having a normal one watching Bdubs lim life tonight and thinking about how when Bdubs betrayed Tango in last life, Skizz told Tango that for the sake of team best he had to go and forgive him.

But when Bdubs boogey kills Skizz in lim life before team ties is even really formed, Skizz is allowed to have it out for Bdubs for almost the entire first half of the season, even when the clockers ally with them and it would've been easier to let sleeping dogs lie.

Tango, the perpetually extraneous and undervalued member of his alliances...the too often shoved aside and betrayed...being told it was his duty to the team to forgive bdubs and move on....

But no one—especially not Tango—tried to tell Skizz to let it go.

Pros of dating Margaret in RF4 - she's very cute and sweet and all around lovely. She's also the only girl to get a skill exclusive to romancing her, and it is BUSTED. Her healing rainbow wave is the best support move in the game, IMO.

Cons of dating Margaret in RF4 - Unless you get obscenely lucky or choose to save scum a lot, you will NEVER be able to marry her.

#rune factory #rf4 #rf4 margaret #to be clear this is a SLIGHT exaggeration. eventually you'll get her FOUR required events. but... #expect it to take so long that there is virtually NOTHING left to do in the game #you can EASILY beat rune prana AND do all the eliza requests before being able to marry margaret #and at that point what is left? trying to gold crown all shipment stuff? that's SO tedious and NOT fun #at that point i can't find the motivation to keep playing and just want to start over #fun fact on my FIRST playthrough of the game - before i knew how everything worked - i dated margaret #i fell in love with her almost instantly and get her 'thoughts lost in the lake' event very early on #we were like 3-4 FP level so it felt like the natural and organic point to switch to calling her Meg #and THEN i got her mini-event right before confessing (successfully! on the first try!) at 7 #so not only was i REALLY digging her but the game had given me these lovely coincidences to make it feel RIGHT #it just felt so natural and real to date her and i was so excited to eventually marry her #but then. BUT THEN. literal YEARS passed in game. so many dates. affection WELL PAST 10 hearts. #but her other 3 events eluded me. i got ONE eventually. but my patience ran out. #i didn't necessarily want to be a cheater but i knew the game allowed me to date multiple people with no repercussions #so i started confessing to the other girls. at first just clorica since she was my second fave at the time... #but then xiao pai as well since clorica was NOT biting and i could only take so many platonic just friendsly 'i love you too's #i ended up dating xiao pai 2nd and she was the first person i married. and she's probably my favorite girl now #but i kept a save file where i rejected her because i still held out hope for margaret #in the meantime i decided to go for as much content as possible and aimed to date/marry ALL the girls #and let me tell you - i SUCCEEDED. in ONE file where i initially JUST wanted to marry margaret... #i ended up dating and marrying EVERY OTHER GIRL first. and i STILL never got all the events i needed before finally giving up #i like margaret a lot but marrying her is SUCH a pain. on my recent NEW file i got lucky and got 3 of her events in a single year #so my hopes are up and i chose to date her again. but in my mind and heart i know - i FEAR - her final event will just never proc #anyway take it from me - she's a trap. unless you have the patience of a SAINT you should pursue literally anyone else #thank god none of the dudes cause me similar issues

for laslow and siegbert--well first off, i think laslow always can provide a particular brand of emotionally-based support that develops more as siegbert gets older. siegbert has his Anxiety Issues, and where laslow and xander both struggle w sociality as well, i think laslow can relate in a more... empathetic way? dealing with some of the emotional aftermath and letting feelings be feelings (this isn't to say siegbert doesn't go to xander or that xander doesn't help, i just think they're good at different things). on a more lighthearted note, i think laslow's really good at getting a giggle out of siegbert, and good at finding ways to alleviate pressure. he's been doing this for years with xander. and yes, xander and siegbert need different things, but laslow's good at pinpointing those things

something i rly like abt their relationship is that i think that where siegbert more openly shows his idolization of xander (like we see in-game), he still does something really similar with laslow. looking up to him, taking inspiration from him. it just comes out in different ways. for example, siegbert probably trusts laslow's opinions... a lot. considers his sometimes more than his own. and he's just fascinated by the stories he tells. even after laslow's married to xander, i like to think he still travels (and drags xander with him as often as he can--and also drags their kids along as often as he can hahaha), and those stories in particular really entrap siegbert. which is good for a budding prince, i think something laslow (and eventually siegbert and soleil) has that xander lacks is some open mindedness, and not being so narrowly nohr-centric in his perspective--esp in upbringing, if that makes sense. this is also why i like laslow taking xander traveling, cause ultimately i think it would do him good.

ONTO!!! soleil and xander!! ive mentioned before how much i like the grumpy-dad and peppy-daughter dynamic, but. to reiterate: i really really like it gjsjfjsnf soleil, similarly to laslow but probably even more, tends to go to xander and ramble about her girl successes and failures. just barging into his office like i hope you're not busy cause i have things to SAY!! and i don't think xander dismisses her, but he does make her wait sometimes, hahaha. i also think xander will often tell soleil what she needs to hear, rather than what she wants, and ultimately for her that's better than the alternative. he's not entirely harsh (though he can be and that's something to work on), but honest. he also dotes on her more than he should by a xander-standard LOL

i think soleil provides to xander a lot of brightness--it is NOT lost on me that they named her soleil, sun, in a place like nohr. i think surrounding xander with bright people is a fantastic idea. and just like laslow's doing with the traveling thing, soleil probably gets xander to socialize a little more, haha. he isn't a brick wall that can't talk to anybody, but--he does strike me as the kind of guy who has coworkers, but not friends, ya feel me. soleil's confident and full of energy, and tbh i think she's the type to really want attention from her parents, so asking xander to come along with her is a frequent request. and that eventually, naturally, leads to xander getting out more. she doesn't have the same setback as laslow that if he gets shy enough he'll retreat entirely while they're out, hahaha

and one final note to round this off: i like to think!! that xander and soleil are both cat people (xander = cabbit, and soleil has lines about owning kitten posters), where laslow and siegbert are dog people (i have many aus where laslow has a pet dog so this is more of a 'because i said so' kinda thing) (also you might be inclined to think cat for siegbert also but i need you to look inward. deeper. i think he'd like the enthusiasm...!!! i have more i could say but i'll leave it at that)

omg hi i went insane and decided to go thru every single mushoku toumeisai entry (theres about 4800 songs this time!) one by one until i found null's entry! after going thru around 600 songs over 2 days & finally caving & going thru ones i didnt already on the ranking I FOUND IT!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is a bit petty, but the only guy I've ever truly let myself like used to compare me to characters in a way that felt wrong. It wasn't that the characters were an insult or that there was anything wrong with them, it was that I didn't relate to them and it felt like he didn't actually know me.

Now there's Karlach. I've pretty much said some of her dialogue word for word before. The conversation where she tells Astarion she's proud of him? I've basically had that conversation with that guy.

She's playful and carefree in a way that doesn't come off as childish. She's a badass warrior and everyone knows it. She'll do a silly dance and then crush her enemies.

I feel a little vindicated, knowing that if he's still into videogames--he's the one who introduced me to Dragon Age, he's why I'm here, this game is so directly up his alley it has his house number on it--there's basically no way he can look at Karlach without being reminded of me.

I just finished the Layton's Mystery Detective Agency anime and, I gotta say, it's incredibly superior compared to what the game did wtf. Almost every character in the main cast is more polished (to an extent ofc, it was a kiddy anime) and even most of the cases that were adapted from the game were funnier and more interesting.

Everyone was splendid, loved Kat's cheerfulness and determination. And at least they told us a lot more about her relationship with Hershel and her desire to reunite with him, unlike the game 💀

Sad that the PL community is more game-focused. Cus YouTube is plagued of videos of people ranting about how shitty LMJ was (and pretending that it's an impopular take) while nobody ever gives love to the anime interpretation of Lady Layton.
