Shizuo's eyes were narrowed behind the sunglasses that he wore, but he unconsciously lowered the vending machine that he had picked up with the intent to smash the flea under it and be ride of the nuisance for good finally when the words that he had said started to sink in.

Izaya was . . . Giving up? No it was clearly some trick to fool the blonde into lowering his guard so that he could gain the upper hand. "What kind of trick are you trying to pull now?!" He demanded his voice a dangerous growl as Izaya just stood there.

Durarara!! x Blue Lock AU

starting off with:

Isagi Yoichi as Mikado Ryuugamine

Bachira Meguru as Masaomi Kida

Nagi Seishiro as Anri Sononhara

So, to explain a bit:

Isagi and Bachira are them as based on colors: Mikado can be associated with blue or with a transparent color (as are the Dollars) and I think it's the same as Isagi (yes, I know that technically Isagi's color is green, I'm gonna ignore that, don't know how else to explain) both of them seem shy, maybe anxious people, but it becomes obvious that neither of them really is. They are both looking for something that can "change their reality", so I think Isagi's role makes sense (maybe.)

Bachira is yellow as Kida is yellow, both of them are easy going people, can be funny, can be very serious, they both hide their pasts pretty well (although their pasts are very different from one another). I think it fits.

About Nagi and Anri. We know that Anri considers herself as a parasite, and I think this can (faintly) be true with Nagi too. Now,I don't want to belittle the Nagi/Reo ship as a codependent, parasitic relationship (because it's not, not too much) but Nagi did attach himself to Reo only to then move to other people he considered stronger/better mates than Reo. Of course, Nagi and Anri are fundamentally difffrent in their personality, but yeah.

also, I'm not sure I explained well this idea, I don't know how to word rn, so Im sorry, if you have questions you can ask.

basically, they're the main trio

BUT

if Nagi is Anri, then Harima can be Reo, but if Harima is Reo idk who could be Seiji (if Nagi isn't Anri he could be Harima and Reo could be Seiji, but also if this is the case, then idk who could be Anri.)

moving on:

Ego as Shinra Kishitani

Anri Teieri as Celty Sturluson

their dinamic is way off, i know, Shinra is madly in love with Celty, while Ego isn't (at all), but since Anri is basically the only important female character in Blue Lock, I think it could be fun if she were Celty.

just realized that the Reo/Nagi-as-Harima and Anri-as-Celty doesn't fit because of the plastic surgery stuff, but ye. I'll resolve it in another moment.

moving on again:

Rin Itoshi as Aoba Kuronoma

again, I'm not sure with this one, but Rin is the only character with a brother who is also an important character, I have to admit, I don't remember much about the Blue Squares, but I know that Aoba's brother was an important character, so I say that Rin is Aoba.

(I'm only at ep 3 of drrrr (I'm rewatching) so I don't know how Aoba and his brother's dynamic is, but I am sure that it is different than the Itoshi brothers (oh well)).

then:

Barou Shoei as Shizuo Heiwajima

[???] as Izaya Orihara

Hear me out:

Barou gives me a lot of Shizuo vibes: they're strong, their temper is similar, but the problem is that Barou's source of anger is Isagi (mostly)

Of course, if Isagi is Mikado, he cannot be also Izaya (I don't want him to be, he's very different from Izaya (but then again, right now I cannot think about a bllk character who is similar to him, sadly)) so this one is a very unsteady idea.

it might get deleted, as I am having troubles in identifying who could be Izaya

(this might be because I don't remember much about both bllk and drrr (rip))

Another idea that just went to my head:

Michael Kaiser as [maybe] Aoba Kuronoma

This is based on the fact that I hate Kaiser as much as I hate Aoba, so ik that it maybe doesn't make sense.

All in a Night‘s Work

Blood wets the streets of Paris, spilling down onto the porch of a quaint Italian cafe. It's a shame it has to be this way, truly. Of all the places in Paris with espresso on their menu, nobody got it quite right as the bartender here; a young Italian man who had moved all the way to Paris from Turin. For the past two years, he had provided the night patrons of this little cafe with true, authentic espresso with coffee imported directly from Italy.

The same man currently desperately trying to drag himself across the street with two bullet holes through each knee, to no avail.

It's a wretched thing to watch. His lower legs have been crashed so badly that the bones have ripped through the flesh and skin, broken bits grinding against each other and tearing the flesh further. His arms are bent in ways that would be painful even for a vampire, and with each pitiful shift forward, his nails crack against the asphalt and jam into the skin of his fingers. 

So dramatic.

"Buddy, buddy, buddy…." 

The young man tenses at the friendly voice, his eyes widen…and all at once, his efforts to flee intensify tenfold. There's no care now for the rending of his flesh, the excruciating twisting of every limb and muscle in his crippled body as he shifts to put his less mangled elbow onto the ground and push. Grab. And Drag with his shredded fingers. 

He makes it nearly a metre, so close to one of the streetlamps he can almost feel the light on his face… Until it's blocked out by a dark looming figure and, with it, the path forward.

"Hey- Hey, it's alright. Look at me."

"There we go… You know, mi amico, you disappoint me. I told you before, if you did not resist, all of this would have been unnecessary..."

The looming creature kneels down before him, and when he doesn't move to look, it grabs his chin and makes him, tilting his face up slowly. "Look at me." The white of its hair is a stark contrast against the night sky. Two eyes stare down at him from its shadowed face, one brown and one blue, glinting, and when it lets go of his face and he keeps obediently looking, its lips twist up into a satisfied smirk. 

 A muscle moves with every word. A lifted eyebrow, a frown, the smirk twisting into a disappointed frown– every feeling expressed so clearly, so easy to notice, that even without watching, he can imagine how its eyes follow the broken bone and torn flesh from his legs, up his back, then down to his arms, his elbow, his bloodied nails, and back to his face, frozen in fear.

From the corner of his eye, he sees the glinting of metal at the creature's side, and it must have noticed because it follows his gaze…and chuckles.

"Oh, no, no, don't worry, mi amico, that's not for you. We need you alive!" it explains and pats the firearm holstered there. As if that's supposed to be reassuring. "Yes, you see, someone messed with our files tonight, they removed some of the entries. And since your sire is no longer here to help us recover certain information, I'm here to ask you t-"

Drrrrng.

His face hits the ground, the shock from the ringing knocking him off-balance just enough for the bare bone of his elbow to slip in the trail of his own blood. 

Drrrrng.

"Seriously? They know I'm at work…."

Drrrrng.

The taste of his own blood rolls onto his tongue, and it's the cruellest bit of hope he could have gotten at this moment. It might have been better, he thinks, if he could still die from blood loss…

Drrrr-

"Yes?"

The ringing finally stops.

"...Yes, I am here. With him. We should be- Oh! You found it after all?"

This is the first time he has looked at the pavement this close. It's funny how, from afar, it looks so uniform, but in truth, it's all these little specks and pebbles in different shades…

"Well, it would've been good to know sooner, but…As is, there's not much to be done."

Like coffee beans when you grind them up, like putting tar in a grinder…

"No, no, thank you for letting me know. I'll be back soon."

The one-sided conversation stops. He hears shuffling for a moment, like holsters and belts and pockets. Then the creature moves, stands up, and he can feel the merciful warmth from the streetlamp again. 

“Well, mi amico, bad news. As it turns out, there was a copy of that file. That's good for me; it means less paperwork. But for you…."

The words pass by like a song in a language he doesn't know. He hears the metallic clink that's probably the firearm being unholstered; with a glance up, he catches what looks like a silencer screwed onto the barrel. But the angle is rough on his neck, so he lays back down and closes his eyes. 

"For what it counts, you had a true gift. Coffee, tea, hot cocoa– in another life, you could have made a decent living from it. But such is life… Goodbye, mi amico."

It's quiet. The silencer did its job. And with what his body has already been through, he barely feels the hit on the back of his head.

His last thought is of the sweet fragrance of dark coffee by a golden sunrise...

the album is so!!! interesting!!!! every track is a love song in its own type of way (except super board which is just.... nyooom???) so everything has a pink skz flare, unsure how else to describe it... there was so much anticipation with maxident given oddinary's success, and i think this album was a great follow-up!!!! the vibes are there, the aesthetics are there..... i'm gonna talk abt the tracks in order since i feel so differently about each of them fjksjsmjn i.e. no mv talk bc only case 143 came out & pink-seungmin makes me well up with tears. but heart monsters are so cute i cannot WAIT to own one 🥺💜

WHAT A TITLE SONG!!!! let me just reference this article that describes it as "a love song for someone who gets easily distracted" bc THAT'S ME!!!! SO MUCH IS HAPPENING!!! it has the same build as maniac, felix in the first chorus and then hyunjin in the second, verses of raps weaved expertly between each other, a strange sweetness in the oddity that the last album branded them with. there's so much story in the song, the concept of investigation and crime and this chase that this unexplainable emotion is spurring them into. this song has SURPRISES! literally, the BOOM & BANGS!!! the police sirens!!!! changbin's "can i be your boyfriend" & "no cap" have not left my brain!! other honorable mentions: chan's abcdefg?? SEUNGMIN'S BRIDGE???? anyway it has wormed its way onto my top5 fav skz title tracks <3

2. chill

there's nostalgia to this song? i have no idea where it comes from, maybe it's from an old kpop song or another skz track.... and there's a saxophone??? like HUH WHAT WOW?? jisung's tracks (even though i can't name others specifically lol) seem to have a dreamy quality to them, the lo-fi sound making them perfect for drives with ur windows down. like, i think this is a good song to show to a non-kpop or skz listener? it's solid! the music! the vocals!! it's actually a breakup song & even without really knowing what the lyrics are, there's a bittersweetness to the performance that gives u sentimentality? The Vibes are Immaculate

3. give me your TMI

whoever the FUCK is in the chorus as background vocals, we need to SPEAK. it's funky garage noise!! it's background music for a heist!!!! changbin's intro rap reminds me of the impression that thunderous left on me, the dude just spitting & me going wild with it. he literally can go "ding dong daeng" for 3hrs straight & i'd listen to it. also, i can't believe this song is 2YRS OLD?? IN THE LAPTOP FOR THAT LONG??? so the whole point is "I Am Curious About You" & it just. HITS. it WORKS. like what is GOING ON with this song?? it might be my fav off the album solely for how confused it makes me feel. AND THE BRIDGE?!!!! i am a SUCKER for a bridge that slows it down with honey vocals (2min, i'm aching for u) KIM SEUNGMIN HAS MY WHOOOOOOOOLE HEART

4. super board

completely candid i am not a fan of this type of sound :| it's not my style, where there's less melody in favor of more noise (no shade but think nct127). but it's still a fun song!!! the nyooom is so silly to me; there's a playfulness to it that fits the album!! it's like a dialed back version of cheese, if that makes sense? it's literally for skaters. this is definitely the most experimental of the tracks & maybe it'll grow more on me? who knows lmao

5. 3racha

"1 2 3 racha get spotlight" WOW this is just 3min 28sec of 3racha bragging & i lie down at their feet for that. Good For Them! before maxident dropped i've been obsessed with heyday & whatever "i'm stacking EXP just like a mountain" means. and the DRRRR POW noise. and that bed squeaking noise that has an actual term that i can never FUCKING REMEMBER... ANYWA 3RACHA SUPREMACY.,..,.,, producer trio doing the MOST! i love how chan raps in english, gets to do witty play on words just like binsung can in korean, being AUSSIE AS HELL. iconic lines: "my boys spittin' facts they locked & loaded" & "y u mad brah?" *gunshots* *dies*

6. taste

seeing red lights ot8 made listening to this song make me go, oh. it isn't-- this song isn't quite a sequel to red lights, which is more desperate & dark imo. this song is taunting, inviting. this song exudes a certain ambience that is, to put it simply, sensually sexual. dimly lit bedroom with rose petals scattered everywhere you can see. which yknow. yeah. what the fuck can i say. what the fuck. skz what the fuck.

7. can't stop

this is aftercare after 3racha & taste, which i agree to wholeheartedly. i'm literally crying listening to this song, which by no means is a song to cry to! it's so sweet!! i love vocalracha!! i love that they chose to showcase themselves in this upbeat, cute & wholesome confession song!!! don't get me wrong about the angsty ballads; they have a time & place but WE NEED A SONG OF PURE JOY & EXCITEMENT IN THIS ALBUM!!! AND THIS IS IT!!!!!!!!!!!! frolicking through meadows sort of vibe at the end of a coming-of-age kdrama movie. i'm still crying.

8. circus (krn ver)

i loved this song in japanese & that rings true for the korean version too!!! it throws me off hearing it in a language i'm more familiar with since i've had the original version on repeat lol i don't normally listen to kpop group's japanese releases but this was an exception! i love all the elements of the circus they build into the song, the animals, the fire, the fanfare, the lyric painting with the iconic carny tune... geez this song is so GOOD for WHAT

tl;dr maxident is stuck in my ears for the foreseeable future & i'm a seungbin stan who has yet to pull a seungmin T.T
