Had a dream last night that I went out for ice cream with my coworkers and for some reason won a $30 coupon for the upscale men’s clothing store next door. So I’m like “Neat! Maybe I can find a nice sweater or something.” So me and the gang go to the store, and they’re all helping me find a sweater I might like. But damn, everything’s sooo expensive! We’re talkin’ like $520 for a jacket. And the stuff that isn’t ridiculously priced is either the wrong size or ugly. But whatever, I keep browsing. And I end up in the corner of the store, which for some reason resembles Hot Topic. Like they have this jacket with Kurosaki Ichigo on it and a bunch of Trigun stuff and I’m like “Dang! This is cool, but not really what I’m looking for.” So I wander back around to the front of the store, and one of my coworkers is chatting up the sales associate, trying to find out more about employment perks (her son is job hunting, you see), and another coworker is holding up this shirt that’s practically see-through and asks me “what about this one?” And I’m like “uhhh thanks but no thanks.” So then I say “oh well, guess I won’t spend my free $30. Maybe I’ll come back with my husband and he can find something he likes.” So we all leave the store. As I’m walking outside, there’s a woman waving to me but I’m thinking “is she actually waving to me?” So I kinda ignore her at first. But then I look over and wow! It’s Drew Barrymore! And in this dream, for some reason, Drew is part of my family (like married to someone maybe? Idk), so I’m like “Ah! Hey Drew!” And she’s like “Ya know, it’s so hard to talk to you because you ignore everyone around you. I’ve been waving for five minutes!” And so I do that awkward hand on the back of my neck thing that anime characters do and say “ah haha sorry! I do tend to tune everyone out when I walk around in public, and I don’t see people’s faces!” And Drew just sorta laughs and gives me a big hug. She smells nice and she’s warm. But my coworkers are waiting for me, so I tell her I have to go. But wait! She’s going in the same direction! So I end up introducing Drew Barrymore to my coworkers, and it’s a good ol’ time. The end ✨

Just finished watching Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde (1920) for the first time. I absolutely loved it! My only complaint is that half way through the movie the music score ends up not matching the tone of the scenes.

Like, the music is.. um... cheerful?? Whimsical???? Like you're at a carnival or frolicking thru a meadow. But onscreen you're witnessing murder, chase scenes, and despair. It kinda threw me off in an amusing way. But overall would recommend. . 9/10.
