Finally got a chance to see Dr Strange in The Multiverse of Madness and had so much fun! After two years away, trips to the cinema still feel like such a luxurious treat at the moment. To celebrate I just had to paint the master of the mystic arts himself.

I have a lot of thoughts after watching DSATMOM but I think I’ll start with plamerstrange. I’m of two minds because I love Christine and Stephen but I also love Clea and Stephen. I also really love Rachel Mcadams and wished they’d used her better in the movies; I also wouldn’t have minded them making Christine a variant of Clea. 

It seems cruel to have Stephen say “I love you in every universe” and not to show one were they end up together even if it’s not the main one. I’m also not crazy about the Charlize Theron casting as Clea but she could grow on me; like I’ll give her a chance we saw her for two seconds. 

In the end I’m not planning the funeral for plamerstrange; because this is the MCU and never say never. I mean they didn’t even really have to bring her back; or make such a fuss that she was the love of his life in every universe; they could have had her last appearance be DS1 it was like five years ago; the general masses wouldn’t have remembered her. But they brought her back. Anyway I’m in two minds about it.

If Sam Raimi didn't want me to ship Wanda and Stephen, then he shouldn't have had so many scenes of them gliding into each other's personal space like MOM was an 80s dance romance.

Seriously, I never entirely liked Ben as Strange until he reanimated the corpse of his variant and told The Spirits of the Damned to suck a lemon about it. Elizabeth as Wanda? Always loved. Paul as JARVIS/Vision, I adored him as a voice. My love only grew.

(You know.... Billy and Tommy need a spiritual/biological father to exist... And Vision and Stephen would have so many wonderful discussions about the Multiverse, the Microverse, and all the layers of subspace within and outside of the human mind that, let's be honest, Wanda would be the jealous one... I'm just saying.... Poly is the answer to all of life's problems...)
