hey all ! it’s been a while since i made my own post.

here are some highlights and lowlights (anyone else listen to gals on the go?)

lowlights:

☽ i’ve struggled with gathering mental and physical energy to do my work

☽ i’ve spent lots of time on mandatory events, classes, and assignments that i don’t particularly enjoy (as much as i love my extra curriculars and my majors, there are aspects to them i don’t always enjoy)

☽ because of these two points, i haven’t spent as much time on my studyblr as i would like

highlights:

✰ i’ve created room for activities with friends that i genuinely enjoy and don’t feel obligated to do

✰ i’m representing the organizations i’m a part of with pride — whether on a shirt, instagram, or stickers, i’m actively choosing to remember why i choose to be a part of them

1/100 days of productivity - feb 9th, 2019

I’m doing the 100 days of productivity to procrastinate less and to motivate myself. I started my new bullet journal, which should also help me with those goals.

The notes are from my molecular biology class from last semester, since I didn’t study very much today. I mainly focused on setting up my bullet journal and I looked at my notes from molecular diagnostics and cell biology.

Tomorrow I’ll print the printable from @emmastudies to keep track of the 100dop. Hopefully I’ll succeed and be more productive

Thanks @dutchlabstudent for tagging me! I love to do tags (might be procrastinating tho) :D

Soooo, let’s get started!

Favourite comfort food: lentil bolognese sauce and pasta! When I first tried that recipe I flipped because it was so good! And also, of course, chocolate is a kind of comfort food for me :D

Favourite alcohol (or hot drink!): umm, I think that’s a Lillet with some Wildberry Schweppes in it <3 I also drink tea almost every day and I love a good old Radler (beer mixed with lemonade!) but you can’t say that loud where I live :D people would hate me for that! (Beer is kinda holy here..)

Favourite relaxing activity: I love to watch letsplays on Youtube and I absolutely love it when I have to drive somewhere, haha. Sounds weird but just being on the road is one of my favourite activities (apart from the sustainability aspects, I just do it when I have to ofc!). I also love to take my dog for a longer walk or we go and explore some hiking paths! :)

Favourite calming scent: my dog (she is always smelling like the outdoors -trees, grass, blooming flowers, ahh) because she mostly is laying around in our garden haha) and black tea with (plant)milk in it <3. It reminds me of the breakfasts we used to have at my grandparents’ house.

Favourite relaxing (or uplifting) song: there are SO many! I like to listen to Panic! At the Disco when I want to be uplifted, and I love Tom Odell or Moby when I need something relaxing.

Favourite white noise: ummm.. what is that? Or, what is meant by that? help

Favourite book to get lost in: I didn’t read in ages, tbh. But when I did, I loved the Millenium-trilogy or “der Schwarm” by Frank Schätzing. (German, tho)

Favourite chill out tv show: I loved watching the Bridge and sex education, haha. But I don’t watch anything atm.

Best advice you’ve ever had: My mum uses to say “if you can’t go right, you can always go left” as a way of saying that there are more solutions to a problem than just one. :)

only a few more weeks before school starts! to get ready i’ve been...

✏️ waking up earlier

✏️ slowly adjusting back to scheduled days
