Dear Philza Minecraft, I am going to the prison to visit Dream and make sure he is alright. If I do not return within a few days, activate the pearl I left in our book club's meeting room. If the pearl is gone, well it was nice knowing you. Look after the others for when I'm gone. I left my valuables in the barrel hidden in the top floor ceiling and the chest under the stone in a corner in that one weird room under the house with pistons. Distribute them as you see fit. Please keep Steve and the foxes well fed. The wolves can be released into the wilderness. Tell Ranboo and Nikki that they're stronger than they know. Tell Tommy I hope he finds what he's looking for, whatever that is. Phil, I'm glad I met you in this life. Tell the rest of the SMP that having abolished all governments of men I have ascended to heaven to take on the kingdom of God. ~TechnoBlade

I wasn't sure what else to write for this, but this seemed fitting...This piece took me all of yesterday to finish. I cried and skipped meals, but it was worth it to give the Blade a proper farewell in my own way. The internet lost a king, a warrior, a fighter, but most lost a great son, friend and brother.

Rest well, Alex. You will forever live on through you work and family/friends.

If there's something I love is seeing how people draw c!Tommy. Especially about his age.

Some people draw him with more childlike features. He looks younger, more "helpless" in a way. You can really see it's a child soldier. Someone who is not ready in any way to be in those situations, but is there anyway with a confident face and a loud voice. It's very visible he should not be there and how wrong it all is.

But other people draw him looking a bit older, looking more like someone who's soon to become an adult. In a way he looks less innocent, even when he's still the victim. He resembles Wilbur a bit more, and he doesn't look as helpless when next to Dream. But here's the thing, he's still a child soldier. He might act like he knows what he's doing, use big words, and act all powerful. And it's not that visible how wrong it all is, but it's still there.

You'll look at him and see this seventeen-ish years old guy, and, in a first glance, it won't feel as wrong. But when you really look at him, that's when you notice how vulnerable Tommy is. Surrounded by people who are more mature, more powerful, and who hate his guts. And you'll start to notice how easily influenced he can be, which seems unlikely for someone who always expresses what he thinks. And you'll start to notice he was never as ready as he says he was. And you'll start to notice how most of the messes he got himself into had completely disproportional consequences to him.

And after all of that, you'll look at him again, and maybe he even looks a bit older, but you can still see it. The child behind the loud voice and the bright smile, holding a sword that is just his size, but will always feel a bit too big for him.

I'm not going to watch tommy showing techno's dad around the server, because I just haven't been able to handle those sorts of videos emotionally. But Like.

realistically did any of you expect tommy to look at technoblade's dad and tell him how objectively wrong his son's roleplay character was?

getting mad that tommy framed techno's character in a more heroic light to Literally His Dad is. a bit ridiculous.

techno's dad doesn't need to hear about the complexities of the community house green festival scene, he's trying to honor the memory of his son.

I’m having many thoughts about the DSMP finale.

I don’t think anything like DSMP will ever happen again, if I’m being perfectly honest. Nothing is ever going to come close to just how MASSIVE it was, and how momentous it’s all felt. Like over 100k people were tuning in to watch MCRP lore at some points, which is INSANE. And like the insane amount of love put into it by (most of) the people on it, and the fans. The fanart, fansongs, recreations of the server, animatics, everything really! Stuff like Sad-Ist’s animations, Derivakat’s songs based off the characters and events, and like!!! So much more!!!! And the work of the CCs!!!!! Stuff like Quackity’s Las Nevadas streams or BadBoyHalo’s Eggpire streams with their INSANELY high quality productions, with the former even having it’s own music??? That’s INSANE!!

And like, despite EVERYTHING. The Dream situatuon, the slow and uneventful downfall of the server, the Nuke ending. I still LOVE this server, and don’t see myself leaving it’s fandom ANYTIME soon. and I’ll probably love it for the rest of my life. It’s literally changed my life for the better. Introduced me to so many lovely people I never would’ve seen otherwise, made me improve my writing and my art, and literally got me through SO MANY tough times in my life. And it introduced me to so many content creators I never would’ve gotten into in the first place. It’s done so much for me, and has done so much for so many other people, and I don’t think that can be overlooked, because I doubt something like that is ever going to happen again.

Farewell, DSMP. Your Unfinished Symphony finally draws to a close.
