Lots of rambles below the cut , plus Psychonauts 2 Spoilers so be careful

The Psychic 7 appear much younger than in the games, since dragons age so slowly. The Deluge is still very recent in their eyes because of the same reason, time is perceived much faster.

Ford used magic to break his mind, after writing a spell to 'fix' Lucy and erase Augustus' minds, he created a spell to destroy his own so he couldn't undo it. Lucy is still very sensitive and broken mentally, but she's largely the same.

Ford is still very much the same as well, but tends to be highly aggressive since his mind was broken differently than canon-- usually his friends have to help redirect him when he goes into a frenzy.

Bob is, of course, still very deeply depressed and drunk after losing Helmut. Otto-- who dated Bob for two years before the former left for Helmut-- does his best to help Bob, spending a lot of time with him trying to keep the guy from drinking himself to death.

Helmut, however, is still alive and fully conscious deep in the ice at Ground Zero-- able to survive the extreme cold in a close to hibernation state. He's reaching out as desperately as he can mentally in hopes someone will hear him and save him, but no one does.. not until Raz.

When it comes to Compton and Cassie, they're also pretty much the same-- Compton hiding away to keep his head under control, and Cassie hiding away to handle her own grief. But they do try to come around to see their friends more often, as much as they can at least.

TYPES!

Ford - A more generic 'storybook' dragon, with a few notable avian traits (feathers on his back and owl-esque paws)

Otto - More mammalian in appearance, with more catlike paws and hooves in the back-- feathered wings and thin fur, spikes down his back.

Lucy - An aquatic mix like the other Aquatos, obviously

Bob - Extremely avian, with feathered wings and a notably beak-like snout, has a crest on his head instead of horns.

Cassie - A somewhat generic 'storybook' dragon, but with a mutation that makes her wings extremely clear and buglike-- has fur around her shoulders/chest and down her back. Two insect-like antennae at the base of her horns. Her bug mutations are known as 'O'Pia traits' cause they were first noticed in her.

Helmut - Another hybrid appearance, slightly more mammalian (a bit bear-like because, obviously.) but with a scaled underbelly and normal wings-- scales can change color with mood, and change intensity with health

Compton - A wyvern hybrid, looks fairly generic but with some mammalian traits.

watch this music video and tell me Ford wouldn't identify pretty heavily with the main character and become emotional watching it, I dare you. I literally can't stop being reminded of him when I see it.

like, it's about a little girl born with an anomaly in the form of wings who faces extreme bullying over it and feels the need to hide/destroy that part of herself. if that's not what Ford went through in his childhood then idk what is.

Ford would cry upon seeing this video, no doubt in my mind about it.

I didn't want to swap their lives exactly, so here's my version of 'Chris' Cunningham lore 🖤

She's still struggling with an ED and abuse at home. Laura's ideals and Phillip's neglect caused her to rebel at an early age. She actively rejects their expectations.

Lead guitarist for her punk band, Corrupted Casket.

Her favorite book is The Last Unicorn by Peter S. Beagle; it was also her inspiration to start playing Dungeons and Dragons. She became the first female member of Hellfire Club during her freshman year in 1982, and took over as leader in 1986.

Though she has yet to repeat her senior year, she receives poor grades from skipping class often.

She was briefly involved with a plug of Reefer Rick's, but after too many close calls, he left Hawkins for a larger city, leaving her with nothing but his connections. Not wanting to rely on her parents' wealth for income, she began dealing under her former beau's guise.

It is through this activity that she re-connects with Edward Munson, her 8th grade crush and the current King of Hawkins High…

Random tidbits:

She was cornered by a random jock during detention in her sophomore year; when he started to come on to her, she rebuffed his advances

She was branded as a 'slut' since then by the popular crowd, though she stopped caring by the time she became a senior

This title is inspiration for her stage persona and a lot of her songs

She is the only person to still refer to Edward as 'Eddie'

18. how likely are they to have fur babies? how many and what kind?

lip has the vibes of being allergic to anything with fur i don't know why. he just stands like it. no one who stands like that isn't allergic to dogs. so not fur babies per SE but i think perhaps a bearded dragon. or a red eared slider. or a ball python. or a leopord gecko. actually scratch that i think they'd have a reptile room. god i miss having snakes

26. what are their vices?

with each other or in general? because legit i think speirs would have no idea how to change a vacuum filter. with each OTHER that's an interesting question because to me speirton are like. the epitome of giving into everything and nothing. think seven deadly sins. speirs is strong and impenetrable until lipton gets sick and then he's stripped down to his bare bones and Care. lipton is caring and paternal but is also willing to strip bodies to help the people he loves. does this make sense. am i ariana grande talking to the wall meme rn.

27. who is the light weight that needs to be taken care of after a party?

lipton is genuinely the most Solid Man in all of band of brothers. that guy could throw back eight drinks and maintain a BAC of .05 i genuinely believe that. on the other hand speirs legit has the face of a man who has, on many occasions, been White Girl Wasted. i don't know how many of y'all have seen Working Girl, but basically the scene where harrison ford carries melanie griffith up three flights of stairs fireman style. genuinely that's what happened at the eagles nest after VE Day i believe it fully. speirs got fucking white girl wasted and was tess mcgill'd back to his billet
