you can't understand why so many people like this thing (characterization, trope, headcanon, etc) Superhero AUs within the dsmp fandom. Seriously. Like especially the people who basically strip the characters of all but their names (and sometimes not even that) and who put them in a totally new setting without any connection to canon lore. It's not a big deal unless your searching on ao3 for a good fic of literally anyone besides Benchtrio and SBI (God help you if you want a canon fic) but it's weird to me as someone who is so interested in the canon dsmp storyline. And not even just the canon events! I mean canon divergent aus that split off from canon, canon to the left, just anything about actual dsmp lore. Idk I just don't get superhero fics why not make ocs at that point?

there should be more of this type of fic/art You already probably know I'm gonna say eggpire fan content, but let's go one step further. Red banquet content. fan ideas for what happened after the red banquet. eggpire healing fics. literally anything with puffy and hannah interacting. topic that brings up the most rancid discourse literally anything to do with the prison arc or exile arc. common fandom complaint that you're sick of hearing I was sick of hearing people complain about fans getting 'too much into the lore' just. Yeah that's the whole fucking point.

I've seen a dsmp discourse ask meme going around, and frankly, I was very unimpressed with the discourse presented. To fix this, I've made a new Spicy Discourse ask meme with help from the dreblr server!

🚀 - Would c!Tubbo be justified in using his nuclear weapons if threatened, assuming that said nuclear weapons would kill everyone on the SMP not in a specialized bunker? (ie, killing everyone except those who c!Tubbo warned ahead of time).

5. What do you think is the most character-defining c!Dream scene?

There are a lot that comes to mind, but I'd say the "I don't give a fuck about Spirit" one.

It's the starting point of any analysis of c!Dream is distancing himself from his attachement (in lore. There're signs before, but it's then people really start to notice).

Also, it illustrates many things well : 1) c!dream is prompt to emotionnal outburst even though he'd like not to be, 2) people take his speech at face value no matter what he does (foes [c!tommy] or friends [sapnap] alike), 3) he is attentive at how he presents himself : no weakness (aka Spirit) and caring only about power. Which is believed.

This a scene that is both very true and very false because there are layers of c!dream's truth in it

c!Sapnap was the reason c!Dnf had a falling out because he actively lied to c!George about cDream’s priorities by saying he didn’t care about them when that’s not even what c!Tommy said. Like, talking to your best friend’s enemy about whether or not your brother in arms actually liked you aside—- c!tommy very much specified that all c!Dream really cared about was c!George and yet that’s not what c!Sapnap told Gogy.

c!tommy was also talking out of his ass the whole time like ASLKFJAKJS as if the entire spirit speech wasn't explicitly in the context of talking about LITERAL OBJECTS
