Tumblr media
oh my!!
hello, and thank you all for 200 followers!! ♡ i know it's not really a big deal, but for me it's more than a lot. i’m grateful to each and every one of you!! i can't even imagine so many people in one place lmao
i missed the moment when there were a 100 of you in here, so now we buckle up and let's go with a special event!! ♡
here is the file, where you can find a complete list of actors and characters for whom i write. below you will find a list of prompts for both fluff and angst. as you can see, i have two moods and nothing in between - it is what it is, right?
please send requests in this general format: angst/fluff (to make it more interesting you can pair them), number or dialogue selected from the list and the character of your choice. if you feel like, you can also add a plot idea, but i need all the above information no matter what
requests will be accepted during this time period: mar. 26, 2023 - apr. 09, 2023 closed
i’ll be prioritizing these over other requests between this week and the following, thank you once again ♡

angsty dialogue prompst by @glasswriter1
“i guess i wasn’t enough, was i?”
“i don’t think i can look at you and not think of how you killed every last bit of love i had”
“i hate that i was always yours and you were never mine”
“please tell me i’m dreaming, that you’re not actually breaking up with me”
“please leave before i lose myself to madness and beg you to stay”
“are you happy now? i’ve been destroyed, is this what you wanted?”
“all i can think about is kissing you when i shouldn’t. you aren’t mine”
“so this is it? this is where it all ends?”
“you want to do something for me? how about this? leave me the fuck alone and never come back”
“can i hug you? one last time“
fluffy dialogue prompts by the same author
"do you know how glad i am to have met you?”
“make me a playlist sometime, will you?”
“in another universe, we are not together, probably not even in the same country. and i’m glad that this isn’t that universe”
“do you know you mumble in your sleep? it’s precious how it’s all either about stars, strawberries and rainbows or murder, arson and dictatorship. there’s no in between”
“god, sometimes it’s so hard to… to not kiss you, you know”
gentle, accidental, brushing of hands while walking together
A watching B laugh, their head thrown back in amusement, eyes tearing up and skin getting all flushed, and realizing that they would never feel the same for anyone else
“i’m not kidding, if you were mine i’d bring you the moon if you asked me to”
“how much longer are you going to hide your feelings for me, dummy?”
and it was when A watched B look at someone else the way they wanted to be looked at. does A realize how much in love with their best friend they were?

Hiii I hope you’re well and this isn’t too late, but may I have diavolo with prompt#11 ‘Person A and Person B sleeping in the same bed and Person A keeps waking up cold because Person B has pulled all the blankets off of them.’ Please and thank you!! Have a nice day!
Hi! Hope you’re staying safe through everything! This got kinda long so hope that’s okay 🥺 reader is gender neutral!
Prompt Scenario: “Person A and Person B sleeping in the same bed and Person A keeps waking up cold because Person B has pulled all the blankets off of them.” With Diavolo!
Tumblr media
After seeing how much of a success the retreats have been with everyone, Lord Diavolo decided to hold another one just for fun. Nothing really changed except for one minor factor that nobody was particularly happy about.
Lord Diavolo wanted to room with you. Which meant sharing the bed. Together.
Now the brothers weren’t exactly...pleased with this notion, but they could only complain and fuss so much about it, with Lucifer scowling at them with Barbatos glaring. They weren’t exactly happy about this either, but Lord Diavolo is in charge, the future king, so they have to listen whether they agreed or not.
After dinner and bidding everyone goodnight (not without some snarky remarks and sullen looks), you were lead to Lord Diavolo’s private chambers. You couldn’t lie, you were beyond nervous. You were sharing a bed with royalty, with no space separating you two. What if you drool? What if you accidentally kick him? What if you talk in your sleep and Lucifer somehow hears you and punishes you for it?
Okay that last one might be a bit of a stretch, but it’s still a possibility!
“You have nothing to worry about MC.”
“Oh- I know Barb. It’s just...I don’t want to do anything embarrassing.”
“Nonsense. It’s not well to be stressed before sleep, so try to relax. The young master seems to be very elated knowing that you haven’t rejected his offer.”
You both reached his door, looking even more regal than what you imagined.
“I believe this is where we part”, Barbatos then turned to face you, bowing. “Please keep in mind my words MC. You have nothing to fret about, as you two will just be getting a good night’s rest. I hope that will be the only thing done this evening-”
“B-BARBATOS-”
“I’m merely joking, somewhat”, he chuckled at your distress. “Goodnight MC, please call if you need my assistance.”
You told him goodnight and watched him walk away, and prepared to knock on Lord Diavolo’s door. You weren’t expecting to turn around and see him standing in the doorway, the prince grinning widely, donned in his custom pajamas that you snuck for his birthday, the mini pumpkins and figures of him dancing gleefully.
“Ah MC! I was worried you wouldn’t show up! And these pajamas still fit so wonderfully”, he cackled.
“Are you ready for tonight?”
Golden eyes glimmering with mischief, his smile turning into a smirk as he spoke.
You gulped. You could only hope that you wouldn’t regret this.
“Then let’s begin, shall we?”
-
You overreacted.
You keep forgetting that while Lucifer is so uptight, Diavolo is the complete opposite. He wanted to see the human customs of what was done at sleepovers, so you showed him pretty much the basics: pillow fights, painting his nails (where you somehow spilled on his top and he just casually went the rest of the night without it), truth or dare, gossiping, all stuff that were normal to you he seemed overjoyed doing. But you weren’t whining about it at all, seeing Lor- Diavolo, with a genuine smile on his face not worrying about his duties is valuable to you.
If someone would have told you that you would be laying in bed voluntarily with a literal demon, the future King of Hell to be exact, you would have thought they were crazy and suggested that they get help ASAP. So the sight of him breathing softly and relaxed is surreal.
This could be the perfect moment for you both, if only he didn’t keep stealing the damn covers!
Why would he need all the covers anyway? You knew that demons have a higher body temp, running hotter than yours, but obviously that didn’t stop him from being a blanket hogger! This was the fifth time you woke up because of being so cold and missing the warmth of the blankets, and you would every so often grab atleast one that you could wrap yourself in. But it seems that your efforts were futile, as he just kept grabbing at them.
You didn’t understand it. Everytime he got the blankets, he would just grasp them tightly against himself, not even covering himself with it. Maybe he’s having a nightmare? No...he kept smiling to himself, so maybe just a good dream?
You thought that was it, until he snuggled deeper into the stolen covers and you heard your name escape his mouth more than once.
Was he...dreaming of you?
Despite being kind of embarrassed and honored to be on his mind (atleast the feeling is mutual), you’re freezing. So, you decided to take a leap of faith and kill two birds with one stone. You slowly gripped the covers and slowly moved it off of him like you were doing before, and then waited for the right moment.
It shouldn’t take long, and you don’t know what time it is, but you weren’t going to miss it. As he went to grab at them again, you threw them on the other side of your body, only keeping one large enough for the both of you. The plan was to share one blanket and “mysteriously” end up in his arms, cuddling if possible. The bed was huge, so there was no way that he could get to them, unless he rolled over you to-
Oh no.
You didn’t want to be crushed to death by Diavolo! Yes, you have pictured sharing a bed with him more than once and you don’t mind doing this again in the future (minus the blanket stealing), but you didn’t want to die like this!
You cocooned yourself with the blanket as you tried to roll away when you saw his arm reaching, but it was too late.
He clenched the blanket, your body practically swaddled and dragged you to him, circling his arms around you and nestling into you. He somehow managed to unravel you and pull the blanket over you both, all the while being dead asleep (which was both fascinating and scary). He breathed a sigh of relief and mumbled something incoherently (although you did hear your name a couple of times).
Well you’re warm now, and in his arms, so you guess that this wasn’t too bad, as you could feel yourself dozing off.
You had a feeling that you would stay sleep now.
Bonus:
You felt movement underneath your head, which awoke you from your slumber. You surprisingly felt well rested, raising your head up when-
“Good morning, MC! How was your sleep? I hope I wasn’t too much of a disturbance.”
That’s right.
You’re in Diavolo’s room. You two spent the night together. And he hogged the blankets all night!
“You blanket thief! I almost froze to death because of you!”
He just chuckled at you, “Oh MC, you should know that I wouldn’t let that happen! And it seems like that wasn’t an issue, I’m keeping you nice and warm now, aren’t I?”
And you’re still in his arms, him cradling you to his chest.
Damn Dia and his handsome pecs!
You didn’t really have a rebuttal, but you didn’t have time either as you could hear Barbatos announcing through the door his presence and the shouts of Mammon and Asmo carrying with it.
You sighed, you guessed that this would have to come to an end eventually, but why so soon? It seemed like Diavolo shared the same sentiment, but he didn’t let you have time to dwell on it.
After a soft kiss to your forehead, you both got up and you left to get ready for the day and to calm the brothers down. You weren’t expecting to get held back, Diavolo leaning down to gently peck your hand, like he was your own Prince Charming.
“Thank you for being my company, MC. And I do hope that this continues to happen in the future.”
“Of course, Dia.”
Once it was just him and Barbatos, he made sure to schedule another retreat, just you and him. You make him feel as if he’s not as lonely as he’s used to.
Besides, the brothers always have you, and it’s finally his turn to be a little selfish.

9 Stunning Medieval Perched Villages in Calabria, Italy
A world above the cities and magnificent beaches, the magic of Calabria, the southernmost region of the Italian peninsula, is found more in its perched villages than its monuments.
If you think you’ve already seen Italy because you’ve been to Rome, Venice, and Milan, you made an impressive dent in the culture of the country’s cities but you missed a lot of its magic. Atop Italy’s many mountains, in various states of decay and preservation, hundreds of villages remain from the middle ages (and earlier). Every one of them is a photographer’s paradise of snaking alleys and frenetically stacked houses with killer views, and many have fantastic beaches below, but each of them has a distinct personality worth discovering. It’s within these villages that you’ll truly come to know the Italian people and culture much more than in the crowded cities (and you’ll definitely get more invites to nonna’s house for homemade pasta).
Altomonte
Tumblr media
Perched above the Esaro River valley, surrounded by mountains and overlooking lake streams, the medieval village of Altomonte is so prized by Italian brides for its pristine views and romantic architecture that it’s been dubbed “the wedding city.” Not getting married? You can still find romance (of the historical variety) with a stay in a 12th-century castle that’s now a hotel, or a visit to Renaissance-era library in a Dominican monastery. While the village stays current with music festivals and even modern art spaces, it’s truly the past that keeps Altomonte alive and high atop the list of Italy’s most beautiful villages.
Amantea
Tumblr media
Famous for its chocolate-covered figs, Amantea dates back to the 7th century and boasts Byzantine castle ruins at its highest point. Winding down the hillside through the old village, you’ll find a 15th-century church with a sea view worthy of the divine—the perfect place to stop and indulge in the village’s traditional pistachio gelato. At the bottom, there’s nearly a mile of modern shops leading straight to Amantea’s coastline and its seemingly endless beach lined with the occasional bar and plenty of beach volleyball matches.
Badolato
Tumblr media
High atop Mt. Saint Nicholas in Calabria is the thousand-year-old village of Badolato Superiore. With about 200 full-time residents, much of the village is empty but this no ghost town. A handful of engaged community groups, in conjunction with the local government, are actively renovating centuries-old houses and restoring them to upscale homes.
Today, a colorful cast of international transplants makes up a fair percentage of the village’s residents, but Badolato remains authentic Calabrian to its core. Italian moms still hand-roll pasta in restaurant kitchens, labyrinthine alleyways confound and amaze as they wrap up and around the mountainside through impossibly thin openings, and the siesta is a well-honored afternoon mandate.
Bova
Tumblr media
Three thousand feet up with views of the Ionian Sea and Mt. Etna, it’s no wonder that Bova has been occupied since Neolithic times, sought and conquered by the Greeks, Romans, Vandals, Arabs, and Normans (among others) in its pre-Italian history. Dozens of noteworthy churches and palazzos speckle the village, but the castle ruins offer an astounding panoramic view worth climbing for.
For something out of the ordinary among Italy’s mountaintop offerings, check out Bova’s paleontology museum. And if you’ve ever dreamed of a palace made of wine, be sure to visit Palazzo Nesci. Local lore holds that the palazzo’s red stones are a result of a water shortage during construction, prompting the masons to use wine instead.
Fiumefreddo Bruzio
Tumblr media
A mouthful to say, Fiumefreddo Bruzio has plenty more than its name to stuff your mouth with. While the chili pepper reigns supreme throughout most of the Southern Italy, cheese takes a strong second place here. From provolone to ricotta, this village specializes in a boatload of cheeses, but the most unique is filiciata, a soft cheese served in fern leaves. After a day of eating, climb the castle ruins for a dreamy sunset over the Tyrrhenian Sea, seen through crumbling windows originally shaped in 1201.
Gerace
Tumblr media
Gerace is perched on a 1600-foot mass of sea fossils 60 million years old, and that’s pretty cool.
Gerace’s castle was constructed as early as the 900s and most of the surrounding medieval town remains intact, including over 100 churches and buildings carved directly out of the surrounding rock. Another excellent wine producer (with vineyards originally planted by Ancient Greeks), Gerace is also known for its ceramics, which make great souvenirs. Though Gerace claims awesome sea views, like most of the mountaintop towns in Italy, the beach is actually six miles from this sky-high perch—a testament to the clear skies and pristine vistas of Calabria.
Morano Calabro
Tumblr media
Italy’s calendar of religious festivals is more than overcrowded—it’s overrun with them. But for events of a more unique variety, the red-roofed village of Morano Calabro has some quirkier options ranging from a folklore festival to the banner-waving festival, complete with medieval reenactments. If you arrive between festivals, there’s plenty of twisty-turny exploration to uncover, and a couple must-sees like the 5th-century monastery of San Bernadino and the church of Santa Maria Maddalena, whose brilliantly tiled cupola can be seen from just about anywhere in the center of Morano Calabro.
Pentedattilo
Tumblr media
A 1783 earthquake drew most of Pentedattilo’s population away from its mountaintop perch, and it finally reached total abandonment in the 1960s. The ghost town remained untouched until the 1980s when international Europeans began restoring a small portion of the village. Today, some of the streets and buildings have been restored by these multinationals, and the village is secured enough to host an annual summer fest and even a film festival. Still, most of the village sits as it has for ages, an empty setting rife for adventure, particularly alluring at night when it is dramatically lit from below.
Stilo
Tumblr media
Stilo’s history dates back over two thousand years and its Calabrian surroundings are so beautiful that monks carved rooms and churches out of the natural rocks to set up life here. By the 10th century, proper churches were on the scene, and one of Italy’s most famous Byzantine examples, Chiesa dell’Annunziata, still stands on the ancient Greek temple columns borrowed for its construction. Stilo is a small village, but the charm of its winding lanes and storied arches revealing views of olive groves, vineyards, and the Ionian Sea make it well worth a stop on any village itinerary.

Half of the sky is a blue galaxy / and the rest is glowing with the sunset
I'll be here waiting for you
I don’t care who you choose / I’ll be satisfied at the fact / that I told you my honest feelings / you don’t need to know / how nervous I was
Answer me / is my heart right for you?
And I keep seeing them in front of my eyes. Am I dreaming? It's that beautiful.
How can I let this heart go as if nothing happened?
Among the streets we’ll walk past each other without knowing / I hope we remember each other / even in our next life / even at that time / I’ll go to you
Every look / every touch / makes me wanna give you my heart
I spend the night / you by my side / can't close my eyes / haven't held you in a while
The many memories that you have presented me / each and every one of them is special
I know better / this is more than that / you are my everything
It's too late / the last train to return to you has stopped
Even as I need you every day / I push you away
I will still feel the same way about you / we'll be alright / I want to try again
Pretending to be okay makes me evеn lonelier
For reasons I don’t know, I keep looking for you in my dreams
But, you see, when I open my eyes early in the morning, alone / And I learn that you are not by my side / Tears start flowing without me realizing
You told me to dream good dreams now / I don’t wanna fall asleep without you
Can you tell me about you? / I want to know even the smallest things about you
Wishes come true as sleepless miracles

Surpriiiise.
It’s my two year anniversary on this blog here. And I didn’t quite know what I should do because I can’t really do anything to celebrate big right now.  So I thought it would be a cute idea to make a little timeline (mostly for myself) to reminisce about my time on here.  So below the cut, you’ll find a little timeline that reflects my journey on here. Thank you to everyone who had joined me on this little trip!
I’m so glad I could make some friends on here and keep meeting new and incredibly sweet people!  I think they all know that they’re included in this when they’re reading this, so I won’t tag them all. Just know that I cherish all of you loads 🤍

11.17.20 Update
Hello, it’s father Jasper back with the update I was talking about earlier!! So, let’s get into it. I am going on vacation for the next few weeks! I’m very excited to relax but I’ll be out of town so I apologize if I’m not as active as I normally am. That doesn’t mean I won’t be updating this blog, because I will, but less frequently. Under the cut details what I am currently working on:
➼ 100 followers fic: This is almost finished! I am very excited to get this to the winner @meat-husband. It’s crazy to think that when I first started working on this, I just hit 100 followers, and now I’m close to 200! I plan on doing something special for 300, but I’ll elaborate more on that in a future post.
➼ Kinktober: I know what you guys are thinking. “Jas, you haven’t updated it in 4 days. What gives?” No fear! I still intend to finish all of the prompts and post the two additional entries at the end. It will be super slow, but I’m determined to finish it!
➼ Asks/suggestions: I will be answering these in my spare time, to warm up, or when I just miss you guys. I apologize if I am slow to answer asks, but I can assure you that I see all of them and that I appreciate every single one I receive.
➼ Bruno/Reader Elizabethan AU: I am still on the fence about this. In this post I made a month ago, I had a dream that I felt like would make a very amazing fic. I’m not sure if I want to do a one-shot or a multi chapter work. This is something I’m considering doing, but I’m not sure. Let me know what you think.
Anyway, I hope you all have a lovely day, and thank you for sticking with me

"You've got no choice." 253. "I know that you think I'm so insane." 254. "I just love the way you say my name." 256. "Over and over, your words keep me going." 257. "I just get so insecure." 258. "Honestly, I've never been so sure." 259. "I can love you all at once." 260. "Cross my heart and swear that it's true." 261. "Boy, you know you're always on my mind." 262. "All my friends, they hear about you all the time." 263. "I know I talk a bit too loud." 264. "Make up your fucking mind." 265. "Never forget it." 266. Hiya~ Can I request quote 9) "Are you jealous?" for Lucifer in Obey Me! pretty please😊
This was so much fun to write! Luci know that he gets jealous but never wants to admit (his jealousy is worse than Mammon but you didn’t hear it from me 🤭) and sorry this got kinda long! Reader is gender neutral!
TW: suggestive/spicy themes, but nothing extremely graphic is mentioned
Prompt: “Are you jealous?” with Lucifer!
Tumblr media
Lucifer is pissed.
He’s tapping his foot, and constantly checking his phone, waiting in his study for you to either walk in or call him. It’s late, and you’re still not home yet. He asked his brothers where exactly you are, and when Asmo told him that you’re out with the same “friend” you seem to blow all of them off for some time now, it just makes his mood turn even more sour, the scowl on his face deepening.
Now, Lucifer is not opposed to you making friends, as long as they aren’t a threat to you, his family, Lord Diavolo and the other exchange students. He understands that it’s very easy for you to connect with others, intentional or not, and he encourages it to a certain extent. However, this same “friend” that you’ve been increasingly been hanging out with for the past couple of weeks is starting to rub him the wrong way. Of course he’s met this “friend”, a classmate from your Seductive Speechcraft class (which just made him feel more unease with you being with them), and they seemed harmless enough (for a demon at least). Annoying, but harmless, at first.
Then began the constant need for your attention.
It started with the messages and calls under the guise of studying, the “innocent” demon begging you for help so that they can pass the class, and you being the naive nice human that you are of course obliged their request. Then it escalated from once a week, to three times a week, to almost staying after school every day just to “help”. He didn’t like that, as it’s him or his brothers that always walk you home every time, and this demon (who he found is Yuki, a demon who feeds off of sexual energy nonetheless), is messing with the routine, but he kept his cool and forced his brothers to do the same. He- They weren’t happy about this, but at the end of the day, you’re still coming home to him- them, and nothing is changing that. Not to mention how he made sure that someone had their eyes on you, whether it’s Mammon, Beel, or even himself (which he preferred).
Until Yuki decided that you need to hang out more, without him or his brothers.
That’s when he made it known of his dislike towards them, and dislike is putting it lightly.
You started to come home right at dinner, right before Beel devoured your plate. Mammon obviously voiced his displeasure aloud, with the others silently agreeing or making passing comments, but Lucifer would just shut the conversation down before anyone gets too upset, mainly for himself. He doesn’t want to lose control over something trivial like this, he can’t, he won’t- he’s well above some minuscule pest like them, and it would be a waste of time and energy to be worried about someone who is clearly below him!
He’s already irritated with Yuki integrating themselves into your everyday life, but he’s also trying to fight the increasing sinking feeling in his stomach the more you both bond.
The more you two become more than acquainted with one another, the more Lucifer tries to fight and hide this feeling. He buries himself in more paperwork, practically locks himself in his study, avoids anyone’s questions or concerns, and has become overall snappier than usual. He’s even snapped on Lord Diavolo, Lord Diavolo of all people!
(Granted Diavolo just thought it was overall stress, so he just simply laughed it off, but it didn’t go unnoticed by everyone, including you).
Now Lucifer is not stupid, he’s a very intelligent and powerful demon, and he doesn’t have to say it to be known. He made sure to do some research himself on Yuki, and didn’t put anything past them. You’re still surrounded by demons who wouldn’t hesitate to swallow you whole if allowed, and some are still desperate enough to try anything, so he’s very cautious with others being around you.
Which leads to now, you being out again with that demon at The Fall. Ever since, Lucifer retired to his study, constantly checking his phone for any updates. He refused to look distressed in front of everyone, and he knows that you’re smart and not so gullible, you’ll be okay, you had to be.
It’s well going on 1 in the morning, and you still haven’t answered any of his calls and texts? You swore that you would always answer him, so something had to happen. What exactly were you doing? What exactly were you two doing? We’re you okay? Are you safe? Has that Yuki tried anything with you?
Were you two doing anything now?
All of these questions swirling around in his head, his worry only adding on to his frustrations and building tension going through his body.
He already marched down to the door, coat forgotten and tie undone, flinging it open and scowl so deep that his fangs were bared. That Yuki better hope that you come home in one piece and spotless, or else he will make sure that they regret being alive-
He couldn’t wipe the surprised look on his face when he made eye contact with you, who was matching his own expression, hand frozen in the air mid knock.
“Lucifer? What are you still doing up? Are you about to go somewhere?” His expression quickly morphed to one of high distaste, the irritation displaying clearly on his face and his grip tightening on the door.
“I was still awake waiting for you. Have you forgotten how to use a phone, or are you too good for one now that you’re with your ‘friend’. And I remember specifically telling you to let me know when you leave, did I not?”
“Oh. Well...my phone kinda died, but I was already on the way home and-”
“By yourself?! Do you know how irresponsible that is? Do you forget that you’re a mere human?”
His irritation is rising to pure anger at this revelation. So that demon didn’t even have the decency to walk you home? To make sure that you arrive safe? And yet you still have the nerve to spend time with them and practically ignore him?!-
“Well- um, Lucifer? Lucifer!”
He snapped out of his murderous thoughts, and stepped aside to let you in.
“Come inside now, it’s late, and we have much to discuss.”
Your face scrunched up, showing confusion in how he’s acting. You know that’s he mad about your phone being dead, but he’s mad enough to leave the door barely hanging on its hinges? But you knew that arguing or pointing it out would just make things escalate, so you just stepped past and began to make your way up the stairs.
You can feel his eyes bore into the back of your head, but you just didn’t understand why. It’s about more than just your phone, it seemed like he’s been on edge for awhile now. You want to approach him, to ask him what’s wrong, to have him open up, but of course Lucifer being Lucifer, it was to no avail.
You racked your brain as he lead you to his room and began the “conversation” about how irresponsible you were being (really it’s just him getting whatever he needed off his chest and not you giving any input). Was it because of you going out so late? No, you didn’t drink, you and Yuki stayed together the whole night, and you let him know hours before. Was it Yuki? Now that you’re think about it, he has been frowning more it seemed like every time you brought up their name-
The pieces are starting to fit together now.
Oh my Diavolo.
You couldn’t stop the words escaping from your mouth before you could realize it.
“Lucifer, are you jealous?”
He choked in the middle of his sentence, and the room went quiet. You’re pretty sure that you can’t even hear him breathing, and his face just went entirely blank, no expression whatsoever.
Oh no, you broke him-
A gust of wind erupted, so strong that you had to shield your eyes for a second, and when you removed your arm, you were met with massive black wings and a very enraged demon.
“Excuse me?”
You stepped back until you stumbled onto the bed, as he stalks closer and closer to you.
“Care to repeat yourself?”
You knew better than to respond, and you felt frozen on the bed. You also know that Lucifer won’t attack or try to kill you, but it didn’t take away from the fact that he has moments where he’s very intimidating, one of those moments being now.
He’s looking down at you like a predator would to its captured prey, his ruby eyes glowing deviously in the dim room. He didn’t stop moving until he was on top of you, caging you in.
“Me? Jealous?” He scoffed. “I am the Avatar of Pride, the most powerful being in this house, yet you assume that I’m jealous of a demon that’s beneath me? You insult me, MC.”
He took hold of your chin, “Do you not remember what I said when we made the pact? You are mine and mine alone. Not anyone else’s, but mine.”
You felt like your nerves were getting the best of you, but you couldn’t force yourself to tear away as he leaned closer. He sealed his lips against yours in a heated kiss, one that you gladly accepted, not before uttering the words that made your heart race even faster.
“Maybe I should remind you of who you belong to, hm?”
—-
“Had a fun night, MC?”
“Yeah, it was”, you coughed in your hand. “Very nice, very fun. We had a great time.”
“Hmmmmm...you and Yuki or you and Lucifer?”
“Asmo!”
He giggled, “I’m just saying dear. I don’t sense the pent-up sexual frustration from Lucifer anymore, and he seems back to normal and even relaxed. Though I must say MC, I wish that you had spent the night in my bed instead.”
“Of course you do Asmo.”
“Besides, I would have covered your hickeys much better-”
“ASMO-”
“MC, are you ready?”
Speak of the devil and he shall appear has never been more true than now, as Lucifer appeared behind you both, placing his hand on your shoulder.
“Huh? Oh, yes, sorry.”
“Eh? Where are you two going?”
“Out.”
“And without me?!”
“Yes. Now, leave us be”. Lucifer moved his hand from your shoulder to your own hand, leading you both out the door. You two had plans for the day after the...eye-opening talk from last night, and he didn’t want to waste anymore time than he already had.
Bonus:
Asmo waited until he heard the door click, and then quickly whipped out his D.D.D. to text Yuki. He knew that the plan was going to be a success! A tense Lucifer made things more difficult for everyone, and he has too much pride to open his mouth so he decided to step in and team up with Yuki, who already knew about the whole ordeal.
Lucifer was already on the edge of snapping and letting his primal instincts take over anyway, so Asmo just gave him a little push in the right direction.
Thank Diavolo the plan worked, or else it would be hell for them both. He did owe Yuki some exposure on his socials in exchange for this and backing off of you now, but it was well worth the trouble.

10 Lesser Known Child Disappearances
A couple of months ago we did some articles on unsolved mysteries. We are thinking of bringing them back. So today we are going to start with 10 Lesser Known Child Disappearances.
01. Michaela Joy Gareth
The kidnapping of Michaela Gareth is probably one of the better known cases on this list. At the time the case gained national attention, especially for the notoriety of how the kidnapping was acted out.
Michaela was 9 years old in 1988 living with her mother, father and two siblings in Hayward California. On the first day of Thanksgiving vacation Michaela and best friend Trina begged for permission to go the supermarket just two blocks away to buy candy and sodas. Though Michaela had never been there alone and her mother’s initial response was no, the girls kept pleading and in her mother eventually gave in.
Michaela and Trina arrived at the supermarket on their scooters, parked them outside and went in and purchased candy, soda and beef jerky. They left the supermarket by foot at first, forgetting that they had ridden on there on their scooters but quickly remembering and running back to fetch them. Michaela’s scooter had been moved from its spot in front of the supermarket door and put next to a damaged tannish-gold full-size sedan car. As she went to pick it up, a man in his 20’s with dirty-blonde hair and severe acne jumped out of the car, threw a screaming Michaela in the car and sped away.
Though an extensive police investigation was launched and the Hayward Police department received more then 5000 tips the first year alone, no trace of Michaela or her kidnapper was ever found. Michaela’s mom runs a website with letters to Michaela and updates about leads.
02. Eugene Wade Martin
You can’t talk about the disappearance of Eugene without mentioning another missing boy, John Gosch. Though vanishing two years apart, the details of their disappearances are eerily similar. Both were fresh faced paperboys living in Des Moines in the 80s, both had a paper route delivering the Des Moines Register in the wee hours and both never returned home one morning.
Normally 13-year old Eugene did the paper route with his older stepbrother but on this fatal morning he was alone. Eugene was last seen around 5 and 6am (accounts differ) wearing blue jeans, a red shirt and a gray pullover having a friendly conversation with a 30-something clean-cut white male in a car. Witnesses describe the chat as being friendly, almost father-and-son like, with no indication of danger. Between 6.10 and 6.15am Eugene’s lonely paper-bag was found outside of Des Moines, 10 neatly folded papers still inside.
At around 8.40 am the police were notified. Federal agents stated they strongly suspected John Gosch’s and Eugene’s disappearances were linked but though an nation wide bulletin was issued for the suspect, who they described as likely being an introvert and a loner, the boys and their suspected kidnapper remain missing. John Gosch story was propelled into the spotlight again during the late 90s following his mother, Noreen Gosch, claim that a now grown-up Gosch had visited her with a strange man, telling a horrifying tale about being sold into a pedophile prostitution ring, escaping and now living in hiding in fear for his life. Investigators have never been able to confirm Noreen’s account about the visit and John has never visited his mother again.
03. Cherrie Ann Mahan
Cherrie was 8 years old when she vanished February 22, 1985 and was the first child to appear on The Centre for Missing and Exploited Children’s “Have You Seen Me?” search cards. The dark-haired third-grader from the Winfield Elementary School was last seen getting off the school bus only less than 100 yards from her family’s rural Pennsylvanian home, carrying a blue backpack decorated with a blue and red heart.
She never made it. Though new fallen snow covered the driveway to Cherri’s house investigators were not able to match any footprints to Cherri, leading them to believe, she was snatched off the side of the road. Possible only a minutes after leaving the bus, most likely by someone she knew as the shy child would not have gotten into a car with a stranger. A mysterious van was seen trailing Cherri’s school bus and though no one got a look at the driver, the van had distinctive features, making it easy to remember.
The van had snow-capped mountains and a skier skiing down the mountain wearing red and yellow clothes painted on both sides. Police was never able to locate the car or its driver and it is still unknown whether or not the car has anything to do with Cherri’s disappearance.
04. Lindsey Baum
In 2009 Lindsey, a bright, talkative blond-haired, blue-eyed 10-year-old living in McCleary, Washington, dreamed of becoming a veterinarian or an author when she grew up.
On June 26 Lindsey spent the evening at a friends house. Afraid of the dark and knowing she had a curfew at 10pm, she left her friends house around 9.15pm, a journey that should only take her around 10 minutes to walk. A neighbor, who drove past the child half way between Lindsey and her friend’s home, is most likely the last person to see her.
The case drew national attention, FBI became involved and the Grays Harbor County Sheriff’s office followed up on hundreds of leads all to no avail. A local jewelry storeowner was named as a suspect and in 2011 his home was searched for possible clues to Lindsey’s disappearance. Though police stated they found several pieces of evidence, none could be linked definitively to Lindsey. To this day charges against the suspect has not been filed and what happened to Lindsey is still unclear.
05. Ricky Ray Barnet
Little Ricky had been visiting his grandparents on their Hillcrest Farms for a couple of weeks with his father in 1982, while his mother was in Idaho. At around 10 am the 2-year-old, clad in red and blue overalls, a pajamas top and cowboy boots was seen sitting in a hay wagon in front of one of the barns, watching a dozen or so workers unloading a delivery of chickens.
Approximately 15 minutes later he was discovered missing and at 10.30am after a fruitless search, the family called police. Though an immediate extensive search with more than 200 volunteers was launched, it yielded few clues to his whereabouts. Ricky’s grandparent’s farm was located seven miles north of Grangeville in a rural area surrounded by several hundred acres. Tracker dogs tracked the toddler’s scent to a fence line on the northwest part of the farm but then lost the trail. Police investigators first theorized that Ricky simply wandered away, got lost and succumbed to the elements. They recanted this later in the investigation after Ricky’s grandmother failed a polygraph. His grandparents were subsequently named as possible suspects in his disappearance.
Ricky’s grandmother was cleared for any involvement after passing a polygraph in 2001, almost two decades after her grandson’s disappearance. Ricky’s grandfather died before the exam could take place. The mystery of what happened to the hazel-eyed child remains unsolved.
06. Beverly Rose Potts
Though it has been more than 60 years since 10 year-old Beverly vanished after a trip to the park in Cleveland, Ohio, locals still remember her case. Around 9pm on August 24, 1951 Beverly set out on an 8 eight-minute walk home through her familiar neighborhood after spending the evening at the Showagon, an annual summer festival. Beverly’s mother Elizabeth who’d initially forbidden the shy fifth grader to go to the park, a punishment for being late a few nights before, had gave her special permission to attend the show this evening.
Beverly and her friend Patsy had already been at the park earlier that evening and returned to the carnival around 8.00 pm to see the show. Beverly was allowed to stay until the show was over while Patsy on the other hand had to be home before dark and left at around 8.40 leaving Beverly by herself. Patsy told police she last saw Beverly watching the show in company with a small, plump woman who curiously had her hand resting on Beverly’s shoulder. This woman has never been identified. When the show ended around 9.30pm a teenage acquaintance of Beverly’s recalled seeing her crossing the darkening park diagonally, heading in the northeast direction of her home. She never made it home and by 10.30 pm her frantic parents called the police.
As Beverly was described as being very shy and vary around strangers especially boys and men, people who knew her did not believe she would have gone willingly with a person she didn’t know. In 2000 the Cleveland Plain Dealer News reporter received 3 letters from an unidentified man confessing to Beverly’s kidnapping and murder. The man alleged to be on his deathbed prompting the confession. Investigators were however never able to locate the author of the letters and the authenticity of the confession has never been confirmed.
07. Kevin Andrew McCarthy Collins
A year and twelve days to the day Cherrie Ann Mahan was dropped off her school bus and vanished into thin air another child across the country waited for a bus that he never boarded. Kevin was a freckled, stocky build 10-year-old who enjoyed played basket, had nine siblings and resided with his Irish Catholic family in San Francisco.
Around 6.40 p.m. on February 12, 1985 Kevin had finished basketball practice and was waiting for the bus on the corner of Oak Street and Masonic Avenue to take him home. Witnesses last saw him wearing his school uniform, talking to a 20-30ish blonde man, around six feet tall. A big black dog, possibly a Great Dane, accompanied the man. No one actually witnessed anything suspicious and it is not clear if the unidentified man had anything to do with Kevin’s disappearance. A big search effort was launched, thousands of fliers were distributed, billboards and newspapers with Kevin’s picture became a common sight around the San Francisco area but police found no evidence and a suspect was never named.
In 2013 investigators started digging in the backyard and the basement of a house belonging to a person of interest in Kevin’s case, who had lived there at the time of Kevin’s disappearance. No remains or evidence related to Kevin’s case was unearthed and Kevin remains missing.
08. Diamond and Tionda Bradley
In 2002, 365 yellow and white balloons were released into the air at the 35oo block of South Lake Park Avenue in Chicago, Illinois. Afterwards a garden was planted in front of the modest two-bedroom apartment. All in remembrance of two young sisters who at that time had been missing for 1 year. The girls, one with a green ponytail holders in her hair, the other with violet and purple ones, are still missing.
On July 6 2001 3-year-old Diamond and 10-year-old Tionda left a note written in childish handwriting for their mother, saying the pair were walking to nearby shop and Doolittle School where Tionda was enrolled in summer classes. Their mother Tracey had left for work at around 6.30 am that morning and by the time she arrived home at 11 am the girls were nowhere to be found.
Though witnesses place the girls playing outside their residence at around 12-12.30 pm contradicting Tracey’s recollection of events, this sighting was never confirmed by officials. Police did start to suspect the family; Tracey, her mother and her father were somehow involved in the girl’s disappearance after Tracey refused to cooperate with investigators and allegedly shoved a police officer who tried to escort her to the station to discuss new leads in 2002.
They were all subsequently cleared of any wrongdoing. An extensive search and follow ups on thousand leads, one that took the investigation out of out country, yielded few clues to what happened to the Bradley sisters.
09. Jeremiah Huger
In most cases of child disappearances there are no witnesses to the actual abduction. It is as if the child is there one minute and gone with a blink of an eye. In some rare cases like Michaela Gareth’s case and in more recent memory Jaycee Dugard’s in California in 1991, the kidnapper risked the danger of being seen and snatched the child in clear view of neighbors, friends or family members, as seen in the kidnapping case of Jeremiah Huger.
On June 25, 1985 Jeremiah, wearing a light blue shirt, dark shorts and white sneakers, was playing with his friends in the yard of his home in the New York City borough of the Bronx. An unidentified African-American male called the 4-year-old’s name from street and when the child ran to him, the man proceeded to grab the boy and leave. It is not clear if the suspect left the area with Jeremiah by foot or car or if the boy went along willingly. Jeremiah’s mother later stated that she suspected an abusive ex-boyfriend, who had previously threatened to kidnap the child, was responsible. The police never made any arrests in relation to Jeremiahs case and he remains missing to this day.
10.Todd Eugene Collett
Todd was only a few months shy of his fourth birthday when he vanished on January 23, 1964 from Santa Barbara County, California. The blonde, blue-eyed boy was playing with his twin brother and their friend across the road from a construction side. Todd’s mother had strictly forbidden the boys to enter the construction side and while Todd’s twin obliged Todd and the friend ventured toward the dirt embankments on their own.
Around twenty minutes later the friend’s mother saw him across the street, went to get him and asked where Todd was. The boy could give no clear answer but mentioned something about a fire and a bulldozer. A fire did actually burn at the construction site and was not put out for hours but investigators were never able to find any sign of human remains in the ashes. Tracker dogs indicated that Todd might have travelled over the railroad tracks and over an overpass but never found any clues to what happened to him beyond this.
People in the area describe a scruffy looking stranger lurking around the neighborhood at the time the child disappeared. The individual has never been identified and Todd has never been found.

ight after the 2016 election, Green Party candidate Jill Stein—cheered on by Hillary Clinton dead-enders—sued in three states to recount votes and thereby overturn Donald Trump’s victory in the Electoral College. Before the quixotic effort imploded, Stein was praised as an iconic progressive social justice warrior who might stop the hated Trump from even entering the White House. When that did not work, B-list Hollywood celebrities mobilized, with television and radio commercials, to shame electors in Trump-won states into not voting for the president-elect during the official Electoral College balloting in December 2016. Their idea was that select morally superior electors should reject their constitutional directives and throw the election into the House of Representatives where even more morally superior NeverTrump Republicans might join with even much more morally superior Democrats to find the perfect morally superior NeverTrump alternative. When that did not work, more than 60 Democratic House members voted to bring up Trump’s impeachment for vote. Trump had only been in office a few weeks. Then San Francisco billionaire Tom Steyer toured the country and lavished millions on advertisements demanding Trump’s removal by impeachment—and was sorely disappointed when he discovered that billion-dollar-fueled virtue-signaling proved utterly bankrupt virtue-signaling. When that did not work, celebrities and politicians hit social media and the airwaves to so demonize Trump that culturally it would become taboo even to voice prior support for the elected president. Their chief tool was a strange new sort of presidential assassination chic, as Madonna, David Crosby, Robert de Niro, Johnny Depp, Snoop Dogg, Peter Fonda, Kathy Griffin, and a host of others linguistically vied with one another in finding the most appropriately violent end of Trump—blowing him up, burning him up, beating him up, shooting him up, caging him up, or decapitating him. Apparently, the aim—aside from careerist chest-thumping among the entertainment elite—was to lower the bar of Trump disparagement and insidiously delegitimize his presidency. When that did not work, during the president’s first year in office, the Democrats and the media at various times sought to invoke the 25th Amendment, claiming Trump was so mentally or physically impaired that he was not able to carry out the duties of president. At one point, congressional Democrats called Yale University psychiatrist Dr. Bandy X. Lee to testify that Trump was unfit to continue. In fact, to prove her credentials, Lee edited The Dangerous Case of Donald Trump that offered arguments from 27 psychiatrists and other mental health experts. In May 2017, acting FBI Director Andrew McCabe and Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein met secretly in efforts to poll Trump cabinet members to discover whether they could find a majority to remove Trump from office—again on grounds that he was mentally unbalanced. According to McCabe, Rosenstein offered to wear a wire, in some sort of bizarre comic coup attempt to catch Trump off-guard in a confidential conversation. When that did not work, 200 congressional Democrats in late 2018 sued in federal court to remove President Trump, claiming he had violated the esoteric Emoluments Clause of the Constitution that forbids federal officials from taking gifts, jobs, and titles from foreign governments. They alleged Trump’s presidency has enhanced his overseas real estate holdings and interests. Yet, according to some sources, the various Trump companies have lost some $1 billion in value after he took office—to the delight of the same critics who swore he has profited enormously as president. When that did not work, the ongoing “Resistance” both covertly and overtly sought ways to retard or destroy the Trump presidency—often by leaking presidential memos, conversations, and phone calls. An anonymous op-ed published in the New York Times on September 15, 2018 boasted of a plan of resistance to his governance and initiatives from those in the administrative state from inside the Trump Administration, most of them allegedly establishment Republicans. When that did not work, progressive heartthrob lawyer and now indicted Michael Avenatti reintroduced pornographic film star Stormy Daniels to the public. He claimed that Daniels had somehow been tricked into signing a supposedly improper and now invalid non-disclosure agreement not to talk about an alleged sexual encounter of a decade earlier with private citizen Trump in an exchange for a payment of $135,000. Allegedly, Trump’s acquiescence to Daniels’ veritable blackmail demands had now impaired her own opportunities of further profiting to a far greater degree from the past alleged tryst with a now President Trump. Until his recent indictment for a number of felonies, Avenatti himself had translated his work with Daniels into media celebrity-hood, appearing over 100 times on cable news shows to damn Trump, predict his impeachment, and prep his promised 2020 presidential run against Trump. When that did not work, federal law enforcement officials stormed the offices of Trump lawyer Michael Cohen, in search of incriminating materials. Cohen quickly was leveraged by federal attorneys, flipped, and offered anti-Trump testimonies and documents in exchange for leniency. He produced stealth tapes of private conversations with his own client Trump—and shortly afterward was disbarred by the New York State Supreme Court for pleading guilty to a series of felonies. When that did not work, Russian collusion hysteria continued to sweep the country. The moribund phony Steele dossier (that had failed to derail the Trump campaign and transition) was reignited by the media and progressive politicos after the firing of FBI director James Comey, leading to the recusal of Attorney General Jeff Sessions, and the emergence of Deputy Attorney General Rosenstein. Rosenstein then appointed Robert Mueller as special counsel—in a series of events prompted by none other than fired James Comey, who admitted that he illegally leaked confidential, if not some classified, presidential memos to create the conditions necessary for such a special appointment. Mueller’s subsequent media darling attorneys—praised as the “dream team,” “all-stars,” “army,” “untouchables,” and “hunter-killer team”—of mostly Democratic partisans, some Clinton donors, and a few who had defended either the Clinton Foundation or Clinton aides then spent 22 months, and between $30-40 million trying to build a case. In the end, they leveraged mostly minor Trump satellites on process crimes, misleading testimonies, or past business deals in hopes of finding collusionary guilt. Leaking was a Mueller team trademark as each week the collusionary media announced another “bombshell” or “noose tightening” around the neck of Donald Trump—or mysteriously showed up at the home of the next Mueller victim, to wait for the arrival of SWAT teams to swoop into make an arrest. When that did not work, congressional committees and the left-wing mob next went after William Barr, Trump’s “hand-picked” attorney general (are not all AGs “hand-picked” by the president?). Barr’s crime was that he had followed the law to the letter. And so Barr spent a few days after the arrival of the exonerating Mueller collusion report to ensure first, before releasing it to the public, that it did not endanger national security or besmirch the reputations of innocent named individuals. If in a blink, “collusion” had died, soon in its death throes it birthed “obstruction”—as if Trump’s objections to vast resources wasted on chasing an imaginary non-crime of collusion was obstruction When that did not work, congressional committees mobilized to sue and force Trump to release at least six years of his private income tax records, elements of which already in bits and pieces had been leaked. Are such efforts in the future to be institutionalized? Will the Left nod and keep still, if Republicans attempt to remove an elected Democratic President before his tenure is up? Are appeals to impeachment, the 25th Amendment, the Emoluments Clause, the Logan Act, and a Special Counsel the now normal cargo of political opposition to any future elected president? Is it now permissible in 2020 for Trump’s FBI director to insert an informant into the campaign of the Democratic presidential nominee? If Joe Biden is the 2020 nominee, will the Trump Justice Department seek FISA warrants to monitor the communications of Biden’s campaign team—in worries that Biden son’s business practices in the Ukraine had earlier compromised Biden who had intervened on his behalf by threatening to cut off aid to Ukraine? Will they investigate Biden’s propensity to hug and kiss under-aged girls? Will Trump’s CIA director contact foreign nationals to aid in spying on Biden’s aides? Will National Security Advisor John Bolton request that the names of surveilled Biden campaign officials become unmasked as a way of having them leaked to the media? Will Trump hire a British ex-spy to gather together rumors and gossip about Biden’s previous overseas trips and foreign contacts, especially in the Ukraine, and then see them seeded among the Trump CIA, FBI, Justice Department, and State Department? Is that the sort of country we have now? America over the last half century had been nursed on the dogma that the Left was the guarantor of civil liberties. That was the old message of the battles supposedly waged on our behalf by the ACLU, the free-speech areas on campuses, and the Earl Warren Court. Not now. The left believes that almost any means necessary, extra-legal and anti-constitutional or not, are justified to achieve their noble ends. Progressive luminaries at CNN and the New York Times have lectured us that reporters need not be disinterested any more in the age of Trump—or that it might be a crime to shout “lock her up” at a Trump rally. Will those standards apply to coverage of future Democratic presidents? No reporter seems to care that Hillary Clinton hired a foreign national to work with other foreign nationals to sabotage, first, her opponent’s campaign, then his transition and his presidency, along with the wink and nod help from key Obama officials at the Department of Justice, State Department, National Security Council, FBI and CIA. The final irony? If the CIA, FBI, and DOJ have gone the banana republic way of Lois Lerner’s IRS and shredded the Constitution, they still failed to remove Donald Trump. Trump still stands. In Nietzschean fashion what did not kill him apparently only made him stronger.

The ascent and fall of AMD: How an underdog adhered it to Intel Keep in mind when AMD could rival Intel in both speed and price?.
On June 10, 2000, Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) needed to gathering—and gathering enormous. The organization's CEO, Jerry Sanders, masterminded to lease the whole San Jose Arena (now called the HP Pavilion) and afterward paid truckloads of money to get Faith Hill and Tim McGraw, the couple down home music whizzes.
Workers "could present to anyone, your significant other, your children, your companions—it was enormous doings. There were festivities, endowments and honors," reviewed Fran Barton, who filled in as AMD's CFO from 1998 to 2001. The supervisor even got in on the good times. "[Sanders] was on a high wire, he did a unicycle ride. It was absolutely Hollywood. He could truly put on a show when he needed to put on a show."
Furthermore, why not celebrate in style? AMD's fruitful Athlon chips—Ars named the Athlon its "CPU of the Year" in 1999—had at last put the screws to archrival Intel, and in 2000 the organization earned almost $1 billion in benefits.
By 2005, years of strong chip outline and mechanical execution had the organization strolling with a swagger, as found in promoting stunts which tested Intel's then-present server processors to a "double center duel." Nowhere was this state of mind more obvious than AMD's 2005 claim against Intel for hostile to focused business hones.
Cynics didn't think the great circumstances could last. "I rode through a couple of such cycles and can review the pinnacle of wanton abundance and amazing scene in 2000 when AMD's then artist CEO, Jerry Sanders, clad in tight cowhide pants, shirt aired out to the midriff, slid to the phase of the HP Pavilion in a careful selector and reported that AMD's stock would take off to over $100 per share and that another [chip creation plant] would be inherent Austin," reviewed Bill Bushnell, a general population veteran programming engineer at AMD, in an email to Ars. "Neither happened."
AMD has been on a striking drop for about 10 years now. To understate the obvious, 2012 was an unpleasant year: AMD lost over $1 billion, adequately wiping out its $471 million benefit in 2010 and its $491 million benefit in 2011—its two most productive years in the most recent decade. In the course of the most recent 15 years, AMD has maintained a net loss of almost $7 billion, and the organization has been downsized by FICO score offices, consumed by lower interest for PCs (and subsequently, for its items), and even called "un-investable" by one Wall Street expert.
A month ago, the organization even sold (and afterward rented back) its corporate base camp in Austin, Texas for $164 million as an approach to make some brisk money. Following quite a while of specialized lurches, Intel now runs hovers around AMD in desktop, portable PC, and server CPUs, while newcomers like Qualcomm, Samsung, and Nvidia have utilized their low-control ARM chips to close AMD out of the expanding cell phone and tablet markets. What's more, faultfinders charge that the organization still has central auxiliary issues that go past specialized stumbles.
"There's no control on spending—even now, one of the issues is whether you investigate the pay structure," said Atiq Raza, the organization's previous president, boss specialized officer, and head working officer, in a discussion with Ars. "[AMD is] a sinking ship, in a general sense. I truly am sad for [current CEO Rory Read]. He's a well meaning individual however the ship has a tremendous opening in it. That $164 million will go in the blink of an eye."
Raza calls the organization's decrease "one of the immense bobbled chances of our time." How did AMD go from the best time frame in its history to one of its bleakest—and does the organization have a battling chance going ahead?
"I couldn't come up short"
At the point when Jerry Sanders was 18, he was beaten in a road battle by individuals who left him oblivious in a waste can. "They cracked my skull, broke my nose—that is the reason you're shooting from the left," Sanders revealed to Daniel Marrow of Computerworld (PDF) in 2000. "So my nose is not more screwy than typical, ribs—I mean only a fiasco. Furthermore, they exited me to bite the dust. They truly left me to bite the dust."
In any case, following three days in a state of extreme lethargy, Sanders revitalized.
"I once said 'I can kick the bucket, however I can't come up short'," he told the San Francisco Chronicle for a profile. "What I implied was, I was continually going to give it my everything. I couldn't come up short, since disappointment wasn't an alternative. I would bite the dust before I'd come up short."
Sanders went to work for Motorola and Fairchild Semiconductor, yet he didn't work yearn for others. He opened AMD for business on May 1, 1969—when he was only 33 years of age. He immediately established a notoriety for being insubordinate and conspicuous, and he kept a notice in his office which read, "Yea, however I stroll through the valley of the shadow of death, I should fear no insidious—for I am the meanest offspring of the devil in the valley."
"He's a blend between Don Quixote and Indiana Jones," previous CFO Barton stated, "a swashbuckling visionary, not hesitant to tilt at windmills and dream the unimaginable dream. His entire profession, his unimaginable dream was to fight Intel. What's more, he combat hard for quite a long time."
AMD started life as a moment source provider for organizations utilizing Intel processors. Organizations like IBM would not like to depend entirely on Intel for one of the essential segments in their PCs, so they authorized AMD to deliver renditions of processors like the 8088 and 80286. While these CPUs were fabricated by AMD (and, at times, AMD was really ready to clock the CPUs higher than their Intel partners), practically everything about their outlines originated from Intel.
Starting with Intel's 80386 in 1985, Intel quit giving AMD access to its plans. AMD needed to fashion its own particular manner, soon creating 386 and later 486 CPUs that were basically figured out renditions of Intel's parts.
In 1990, a Merrill Lynch investigator called AMD "dead," to a great extent in light of the time expected to figure out the chips, only one of ordinarily an examiner would say this in regards to the organization. Intel's 386 was discharged in 1985, for example, yet AMD's didn't show up until 1991; Intel's 486 was out in 1989, while AMD's wasn't available until 1993. The expanded intricacy of Intel's CPUs made the figuring out process more troublesome: Intel's 486 had 1.18 million transistors, and the first Intel Pentium chip had 3.1 million in 1993. The Pentium line rapidly developed more intricate, prompting the 5.5 million transistor Pentium Pro in 1995 and the 7.5 million transistor Pentium II in 1997. Contrasted with the 134,000 transistors in the 286, these were gigantically troublesome chips to reproduce, and however AMD sold a huge number of its renditions through forceful valuing, the technique wasn't feasible in the long term.Rolling their own
To remain aggressive, AMD made its first unique x86 outline, a Pentium-equal called the K5. This CPU was generally similar to the Pentium's execution, however it came to advertise in 1996, a year after the Pentium Pro.
A modest Silicon Valley organization named NexGen, in the mean time, was doing what AMD proved unable: bringing on Intel with a generally miniscule group of only 60 engineers and a touch of subsidizing from IBM. The organization was going by Atiq Raza, a splendid Pakistani architect taught in the United Kingdom and the United States, who had landed in the US in 1979 with just $3,000 in real money to his name. (By 2009, Raza put his Palo Alto domain available to be purchased at $24 million; he wound up not offering it.) Raza needed to go up against Intel, as well, however he realized that he couldn't do it at NexGen's present size.
Microsoft CEO Bill Gates demonstrated an enthusiasm for NexGen and had a 45-minute meeting with Raza that extended into a four-hour supper. Doors recommended that Raza address Sanders since AMD claimed a chip fab however required a superior item to work in it. Raza said he might want to chat with Sanders yet said he didn't know how to achieve the AMD CEO, significantly less inspire him to focus.
"The first occasion when I was acquainted with Jerry Sanders, he didn't delay sufficiently long to hear my name—he continued calling me Raja," Raza told Ars. "He did that constant for 45 minutes revealing to me how AMD will pound me. I remained there with a grin all over, however how would I speak with such a man? Charge stated, 'Jerry ought not be disparaged—he has three qualities: he's keen, he's greatly self important, and he's totally arbitrary.'"
Doors gotten the telephone.
"Without Bill deciding, we would not have had that energy," Raza admitted.AMD bought NexGen in 1995 for $615 million. Raza moved toward becoming president and head working officer of AMD and was broadly seen to be Sanders' possible successor—as per the Wall Street Journal, Sanders even named Raza "the Michael Jordan of chip plan." AMD additionally gotten NexGen's in-advance CPU, the Nx686. After a few troubles adjusting the plan for assembling in AMD's offices (instead of the IBM manufacturing plants for which it had been composed), AMD in 1997 delivered a CPU that was focused with Intel's Pentium II however which could be embedded into the then-pervasive Socket 7 motherboards utilized by the first Pentium, considering simple set up overhauls.
This CPU was known as the K6, and denoted a defining moment for AMD—it could rival Intel in both speed and cost.
"The Pentium MMX is currently a totally out of date CPU!" fan site Tom's Hardware broadcasted in April 1997. "The K6 233 will be evaluated lower than the Pentium MMX 200 and it's quicker than this CPU in practically every regard... The K6 is quicker than any present CPU under Windows 95 and will most likely be similarly as quick as the Pentium II at a similar clock speed."
The K6 later transformed into the K6-2, which appeared a year later, and after that the K6-III, which gone on for the heft of 1999. While those moves may have looked clear to the general population, things weren't so smooth off camera.

Hello! Would it be alright to request Scenario 8 for Mammon? ♡♡ I dont know if you take like additional requests onto the prompt but itd be nice if the MC was very soft and never usually got into trouble themselves haha, but thats all! Hope this isnt too much sorry ;3;
Ever since the Doll!MC headcanons I have developed a soft spot for soft MC 😌💓 (I am so sorry for the cornyness lol) but this isn’t Doll!MC it’s just a soft MC. Ngl, I didn’t know whether this was interpreted as MC arguing or Mammon arguing and after rewriting this like 3 times I just went with soft MC being the one arguing. They’re still soft so hope that’s okay 😭! Reader is gender neutral!
Prompt Scenario: “Person B gets into a heated argument with someone. Person B begins threatening them, so Person A picks up Person B and carries/drags them out of the room before anyone gets hurts.” with Mammon!
Tumblr media
You and Mammon went to the café after school to study and do some homework, after he convinced you that the “environment” would totally help him focus (where really it was for just a break and some time to spend with you, but you’re fine with that), and dragged you here. You’re trying to help him with his Hexes and Curses homework, but you two are having too much fun eating the variety of pastries and laughing together, so you suggested a quick break to get back focused.
“See MC, told ya this is a good idea!” Taking a bite of your slice of cake, he leaned back, arms folded behind his head. “And look at how much we’re getting done!” Well he wasn’t wrong, he does seem like he’s understanding the material more, and he’s actually getting some of his work done instead of putting it off like usual. Plus, he’s relaxed, genuinely smiling, and that’s enough for you to be smiling too.
“Well you were right! After all, they don’t call you the Great Mammon for nothing.”
“Y-Yeah! You got that right!” He couldn’t even hide the blush on his face quick enough, but you just laughed softly at him, eating some more. “Now, are you ready to do some more work? If we start now we might have time to-”
“Oh my Diavolo, do you ever shut up?”
You both froze, and Mammon looked past your head to pinpoint the source of the voice. Neither of you recognized the demon, but it didn’t take long for Mammon to growl at them. “Oi! Who the hell do you think you’re talking to-”
“Mammon please, it’s okay! I was probably being a little loud”, you tapped his hand and turned to face the demon. “Sorry about that! I didn’t mean to disturb you-”
“You’re really going to listen to this human? What are you, their dog?” He just laughed, wiping a fake tear from his eye. “You’re the Avatar of Greed, supposedly the strongest right under Lucifer himself, and you’re letting this tell you what to do? HAH! How pathetic.”
Mammon opened his mouth, no doubt ready to argue, but you beat him to it.
“Hey! You shouldn’t say that, he’s not pathetic!”
“He is if he’s lowering himself to your standards. Geez, even following that shady wizard Salmon would've been better than this."
"Actually, his name is Solomon, and that's not very nice to say either-"
"Does it look like I care? Cause I don't. All you humans are the same to me anyway; always beneath me."
You just sighed and turned back around, he isn't worth the trouble. Even after your time down here, while most demons have come to terms with bettering the relationship between you two, some still held onto their beliefs and were highly against it. Mammon was fuming across the table, slamming his textbook closed and shoving whatever papers he could inside his bag. He's trying to keep his cool, but just hearing the words coming out of his mouth is making his patience run thin, and he doesn't need to lose control in front of you. "C'mon MC, let's go."
"Huh, Mammon, you sure? We haven't finished our work yet."
"It's fine, we can do it at home. Besides, it's almost time for dinner and Satan's makin' dried blackberry newt legs, and I don't want Beel to eat 'em all again!"
You couldn't stop the guilt from bubbling in your stomach after you saw the fake smile he sent your way, but you understood. Your time was spoiled by this stranger, but you promise to make it up to him in anyway you can! His hand was already on the door, pushing it open-
"Tch, no wonder everybody sees you as a disgrace."
“Oh yeah?! Come say that to my fac-” He spun around, moving his way towards the man-
“What is your problem?”
Mammon is shocked. You, the most delicate and soft-spoken person he’s ever came in contact with, who never gets in trouble, so kind that he swears that you’re an real angel, who hated any type of conflict, is actively arguing in his defense.
"You all are always picking on him, always attacking him for no reason! It's not right, it's not fair, and he doesn't deserve that kind of treatment!" You couldn't stop the tears welling up in your eyes. "Why can't you see how much that hurts him? Why can't you bring yourself to care?! Just because you're a demon doesn't mean you have to act so heartless!"
Now the café was going quiet, both customers and employees looking on at the dispute.
"You're just being so mean, acting so ugly, and for no reason too! You're talking about how much a disgrace he is, but look at how you're acting. If anything, you're the one being a disgrace right now."
"Do you think I'm going to let a weakling like you talk down to me?!"
"And you think I'm going to let you keep attacking Mammon?!"
“Oh yeah, what are you gonna do about it if I do? Cry some more?”
"No, but what I will do is- EEP!"
You couldn't stop the squeak coming from your lips as you felt yourself being swept off your feet, literally. You got even more flustered when you saw Mammon's exposed chest and felt just how hot his skin was against yours. You felt the breeze of the Devildom air hit your face, and then remember seeing everything in a blur as he took off in the night sky.
---
"Hey MC, you okay?"
Mammon stood outside your door with your dinner, fidgeting and shuffling nervously foot to foot. Once you two got home, you stormed to your room, tears barely being held back. He went to follow suit, but was stopped by the others who were both worried and ready to rip him a new one all at once. After being grilled and explaining everything, Lucifer ordered everyone to leave you be for now, and that he will personally see to having this matter resolved. Mammon didn't even eat for dinner, instead taking your plate and rushing to your room, waiting.
He knocked softly on your door again, with no response. That's fine, he'll wait out here all night if he needs to. "I'm sorry about tonight. I-I messed up, I should have stepped in sooner. I'm suppose to be your protector, your first man, and I screwed that up. How am I suppose to be there for you if I can't even protect ya from something like this?"
He doesn't know when the tears started welling in his eyes or when they started to roll down his cheeks, but he didn't care. It wasn't important right now. "Just- I'm sorry, MC. Give me another chance! I care- I care too much about ya to let something happen to you, and I just knew that if we stayed there any longer, I-I don't know what would've happened."
And he wasn't lying. He's the brother known for his patience, and the only one besides Asmo that hasn't transformed out of anger to you, but he could feel his restrain slipping away the more he listened to that man. He couldn't remember the last time he lost his temper and transformed besides from today, and the only thing he could think of is getting you both out of that situation, before he does something that he might regret (or at least, regret doing it in front of you).
"And you stuck up for me, for me, of all people. I don't know how many people would do that", he gave a dry chuckle. "I don't wanna lose you, MC. Even if-if you stay mad at me forever, I won't stop protecting you. I won't stop caring for you. I won't stop loving you-"
The door opened and he dropped the food, after you jumped onto him and he had to catch you. His heart cracked after he heard you sobbing, but he was left dumbfounded after you could hear you laughing too.
"Oh M-M-Mammon, I love you too!"
You weren't mad at him, nowhere near. It's just that you could feel your heart breaking every time this happened, and you never understood why people had to make him their personal punching bag all the time. You hated how everyone treated him like he was unimportant, just a waste of time, and you don't know how many times you almost cried because of it. He always tried to brush it off like it was nothing, and show you a quick smile to try and change the subject, but you could tell that those comments do get to him, no matter how much of a facade he tries to put on.
Peppering his face with kisses, he didn't have it in him to shove you away (not like he was going to anyway, your kisses are to die for). But you still needed to eat, and he wanted to see your face light up when you see that he saved some leftover cake for you guys to share.
After he's done getting attacked and berated, you're always there to pick him up afterwards. Hugging him tightly, murmuring words of comfort, anything that can lift his spirits and show that he's cared for. You always do your best to make sure that he knows that he is loved, even if it's just you showing him. You let it be known that he deserves better, he doesn't deserve that kind of treatment, and you always make sure that you do everything in your power to remind him of that.
He thinks that it’s time to return the favor, and tonight would be a good opportunity to start.

Awww thank you! Take care of yourself too and hope you’re staying safe 🥺💖💖 I went with just the scenario for this just bc I got some requests for Quote 14 already, so hope that’s okay! Reader is gender neutral!
Prompt Scenario: “Person A falling asleep on Person’s B shoulder/chest/lap and Person B really needs to get up and do something but doesn’t want to wake Person A.” with Dazai!
Tumblr media
You are so exhausted.
After another long and eventful day at the ADA, you’re ready to just collapse on your bed and forget about everything at this point. You were tempted to just keep going all the way home and forget about the reports, but you knew that it wouldn’t be the right thing to do (and it would be extra work for tomorrow and who wants that?). So instead of going home and to your bed whom you miss so much, you got on to go to the agency.
You couldn’t help that your body leaned back in the seat, the move of the train lulling you to sleep-
“(Y/N)...Earth to (Y/N)?”
You eyes snapped open and flickered towards Dazai.
You’re so tired that you completely forgot that he’s with you, and more than likely just saw that you dozed off.
You’re a little embarrassed and are starting to feel wary, especially when you see the smirk spread across his face.
“Is someone feeling a wittle sweepy?”
“Dazai if you ever talk to me like that again I will strangle you with your own bandages-”
“Awww you don’t mean that, you’re just a wittle cranky right now- ack!”
“You better be lucky I don’t feeling like dealing with you right now.” You say, sitting up in your seat while he rubbed his forehead, whining about how “cruel” you’re being. Usually you would be entertained by Dazai’s antics, sometimes even joining in (while also pitying whoever got dragged into it), but all you wanted to do right now is rest. You don’t even have the energy to pretend to be mad at him, that’s how tired you are.
You slumped back against the seat, feeling the tension release from your shoulders. You sighed, you definitely wouldn’t mind being under your covers and on your soft pillow right about now, but you had to finish your work for the day. Maybe you could shut your eyes for a few minutes, or at least until you get there. Any sleep is better than no sleep at this point.
“Hey Dazai?”
“Hm?” He hasn’t looked away from you yet, loving the way the sunset is casting a glow on you.
“Can you please wake me up before we get to the agency? I want to be semi-awake when I’m doing these reports. So pleaseeee wake me up?”
You were expecting him to tease you, to mock you again for rubbing at your eyes like a child, but all he did was nod at you. “Sure.”
You were a little caught off guard, but still appreciative nonetheless. Your own smile graced your face, and you mumbled out a thanks, before you tried to get as comfortable as possible and felt your eyes slowly slide shut...
—-
Dazai was lost deep in his own thoughts when he felt something plop on his shoulder.
He didn’t have to look down to know that it was you.
It didn’t take you long to doze off, the soft snores passing through your lips. You must’ve felt comfortable, as you sighed out in relief and nestled deeper into him. He just chuckled and shook his head, you can be so endearing and you don’t even realize it.
You don’t even realize what you do to him. What you make him feel.
But, you guys can always have that discussion another day (he’s planning on having it very soon actually), and you’re both nearing the agency too. He should get up and pull the stop so that you both can get off, but that means standing and waking you up, and he doesn’t want to do that just yet.
This tranquil expression that’s donning your face, he rarely gets to see this as much as he wants (which is pretty much all the time, and he definitely wouldn’t complain if it’s the first thing he sees waking up). He also doesn’t get to spend time with just you both as much as he prefers too, so can you blame him for wanting to be selfish?
Besides, it’s not like he didn’t finish the reports already, he actually does do his work sometimes, despite what people think (or he at least starts and gets Atsushi to finish). Bringing your head to his chest and propping your legs up, he made sure that the passing passengers didn’t risk waking you up.
After all, he planned to savor this time spent for as long as he could.
Bonus:
You felt so warm, so toasty, and tried to curl up more into the source of said warmth.
“Finally up?”
“Hm”, you wanted to sit up, but you just felt so cozy that your body practically refused to (but you weren’t upset about it). “Dazai? Are we-” a yawn escaped your throat, “back at the agency?”
Whatever your head is laying on rumbled, “No, I’m taking you home.”
You don’t remember telling him to take you home honestly, and your head is feeling so fuzzy from sleep that you don’t really care. “But...what about-”
“Already taken care of, so go back to sleep,”
“Hmm...you sure? I’ll feel bad if I gave”, another yawn, “someone extra work.”
He chuckled again, “You’re still so caring even when you’re halfway sleep. Honestly, keep this up and I might confess my undying love for you now.”
He would have thrown up his arms in a dramatic fashion, had he not been carrying you bridal style.
You just sleepily laughed with him, and snuggled further into his chest. “Mmm...Dazai?”
“Yes, (Y/N)?”
You’re a better person “, a final yawn cut through, “than you think you are.”
You dozed off again before you could see him pause, a look of surprise on his face, before it melted away to a smile, a real smile.
He guess that he better start putting his plan into motion. After all, he wants this confession to be the best one you’ve ever received.
And the last one too, because Dazai doesn’t plan on ever losing you.
