I see and cry over Zorua/Zoroark preying on Ingo and I would like to counter offer Ingo Could Spot An Illusion/Shapeshifter On Sight. Settlement security and sense of safety skyrockets clan membership earned at record speed. probably rumors for a while that Ingo himself is a pokemon, he’s certainly weird enough to be. but when Laventon finally manages to hit him from behind with a pokeball it doesn’t work so... they’re pretty sure Ingo’s not a pokemon
Tumblr media
also headcanon that before he got pokeballs from the Galaxy Team he’d just yeet his pokemon at opponents on instinct

Seen plenty of fics and art of Irida winding up in the modern day (even pokemon masters did that), but what about you're own view of how that'd go? Or barring that, a version of her winding up there and things not exactly going well at first? Like not /violently/ horrible or anything like that, but just not well.
Well, I already have a version of it with the Subway Boss Irida AU. But if you want a version of Irida in the future where things end up, uh, not well, I do have an AU I have only talked about on Discord.
It's an Irida in modern day + twin dragons au:
Tumblr media
More about the AU below the cut
The premise of this AU starts with the fact that all the Zekroms out there used by trainers (few as they are) are just fragments of the original, Ingo/Zekrom, who always stays in Gear Station. Until the eeby deeby, that is.
So, when Ingo is yeeted, all the fragments of Zekrom vanish, no matter if they're in pokeballs, PCs or roaming around. This happens because the link with the original and main one is severed.
Years later, there are rumors about a trainer with a Zekrom, so it catches the attention of a lot of people, especially those from Unova and particularly Emmet. And Team Plasma. Yikes.
Irida originally lands in Johto, where she crafts a custom pokeball for Ingo/Zekrom since it just isn't doable to walk around everywhere when Ingo's dragon form is so big. She doesn't understand what happened, nor where or when she is, but she's very cagey about Ingo's situation with others. People don't realize it's Zekrom at first because they weren't expecting the legendary there of all places after vanishing for years, which helps.
Ingo is very protective of Irida as well, especially since she's stranded in the future and he's stuck in his pokemon form (for now). Poor guy doesn't remember how to detransform. Not that he knew he could turn into a giant dragon either. He forgor.
But eventually they end up in Team Plasma's radar, hoping to use Zekrom for their new plan to take over Unova. They're being hunted down. Oop.

How would the brothers go about getting something spice and/or sugar are chewing on and not supposed to be chewing on out of their mouths, since you know how dogs are when they get into things they shouldn't?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Sugar is a good oupy and generally knows what not to chew on so I think she would just listen to her trainer <3 But if you want Spice to stop chewing something you have to physically wrestle it out of his mouth

Unrealistic OOC daydream that I'm sharing just because it's funny:
---
"I need to be very clear with you Melli," Ingo says, folding up his coat and handing it to the other warden. "I'm not leaving my possessions in your hands."
Ingo places his hat atop the folded coat now resting in Melli's arms.
"Quite the opposite, actually. Your life is now in my hands."
Melli whips his head up, startled.
"Huh?!"
Ingo leans back, his spine cracking as he straightens up.
"I said," Ingo repeats, voice lower but no less loud, "Your life is in my hands. If you happen to fail to protect your current cargo? Start praying."
---
lmao I was imagining Ingo as Zekrom and thought "well if he's Zekrom and he helps out Akari, he might just decide to quell Lord Electrode himself. Oh but what about his coat and hat?" And then this scene just sorta popped up. I can't imagine regular Ingo to say or act like this but Legendary Pokémon Ingo I think should be threatening. You know, as a treat. 🥰

Okay so I was looking through your twin dragon au
And, can you imagine how confused the Pearl Clan be with this strange man who sometimes sparks and how much a lot of electric Pokémon just adore him.
Also Ingo getting just mad enough for his eyes to change color while Meli is just being Meli.
Or, or, OR, the first time Ingo gets struck by lighting by clan members or Galactic members and just not noticing.

he’s just seen as a strangely resilient weird guy

I'm so excited to finally be able to post this! (tumblr made the first image so crunchy, so please try to fully view it in a new tab)
For my submas Yugioh AU, I'm attempting to create a new card archetype that Ingo and Emmet share - while it's going to take me a while to work out the details of it, I've at least designed the ace cards.
This is Ingo's ace card, Retro-Motive Steam Heart Dragon (Steam Heart for short). I included the original concept sketches as well along with the finished piece for reference.
The design is based on a combination of the Pokemon most people associate Ingo with, along with a steam train motif.
Emmet's dragon can be found here: [Emmet]

ok so. so i've been thinking. there's a lot of zekringo and reshiremmet aus but i've had a Vision
It's thundering in Hisui. Ingo is noticeably distant. It's raining hard enough to flatten a Stunky to the ground with its sheer force and he's standing outside, staring up into the sky, watching lightning strikes and thunderclaps pass with vacant eyes.
Melli's getting. seriously worried. Wind is picking up and Ingo's coat is ripping even more in the gusts with the weight of its own soaked fabric and he's not reacting when he should be. Eventually, Sabi and Akari arrive, both soaked and wind-lashed at the same time. Lord Braviary is ruffled to the max, Cream Cheese huddled next to him, and Sabi shouts that she can take one more on Braviary's back, one in the sling, and Akari circling to make sure no one falls. Ingo doesn't react as the three bustle around him, still staring up at the sky with wide eyes, and Melli's hair starts frizzing up as he gently (no, he didn't, shut up Sabi!) leads Ingo to Braviary's saddle, seating him securely on it. They take off, and immediately it gets windier. Ingo is still looking up, and Melli chances a look up from the sling- all he sees is Lord Braviary's underbelly, but between flaps of quietly powerful wings, he can just barely see a spiraling torrent of dark, horrifying clouds above them fragmenting with lightning.
It gets gustier, and Sabi shouts something above him- something to Ingo, yelling at him to speak up if he has something she needs to hear. Akari is circling when it happens- a hard gust of wind comes in time with a lightning strike, scarily close to Lord Braviary's wing. The noble startles away, jostling everyone onboard- Ingo is the only one who doesn't hang on in time to brace for the wind gust.
Melli just sees a blur- black coat, red stripes- falling past him, then he hears Akari's shriek as Cream Cheese follows, but is forced back up by another gale of wind too sheer for even a Togekiss' dive to pierce. Sabi screams above him, but Lord Braviary doesn't dip or turn even as she cries for him to go for him, please, he fell-!
as it sinks in, it seems like both forever and a moment before it actually registers, but in that time, everything slows down, and it's like the storm breathes.
Something leathery unfurls, like a fan, and then everyone screams as a short, hard updraft knocks them all up through the air, giving them new vantage in the storm. Something roars, low and growling, through the storm, louder than thunder and sharp as a lightning crack, and Melli feels his hair start to stand on end. He looks to his side as lightning strikes- and watches as the strike passes behind a huge dark wing. He loses his breath at the knowledge that they're not alone in this storm, but they can't stop flying until they get to the Pearl Clan settlement- sheltered in a ravine and from the storm.
But, as they fly... the wind is less harsh, and they're surrounded by the sound of it colliding with what sounds like thick leather. Those wings faded in and out of view, only visible if lightning struck at the perfect time behind or in front of them.
Just as they crossed into the Icelands, lightning cracked again, and Melli watched as instead of it going behind, or in front, of the wing... it collided square with it.
And it danced.
A beautiful blue current of electricity spread out from the impact, and from it the entire storm seemed to deflate of energy. It spread further, lighting the entire wing up... further... until Melli could almost make out an armored torso. The lightning crackled, dissipated, but his heart was already in his throat. It was huge, whatever was with them. It roared again, and Melli could see ice quivering from the force and sheer noise of its roar.
And where it flew, them above it... the storm cleaved in two. The clouds remained, but rain stopped. Thunder and lightning crackled in the clouds, but never burst free.
Their flight to the ravine was... easy. Almost pleasant, now. With no rain, with no thunder and lightning, Melli could close his eyes, pretend it was spring with a heavy rain just done. He opened them again when he heard shouting from below, and he looked down. Pink robes mixed and shouted, and against the snow... he could finally see what touched down behind them as Lord Braviary started descending.
A dragon. Massive, as big as some of the caverns under Mount Coronet. Huge wings folded in to smaller winglets coming off the shoulders- it rolled its shoulders as it stretched its neck out, opening blazing red eyes and looking down at the people staring at it. It leaned down a bit, crooning at the three who had landed- Akari stepped forward, past Melli, with shaking legs and holding a cap in cold-red hands. The dragon stepped forward, bowing its head to be level with Akari. Just its head was as big as she was.
It crooned again, nose nudging at the too-familiar cap in her hands. She snatched it away, breath picking up for an instant, and it pulled back a bit, almost like a wounded animal would. It looked at itself, eyes brightening, dulling, before chirping- not unlike how a Chatot would. Those red eyes met Akari's as it nodded, dipped its head again, before it curled up, slowly started melting together, shrinking smaller and smaller until-
Ingo stumbled forward, collapsing into the snow.
