[Video Description: A video of a person playing a short simple tune on a dragonturtle ocarina]
Porcelain is sister-craft.
I imagine that this Dragonturtle Ocarina was commissioned from the RTA by Jester Lavorre, as an engagement present to Fjord Stone.
Check out @artists-guild-of-exandria and the hashtag below for more awesome art from the Chetney’s Toy Workshop Project- there’s some really incredible stuff!
More Kili, and her husband, a dragon turtle named Rez! Also tweaked Kili's outfit a bit. I might tell more about these characters later, right now I'm just having fun drawing them and sharing pics haha
Finally the series is completed. Over a year in the making, thank you everyone that followed and supported me. I started getting back into art when I first made the white tiger piece and kicked off the series. I'm so happy seeing them all together
The dragon turtle on the left has steam breath! The shell alone is around 25 feet (7.6 m), but otherwise it's exactly what it sounds like, giant sentient turtle dragon. Pictured here with a crommesteven I think? 2 or 3 mast, a spritsail, most others I know of that design are way too big. Originally a Dutch design, though famously used by the British Navy in the 17th century during thier early colonizing rush.
On the right, the Hezrou, 8ft (2.4 m) spikey demon toads! Lotta bipedal toads on the chaos side of things. Exactly what is seems like, big buff toad. Just bring some sort of protection against stench, because they apparently have some of the worst.
HEY GUYS! Still clearing out the mini cabinets! I’ve been stepping up my mini painting game and have been trying to make space for the more display-style stuff!
I also did a hard switch from preparing for a Sea-Faring game to running a Fey-Heavy game so a few of these guys I’d been hanging onto I no longer need!
OR in the case of the red dragon, my spouse got me a BIGGER, BADDER red dragon and I don’t have room for both of them, LOL!
So if you’re interested in a big ol’ centerpiece monster for your DnD game, check out what I’ve got available!
A strong-backed dragon. He carries heavy weights upon his shoulders, with words and images of importance often carved in the stone resting atop his shell.
“Perhaps the most feared of water creatures is the dragon turtle.” (Dave Trampier from the AD&D Monster Manual, TSR, 1977) This entry briefly describes a dragon turtle as neutral, very intelligent and speaking its own language, but mostly emphasizes its destructive potential. The possibility of bargaining with one for safe passage was stated clearly in later sources.
