the gulp that thorin has in the end of the first hobbit movie is actually insane. you could quite literally see his face and gaze softening the more bilbo speaks. it is actually quite beautiful. i must say that i have already been influenced of thorin and bilbo as a ship from tiktok but,,, it doesn't matter to me because any kind of relationship they have, platonic or romantic, is blossoming already. i love it.
