Kotlc Actor/Actress au... Bloopers..... Headcanons

- You know that iconic scene where Sophie and Fitz were both meeting for the first time? Well somebody (Fitz’s actor) just had to sneeze as the camera was zooming in on Sophie’s actress’s face.  The shot was perfect too- she had that look of awwe and terror and confusion all at once and then she broke into giggles.

- When Sophie first met Keefe, Keefe’s actor wiggled his eyebrows after one of the lines and neither of them could manage a straight face - but they tried so hard.

- Kesler’s actor had to pat Dex’s actor on the back kinda hard for a scene, but he accidentally patted his own child too hard and Dex’s actor started coughing.  They tried to play it off but SM wasn’t sure.

- When Grady’s actor was trying to ride the (fake) dinosaur for his introduction to the story, he actually fell off and Edaline’s actress laughed at him.

- Alden’s actor messes up his lines a lot, but he always keeps that professional Alden tone and asks what the real line is before quietly whispering “suck n’ elf”

- During one of the scenes with Jolie (it was for a flashback) she had to be really serious and keep silent for just a few seconds but couldn’t and lost it.  She laughed until the gave her a warning.

- Lady Gisela’s actress was in a fighting scene and it was really, really good - you could feel tension from the fight - and then she tripped on her cloak and knocked down Biana’s actress. (they were both okay)

- Not quite a blooper, but the first time Stina revealed herself in the series SM was getting really picky and made her dramatically take off the hood so many times that Stina’s actress pretty much became Stina by the end of it.  It was SM’s plan all along...

- Again, not a blooper, but Dex’s actor wasn’t actually supposed to say “Cognate RAWR” in Nightfall and was instead supposed to say some weird actual technical term for it, but he forgot what it was so that’s what he said and Sophie’s actress just went along.  Shannon liked the scene so much she kept it.

- Biana’s actress trips in her heels a lot.  Like, any running scene that Biana is wearing heels in, everyone is cautious of because if she trips she’ll also flail.

- Fitz’s actor has a slight problem keeping the Vacker accent since it’s somewhat made up, so there are a lot of bloops of his accent just completely changing and him stopping and saying, “Wait, no, that’s not right” and then he’ll try again and again until Dex’s actor has to remind him what an Irish + British accent sounds like (since he can actually do it) and it’s just a mess-

- Once Keefe’s actor (he’s Swedish) forgot to use an American accent (or whatever accent you’re used to hearing) and didn’t realize what had happened until it was pointed out.

- Originally, Sophie Foster was supposed to be graceful believe it or not, but... yeah, if the actress can’t do it neither can Sophie.  Especially in heels, man are you trying to kill this girl?

- There’s a scene that got cut out, but it’s of Sophie hanging from Sandor’s arm.  In the blooper of that cut out scene however, it’s Sophie’s actress trying really hard to get a grip on Sandor’s actor’s arms while Sandor’s actor conjures up all of his strength to hold this child by his bicep.

*tries to think of infamous ship scenes*

- That one Sokeefe scene where Keefe is getting really close and intimate with Sophie was kind of awkward to film so on purpose they kept messing up their lines until they felt comfortable enough.

- The Dexphie kiss was hilarious to film.  Sophie’s actress and Dex’s actor were fairly close at that point, so they weren’t weirded out by the scene, but SM was kind enough to try and see if they could angle the camera in a way that would basically just make it so Sophie’s actress is practically sniffing Dex’s actor’s cheek.  It was hilarious partly because of that, but also because Dex’s actor’s hands really did get tangled in her hair and it actually took some effort to untangle them.

- When Keefe interrupts that first Fitzphie moment, he yelled really loudly and neither actress/actor was expecting it, so they both jumped like eight feet into the air.  Fitz’s actor yelped too and Keefe’s actor thought it was the funniest thing ever.

- The only bloopers that exist for Solinh scenes are just the girls blushing and honestly, they should have kept it in.  SM wanted to though.

- In that Sophiana scene where Sophie and Biana run into the woods for whatever they were doing, Biana’s actress accidentally forgot most of her lines.

- For that Keefex moment in Nightfall, Keefe’s actor wrapped his arms around Dex’s actor’s waist (as per instructed) but he couldn’t resist swinging him around like a rag doll.

- Fitz’s actor forgot he had lines while doing a scene with Linh’s actress and after a moment of them awkwardly staring at each other Sophie’s actress broke in saying, “I’m sorry, are we having a telepathic conversation without me?”

- So many of those scenes where the actors just have to stare into each other’s eyes for telepathic stuff is ruined by sudden giggle attacks.

- If Mr. Forkle’s actor messes up a scene he blames it on everyone else by saying, “You kids....” in this fake angry tone like the old man that he is.

- Bronte’s actor kind of does the same thing.

- Overall, nobody can keep a straight face or remember their lines.

- If something is messed up and Tam’s actor knows it won’t make the cut, he’ll start doing or saying all these weird (yet hilarious) things.  (”I..... I see dead people... it’s Kenric.”)

- He and Keefe’s actor can also be found accidentally messing up certain shots by just staring at each other - but not in a hateful way.  It’s more of an “You’re really pretty also I’m in love with you” kind of way.

- Marella’s actress honestly has practically no bloopers except for this one that is iconic.  She was in the background of a scene and heard somebody start forgetting their lines so she started dancing and miming because she could.

- She does also have a bit of trouble with the SGI fire effects sometimes because when she’s trying to throw fire or something it just kind of accidentally looks like she’s swimming while standing on land.
