a dsmp royal AU of sorts, hope you like it 😅

In his youth king Philza had to resolve several conflicts by the borders of the kingdom, mostly armies from the neighborhood countries, for some reason convinced that the territories belonged to them. During that time he also met Techno. The young king had no reason to participate in the fights himself, yet decided to help his troops, by using some kind of magic potion found in the old royal family books. It transformed his arms into wings and he flew above the armies scaring the enemies, and even though he couldnt really do much more like that without using his arms for anything useful while flying, Technoblade with a crossbow and projectiles, who he took in the air with him, was not restrained by this fact.

And so after honestly quite a short war king earned his nickname of Angle of Death from the people. He also wanted to repay Techno in some way, and so he was named a minister of agriculture, because it was unfortunately the only free spot that would allow him to live by the king in his castle. Techno, while originally not really impressed by this decision, actually took his role seriously for a while, and after few years of hard work optimizing all the bureaucratic processes he managed to make it so his assistant Ponk managed all the paperwork for him, allowing him to spend his free time in the library or planting vegetables in his villa that he quietly bought in the suburbs of the city. Planting potatoes and other vegetables brought him joy, also allowed him to do some small scale experiments on optimizing their growth, the results of which could then be used to optimize their production in the economy of the country. One time he got into an argument with his neighbour, which escalated into a big bet of who can get more potatoes by the start of the winter. (Funnily enough, the guy did not recognize who his neighbor was until he lost the bet and Techno used his power to make a petty decree about him getting the official rank of the second place potato farmer.)

Meanwhile Phil had a kid named Tommy, and like a responsible parent (tm) made sure his friends would take a good care of him when he was busy with king stuff. Techno was exceptionally excited (not really, but he got used to the child and they actually grew pretty close over time). And so Tommy grew up under the occasional guidance from his dad and Techno or other inhabitants of the castle. One day he decides to secretly sneak out into the city, without telling anyone and without any of his guards to protect him and actually succeeded without getting caught (if you ask any of the guards that were supposed to be on duty that day, sir Technoblade was definitely not in any way involved in that). That day he met Wilbur, who was a few years older than him, but charmed by the manners of this random kid who cussed him out like a sailor when he accidentally knocked over a bucket of water on him on the street, they striked a conversation, which eventually led them to become friends.
