Lena was the featured guest at a fan convention shortly after the finale and her stans in the audience transcribed her comments on Twitter. From what I remember, she talked about how lonely she felt shooting the final season 'cause most of the cast was in another country shooting the Winterfell scenes. And, yes, she did say Jaime should've never slept with Brienne. Her stans cheered that, of course. She said Cersei truly loved Jaime. (Bish, where??) And that deep down Cersei loved Tyrion, too.

So much clownery right there. 🤣 Rather than embracing the true villain Cersei was, It’s like Lena and D&D were on this neverending quest to make her an anti-heroine feminist icon instead when the real anti-hero aka Jaime was made to be more of a villain compared to the books. I’m not surprised Cersei stans embraced Lena and Dumb and Dumber’s pathetic take on Larry and Carol. They took the S8 backlash personally and were butthurt over the overwhelmingly negative reactions to Larry and Carol’s bEaUtIfoOl aNd TrAgIcK death scene so they cling on any little worthless crumb thrown by the actors to make themselves feel better about their gross ship. Too bad those opinions meant squat in the long run and people still don’t think lovingly of Twincest, their 5 shippers still look like crazies, and J/B is still the beloved pairing.

Funny how even with all the attempts made to make Cersei look like a feminist icon...Emilia, Maisie, Gwen, and Sophie have all been given awards because of the characters they portrayed and for inspiring women. Lena has gotten noms but no actual awards for Carol lol and that speaks for itself.
