The Funeral Of King Edward
Tumblr media
Four months ago, looking tired and frail two years after suffering with an illness in silence, the King appeared in public for the last time to try and raise some morale within the Army Forces Commucation Centre along with his wife Queen Emma as the war continued to drag along.
His doctors had kept the truth of his condition from his family on his request making the eventually tragedy more harder to deal with it. The King carried on with his duties until he eventually had an seizure in the late afternoon causing him to fall into a coma though this time unlike others, he never woke up. He was pronounced dead by his doctors late that fateful night.
He was fifty years of age and had been King for thirty six years, since the age of fourteen, in which time, weak and poorly advised and unprepared, he had considerable divided the kingdoms opinions.
