It absolutely kills me that all this time - all. this. time. - c!Dream was just trying to SAVE the entire server! All of them! Every single member! Even the ones he hated! He knew that if they kept on this path, everyone would die! Everyone would spend who knows how long just rotting in their own limbos, alone, forever, and he refused to accept that. There had to be another way; he needed to fix it, fix the server, make everyone immortal, reset the server so that everyone would be friends again, something, ANYTHING, because nothing else compared to that utter, crushing loneliness, not people seeing him as a villain, not torture, not death itself, nothing. It didn't matter what he suffered so long as they could all find peace and happiness and health again together in the future. No more death, no more pain. Just existing together in simpler times where they could be friends again and stop dividing themselves and stop fighting (oh, so much fighting).

And he was willing to utterly destroy himself if that's what it took to save them. To not be alone. To have the time to try and fix things. So he would play the part of the villain they all thought he was. They'd thank him later, when they finally understood. He would give them forever, and they’d see. Someday. And surely, surely, with time...with time... he could be someone who isn't the villain of everyone's story. He could just be himself again. That Dream who was lost and who so desperately wanted to be found.

Making a song I like fit c!Tommy's exile arc: An Analysis (It's gonna be a long one lol)

c!Tommy always had a hard time getting words out when he got anxious. That part's self-explanatory. I'm more interested in the next line. Dandruff is annoying, something to get rid of, something to cure yourself of. That's what c!Dream saw c!Tommy as, and maybe what c!Tommy starting seeing himself as when he was kicked out from Lmanberg by Tubbo. He was being scrubbed out by his best friend along with his enemy.

This part is where c!Dream's manipulation started to take hold. Weeds, generally being unwanted, can represent bad or unusual thoughts, or thoughts that have been planted (ha!) unwillingly. c!Tommy became unsure, confused, and generally distressed in exile. His mind became covered in a blanket of poison ivy and bittersweet berries. And the stalker thing. c!Dream always painted himself as c!Tommy's friend, even when c!Tommy knew something was off or wrong about their "friendship." But he still struggled to compute that c!Dream was fully dangerous to him.

This next part..... I may stretch a little bit lol. Cheekface has got some nonsensical lyrics (which I love), but Imma dig a bit deep than face value to try and get the meaning I want out of it. Dropping buttered bread on the buttered side, or not having a place to put your phone before a surgery, are both things you don't really expect to happen until it does. Then it's obvious. The buttered side is heavier, so obviously it's going to fall on that side. Exile was set up to punish c!Tommy, so obviously c!Dream was going to make c!Tommy miserable. But every time his stuff was blown up, or his cow was slaughtered, or his party was ruined, c!Tommy slowly started to brush things off. He started to see it as normal, nothing to truly push back against. There's the initial shock and fight, but it was bound to happen anyways, right? He knew deep down it was coming. It was in the nature of the environment.

These lyrics... THESE are the ones that've been stuck in my head for days. c!Tommy might not have seen himself as someone who needed to change (at least in the exile arc), but c!Dream sure did. He saw someone who could be molded, chipped away at. c!Dream wasn't looking for any good, really. He was looking to destroy. To get rid of all that shiny, bright, marble and leave behind a pile of dust. Maybe it didn't start out like that. But after hammering away at c!Tommy's personality for so long, he stopped with the careful chiseling, and went right for the wild swinging. Maybe subconsciously c!Tommy let that happen. To see if he could be "fixed" so he could return to New Lmanberg. So c!Tubbo would accept him back easier. (this last part is all speculation tho and I can't remember if anything hinted to that, just a hc I guess!

DSMP MORAL ALIGNMENT: Quackity

Quackity, Quackity, Quackity, sigh. What should I do with him? The thing about c!Quackity is that he has a lot of character development, and changes a lot.

He used to be Chaotic Good. That was when he joined, when he was at his best. Attempting to be helpful and funny, made chaotic by his sense of humor and… um… mature jokes.

At his worst he’s lawful evil. Willing to hurt anyone he sees as against him(torture Dream for book), or as a way to reach his twisted goals(Foolish joining Las Nevadas), but never without reason.

I’d say overall he’s pretty definitely neutral, and tries to potray himself as only caring about himself, and dangerous, and somewhat unpredictable - chaotic neutral- but he’s not, he just acts that way.

Thats a solid Lawful Neutral. He set out a bunch of rules for himself to follow, and tries to follow them… but occasionally losses himself when someone he truly cares about comes into play. It’s not often enough though, and with the way he has dedicated himself to the act, makes him Lawful Neutral.

Sorry this is kinda messy, i wantted to finish it before the lore

Edit: The thing about Quackity is that his biggest weakness is how much he cares, and that is constantly used against him. About Schlatt, then Manburg, then El Rapids, then Las Nevadas, then Lagacy, then Slime (there are other people/things but these have the most plot relevance) and all of his emotions are used against him. So he tries to turn them off, to appear cold and calculating, but he can’t. If he could turn them off, he would likely successfully achieve Chaotic Neutral, but he feels things far too deeply.
