Battle Lines is a really good episode

#I hadn't rewatched it knowing the twists #it's so good! just on the face of it but then with how it twists the Trek Moment in the middle etc etc #(where Sisko insists on a ceasefire assuming they can transport everyone off)#ds9 tag #Kira's entire arc obviously #so good!

i think weyoun would like crossword puzzles because he loves to solve problems and collect little crumbs of information. i think he’d be very good at anagrams or sudoku or ken-ken. i think he doesn’t like riddles because the logic behind them is too roundabout and impractical. general wordplay can be hit-or-miss; as a vorta diplomat he does appreciate the art of bending a language around and it can be amusing sometimes, but if it’s too abstract he just gets frustrated.

i just fucking started rewatching good omens but now im debating on whether to try rewatchign ds9 for the 5th time in 4 years

Love that Star Trek accurately portrays humans in the future as being DTF practically anything. Works wonders for diplomacy.

"Sure I don't find you attractive, but give me ten minutes, your Excellency, and I'll find someone on this ship who's into tentacles and slime."

We may not be super intelligent or super strong, but give humans a chance. We're annoyingly likeable, tenacious, stubborn, and attracted to the weirdest things.
