You cannot steal wisdom from other cultures, white-wash them and make it your own. I'm talking about stuff like Smudging, Chakras, etc. There's a lot of misinformation going on around here about Chakras. The original concept has been completed wiped out and twisted.
If you still decide to post something about them: acknowledge the culture you borrowed it from OR name it something else (e.g.: Call your idea of Chakras as "energy center") cuz hunnnnyyyyy you cannot "open" or "balance" your Chakras with crystals. It took ancient sages and rishis 100s of years and you think you can open yours in a few hours??
(P.S.: It's totally okay to work on your Chakras, I'm talking about not knowing what they actually are, whitewashing it, and calling it your own without acknowledging the culture you borrowed it from)
Karen Graham (1945-) was a leading supermodel in the 1970′s, so much so that, in 1973, about the same time as Lauren Hutton, Graham became one of the first two models to sign exclusive cosmetic endorsement contracts, as the sole spokesperson of a company, Estee Lauder in Graham’s case.
Her favorite hobby, however, was fly fishing, and in 1985, wanting to quit modeling while still excelling at it, she became a fly fishing instructor, co-owning a school that teaches it, along with fellow expert Bert Darrow.
She did, however, come back to Estee Lauder in 1999 to advertise a face cream for mature women.
Lord Ganesh also symbolizes intelligence in the body. According to Hindu dharma, he represents Mahat, the highest form of Prakriti in the process of creation. In modern parlance, intelligence represents the higher mind and is crucial for reasoning and discernment. “Ganapati is the lord of universal intelligence (mahat-tattva),” says Bhagavata Tattva.
One of the most important and also one of the most common Ganpati Mantras. This Ganesha mantra is for wealth and is dedicated to Lord Ganesha, Goddess Riddhi (Hindu Goddess of Prosperity), and Goddess Siddhi (Hindu Goddess of spiritual enlightenment).

This piece of 300gsm cold press watercolor paper was used to test swatches of colors and a doodle for some of my other pieces. I ended up loving how it looked and figured someone else might too! Link in bio!
Just one thought perhaps…?
Today, its about these stylish food shows on TV. Especially the ones with chefs from the European, American and Australian shows! Just finished watching Season 12 of MasterChef Australia.
These cook offs and exclusive shows by Michelin starred chefs are a big draw for my kind of people, who love feeding their eyes on the gorgeous food, watching the preparation, the…
I hope no one takes offense and if you do I humbly apologize but....
DO NOT USE TIK TOK (WITCH TOK) AS A RELIABLE RESOURCE.
As an adult I am seeing other adults and excitable children take everything someone says on this platform as law. This has probably been said already but I think it needs to be said over and over again until it’s drilled in everyone’s minds.
If you are having a conversation with someone and you ask them where they got their info from and they say tik tok...RUN. Okay maybe not run but give them the side eye and educate them on where they can find reliable resources.
*facepalm* Too many kiddos and sadly some adults are running around here with misinformation, doing things that are too advanced for them, and... and... treating the gods as if they are Pokémon like they have to “catch them all”. (Please don’t I beg of you.. for your sake.)
Research is your best friend. Take notes. Make it enjoyable for yourself to study different things and emerge yourself in the learning experience.
I am guilty of throwing myself in the line of fire as I am more of a hands on learner but.. making things fun has helped with just sitting down and researching. Your practice doesn’t have to be boring.
