Added subtitles to the "pilot episode" that Yusuke Murata uploaded of his anime project, Zaiyuki. He apparently is starting his own animation studio, and that kicks ass

vins first time using duralumin, brandon wrote this so freaking funnily ;
" A sudden force smashed against her. It was so powerful , she was certain that only an equally powerful flash of pewter held her body together. She blasted away from the keep, hurtling through the sky as if tossed by some giant invisible god. " - the well of ascension , page 108
goodbye vin! o/
I found I defaulted to a very specific body type in regards to drawing women. So, to better differentiate the designs of my main female OCs, I sat down for the past two weeks and rigorously hash out their anatomy and proportions. Especially since all three of them are rather fit and physically active.

do you reckon marsh is a savant in any of his metals? like he’s been around so long constantly burning stuff but he probably is?? do you think cause of the savantism his iron and steel would be strong enough to affect metals inside someone else’s body?
Bronze. It was his metal before everything and I can just see him burning it constantly to hang on to that identity.
The rest... My understanding of allomantic savantism is that you have to burn it constantly and it can screw you up a bit. Marsh has had a ridiculous amount of time to practice so he's going to be equally ridiculously good at whichever metals he wants to be. I'm not sure that makes him a savant? I think you could get really good at using Tin, for example, without ending up like Spook in HoA.
This might be a case of splitting hairs though. There could come a point where if you've had enough time to practice your abilities are indistinguishable from savantism.
He could be a savant with iron/steel though, depending. He's certainly good with them. But I mean his sight might mean burning steel/iron is redundant to find metals, so he might not burn either until he actually needs to push/pull.
Oh wait, possibly also copper, if he wants to go unnoticed. Could easily be burning that all the time.
Hmmmm. Would Savantism let him affect metals in someone's body? I... don't think so? I think that's basic strength of the power to start with, not savantism or even practice. But I could be way off.
I’ve been helping translate the Nakoruru visual novel for the Dreamcast, and the patch is out today! If you like VNs or Samurai Shodown, or just want to see what the heck I’m talking about, check out the forum post for more information.
how to turn a bird into god using cosmere mechanics
so let's say you had two full mistborn/feruchemist/awakeners/forgers. we'll call them Person A and Person B. Person A and Person B begin to burn nicrosil and duralumin over and over again (assume that they have infinite metals) targeting each other. this builds up an extremely fast chain reaction of increasing allomantic levels (nicrosil increases the power of the other person's metals, duralumin buffs nicrosil). they then ingest purified dor and store the investiture in their nicrosil metalminds. then, they begin compounding nicrosil, amplified to ridiculous amounts by the nicrosil-duralumin chaining they did previously. they now have unlimited amounts of investiture derived from purified dor (this is known as the Infinite Investiture Glitch). Person A worldhops to First of the Sun and goes to Patji's Eye. Using their unlimited investiture, they then Forge a maggot to have consumed the entire perpendicularity, inheriting all its investiture. Here's where the awakening comes in. Person A repeats the Infinite Investiture Glitch for their own breaths, achieving every heightening and gaining unlimited breaths. then, kill the maggot. does it lose the investiture from the perpendicularity? no. then Person A uses the unlimited breaths to Awaken the maggot and make it sentient. Then they Forge the maggot, using their unlimited investiture, into a full mistborn and feruchemist. they Command the maggot to preform the Infinite Investiture Glitch on the investiture derived from the perpendicularity they consumed. they should now obtain-shard level investiture. then, the maggot is fed to an aviar. if the symbiosis applies correctly, the bird should ascend to shardhood. the bird god has arrived. bow down to the bird god
Questioner: If a Leecher who also could burn duralumin touched a normal person and then burned both metals at the same time, how bad is that gonna be for you?
Brandon Sanderson: Let me ask you this. What do you think's gonna happen?
Questioner: There is a very short-term, like, "where is my soul" effect? It may or may not be permanent?
Brandon Sanderson: I'm gonna RAFO this one for now, because I'm planning to do some of this in the future. But I'll RAFO it for now. I think you're theorizing in the right direction. Duralumin lets some weird things happen, as you will see in the books.
Prompt originally made me think of Vin using Duralumin to boost her powers, but I wasn't sure how to draw that, so have Vin doing regular Mistborn things.
My first fully painted kit! She’s not perfect, but I’m still happy with how she came out. I keep making scribing mistakes that end up causing big scratches on a piece. I’m sure if you zoom in you can probably find the scratches.
I didn’t intend for the inner frame/joints to be so dark. Now I know to not use a black base coat go with a grey color next time. I also realized I’m not a fan of glossy metallic so I want to matte coat them next time to go for a satin finish.
