Hey I have a question to all the people who were in the dsmp phase as myself does anyone know what happened to Callahan like tf did he go I know he has a channel but it has only 1 vid from like a year ago showing his time on the dsmp and I'm looking at dreams vid cuz I don't want to support him so like is he still around???

Background: As one of founding members of the land, Callahan has been active for a long time but was not much active only appearing sporadically. Some say that the reason for that was that he was bullied because of his strange appearance (partially reindeer). However, the reason for Callahan’s behavior was even crueler that any person could imagine; The green fickle god XD had an interest in him as he wanted to use his meek nature to mold him into his perfect servant or even a mindless proxy of himself. This only partially succeeded as Callahan inherited a fraction of his powers and was still submissive toward him. After this failure, XD let go of his guinea pig… for the moment. Callahan embraced this temporary freedom, but his meek and quiet nature gave him trouble to interact with people. He tends to hang with George and many of the girls (Tinakitten, Alyssa and Nihachu), he also appreciate Tommy behavior of rebellion against Dream whom he showed when he fought on Manberg side and rescued the T&T duo during the Disc war endgame. After a long time and having seen the Egg, the deer boy decided to take his distance and became a sort of hermit. Later, he was contacted by XD and commanded him to open a portal toward a new dimension. Upon entering, Callahan was tasked by the green god to start exploring the areas ahead and report his findings. Happy to be away from troubles it took him months of travel when he decided to return. Upon his return as the portal was in sight, something exploded from the portal and he was enveloped into the light. The world twisted around him and changed his aspect and found himself into a new world. An echo was heard in the air “I broke your shackles from the fake god. Now you get to choose if you want to keep this gift, or use it for other means. Come find me if you desire so. But if you will attempt to return him to freedom, I will show no mercy. The choice is yours.” Callahan, had a choice ahead of himself, but no one said anything about how long it would take for that choice to be made. So he grabbed his new identity and walked toward the horizon and he knew he had no one chasing or waiting for him around. But who knows? Only time could tell…

Schlatt grit his teeth and turned around. The rest would show up soon. He hoped. Or dreaded. He wasn’t clear on the difference during the meetings.

Maybe he’d sit by the tree to wait. There was always a tree.

This time, there was already someone lying against the trunk. Schlatt tapped him with his boot, and the man sighed and pulled the satchel away from beside him.

“Who’re you?”

The man shrugged.

“XD, do you know there’s someone here?”

Drista ran over and joined Schlatt in staring down at the man wearing the deer skin. “Can I push him off the mountain?”

Leave him alone. He’s an experiment.

“His bag is glowing,” Schlatt pointed out.

He’s a magician.

“You brought a magician?”

i think it's so crazy how much the dream smp changed everyone's lives. i mean, i, for one, only joined april 2021 which is when a lot of the main lore started dying down, but i can still look back on it and feel nostalgic. almost two whole years of my life revolved around the lore, the characters, trying to run around at 4am catching streams of them either just building or starting wars with each other (clearly there's no in between) and i can truly say it's one of the best arcs of my life.

watching a bunch of the members get together for the last time to kill the dragon so dream could shut down the server was the most bittersweet feeling i had ever felt. moving from tubbo to tommy to sam to bad and lastly to eret. hearing all their separate goodbyes, with tommy and tubbo watching the sunset while listening to the discs, sam in spectator mode with everyone just flying around looking at all the builds (my favourite part was them discovering old builds probably from 2020/2021 and getting excited about seeing them again after such a long time), bad doing the same and just talking about memories, and eret refusing to log off (even after four hours) ((i'm not gunna lie i was waiting for him to log off so i can safely say that dream was the last to leave the server but he took SO long - i know they were only trying to prolong the stream bc they didn't wanna leave which i understand)) and giving one last full tour of the museum. everyone had the most chaotic reactions to it that it truly ended in the most dream smp fashion.

no matter what ANYONE says, the dream smp lore went fucking hard.

also knowing that dream was the very last person to log off will forever keep the tears in my eyes.

i have so much more to say and i'll probably keep adding to this thread (for my sanity) but for now all i can do is say thank you to the server than genuinely brought happiness to me and everyone else.

thank you dream smp. you will always hold a very special place in my heart. nothing will ever compare to you. you changed the game forever.

so thank you to dream, george, and sapnap for creating this server. special mention to karl and quackity, ofcourse. callahan, punz, bad, tommy, tubbo, sam, ant, and basically every single member of the dream smp. you really went on this silly little minecraft server and changed everyone's lives. for the better.
