In my opinion, the fact that Jordan Peterson and Noam Chomsky have almost identical views on the war in Ukraine (they both believe that the main responsibility for the war on the US) speaks more not about right and left ideologies, but about how much Westerners limited by their own context. This blog was created under the impression that people from Western Europe and the US don't know ANYTHING about Eastern Europe and, most importantly, a lot of them don't want to know more, and the war only proved this!

HUNGARY'S PRESIDENT, VIKTOR ORBAN CALLS UKRAINE "ONE OF THE MOST CORRUPT COUNTRIES IN THE WORLD" IN INTERVIEW
In an interview with French Magazine, La Pointe, Hungary's Prime Minister, Viktor Orban laughed off the idea of Ukraine joining the European Union, and called Ukraine "one of the most corrupt countries in the world."
Orban has been firm in his staunch opposition to Ukraine joining the European Union, calling the country "corrupt" just one week before European leaders are expected to make a decision on starting talks for ascension to the bloc.
"Hungary is a neighbor of Ukraine... we know exactly what is happening," Oban told French magazine La Pointe in an interview Friday.
“Ukraine is known to be one of the most corrupt countries in the world. It’s a joke! We cannot take the decision to start a process of accession negotiations."
Next week, EU leaders will gather in Brussells to discuss two major decisions on Ukraine; one to approve the decision to begin ascension talks with Kiev, and the second to release €50 Billion ($54 Billion) in aid to Ukraine.
However, these discussions are made more difficult by Orban's steadfast opposition to continued support for Ukraine, let alone talks for ascension to the European Union.
In his interview with La Pointe, Orban stood firm on these decisions, repeating his positions and defending his stance, calling the plan to begin ascension talks a "bad decision" and saying Ukraine wasn't ready to join the EU, despite the Commission's declaration otherwise.
According to Orban, the European Union needs to do a lot more "preparatory work" before the bloc will be ready to accept Ukraine.
One of Orban's most pressing concerns with regards to Ukraine has been his consistent opposition to allowing unfettered Ukrainian grain imports into the EU.
“If you allow this [Ukrainian] agriculture to enter the European agricultural system, it will destroy it the next day,” Orbán told Le Point. “Without transforming our farm subsidy system, we cannot let them in. The consequences will be terrible,”
Instead, Orban suggests a "strategic partnership treaty" to raise the level of EU-Ukraine cooperation without offering membership.
The Hungarian leader was recently invited to a dinner hosted by the French President Emmanuel Macron, where he tried, without luck, to convince Orban to change his stance on Ukraine.
But the Hungarian leader told La Pointe he “cannot give up [his] position” on Ukraine.
"My idea is to try to convince him to listen to my arguments,” Orbán said. “I am very interested in his opinion on the reasons that push France to act in this way.”

I'm not EU but I come from a country with a passport that at least lets you visit a lot of countries visa-free. I completely agree with the post I reblogged, but one thing I notice is the emphasis on the refugee aspect when talking about who should and who shouldn't be able to go from one place to another. People who are trying to get away from a difficult situation should be able to go wherever they can but also people shouldn't have to "suffer enough" to just. Move to another place.
I see it a lot when people from rich countries grudgingly say that should allow refugees and then complain about economic migrants. Many of whom would consider themselves refugees but would rather not go through the ordeal of proving that they are... Still, even if they weren't, why is it immoral to move to a place you prefer. Especially when people from the US and Europe do it all the time!

Can you tell me about a good memory you have?
From my childhood. There is as an amphitheater on the playground (idfk why) where I grew up on and me and my friends would put “plays” and “concerts” on it which meant bringing up a boombox and singing badly to it in front of our moms, nearby but still once distracted from their beer and poker game. One day there was a group of drunk teenagers who saw our “rehearsals” and they got really into it. They bought us snacks, the girls did some makeup on us, fixed our outfits, and then, and then they sat in the first rows (when usually rsvp-ed for our moms) and as we all sang they cheered on us so much! It’s been hours and they were excited to see our performance. Not in a mocking way even! They just really thought that we were silly but cool. They were so hyped for us for no reason and cheered for us as we sang and I’ll never forget that. So much shit happened on that playground but that’s a nice one.

Do you remember how France and Germany sold weapons to Russia, bypassing the sanctions? So, people began to ask: "What the fuck??" Daily Telegraph: Germany insist that they sent the ammunition after guarantees from the Kremlin that the weapons would be used for civilian, not military purposes.
I don’t even know how many clown emojis should be under this news. "For civilian purposes" - what is this for?? For whom?? To shoot people at rallies? Torture prisoners in prisons? And then to be surprised at the number of repressions in Russia?? And besides - how they fucking could sell weapons to the Kremlin on parole after 2014 and the downed Boeing?? Bitch, European bureaucrats are complicit in today's carnage. They're fucking completely out of their minds to make excuses like that.

Radical/evangelical Christians as well as the (radical) LGBT community have one thing in common. They treat their “beliefs” as a personality trait and force it on everyone else…. I’ve noticed how much These 2 have in common and the way they treat everyone that tries to bring up legitimate criticisms against them.
Let’s not forget to mention how gender is being treated more like theology than factually based science. They’re even arguing against science! While I’ll argue that god cannot be disproven by science, science literally proves (through biology) what gender/sex is. Also, they try very hard to change the meaning of words all the time. Gender used to be a synonym for sex, but not anymore I guess… they’re trying so hard to manipulate the meaning of womanhood too. They treat it as something that can be interpreted by every individual, as something different. Like womanhood is some pseudo magical thing that can morph and change… um excuse me??? Why don’t they ever talk about manhood this way hmmm?? If that’s your personal opinion fine, but you cannot force that on the public, just like religion cannot be forced onto anyone.
The other thing revolves around race… y’all may not want to hear this, but the evangelists have these super mega churches full of people of many different races. Now while they accept anyone of any skin color on the surface, they’d never accept them unless they have Christian and “American” values… they want to assimilate everyone and make them the same. “Color blindness” is a term that people use to describe this.
It’s ironic because the lgbt community low key does this too. To other countries especially! They’re so big on foreign policy and inserting their AMERICAN centered beliefs on the rest of us and will find any reason to find us racist and homophobic… they don’t respect the individuality of other countries and people in said countries, just like the churches don’t respect the individuality of their members. They (the LGBT/Leftists) don’t respect other countries for their uniqueness because they’re homogenous and because their culture might be more based on a heterosexual normative, but do you forget that heterosexual is the majority? Heterosexuality isn’t what’s attacking you. As a bisexual woman who’s also orthodox Christian, and 1/4th biracial, I still love my country, nor do I feel “attacked” by it… people choose to feel victimized. I am Bulgarian, and my people accept me as such. Yes, I’m also 1/4 th Asian, but the difference is that I know that Bulgaria is inherently Bulgarian, and for me to try to force my country to be more “diverse” would be blatantly racist on my part. To force my culture to just be more “gay” is also equally dumb, because the majority are not gay, nor trans, nor anything else. Why must I force my own identity onto them if I supposedly love them? No, I accept my country and it’s people, as it is. I wouldn’t want to change it for anything. That is what it means to truly love and accept others. By not changing them. (The only legitimate reason to criticize or to change and reform an aspect of a country, it’s culture and people is if there’s something fundamentally wrong with it such as, female genital mutilation, which is something that some countries have because it’s imbedded in their culture. Now it’s NOT something for outsiders to force them to change, it must be the country’s own people to stand up, address the issue and change it).
I shouldn’t forget that the evangelical radical Christians, like the lgbt also infiltrate foreign governments as well. It’s not just within the church. Look at the American government and how it’s purely influenced by these radical Christians AND the LGBT. Both the capitalist right and the democratic “socialist” left. They’re views overlap and the techniques they use to instill fear into others (especially foreign nations) is no different.
I love to see other people enriched in their own culture, and in LOVE and proud of their natural essence existing in reality, not fantasy. Not hurting others, nor self projecting and not forcing their life decisions on others. Europe is beautiful without all the foreign policy and invasive radicalization coming from the US. Africa would be flourishing if it weren’t for the US and Western Europe’s constant harm and meddling. Asia, is striding somewhere in the middle. Parts of it are flourishing, other parts are being taken advantage of by foreign policy and people constantly trying to insert their foreign politics into it. Even Eastern Europe is struggling with something very similar…
When it comes to religion, race, ethnicity, sexuality, all those things are sacred. They must be protected. And people have got to stop forcing their ideologies on others. Right now, it’s the US and some of its very powerful Allies through their religion, gender, sexuality and through racial/ ethnic identity (or lack of it) have become extremely radical on both sides ( left and right) and are constantly pushing it on everyone else. I will not be guilted nor shamed into thinking I’m wrong, which is what both sides try to do constantly by using the words “sin” and “bigotry”.
I should add that an individual choosing to identify as something other than their own birth sex does not affect me unless I let it. The problem is (like religion) when they start to force their ideology/personal opinions on me and the rest of the world. THAT is what I have a problem with. It’s no different then taking issue with evangelicals or any other religion preaching and forcing their religions on others. I take issue with people trying to erase womanhood. I have a problem with people telling little girls and boys that they’re a different gender because they like things that aren’t stereotypically liked by their own sex. That is beyond sexist… it’s no different than going to another (homogenous) country and telling them to change and take your religion OR ELSE… that’s beyond racist. Also, gender dysphoria is a serious mental illness. Not something you can force and change other people into. Same for sexual orientation… you can’t force people to change it. Race, ethnicity, religion, etc. you cannot force people to change.

I do not have the numbers and large data collection system that José Pontes has. I just copy and paste from the EU-EVs.com website. This website provides the sales totals by model for 10 countries — Norway, Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Denmark, Ireland, and Finland(..)
P.S. Note: These 10 countries are only a small part of Europe: The electric car market is growing quite fast in other parts of Europe as well, including Eastern Europe and the Baltic countries! The actual sales of electric cars in Europe are much higher than this table suggests...

“The sanctions of Brussels are ruining us!”(“sanctions” written on the missile)
I live in a small town but there are at least 15 of these everywhere.
First of all how insensitive do you have to be to use this poster when there are ACTUAL missiles hitting ACTUAL towns and people are dying.
Second of all, i don’t hear any other countries ehining about the sanctions, i dont hear UKRAINE whining about no electricity at all. Gas prices are the highest here in the EU, yes higher than ukraine and any of its other neighbours. So it’s safe to say it’s not the sanctions that are ruining the economy.
And this is not the first insensitive propaganda poster either.
