@razzle-zazzle BOOM, BETWEEN BRANCH UPON THEE
Sorry if it looked rushed on the rest of the drawings except the main one, 'cause it is. I just wanted to finish it as soon as possible due to college assignments piling up. But anyway-
Here's the boy! If I got something wrong in his appearance, I'm really sorry, I'm just going with what's described in the middle part of the fic when he got crowned as Prince, so I adapted through that.
Can't wait to see what else you have in store for this AU! *rubs hands evily for the angst that will come >:)*

Had a silly thought about Dream and Nightmare.
Dream only has nightmares when he sleeps.
Nightmare only has dreams when he sleeps.
Nightmare dreams of lives where the apple incident didn’t happen. Where they got to grow up together without the responsibility of being a guardian thrown onto them as mere children. Sometimes he dreams of being raised by their mother.
The dreams haunt him, making him question if his actions were really justified, if it meant losing that.
Dream always has the same nightmare. No matter how he ends up falling asleep. It’s always the same. The sky turning blood red. The cracking sound of Nightmare’s body being ripped apart has replayed in his mind so many times he can recall it perfectly. Being turned to stone, frozen in place for centuries. Watching the place that was once their home deteriorate to ruin. All somehow passes over the course of one night.
The nightmares haunt him, making him feel more guilty each time he sleeps.

We’re always laughing about the time Jack got Stephen’s sloth irresponsibly drunk in HMS Surprise (Debauchgate) but we don’t talk enough about the time Stephen accidentally got the entirety of the ship’s rat population coked up in The Nutmeg of Consolation.
