A lot of people hated the Mama puffy hc but I really liked it especially because she disowns c!Dream. It’s a moment that (if the hc was real) would’ve shown the very real truth that blood means nothing and parents can disown their children for any reason, valid or not. The idea that she denounces her own son hurts more because of this ingrained concept that a mother always loves her children, no matter what. I enjoy the topic quite a bit and I enjoy the angst that inevitably comes from it. It’s not that I want it to be canon, just that I enjoy the hc a lot.

i think mama puffy is whatever with fanwork but in canon it's obviously not true. i think c!puffy's whole entitled parasocial guardian thing is objectively funnier--woman, how are you gonna declare yourself this guy's guardian and then get Disappointed In Him when you think you have some special say over who he is and what he should do morally bc he helped you with ur chores that one time, what.

one of these days i will drop an essay abt how there's actually no objectively correct characterization of any gen1 characters because they are, when in their most un-filtered state, supposed to be the streamers that play them, and to assume we know basically anything about who those people are is to miss the point of the social experiments entirely. and none of you are ready

Summary: Tommy and Tubbo feel jaded by their respective legal guardians and decide the best way to get back at them would be to trade places during their respective flights. Surely, this isn't a colossally stupid idea. Surely, they won't be made to feel super guilty about jumping the gun. Surely, the adults don't actually know each other, and they definitely aren't forlorn exes that haven't talked in years. Wait, what was that last part? (In which two teenagers learn about adulthood and its trials and tribulations. And just maybe, the adults learn a little bit along the way, too.)

I frequently use tone indicators, typically fully spelled out (example: /lighthearted /genuine), as it makes me less anxious about misunderstandings (and I overuse emoticons for similar reasons too ^^;)

I try to be open-minded and a good ally to everyone, but I am a relatively privileged person who only knows so much, so let me know if I mess up and maybe try to be patient with me (or just block and move on, whatever works for you!)

Please don't go out of your way to show me discourse, drama, or negativity, if I'm interested I'll look into it myself, otherwise there's a good chance it'll just trigger my anxiety and prevent me from engaging healthily with the topic, which none of us want (people tagging that stuff liberally would also be nice, please!)
