Packed a lunch and went mini road-tripping on the long holiday weekend, driving around and looking for nice spots to explore! We lucked out with the weather in that it wasn't too hot to keep Roxy from enjoying the beach for a fun romp, and the rain mostly held off till the end of the day, but it was too hot for her to hang out with us in the back of the parked truck to relax and watch movies (nice breeze but no A/C). So we cut that part short, but otherwise had a terrific day! Roxy had a blast and would've run for hours if we'd let her lol

Night Drive Part 1/3

This small story is a alternative scenery of Transformers: Rescue Bots Season 1 Episode 2 (Under Pressure)!

It was late at night.. at the firehouse of the Burns' family, deep down in the bunker the bots and the humans were having their time. Boulder and Graham were having a small talk as Boulder was curious about the 'Earthlings' Games', while Blades and Dani were trying to improvise to ask each other about themselves. Chase and Cody were out of the scene, watching as the other bots and their humans try and communicate with each other. Although for Kade and Heatwave it didn't go as planned.

Heatwave was taking a small peek from the corner, watching his human. As Kade looked at Heatwave, the bot immediately looked away and grumbled. Kade looked away as well but then he spoke up. ''I think we're done here!'' He said as he got up and walked past Heatwave. But as he was walking he stopped in his tracks, his facial expression softened. Heatwave looked down at the human and gave a rather confused/annoyed look. The human stayed silent for a good period of time.. But then he decided to speak up.

''I'll rather... stay.'' He said in a.. rather quiet like voice. The fire-bot kept looking down at the human, titling his head as he listened to the humans words. How come he decided to stay now? Kade had his hands on his shoulders for some good reason and just backed up and sat back where he was. Heatwave couldn't get the thought out of his mind. ''Why did he decided not to leave?'' He grumbled as he thought to himself. Kade kept his hands on his shoulder and refused to look at the bot. Heatwave shrugged and decided to break the silence.

''Something wrong, hotshot?'' He said as he looked over to the human. He waited for him to answer but he was quiet.. too quiet for a person like Kade. Was there actually something wrong with him? Kade for his response shook his head and kept looking at the ground. But then a odd question escaped his mouth. ''Can we go for a drive? Just.. around the town.'' He shrugged as he looked up at Heatwave. The alien was about to speak till he heard Kade talk again. ''Of course, if you want to. I wouldn't mind if it's no.'' Heatwave raised his eyebrow. Kade never told him something if he wanted to do something. Instead he just forced him to do what Kade wants.

The bot nodded and sat himself up. He stretched and looked down at Kade. ''So, are we going or not?'' The bot spoke as he placed his hands on his hips, waiting for the human to get up. Kade nodded and sat up. ''I'll meet you in the garage.'' The human spoke as he walked over to the elevator and went inside. Heatwave sighed and nodded as he watched the elevator go up. He walked over to the elevator the bots used and went up to the garage. He saw Kade waiting for him at the garage doors.

Letting out a sigh he transformed into his truck mode and opened up the drivers door for Kade. ''I don't have all day.'' He scolded as he waited for Kade to get inside. Kade sighed and hopped inside the drivers seat. He was about to close the door but instead Heatwave did it himself. Although he didn't just close it gently, it was a soft like slam. The human sighed and was about to place his hands on the wheel. Till the truck spoke through his screen. ''Hands off.'' He said as he told Kade not to place his hands on his wheel. He'll be driving him instead. ''Whatever.'' Kade shrugged as he crossed his arms. He watched as the middle garage doors opened up for Heatwave to drive out.

As Heatwave drove out he didn't say anything for 10 minutes straight, nor did Kade.. Although.. Heatwave caught his gaze upon Kade whom was looking outside the window. He was watching the streets, the forests, the sea as they were driving by. Heatwave raised his eyebrow and thought of a small solution.. Slowly. He lowered his drivers window. Kade didn't even look at Heatwave to ask 'Why did he do that?'. Instead he peeked his head out and let the wind blow into his face. He had to admit.. it felt relaxing. Heatwave watched as Kade did so. Due to this a soft and a small smile appeared on his face.
