out more as a lowkey follower who antagonizes cats who "don't support" ravenstar and slowly becomes more devote.

hazelthorn---she's charismatic and an unusually strong fighter. i see her as being someone who listens and observes all amongst the clan and then reports back to ravenstar (warning him about potential "traitors").

toadbelly---a chill guy. or is he?

marshpaw & bearpaw---putting these two together because they're both righteous. ravenstar did promise to "look after" them, after all.

sootstep---her apprentice trait was ambitious and her current trait is loyal. gives the impression of someone who seeks to move up in the clan's ranks and scorns cats she finds disloyal to ravenstar.

i honestly can't see a lot of the characters that have been already well established as being in support of ravenstar but uh. here's my list

Werewolf!Steve x gn!reader (featuring platonic Vampire!Eddie)

Omg the angst!!

Steve is confused when he (in his wolf form) comes to your house and you don’t let him in. He paws at your door and howls a little, trying to get your attention.

When he sees Eddie carrying you to your house he’s furious. Your leg is bloody, and you look like you’re about to pass out in Eddie’s arms. Steve is just about ready to go hunt down whoever did this to you.

You vocally invite Eddie inside, allowing him to bring you into your house, Steve following close behind. Eddie helps you disinfect and wrap up your ankle, then carries you to your bed.

Steve lays next to you and rests his head on your stomach. His eyes look sad, and he sighs when he looks at you. You pet his head, softly scratching behind his ear as the two of you slowly fall asleep.

When Steve wakes up the next morning (as his human self) you’re already awake and up. You slowly limp around the kitchen making breakfast for the two of you. He practically runs over to you, letting you lean against him so you don’t fall.

He feels awful knowing you were hurt by something that was meant to hurt him. He waits on you hand and foot for the entirety of that day, calling Robin to tell her he’s not coming into work.

He makes you promise not to go anywhere near the woods or anywhere there might be traps for him again. You spend almost the entire day on the couch with Steve as he softly tends to your wounds, and tells you how much he loves you.
