Tommy was not following directions.

The plan went wrong. Whatever happened in the shopping district let Dream get away again, and he took most of the best fighters the hermits had with him.

Tommy read those messages so many times that the words didn't register as words anymore.

[Etho was doomed to fall by Dream]

[stressmonster101 was burnt to a crisp whilst fighting Dream]

[iJevin was slain by Dream using Nightmare]

[Grian was slain by GoodTimeWithScar]

[GoodTimeWithScar went up in flames]

[xBCrafted hit the ground too hard whilst trying to escape Dream]

Tommy dug his shovel into the dirt so hard that he felt the impact in his forearms. That made eight deaths, nine if Scar's second demise was counted. That was eight people who died since Dream got here. That was eight people that could've been spared if Tommy didn't run.

Tommy slammed a piston into his excavation with gritted teeth. It wasn't fair. Even if the hermits didn't die canon deaths, they still got hurt. Tommy couldn't just pretend that death didn't matter. These people died for him, and they kept dying.

Enough was enough.

Xisuma hid Tommy away as soon as Etho's message popped up in chat, but with every new message proving Dream was too powerful to be planned around, Tommy got more restless. So, he snuck out through the floor of the winehouse to set the trap up while everyone else was distracted.

Tommy's racing thoughts quieted momentarily as he lined up the obsidian to the sticky pistons. He had to focus. This trap had to work.

Nothing can be allowed to go wrong.

Sweat stung Tommy's eyes and he half-assedly swiped his dirty sleeve over his forehead. His redstone had to be perfect. He couldn't mess up, not now. Did pistons need repeaters or comparators? What did Mumbo teach him, again?

Tommy's hands were shaking. Focus. He had to ignore the smoke on the wind. He had to keep his mind busy.

Tommy threw down comparators behind the pistons and covered his handiwork with fresh dirt, pushing himself to his feet as he strung the tripwire hook across the maze's passage. Focus.

The wind stilled as Tommy worked, and he was suddenly very aware of how quiet it had gotten. The hairs on the back of his neck stood on end.

He was being watched.

Tommy crouched low again, pretending to check the wire. His heartbeat thudded in his ears.

A shuffle behind him prompted Tommy to jump to his feet, whirling around with his axe in hand. He faced nothing.

And then he heard his voice. That damned voice he never forgot.

"Tommyyy~"

A sob-fueled gasp bubbled out of Tommy's throat as he spun around, his hands so suddenly numb. This was the plan, this was going exactly how it was supposed to, but Tommy never anticipated how devastating it would be to go through this again.

"Tommy, why'd you run from me?"

It was everywhere. It was in his head. Tommy whipped to the side, switching to his sword and holding it out with both hands clenched so tightly he didn't think he could let go if he wanted to.

Shuffling from his right. The sound of cloth ripping, and stumbling. The maze was doing its job. Tommy's heartbeat thrummed in his throat.

"You left me all alone. Even I didn't do that to you."

Dream sounded genuinely forlorn. Tommy didn't let his guard down for even a second. He didn't dare speak.

"You really think these people are better than me?" He was moving around. Making his way slowly through the maze. Tommy stilled completely, barely even breathing in his attempt to listen.

"They can't even protect you, Tommy." Dream continued, his tone disapproving, as if the hermits were simply a bad influence.

Tommy curled his fingers tighter, his fear beginning to merge with rage.

The trap needed bait.

"FUCK YOU!" Tommy yelled at the top of his lungs, his voice cracking. "YOU FUCKING BASTARD!"

Instantaneous movement, quicker than any mortal could move. Tommy whipped around to be face to face with Dream.

Focus.

"You murdered them." Tommy growled, his voice shaking, clenching his teeth hard enough to distract from his rapidly beating heart. "You're a fucking monster."

Dream turned to the side, only slightly. Tommy knew he didn't take his eyes off him, under the mask. "Come on, Tommy, you don't mean that. You never did."

Tommy squeezed the handle of his sword and took a step back, and Dream took a step forward to keep them three blocks apart, just like Tommy knew he would.

"I do fucking mean it." Another step. "You ruined my fucking life."

"You started all this, Tommy!" Dream exclaimed, sounding exasperated. "You're the one that wouldn't just follow directions! You can't blame me for the things you did!"

Another step. Dream was almost at the wire.

"I am never going to do what you say, Dream." Tommy uttered, pooling his every terrible emotion from this awful fucking day into his words.

"I would rather die."

Step.

Click.

Dream halted abruptly when he heard the trigger, and Tommy's heart stopped.

Nothing happened.

"Tommy." Dream sighed, finally looking away from the boy to casually break the tripwire. Tommy couldn't breathe.

"Did you really think that would work?"

Xisuma paced back and forth outside Tommy's doghouse, his mind racing. What was he to do now? Dream destroyed their shopping district and slaughtered more of his hermits when they tried to stop him. He was a rampant force of merciless destruction, and now they had no idea where he was.

Tommy was safe, for now. That was the important part, but Dream needed to be gone. Xisuma had already tried several times to ban the invader as soon as he knew his name, but his magic couldn't grasp Dream's code no matter how hard he tried.

The magic in Hermitcraft had been strained since Dream's arrival, and Xisuma could feel the intensity amping up with every hermit's life that bastard took.

How could this happen? How was Tommy still alive, with how powerful his former admin was? How did Tommy ever manage to get away from that?

Xisuma shook his head. There was no time to dwell on that now. Dream had to be gone.

Tommy's words from their planning session haunted the back of his mind. 'For a trap, we need bait.'

There had to be another way. A way that didn't endanger Tommy like that. That wasn't fair. It wasn't right.

But Tommy knew Dream better than anyone else on the server. If Tommy said that's what needed to be done, then that was their best shot.

That didn't mean Xisuma had to like it.

Xisuma was shocked from his thoughts when he heard a scream from the fern maze.

Tommy.

"TOMMY!!"

Xisuma was typing on his administrator screen before he could register the action, and in a split second he at Tommy's side, face to face with Dream.

Xisuma shoved Tommy behind him and dug his feet into the grass, standing at his full height. "Tommy, get out of here."

"Xisuma," Tommy said, his voice high pitched and strained.

"Tommy's coming with me." Dream spoke, and Xisuma finally heard his voice. It was even, and smooth, and even a little smug. Nothing like his actions would suggest he sounded like.

"He's all I want. No more people have to die." Dream continued, as if he had any semblance of a point. "We can end this peacefully."

Xisuma pulled up his administrator screen with the hand that was holding Tommy back and kept his eyes on Dream.

"That's not gonna happen."

or the one where Tommy Innit-Craft is ten years old and it is Christmas. he is in this absolute giant fucking thing of a house because his parents divorced, and he’s there for his mom’s side of the family’s big Christmas party. The house is owned by some old geezer named Philza. his family then runs off because they almost missed the plane back home,

but oops, shit, we left the kid.

meanwhile kind old uncle Phil is stuck at a hotel cause his car broke down and it’s being repaired.. he’ll show up later.

side note: some other kid in the family he doesn’t even know tells him OOoOO look those guys are MURDERERS

it’s Wilbur and techno. Neither understand why the small children are running and screaming.

so Tommy is like, holy shit, I wished my family away, this is my house now. the wet bandits are unchanged because I can’t make them any better lol. so Tommy kicks these grown mens’ asses for like four hours.

He runs from the house to get away from the bandits who nearly get him, and then bonks into tech and Wilbur while he’s on the street. immediate connection, he asks for help.

“sure,” techno says. “I’m always up to punch a guy in the face.”

So the three try and overpower the bandits. they succeed.

Phil shows up.

“oh, hi dad,” Wilbur says awkwardly.

“what the fuck,” says Tommy.

Yeah it turned out Wilbur and Techno are Phil’s kids, but they had to leave the house when everyone was there because I dunno great aunt Bethany hates them idk. plot ok.

so his mom shows up and is like “holy hell I’m so sorry” and Tommy’s like “idk mom these guys are my new family actually”

so yeah. since mom can’t take care of him well due to the divorce, Phil does instead. and mom comes to visit often. because she’s not evil yippee.

idk man I really like home alone. and I thought this would be a really fluffy silly au 👍

Wow, I’ve been away for awhile— since before Spooky Month. Great bouncing icebergs! (That was a reference to the 1964 Rudolph Claymation, if you were confused.)

Well, here I am again, bringing ya’ll another piece in time for the holidays. I'm posting this at almost 11 p.m. at night on Christmas, so I apologize, it's somewhat late.

Ice skating— I was never that good at it, and I always worried about making a fool out of myself by falling. One thing I can say, it hurts like hell when you fall on hard and cold ice. Seems from this depiction, Skeppy is about to endure that tumble, maybe bring Bad down with him (hehe). Abel appears to have gotten the hang of it, and his brother even more so. Bella has some trouble staying balanced, but with the help of her father, she’s feeling less insecure. She and a6d are most intrigued with Ozzy’s performance, as a youngin with no experience with ice skating, he waltzes like he’s done it all his life.

It’s the Christmas holidays! Many hermits had gone back to their home servers to spend time with family, whilst the rest stayed on hermitcraft together. 

Those staying on hermitcraft decided to host a large ‘party’/ festival inviting the hermit's friends and families and any popular people from other servers such as; Empires, Dsmp, MCC, etc. Now, everyone knows a good party needs music and you’d expect no less from Hermitcraft than one of the Best idols across all the servers, Ariana Griande! Luckily, Grian has an Amazing, truly the best sister; Pearl, who can help back up his story of being with family and unable to visit the party.

Ariana sat on the stage, drinking a bottle of Fanta and just generally relaxing. She had her hair plaited back to keep it out of her face and was wearing a comfortable pink sweater that hung off her shoulders with a soft pleated black skirt. Martyn stood next to her.

 “Martyn, you know you don’t have to stay with me all night.? I know your friends with most of the hermits.” She looked towards Martyn, poking his shoulder. “Yeah, yeah. But I'm your bodyguard, plus. I don't want to leave you on your own.” he sighed, sitting down on the stage Causing Ariana to chuckle, “You're a big softy! Why aren't you like this when I'm just Grian!?” She fake pouted, they didn’t have to worry about being overheard due to the loud chatter across the server.

Zedaph seemed to appear out of nowhere, not that he noticed Ariana and Martyn. The ram hybrid seemed very suspicious, redstone dust covered his face and he was smiling like he’d done something- “Zedaph, mate you good?” Martyn waved his hand at Zedaph, snapping him out of his trance.

“Yeah, I'm great actually!” Zedaph responded, practically skipping over to them. It took Ariana a minute to realise she should probably introduce herself (You never think you'll have to re-introduce yourself to someone, it's a bit awkward honestly) She stuck her hand out for a handshake, “nice to meet you! I'm Ariana,” Zedaph took her hand, shaking it slowly, “Yeah- yeah i know who you are.. My name is Zedaph.” (God, she’ll never get used to the awkwardness) 

“ZEDAPH.” Doc's voice could be heard screaming through the server, causing Zedaph to burst into laughter, “Man, Zed what did you do?” Martyn asked, trying to spot Doc.

“Oh… Nothing.”

“Zedaph, come here!” 

Zedaph paused, “I’ve got a bad feeling about this now..”

Ariana looked at him, tilting her head slightly, “What do you mean.?” Zed was confused for a second, unsure of how to respond, “.. Don't you ever get that little voice in your head that tells you if you're going to get into trouble?”

“Uh… No? Should I.? Is this something everyone has?”

Martyn hit himself in the face with his hand, sighing in disappointment, “That explains.. So much.”

“You know, Ariana, you remind me of my friend Grian.” 

Martyn burst out laughing, leaving Ariana to stumble out a response,

“O-Oh, that's- that's funny. You- you might need to introduce me to this, this, grain? Grian?”

“You’ve never heard of Grian? He’s quite popular..”

“NOPE. NEVER HEARD OF HIM- I don't get out much- yep. That's it.”

Totally not asking to procrastinate on literally writing my own. Nah. I don’t even know what procrastination is.

SKLFDJSJHDJFLH INFODUMPING ABOUT MY AU? ALWAYS. I'M SO GLAD YOU ASKED.

Okay so! Where should I start? *rubs hands like that one evil toddler cousin on Christmas*

The background setting!

So the fic already has a name, but I'm keeping it AND the MC secret as a lil surprise for when the fic is eventually published. All I will say about it is, it's not Tommy. *gasp*

Tommy does appear though, so I'll start there to avoid detection I think.

He works at the bakery(yes, it's owned by Niki Nihachu), which is right around the corner from the hero headquarters. So heroes are always stopping by for baked goods, especially since Niki's girlfriend, Puffy, has a son who's one of the top heroes, and he told all his friends about how good the bakery is.

And, of course, true to all the clichés, Tommy and his two roommates work as vigilantes. They don't work only at night, though. They work at lunchtime as well, since they all get an hour of lunch break & a lot of villains are out and about around that time. Counterintuitive, but then again, there are a lot of people in the streets to nab as hostages, and some villains actively seek out heroes to fight anyway. Like Redrum, known as the sharp-clawed, since he's apparently a catshifter (or general shapeshifter, who knows) who goes around stabbing heroes.

Tubbo works at the mechanics, his boss is retired hero/hero trainer Sam Dude(known as Warden during his time)! Sam retired among controversy though, because of issues surrounding the Hero HQ's former resident healer/ex-licensed hero, Lemon Balm. Tubbo couldn't care less though, Sam's nice and lets him take spare parts home for inventing(read: making vigilante gadgets).

Ranboo helps out at the local library, with Technoblade(last name unknown) as his boss! They're also the first out of the vigilante team Bench Trio to find out that Techno is the Blood God, one of the most popular vigilantes currently active, and one half of the elusive Emerald Duo.

Phil runs a bird shelter, and when he's out as the Angel of Death, he sometimes lets the crows from the shelter follow him around!

Kristin is a hero-turned-vigilante, formerly Miss Trixtin, currently the Goddess of Death. She's a bit busy with her day job atm though so she's taking a bit of a break from her vigilante job.

Wilbur is their son who left home after an argument about vigilantism not helping reform the corrupt hero system. He's a villain called Silver Tongue now. He keeps stealing important stuff from the Hero HQ with Fundy. He gets pretty close with Tommy after regularly visiting his (adoptive) son's workplace :D

Bench Trio's vigilante names are Aerie(Tommy- telekinesis + singing to plants to make them grow), Bee Bomb(Tubbo- honey colored explosive energy balls & metal manipulation), and Endgame(Ranboo- teleportation & compression, plus they can bite through anything)!

(Double powers are uncommon but not too rare, triple powers are EXTREMELY rare.)

Tommy's bakery coworkers are Fundy Soot(villain- helps his adoptive father, Wilbur, on his little outings. Ability to go unnoticed by everyone and anyone. It works on technology as well. He's also a general shapeshifter in theory, but he can't transform into animals bigger than a fox.), Badboy Halo(civillian- he can make red vines grow out of the ground! This saved Skeppy's butt once, cuz they used to live in the same neighborhood & went to the same schools, and one time Skeppy fell off the flagpole of the middle school. Bad's vines caught him midair.), and later on Ant Frost(🤫).

Niki herself is actually a former hero who resigned, she got too much hate about her power(copying others' powers for a short while). Puffy, who was her partner, retired a few years later, since she'd decided to adopt the orphan boy who had applied for the hero training program, and she'd need more money than she was making as a hero who had lost most of her popularity. She became a therapist, and fully supported her new son Foolish throughout his hero training!

Puffy and Niki never really talked about their relationship, but since Puffy's power is reading minds & emotions, and Niki can copy her power, they didn't have to. One day they just started telling people they were taken, and that was that.

Foolish is a popular hero who can call up storms & has the additional power of building anything in the blink of an eye! His partner(both work AND romantic) is Eret, who can control people's actions if they catch sight of her glowing white eyes. Their hero names are the Golden Shark and Monarch respectively.

Tina is also a hero, she graduated the hero training program with Foolish, but her powers(always landing on her feet when she falls, enhanced senses including night vision, and stealth) coincide too much with the top hero, Dream(can't get hurt from falling, slowing down time to give himself time to think, some enhanced agility), and she didn't get very popular. This will soon change though, Tina is the GOAT and everyone will know it.

Speaking of Tina, Hannah Rose the retired hero! She runs a flower shop! She retired after one of her wings was ripped during a fight, the physical therapy took a while and her popularity dropped like a stone. She realized how unfair the hero system was to unpopular heroes and decided to retire. Her wings still haven't recovered, her flight balance is too off for her to even consider flying more than a few feet off the ground, and more than a few seconds.

Las Nevadas! Quackity! He's one of the rare triple powered people! Golden duck wings, can manipulate card-shaped objects(a form of telekinesis), and has the ability to control odds(only if he's aware of all the variables though. It won't work very well if there are unknown factors).

Charlie! May be an elder god, may be the devil, who knows! He can turn into green slime, create green slime(with various properties), and additionally, knows everything about everyone. Nobody actually knows if this is a power or not, but it's certainly terrifying paired with his cheerful, optimistic personality.

Purpled! His skin is basically invincible, fireproof, acidproof, poisonproof, you name it. He also has perfect aim, which is very handy since he's an assassin. His sibling Punz is also an assassin, but they has flight trajectory manipulation and his eyes can zoom in on anything.

Skeppy. He's not part of the mafia, but he might as well be becuase he's literally always there. Nobody knows how he does it. But. He. Is. Always. There. He can summon diamonds though so nobody's complaining😊 lol

(But seriously, he's also fun to hang out with and plan pranks with. The mafia world is full of people who want something from you/have ulterior motives, and it's nice to hang out with someone who doesn't want anything from you other than keeping him company and talking with him.)

Sam, Foolish and Punz are friends! Sam suspects Punz is mafia but keeps quiet about it(he isn't about to make the same mistake as last time), Foolish is oblivious. Punz loves his homies, but is stressed bc Foolish has a v strict moral code and would not be happy if he finds out Punz is mafia.

Uhhh who have I not talked about, KARLNAP. Sapnap was a vigilante(he failed the training program interview) who quickly got recruited by the heroes, Karl was the same but a while later! Sapnap got patrols with Dream and GeorgeNotFound(all three go by their actual names as heroes, though Sapnap's vigilante name was Flame) and immediately gained a huge following(besides his fans from his vigilante days), but Karl(a.k.a. Timekeeper) wasn't that well-known even as a vigilante. He didn't give up though, and trained extremely hard every day. Then one day Sapnap saw him in the training area and got an instant crush. They talked, Sapnap began asking to be paired with Karl for duo patrols, they started dating, and now they're both famous & known as the ultimate power couple :3

Hmm, it feels kinda anticlimactic to end like this, so have a codename compilation!

Tommy- Aerie(place to rest suspended in the air. Tommy can float things in the air so I thought the name fit.)

Tubbo- Bee Bomb(Bee Bombs are wildflower seed balls that you leave out in the garden/in pots to grow wildflowers. I thought Tubbo would like the name, since his energy balls are supposed to smell sweet like wildflower honey.)

Ranboo- Endgame(They're so overpowered with their teleportation and compression that Tommy and Tubbo insisted his appearance alone would signal the beginning of the endgame. Nicknamed Ender.)

Technoblade- the Blood God(obviously.)

Philza- the Angel of Death(also obviously.)

Wilbur- Silver Tongue(for his silver tongue.)

Fundy- either Nonexistent or Ghost, haven't really decided yet

omg my favorite question. so here is where you can find mangoball and here is where you can find the mangoball christmas special. basically Cheater Cheater (the real name of the fic but everyone calls it mangoball) is a satirical rpf social media au about minecraft youtubers posted by twitter user mangobaII. a lot of it is a criticism of the specific ways 2021 mcyttwt (and specifically dteamtwt) characterized mcyts. for example, wilbur soot was seen as the quirky weird guy which translates to his mangoball counterpart getting up to tons of illegal activities and being generally really strange. george was characterized as like. well you know how in yaoi the twink one is always reduced down to being dumb and childish?? yeah that’s what the fandom did to george and this is reflected in his mangoball character. also corpse husband is there. i don’t think he’s a specific criticism of anything. he’s just there. the only disclaimer i have to give is that some of the content creators written about in mangoball (dreamteam it’s dreamteam) fucking suck irl but i’m assuming you’re aware of that? either way it’s a fantastic read, i hope you enjoy it!!

Okay, so a few weeks ago (maybe closer to a month ago? Aksgajsgajsgjag no idea, my sense of time has been completely screwed since Christmas Eve) I read the first two chronological fics in this series, and pretty much instantly fell in love with the Wilbur in it :)

I don’t hardly ever come around to characters so quickly (I didn’t even come around to Ghostbur this fast!!) but yes, ice!Wilbur is one of my favorite characters now, I love him, he needs hugs and soft comforts, I love his two fics, I love SMP, I somehow love ice!Schlatt, I just… <333

Oh, and he’s called ice!Wilbur in order to differentiate him from c!Wilbur! Even though they’re sort of the same, they do have their own unique storylines and some differences in personality :)

hi just went through your block party au tag that is such an interesting and fucked up thing. mind talking more about exile. or the prison. i'm so interested.

ALWAYS. ALWAYS can i just say i was absolutely floored to have this in my inbox its been AGES since ive sat down and thought consistently about block party ...

exile . i cant remember how much ive talked about it ... tommy is more or less banished from the lmanburg House (wilburs house (schlatts house (now tubbos house) )) and is living with dream . dreams house is decrepit but manageable - tommy is contrastingly unmanageable at least in the beginning, trashing the place and causing problems while dream goes out all day to do who-knows-what (probably try to get george out of his awesome acid-based stupor) . tommy is routinely punished for rebelling through increasingly intensive rounds of isolation and destruction of things he owns (all shit we see in exile canonically) .

such an important part of exile is that it all starts small ... tommys got pictures and mementos and junk and of course those go to the chopping block, but the little shit in the beginning is like. throwing out snacks. no hot water. no sitting on couches. no mattress. escalating and getting worse . this stuff evolves from "not being allowed to go home" to "not allowed to leave dreams property" to "not allowed to even go inside". anything he scrounges up or things that ranboo might leave him are destroyed. eventually the awesome dog chain is introduced. the equivalent of tommy waking up drowning in the ocean is tommy also waking up drowning, this time in dreams disgustingly neglected for koi pond (same koi pond he bashed his brains against when dream shot him in the duel) . the timeframe is still wintry, like nov/dec and he still spends christmas out in the snow, this time with stupid dog chain secured, huddled against the locked back door while inside patches purrs and dream plays tommys disc (whichever one he had at that time i cant remember) .

i feel like a big aspect of exile in bp is that for the most part, tommy can still sort of see things happening. hes chained in dreams backyard but if he stretches he can see the cars coming up and down the street, he can hear the shouting from the block over, he can see the neighbors going about their lives and throwing the frisbee for their dogs. hes become an outsider but hes no longer removed in the way he is in canon dsmp

that christmas stream where dream gives him the picture of the lmanburg christmas tree .... haunting lol. idk its the little things . some sort of picture taken of the lmanburgians actually in that little house with the boarded windows and the panelling all smiling with the stupid tree in the middle, just a crappy polaroid or disposable camera pic for him to hold on to .

exile ends with that final destruction of his shit , a suicide attempt via drowning in koi pond AGAIN, and the rediscovery of the knife tommy brought to the first duel which he uses to pry/destroy the base holding the dog chain into the ground & then running off through to snow toward technos house, who in bp is the equivalent of an overgrown eagle scout with an armored jeep (this is the wither) (he ran it into the lmanburg house) and a lot of weapons & you know how the rest of it goes .

for clarification that is meant to be techno but h thought it was dream and said his lord farquaad cut was funny

the prison is such a fun place it is sams basement. heres an image that i sent h months i guess over a year ago

sam padlocks the hell out of the door at the top of the stairs . after the final confrontation which, honestly, was never discussed so we'll have to come back to that one, sam (neighborhood watchdog type) is tasked with taking care of dream and making sure he's unable to harm other members of society. the exile dog chain comes back in order to restrain him and as an added precaution for keeping him away from everyone else. its around his ankle (compared to tommys neck) and he can just barely reach up the stairs with it on.

tommy begs sam to let him visit - sam reluctantly agrees - sam monitors while tommy visits - sams place is attacked - tommy is padlocked in with dream. theres like a doggy door style situation in the door to the basement through which sam can give them food & communicate . this is also how the cat comes and goes - we decided against killjng the cat bc we are pussies so instead it just runs off and dream throws a fit

so in any other situation tommy would be able to evade dream by just living at the top of the stairs, but dream is able to snap the chain during tommys stay and thats no longer an option . tommy cant be let out because dream is no longer secure & his escape isnt a risk theyre willing to take .

so the cat runs off, dream is at his limit, tommy meets an untimely demise (gets his skull caved in either against the unfinished concrete floor or with some miscellaneous basement object following a nice time being flung down the basement stairs), dream refuses to "bury" him and so he isnt revived for a few days (in bp in order to be revived the face has to be covered before the sun rises, idr why we went with that mechanic but it makes for some fun situations ... leaving bodies unburied OR burying they incompletely can make for some fucked up revivals, see cfundy/ckarl/cwilbur-to-ghostbur)

idk i dont know what else to say. tommy is stuck in the basement of a man he trusted with the person who tortured him and is completely helpless unless its grappling with his bare fucking hands, which it eventually becomes and even then hes just not strong enough . the inside of his mouth is absolutely shredded by his braces. the basement smells like death for months.

The monthly playlist idea was stolen from @trenchcrows. I don’t know what a hallmarkau is- can you explain it?

I can explain it !!! OK, December 2021, an anonymous made a joke in my inbox about Ghostbur teaching Wilbur the spirit of Christmas, and I called it the "Hallmark AU", due to the Hallmark channel usually having cringe cheesy Christmas movies. I drew and talked about it a bit then, but some of the content then has changed now.

The AU is about Ghostbur (called Willow) and Wilbur being childhood friends that drift apart. They live in a small mountain town as kids, but Wilbur moves away as an adult hoping for something more in life than a boring town. Wilbur lives in a boring city and works a boring job, unhappy, he gets fired and moves back home. Because its a Hallmark AU, the drama is he hates holidays n small towns n all that, and when he reconnects with his childhood friend, Ghostbur tries to get him interested and happy with holidays again !! Wilbur was also mean to Ghostbur as kids, and has just held onto that guilt for like 10 years so he has a hard time trying to face Ghostbur, who is being so nice to him (doesn't deserve it!) Plus Wilbur reconnects with his family and old friends again too. Its just silly lolol, there are other characters involved, its mostly a Bursona AU so Wilbur's roommate is Pogbur and Ghostbur's friends are Lmanbur and Phantombur (all by different names!!) The dsmp storyline is Not involved at all. The catch-all tag is #hallmarkau and the comics/story are under #hallmarkcomic and fanart is under #hallmarkgift
