We're in this weird limbo right now with rally ob. New rules are being developed to be closer aligned to the FCI RO rules, but the process is slow and pretty painstaking, and while it's still ongoing we have no trials to attend. And when we do get a chance to trial again I don't really know what exactly the new rules will look like, so everything’s a bit ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ right now.
In the meantime, Kaija and I are just hanging out and having fun and making some lovely progress in training that may or may not end up being useful at some point. It's kinda nice having the pressure be off like this, and I'm trying to use our time in the rally limbo to work on my own attitude in training. Trying to get better at laughing off errors and backslides. I've struggled in the past with wanting to push through when my dog isn't getting it and with becoming flustered or frustrated bc we're in class and people are watching us etc etc etc. But pushing past what she's prepared for and getting frustrated when it doesn't really work has never actually helped. So I'm trying to just laugh and move on when mistakes do happen. And when something needs to be fixed, we fix it at home and then slowly bring it back to class, I don't worry about it in the moment.
I want to be as fair to Kaija as I can be while we're doing this silly little sport together, and not having any pressure to be trial ready in however many weeks is honestly really helping me stick with that mindset. Even when we fail spectacularly in front of everyone lol.

Here is an overview of some basic exercises that will get you started on your journey towards building strength and getting your dream body. You can use dumbbells with these exercises, a barbell or simply your body weight.

Squats: Squats are a great exercise for strengthening your legs and core. To do a proper squat, stand with feet hip width apart and toes slightly pointed out. Keep your back straight and make sure to keep the weight in your heels as you lower into a sitting position. You should go down until your thighs are parallel to the floor or just below. Then, push up through your heels to stand back up.

Lunges: Lunges help strengthen your quads, hamstrings and glutes. Start in a standing position with feet together and take a large step forward with one leg, bending both knees at 90 degree angles as you lower yourself towards the floor. Keep your torso upright throughout the movement and make sure your front knee does not go past your toes. Then, return to the starting position and repeat on the other side.

Push-ups: Push-ups are a great way to work several muscle groups at once, including chest, shoulders, triceps, and core. Start in a plank position with hands placed slightly wider than shoulder-width apart. Lower yourself down by bending your elbows, keeping your entire body in a straight line throughout the movement. Then push back up and repeat. If you’re not quite ready for a full push-up yet, you can start with wall push-ups instead.

Plank: Planks are an amazing core exercise that help to build strength and stability. To do a plank, start in a push-up position, but with your weight resting on your forearms instead of your hands. Make sure your back is straight, core is engaged and shoulders are pulled away from the ears. Hold for 30 seconds and repeat as desired.

Romanian deadlifts: Romanian deadlifts help strengthen your hamstrings and glutes. Start standing with feet hip width apart, holding a dumbbell (or any other weight) in both hands in front of you. With your torso straight, hinge at the hips to lower the weight down towards the floor until it reaches knee-level, or until you can feel your hamstrings. Squeeze your glutes to pull yourself back up to the starting position.
These are just a few basic exercises to help you get started on your strength training journey. With time and practice, you can add more exercises to your routine for a full body workout. So, get out there and start building some strength!

One of the most uncomfortable scenes is the one where Kinn catches Pete working out (before that it's Porsche once, but I didn't find that half as awful). Pete in a T-shirt and with a naked butt. Not only Kinn reacts defensively, for me as a viewer it was pure embarrassment.
I almost think catching someone jerking himself off would be less embarrassing.
But what if Vegas catches Pete in this very intimate activity?
Pete is standing on the opposite side of the room with his back to Vegas. (…) In that sense it’s incredibly fucking cute - but then there’s what Pete’s wearing. Or what he’s not wearing, rather, since all he has on is a shirt that just barely covers the curve of his ass as he moves. Every time he lifts his arms the shirt lifts as well and puts it on full display, and Vegas instinctively nudges the door further open a little bit just so that he can just take in the sight with amused admiration. Even now after they’ve been together for awhile, Vegas is still not sure how Pete manages to be adorable and yet incredibly fucking hot, so much so that now all he can think of is all the things he wants to do as soon as Pete finishes with his little exercise routine.
In the series, I didn't notice any sexual vibes at all in the corresponding scenes. I was rather busy crawling under the sofa because it was so incredibly embarrassing.
But the idea that Vegas could care less that both Porsche and Kinn saw him half-naked disappoints Pete. And that's where the eroticism begins, Vegas is just not Kinn.
“I should have remembered how much you like me being possessive,” he murmurs against Pete’s ear. He follows that up with a light flick of his tongue, and Pete shivers again and makes a small sound as he squirms where Vegas has him trapped, caught between his body and the wall. “Am I disappointing you, Pete? Not staking my claim when I heard that Kinn and Porsche have seen you like this?” Pete hesitates, but then nods his head shakily. “ A little,” he admits. The words send a spark of heat through Vegas, and he instinctively turns his head so that he can bite down on Pete’s neck, just to feel the way that his entire body jerks in surprise as he lets out a little whimper. He can taste salt and a light hint of sweat that just turns him on even more, especially with the knowledge that Pete is his, so much so that he actually wants Vegas to get jealous and claim him.
