the timeline

If you've ever wondered just what the hell I was doing with the fics I was putting out and this timeline I kept talking about, this is what I meant lol

It's actually got quite a few more characters listed out to the right but for the sake of relevancy and size I just kept the first few columns.

The notes are either specific key events or (italicized) published fics. I started making this into an actual timeline sheet just a bit before I dropped out of the fandom entirely so I haven't been able to flesh it out as much as I like, but now that I feel like getting back into stuff I'm sure it will populate pretty quickly lol

Color meanings (majorly as relevant to Techno and his pov):

Maroon - Living in the Nether

Soft Green - Traveling with Phil

Yellow - Living in Hypixel

Blue - SMPE and the Antarctic Empire

Neon Green - DSMP

Red - If an MCM was held that year; If the character participated in an MCM that year

Black - Character is not yet born or is dead

The NK Purpled Backstory™️

my friends are tired of me chattering about this in their dms so I’m putting it here /lh

Purpled’s parents dropped him at Hypixel. They dipped. Didn’t want a kid. So he was picked up by the system, trained until he was eight, and sent into the smaller games with a trainer (the system called them mentors, but no one actually used that) watching his every move.

he’s been through a few trainers, as is custom with the Hypixel system. you cycle through so you don’t gain attachments. his kindest trainer, X, knew everything about bedwars. Purpled was half-convinced he made the game, but he never got to ask before it cycled again.

weekends are the only free time you get in Hypixel. he meets with tiredtwt through running into two kids trying to corner him, who quickly become his friends. every weekend he goes back to tiredtwt- he isn’t even sure why, he swears he isn’t attached. It’s him, Eighty, Chaz, Walli and Sammy. Then Astelic, Hannah, Levi, David, Boomer, Jojo, Squid and.. a lot more, he realizes. a lot of people who care about him.

it’s been amazing, the past few years with the group they’ve made. it’s all leading up to stay that way. until he’s at a game and it’s a 1v1- extra money, if you get out alive. he knows he has this bagged until he realizes it’s Walli, it’s Walli he’s against. it’s Walli, who’s begging Purpled to win, to get the money they need for tiredtwt. for their friends- or, really, their family.

Walli cant kill Purpled. Purpled is at the top of the leaderboard, and both boys know everyone’s bets are on the blonde to win. they know that Hypixel cheats, that Walli won’t make it anyway. Purpled’s numb, but he’s faintly aware of the tears running down his face. That’s his first brother figure gone.

and he’s dragged into the higher system again. he can’t go back, both because of Hypixel and the guilt. (second brother figure gone!) and he meets Punz. they’re like a brother to him, which is a bit ironic as how trainers aren’t supposed to be that. he tries not to think about anything again. he’s an attraction and he may as well act like one. he figures out how to appeal to the viewers, with a sarcastic personality that’s still fun to watch. he’s been earning his own for years, what’s so different about now?

he overhears talk about a new server, made by a famous speedrunner. he knows Punz is friends with Dream, and surely has an invite pending, so when he spots Dream online in a lobby with his little team, he challenges them to a fight. he wins, they let him in. he needs an out, he needs to get out of here as soon as possible. he wins the matches, of course, and gets into the DreamSMP.

he wonders, a few years later to joining, if he’d have preferred Hypixel now. after everything. after realizing he’s stuck here, just as he was before.

Tanzanian blue ringleg centipedes are an adaptable, widespread species of arthropod, having spread from their native Australia and Africa to Europe, the Americas, Asia, and several islands. They can thrive just about anywhere in any habitat, including urban ones. 

They will also feed on any available prey their size or smaller that they can catch, from other arthropods, invertebrates, amphibians, mammals, birds, and fish. Their venom is extremely potent and fast-acting, and they use their entire bodies to subdue their prey, coiling around them and using both their legs and forcipules to tear them apart. They are also not ambush predators, preferring to persistently outrun and overpower their prey. 

These centipedes are aggressive, active, defensive, always on the lookout for danger by sensing any nearby vibrations from their highly sensitive antennae, ready to strike at a moment’s notice if they feel threatened. In addition, they are solitary animals, and tend to avoid other centipedes, thriving the most when kept at low population densities. They are nomadic and non-territorial, but if they do meet conspecifics, they are liable to attack and kill them. 

Despite this, Tanzanian blue ringleg females make attentive and devoted parents; in fact, they are one of the only non-social arthropods to show dedicated parental care of their offspring. Females clean their eggs obsessively, which coats them in moisture and fungicides, and ferociously guard them and the newly hatched centipedes until they’re around 5cm in size and able to fend for themselves. While she is caring for her offspring, the female will refuse to feed, and this period of time can sometimes last for months.

Purpled is independent, straightforward, and combative, while Vi represents his dedicated, shrewd, cautious side.

NAME MEANING ”Xenavi”  is an amalgam of the Greek “xeno," meaning stranger or alien, and “violet," a shade of purple and a type of flower. The violet flower can symbolize honesty, protection, dreams, healing, remembrance, determination, and setting goals. A Haudenosaunee legend states that the violet is a child born of both sky and earth, and it is therefore considered to be a symbol of harmony, balance, and opportunity.

Xie is open about being unable to answer it, but with saying that xie doesn't know/can't answer xie almost always likes to conjecture. Xie thinks it's good to consider what it would be best for the answer to be and if that's different from what's likely. Knowing the full reality of smth isn't necessarily needed to try and orient yourself, bc knowing the full reality of smth is impossible, yk? Sometimes you just will not know and have to react to it anyway, and sometimes you have to find yourself in that space

Ryfe's main mood booster/antidote to the horrors is the material improvement of her or hers' conditions. Like, she's very much the kind of person who defaults to cleaning or similar? She is happiest when she is holding physical proof of the world being a little bit of a better place because of something she and/or hers could do, yk?
