7. What's the biggest risk you’ve taken with your story? did it pay off?

Being cynical enough to don't give a "happily ever after" to any of my characters xD I mean, Eis story (Snow White) was a safe bet. Poor defenseless pregnant teen girl goes through a lot but at the end gets a happy life. But Ella gets her prince, who ends up being a jackass, she is still miserable and the villain wins. I was happily surprised when I saw most of you liked the turn of events!

24. Are there any characters who remind you of yourself?

Actually... no? I'm a normal and quiet person and my sims tend to have pretty quirky personalities 💁

10. is your story fully planned or are you still working things out? is there a definitive end?

2.B.A Grandmaster definitely has a "come up with things as you go" sort of process, but I do have a lot of plans for things I want to work in, so I'd say it's about half planned! I do in fact have an idea for the ending though. 👀

15. what have been the highlights of creating your story?

Easily the best part has been being able to share my story, and watching everyone's reactions! Before joining Simblr, I didn't share my writing with anyone but my sister, so being able to receive as much feedback as I do now is a new (and very fun!) experience for me!!

18. choose a song that reminds you of your story

I actually struggled to find a song that fit the story in general, rather than specific characters, but I think the best I can come up with is Villain by Stella Jang!

hey lovely, I saw that post you reblogged about compliments sometimes being a mask for people putting their own skills down. I don't disagree at all ftr, but for me personally, my compliments are genuine and come from a place of being really inspired. When I see or read peoples' work that I perceive to be of a higher level than my own work, I tend to get inspired and want to dive back into my own. Commenting on the work that inspired me is how I show my appreciation for that inspiration 😊

That’s valid and true! It’s just a feeling I’ve noticed occasionally, especially when people put themselves down while complimenting others, and it makes me nervous because in my experience, the more someone comes off as feeling like they’re inferior to me the more likely they are to turn on me and join in the hate and gossip about me later.

Compliments are cool and valued and appreciated! Putting yourself down to do it isn’t, and I am all about people learning to value themselves and their own work.

ABC - The Lexicon of Love. Trevor Horn’s magnum opus and my favourite pop album of the 80s.

Duncan Sheik and Steven Sater - Spring Awakening (Original Broadway Cast Recording). I became quite obsessed with this, and it was one of the best decisions in my life to book front row seats, go from Germany to New York and see it live with most of the original cast. Jonathan Groff spits a lot while singing, it was like sitting in a drizzle!

     Aerie turned with a start, surprised when the man smiled at him like they were old friends. “Uh, yeah I guess?”      “Sorry, you looked pretty lost in thought, I didn’t wanna scare you,” he said, his grin wide and infectious. “I’m Felix. It’s been awhile, Aerie.”      “Been a—wait, Felix? The Felix dad is always going on about?” Aerie asked, realization dawning. “I thought you were with my sister! You came back? Is she okay? Am I too late?”      “Whoa, hold up,” Felix told him, shaking his head. “I was with Winter, but that was a while ago for me. I got a bad habit of bouncing around time like a marble in a bottle, kid, I never know when I’m at.”      “You mean where?” Aerie asked.      “Yeah, that too sometimes,” Felix admitted.      “How did you find me?” Aerie asked, mystified and admittedly curious about the man Vlad was so passionate about, the same man who had apparently charmed his sister alongside a woman named Felicia, whose relationship to Felix still escaped Aerie’s understanding.      “You told me where and when,” Felix said, backtracking with, “Well, you will. You’d better anyway. No wait, we’re here, so you definitely do. Or someone does.”      Aerie shook his head, confused but increasingly curious.      “It don’t matter so much, what happens has to happen,” Felix said, waving it away. “Look, Aerie, I wanted to see you before you guys go. I need a favor from you.”      “From me? What can I possibly do for you?” Aerie asked. “I’m going back home to my own world. I hope I make it, anyway.”      “That’s the thing,” Felix said, earnest. “I need you to carry a message for me, for Winter.”      “Sure, of course,” Aerie said, nodding. “What do you want me to tell her?”      “Tell her we’re sorry for how things ended. We would never have left that way if we’d been given a choice,” Felix said, increasingly somber as he spoke. “Tell her we love her and our family and we always will. There’s more in this note, but that’s just for her, yeah? I just need her to know we still think of her and miss her, always.”

hey lovely! I just caught up with your gorgeous story and I've been wondering something! How did you edit the apartment building in Evergreen Harbor? I'm assuming a mod of some kind? (I'm playing in the same building atm & my game's got a glitch that won't even let me change the floors 🙄😅)

Hey hey 😌💛 Thank you so much for the love! So, here’s where I’m going to get exposed- I’m actually using neither of the actual apartments in Evergreen, since I absolutely can not stand the exterior and window placements 😅

I did try using bb.fulleditmode, but that didn’t work either. So if anyone knows of a mod that allows you to edit apartments, please feel free to suggest! I’ll put the way I went about it, under the cut:

That’s the lot I’m actually using! So, you can either build the building from scratch or if you’re lazy like I am you can search ‘apartment complex’ or ‘apartment building’ in the gallery and find something you like from there!

Apartment Complex by KayviaBuilds is the one I used the shell/base from, since it actually looks pretty similar to the EA apartment buildings structure-wise. And below is the result after I edited it to suit my needs!
