DOBERMAN COP, based on the hard-boiled manga, Doberman Deka, by Buronson and Shinji Hiramatsu.

I'm a big fan of director Kinji Fukasaku, particularly of his Yakuza films in the 70s. Plus, it has the legendary Sonny Chiba (another favourite of mine) playing a not-as-dumb-as-he-seems 'hick' cop from Okinawa who comes to Tokyo with his pet pig. So, basically a Japanese version of Coogan's Bluff or McCloud complete with Dirty Harry references and karate. What's not to love!
