Her mind is a beautiful thing
You never quite know what she thinks
But if you're lucky, she just might let you see
What hides behind nightmares and dreams
She's easy to love, oh, and easy to hate
She tastes like a drug and she feels just the same
Bitter to the tongue, but a thrill for your brain
A little bit crazy, but it's worth all the pain

One Dress a Day Challenge
Black and White October
Easy to Love / Esther Williams as Julie Hallerton
Alas, I haven't seen this movie, although I would like to! It doesn't seem to be available for streaming anywhere. So I am indebted to The Blonde at the Film for her writeup (from which I nabbed several of these pictures as well).
It looks like the coat is lined with black as well as having the intricate black embroidery on the front. This is echoed by similar embroidery on the straps of the dress. The black gloves add the final touch of chic!

You made me feel hard to love …
which is funny …
because it was so easy to love you

Stay fully in the present and soak up every detail with glee. When you find yourself is such difficult times that you feel lost, hopeless, or scared, you can recall every detail of when it was easy to see the wonders, love and good that never leave you, and gratitude will give you a hand out of that dark place.

Isn’t it easier to just let go, and stop trying? Isn’t it easier to just not dream? Isn’t it easier to just love without expectations? Isn’t life easier that way?

Here’s a song I wrote that was inspired from my re-reading of the #heartstopper graphic novel all over again. I know it doesn’t fit the heartstopper mixtape vibe, but this song aligns with the feelings I get when reading this beautiful story,
Thank you again @aliceoseman for creating and sharing heartstopper. You’ve left a positive impact in so many lives with this story, and us fans can’t thank you enough for it.
