Hi, folks!

DreamCatcher here. You can call me Dré, Catcher, Dream, Catchee, or my personal favorite, Catch Snatch. I'm an aspiring author and artist, and I play guitar.

The Strength of a Soul (DSMP/Renegades Crossover)

Yet another Dream SMP superhero AU except I made it a crossover with one of my favorite series. Ranboo as the protag because he's my favorite character. And for bonus we have the egg causing chaos, weird purple drifty things, and doors that can only be opened with someone's soul. Status: Completed, sequel in planning stage.

Experiment || Ranboo/DSMP AU - Book I of the Enderwalk Trilogy

Probably my favorite out of all my fics. Ranboo is an experiment conducted by DreamXD, but he escapes the laboratory where he has been held all his life. Then he meets friends who become like family—but because angst is my food, happiness can't last. DreamXD won't let Ranboo go so easily. Status: Completed, sequel underway.

Exile || Ranboo/DSMP AU - Book II of the Enderwalk Trilogy

The sequel to the above. Can't tell you much without spoilers, but let's just say things don't get easier for our favorite Enderman. Status: In progress.

Chessboard (Dream SMP AU)

Tommy Innit is renowned throughout Esympi as the great thief, Theseus. Except then he ends up imprisoned in the Chessboard, an arena where prisoners are forced to brutally fight each other. Will Tommy remain alive long enough to escape? Uhh, probably not, but it remains to be seen! Status: In progress, nearing completion.

Those are my biggest works. I write mainly for Dream SMP, although I'm working on a Generation Loss fanfiction (Genloss is my latest hyper-fixation; come scream with me about it). Some of my other fandoms that I don't actively make content for are: QSMP, The Last of Us, Resident Evil, Life is Strange, Maze Runner, and Wings of Fire.

I'm also writing an original story called Stellar Winds! It's heavy science-fiction with light romance set in a different galaxy. I'll post updates on Tumblr now and then.

I do a lot of art so prepare to see that along with possibly some snippets of writing.

My characters are so very much their own now that you can send them asks and they'll reply through me (including characters from my fanfictions). Please do-

Dream SMP Recap (December 3/2021) - What is a Pet?

Foolish and DreamXD engage in a heated philosophical debate while Foolish fights a cleaning maid to the death.

- Foolish is working on the statue when he hears a familiar voice. It’s DreamXD, who asks if it’s been two weeks yet (it has not)

- DreamXD is impatient for the statue to be completed because he’s bored. Foolish asks him how the nightmare went. It was fun. XD asks if Foolish has spoken to Bad yet, but he hasn’t

- Foolish shows DreamXD the progress on the statue. DreamXD is very bored, and Foolish is supposed to be his entertainment, so Foolish tries some dancing

- Foolish asks what entertains him. Statues do, and two weeks passing. Besides that? DreamXD is entertained when people die

- Foolish asks about jokes, but they’re too complicated. DreamXD doesn’t know what karaoke is, so Foolish explains it. DreamXD doesn’t understand at first but he pretends that he does. Foolish tries to tell him that it’s okay not to know everything, but XD is stubborn

DreamXD: “I know everything!”

Foolish: “Clearly, clearly.”

- Foolish asks if XD knows any other language. DreamXD makes a strange unintelligible sound

- Antfrost logs on, saying he is Wallibear. Someone to kill! Foolish makes his way over there

- He asks if XD has any idea of when their double-nightmare will be. XD doesn’t really know, as nightmares are difficult to plan

- Foolish asks if DreamXD is more of a cat person or a dog person. According to XD, cats taste a little better. He eats everything after all

- Foolish then asks about pets. DreamXD doesn’t know what pets are. Foolish calls pets companion creatures that are around you. DreamXD gets it – Foolish is his pet

- Foolish quickly denies this and reads out the dictionary definition, which XD decides still fits Foolish. The two of them go back and forth on it

- Foolish returns to his summer home and finds Antfrost dressed as Wallibear in a maid costume. He quickly kills him for a soul. DreamXD does know what maids are, as he sees them in people’s dreams sometimes

- Foolish asks if DreamXD likes to be described as a good person. DreamXD says he doesn’t mind, but Foolish can’t hear his voice clearly and suggests a glass of water

- Antfrost-Wallibear returns and asks if Foolish needs his summer home cleaned. Foolish does not, but Wallibear starts climbing up the statue to get rid of some of the dirt. Foolish kills him again

- After a while of silence, DreamXD comes back with some music box music playing in the background. He’s just coming back from a nightmare

- Foolish asks if XD ever sleeps himself. XD is always awake

- Why does DreamXD not just /kill everyone himself for souls? Because it drains him

- DreamXD’s voice gets even lower and says something unintelligible. Foolish is confused, so XD repeats himself more clearly: it’s entertaining. Foolish compares DreamXD to Santa Claus

- Ant-Wallibear returns again and Foolish asks XD to smite him. XD wonders if he should pick someone else who doesn’t need help. What about Wallibear?

- Foolish bets that if XD saw this statue right now, he would already be impressed. Foolish also kills Walli a third time

- They start arguing about pets again and Foolish tries to demonstrate his point with a llama example and it backfires. He kills Walli a fourth time

- Foolish tries to argue that he has more free will than a llama. DreamXD shouts at him to drop his trident and Foolish immediately does

- Foolish keeps searching for counterarguments but he’s at a loss

- After struggling a bit, he asks DreamXD how he would feel if he was the one being called a pet. XD says he can’t be one

Foolish: “How do you know that there’s not like, another greater being that’s secretly manipulating you?”

DreamXD: “Okay, did you – Did you make the llama?”

Foolish: “No...”

DreamXD: “Okay, well, I made you.”

Foolish: “Okay, but let’s – listen – maybe you’re not the only creator, maybe there was someone else before you! And like – How do you know that?”

DreamXD: “Eh, if they come down, I will be their pet.”

- Foolish says he seems to be interchanging the words “pet” and “friend.” DreamXD says Foolish can be his pet-friend

- Wallibear comes back and murders Foolish. DreamXD laughs and goes to talk to him instead. Wallibear kills Foolish a second time

- Foolish says that Wallibear can’t make the statue like he can. DreamXD asks if Foolish will be his pet then. Reluctantly, Foolish says that he is DreamXD’s pet

- DreamXD logs on

Antfrost: dad

- DreamXD /kills him and says Foolish owes him now. While Foolish chases Wallibear, DreamXD looks at the statue and is outraged that it is built with dirt

- XD places down a bunch of TNT and Foolish frantically explains that the dirt is just a rough draft because mortals can’t do everything perfectly the first try

- DreamXD turns all of the dirt to solid gold. Foolish suggests he try out different materials and see what he likes. While Foolish hunts Wallibear, DreamXD turns all of the dirt to Netherite blocks

- DreamXD admires how it looks with all the dirt replaced with TNT. Foolish suggests emerald blocks, but DreamXD says no

- DreamXD gives Wallibear some TNT and flint and steel. Wallibear sets off a bunch at the base of the statue

- After Foolish kills Wallibear again and gives him back his tools, Wallibear is finally done. DreamXD places down a turtle egg and Wallibear picks it up, then leaves

- DreamXD spawns a swarm of Vexes and leaves Foolish to deal with it

i’ve loved watching foolish and dreamxd’s relationship progress over these past few weeks like at the start of the statue foolish was just an underling doing work for a god and now he’s one of dxd’s best friends/pets who got access to one of the god’s biggest secret like it’s just so damn cool

Videos: Skeppy

Skeppy uploaded a video of his perspective of Bad’s stream. He convinces Bad not to destroy his additions to their shared house and shows Bad a server with a completed and furnished build of their mansion and sculptures of them.

Ponk talks with their chat and walks around the smp while testing out a new v-tuber avatar. They note that the renovated prime path looks great until the point where it gets towards Skeppy and Bad’s mansion, where the path is still old wood and not aligned.

Bad joins noting Foolish’s face has been removed from the Dream XD statue. He wanders around the SMP, and kills a fake Shroud in his single player world. Bad puzzles over the iron arrow pointing down and the letters above it.

Bad goes over the outer reaches of the prime path and his plans to improve and further expand it. Bad takes the blueprint chest from Dream and Techo’s mountain to add to his vault. Bad adds a skeppy face to the DreamXD statue and continues to expand the cactus tower.

Foolish logs in looking for vines. He is very upset by the Skeppy face and demolishes it and continues progress on Doozer HQ.

Michael does some maintenance to his farms and clean up around the base, he makes improvements to his nether ice path.
