Types of Dream Work

Lucid Dreaming: Lucid dreaming is the ability to become aware that you are dreaming and to control the dream. It can be used for manifestation, healing, and exploring your inner world. To practice lucid dreaming, you can use reality checks, set intentions before you go to sleep, and practice visualization techniques.

Astral Projection: Astral projection is the practice of leaving your physical body and traveling to different realms or dimensions. It can be used for spiritual exploration, connecting with spirit guides, or receiving messages from the universe. To practice astral projection, you can use meditation, visualization, among other journeying techniques. It's important to practice caution and preparation, and work with an experienced practitioner or teacher if possible.

Dream Incubation: Dream incubation is the practice of setting an intention before you go to sleep to dream about a specific topic or question. It can be used for divination, problem-solving, or spiritual exploration. To practice dream incubation, you can use visualization, affirmations, or ritual to set your intention.

Dream Interpretation: Dream interpretation is the process of analyzing the symbols and messages in your dreams to gain insight into your subconscious mind. It can be used for spiritual growth, self-awareness, and problem-solving. To practice dream interpretation, you can use books, online resources, or work with a dream interpreter or witch.

Dream Protection: Dream protection is the practice of protecting yourself from negative energies or entities that may enter your dreams. It can be used for spiritual protection, emotional healing, or to prevent nightmares. To practice dream protection, you can use visualization, affirmations, or protection spells or talismans.

💉 Emily - Forehead kisses are her favorite. She loves their warmth and intimacy, especially if you cup her face while soothingly rubbing her temples. But while she enjoys your slow kisses, she tends to only give quick, haphazard ones herself.

🩰 Margaretha - Blows kisses at you regularly. It’s part of her gimmick. Loves to sit on your lap and let you brush your lips over her chest/collarbone area. She has conflicting feelings of shame and solace when you kiss her scars, but in the end she trusts you enough - it's very validating for her.

🔫 Martha - Often leaves casual kisses on the back of your hand. It’s a way to give you reassurance when words can’t. In private, your neck is her preferred place ♡ She isn’t fond of muffling your mouth as it detracts all the fun 😇

🍾 Demi - A sloppy kisser, tugs you close by your collar or your belt loop - whatever is the first within her reach. Likes to swing her arms around you and wind up shoved against a corner somewhere. Not picky at all about where you kiss her!

🪞 Mary - Kisses from her are always a reward. She tilts up your chin with her mirror shard and smirks at you before capturing your lips. On your end, she prefers it when you kiss the back of her hand .. or even the tip of her pointed shoe.

👘 Michiko - Rather vanilla. Still feels flustered just by staring at your lips for too long. She prefers to take it slow - a simple kiss on the lips is the most she will do for you. But she wouldn’t mind if you took it further, she has always dreamed of those elaborate, lingering sessions with someone <3

🐍 Yidhra - Very demanding with what she expects from you - she picked you out of everyone in the universe, after all. It’s almost like kissing the universe, or maybe a ghost. She leaves distinct marks all over you so you can’t forget her time with you by the next morning.

Oracle, Orpheus' Drugs, and Yidhra Theory

Adding this here due to a curious comment I received regarding Oracle and Yidhra on my previous theory.

"Oracle" is technically a drug, as that is how it is described in the "medicine test records" and owner's diaries in the 2nd anniv pack, but it's interesting to connect the effects with Yidhra. Based on what I can find, she is described as being able to project thoughts into the minds of others that can create "dream-like worlds" and humans can mistake for reality, as well as manipulate the mental states of her victims so they're rarely aware of what's happening. So the similarities are pretty good.

And Yidhra's letters are always pretty curious, considering it keeps talking about abnormalities in the water, soil, and plants. The investigators refer to it as something like "pollution". Some of the plants are said to have "wilted", dried up, the soil is said to be "strongly acidic" in at least 1 area, and the "algal content" of the water is higher than normal lakes, They also mention strange "unidentified microbial deposits" in the water and soil, but their investigation is forced to end due to various reasons (missing records, destroyed environments, etc…).

Yidhra's 4th letter also mentions that the "edge of the forest" was withered, but the plants within the forest were "teeming with life". It is unknown whether the soil was acidic here too, but we do see Yidhra causes the investigator to blur "dreams and reality" as well as how the investigator "cannot seem to remember" if there was "an ending to last night's dream".

I did see that at least some ferns like acidic soil, in which case the soil by Lakeside would be good for them (or at least Orpheus could take some of it to grow the ferns in his greenhouse).

I also saw that ferns require organic matter (like decomposing plant material) for growth. From what I found, microbial deposits consist of accumulations of microorganisms and their byproducts, which can help decompose organic matter and contribute to the nutrient cycle to make those nutrients available to plants, including ferns. So it's possible all these things in Yidhra's letters are related to the ferns.

I also did see that supposedly she can provide "bountiful crops and healthy livestock", so it'd stand to reason she can also cause the opposite to happen. In which case, that could tie to the dead part of the forest vs the flourishing part of the forest. Within the forest we know is the Forest of No Return/Darkwoods, where we can find the bonfire that Yidhra's form can appear in after eliminating 4 survivors by it (which ties to the part where she can provide those healthy crops and livestock if she is worshiped). We also know Marjorie likely saw Yidhra's form in the fire based on Yidhra's 2nd letter.

The issue with Oracle specifically is Netease seems to have decided against it to instead do something else, as we can see we have 4 different drugs, but they seem to at least do some similar things to what Oracle did, meaning the fern could still tie to Yidhra.

(Least this whole idea would tie Yidhra to the lore somehow + make some sense out of her letters)
