what kind of Devil Jin relationship has with Jin? Kind of tough love?
Tough love?? Mm... not really. It's more like "I like you but you're not doing what I want and that makes me angry" kind of relationship. Well, DJ's feelings toward Jin, at least. It's a bit complicated so it's harder to explain than just saying "tough love" or something like that.
Their relationship is complicated just because of the situation they're put in. They're natural enemies due to their opposing desires and morals. However, unlike say, Jin and Kazuya who have nothing but hate for each other - Jin and DJ are different because Jin can't get away from DJ and vice versa. They're always together, they literally share the same body. So, this causes them to know each other better than anyone else. This causes them to be there for each other when no one else is.
Deep down, DJ does like and care about Jin. Even if at first, he wouldn't want to admit it. It's why he gets so angry at Jin when Jin refuses to give what he wants or stay by his side. DJ wants Jin by his side, he just wish Jin would see things his way. DJ's also a devil person and not a human - a devil that wasn't intended to love, so... he has a warped perceptions on it and doesn't really know how to express it properly.
Meanwhile, Jin actually hates DJ more than DJ hates him (at least to begin with) because DJ's reason for disliking Jin is from Jin refusing to be by his side, and also preventing him from achieving his goals (taking over the world / search for ultimate power.) But Jin dislikes DJ because of how horrible DJ treats him. From the nightmares, to berating, and then the fear that DJ will kill everyone he loves.
However, as I've mentioned - since they're always by each other's side... not all the time they've spent together were violent. They've had some times when they got along alright. Hence, why it's complicated, why it's confusing for their feelings, and why it's a different kind of "enemyship" than Jin has with his other foes.

After John realized shit was getting bad, he called for Celina or anyone a CODE 99, which in this case is a big red "EMERGENCY" button that alerts other officers of trouble. Luckily, Celina was able to push the button to signal for help.
Eventually, the cavalry arrived and cleared the room, allowing John and Celina to walk away with their lives.
On a side note, the elbow to the face is just devastating (poor Nolan!). I'll have to remember that move in case I'm in a physical altercation in the near future.
I volunteer to make Nolan feel better by offering cuddles and uh...other...things. Hahaha...
May share my Lil story concept for you? Omori but our boy doesn't know he's an avatar of Sunny and he lives happy in Headspace. Doesn't know about Something and Stranger, he's scared of them and deals "strange visions" about being called Sunny, Basil being a stranger and Mari is dead. When Sunny opens the door, Omori's life goes to 180 grades. He sees the changes of Headspace to real world, to the point of being terrified of his friends. The moment when he learns the truth of his existence and everything, Omori hates Sunny for ruining his life and says he's lying and his friends will be back and Mari isn't dead.
Hey, everyone 😊 I started watching the Outlander TV show recently and I cannot stop thinking about what would happen if Claire returns to her own time and takes Jamie with her.
First of all, seeing Jamie get to learn about electricity, running water, cars, etc. + adapt to 1940s decorum and general lack of violence + the anguish of learning that Scotland did not gain independence would be fascinating! Along with of course the drama of a Frank-Claire-Jamie love triangle. And I feel like Claire would have trouble reconciling her Frank with the horrendous Jack Randall, considering they share the same face.
Can anyone recommend fanfics with this premise? (They don’t have to cover any of my ponderings, but that would be a bonus. I just would love to see this fandom’s take on the idea.)
