Was dumbledor anti Muggle Borns or any kind of blood purist ? Of course not , right ? He was the leader and founder of the order after all , and the main force in opposition to Voldemort , no one sane of mind would say anything else . So how can the man he trusted with protecting the two things he cared most about , his students and his school be any different? Dumbledor may bitch and moan about Snape dangling from Voldemorts arm all he wants but at the very end he is the only one he truly trusted ,and to a level that is kinda insane , kill him and maggle his soul in the process check , become enemy number one of the light while having to work in close quarters with a lot of them , all very powerful people that will at some point try to take his head and giving them help from the shadows , all while some how staying alive ,check , keep working as a spy under Voldemort nose and see friends die , check and keep his mouth shut if Voldemort ever questions him on the wand true owner making sure he can never truly own it ,even if it costs him his life , check again ... I mean , wtf... would he have left such a load of responsibility on someone he wasn't sure had a good heart and deep convictions in line with his ? Hell no ! And the guy had no prophecy linking his fate with Voldemorts or any love for the order (so it seems) , the woman he wanted to save was long dead and her son was probably destined to die too for all he knew ,the light used him and given him nothing in return and Dumbledor still believed he would keep fighting , he had no doubt what so ever in fact ... It isn't just because Snape could do it but the very fact that he would that is important here .

Lately I've been pondering alot on footwear in the wizarding/wixen world...

Dumbledor really screwed Snape really really badly dint he ? He couldn't keep his own people alive(lily ) , even when they are in one place, hiding, for quite a while and not participating in any battle so u could say they were casualties he couldn't have prevented , even after using the fact that he was hiding them as collateral for his new spy risking his skin for him ... Literally between him and Voldemort just going for the killing curse instead of a stunner ...I would understand Snape having very conflicting feeling about either side, and betraying them both at some point . Dumbledor was lucky Snape could reverse most of the blame and hatred on himself and the marauders for how shit ended up , and he was at least better than Voldemort , because otherwise he would have a very pissed spy , and ex dark wizard he has to keep close and with access to his food and drinks (and candy ).
