Took the weekend off and spent some much needed time breathing in fresh mountain air, standing on mountain tops at sunrise, and getting in touch with nature. It’s been such a crazy time without any of our usual summer activities and travel not really being an option has been rough. But it is so important now more than ever to find time and outlets to take care of our mental health. This weekend in the woods was that time, and exactly what my mind and body needed. I’ll admit I also don’t find it easy to step away from my work and turn that switch off even for a couple days, but I’m glad that I did. I gained so much inspiration from Mother Nature and have come home feeling refreshed with so many new ideas and goals.
