eddie definitely does sunscreen checks on his friends. every day when they hang out in the summer he makes sure that they’ve put on sunscreen, and if he suspects that they haven’t he sprays them down with sunscreen and then lectures them on the importance of wearing sunscreen. they all complain, but eddie is constantly tells them “you’ll all be thanking me in 30 years when you don’t have skin cancer!!”

I feel like after richie made the carving on the bridge he would always be trying to hurry the losers along when they inevitably walked over the bridge 💀💀💀 like he did it but didn’t think of the consequence that he now has to make sure none of his friends see it, for about two months richie lived in constant fear that one of the losers would see it and THEY WOULD KNOW.

i have a headcanon that when richie gets particularly lovesick, he'll make little doodles and then throw the pages in their fireplace, or put it in the shredder afterward. one time eddie barged in without knocking while richie was doing this, and richie ended up throwing his entire notebook out the window. stan makes fun of him when richie has to explain why he doesnt have notes for chemistry anymore.

headcanon is that eddie would ALWAYS be wearing socks. you would NEVER catch that man being bare foot. it makes him feel obnoxious without them on. therefore richie would ALWAYS make sure to buy a huge pack of socks for his eddie every christmas ever since they’ve met. thereupon eddie’s love for richie continues to grow even stronger as the years go by.

The Losers Club Plays Monopoly (Mike Hanlon is blamed for ensuing disaster)

The Losers only played Monopoly one time. One time was all it took for it to get banned.

Poor poor Mike suggested they play it and has since had all the blame put on him for the disaster. Mike just thought it would be fun.

It started off well enough with everyone getting used to the rules

The first sign of trouble was when Richie kept buying everything he landed on despite the fact that it never made sense

Eddie had an actual plan that has to get thrown out because Richie just took two of the red tiles that shit head

Stan is 100% winning because he actually knows how to play monopoly around Richie’s stupid choices

meanwhile in the corner, Bill is still trying to get out of jail and he has been in there since round 3

Mike is the person who is making a mini city with his house pieces while he waits for his turn which takes a while because Eddie argues with Richie every turn

Bev is secretly stealing 100s from the bank whenever people aren’t looking

Ben is suppose to be in charge of the bank since he isn’t playing but he is too distracted trying to keep the board from getting flipped

Richie has now acquired every rail road square because Bev has been slipping him 5s from the bank

And some how Eddie is actually technically beating Richie but for some reason is still mad about the rail roads

Mike and Stan have started a silent staring contest as they both have realized they are tied for first

Bill has been freed from jail

Bill was immediately sent back to jail. he is resorting to trying to bribe people into letting him go

Eddie finally lands on one of Richie's tiles and is forced to pay him 20 dollars and this resorts in a fist fight

Stan is the one to flip the board though because Mike buys the property he wanted

Ben throws away the game and swears to destroy every copy of it

Ngl- Some of the steddie headcannon I’ve seen are actually really good!! There are a lot of things the Stranger things community seem to agree on about this pair and I thought I’d share some of my head cannons :)

1- Steve gets insecure about his scars so Eddie makes the joke that it’s like having matching tattoos

2- Eddie gives Steve his rings whenever Steve has an episode cause the cool metal grounds him just enough so he can focus

3- Steve like to sit and watch the Hellfire D&as sessions cause he loves seeing Eddie bring the story to life and to see his kids having the time of their lives

4- Eddie finds Steve’s baseball bat full of nails and asks Dustin about it. Once he knows the full history of the weapon Eddie takes it upon himself to make it some kind of trophy to put on a wall.

5- Eddie and Steve adopt a can and name it Ozzy

6- Vampire!Eddie will doodle himself into the photos with Steve since the camera can’t pick him up naturally

Eddie Kaspbrak Agere Headcannons!!

He 🤌 is 🤌 a 🤌 BRAT

My guy needs all of the attention ALL THE TIME

He "forgets" that he has to play nice with others

Especially when it comes to sharing

But he can also be very caring when he wants to be

He's always there to help if a friend has a booboo, emotional or physical

He has lots of bandaids, all different themes based off of things his friends enjoy

He has specific ones for each Loser

Ben has Scooby-Doo themed

Beverly has butterflies

Richie has Sesame Street

Stan has birds (of course)

Mike has farm animals

And Bill chooses whichever one he wants

He's not as afraid of sickness and getting dirty as when he's big, but he still dislikes mud and muck

Which is a shame because Richie is one of the messiest littles ever and when they play of course Eddie gets dragged into it

Stan usually has to stop Eddie from jumping on Richie after one of Richie's messier pranks

Eddie loves playing with all the Losers, but his favorite playmates are Richie, Bev, and Ben

Playdates would be more often, but Eddie usually needs a few days to recharge before more playing

Stan and Mike usually end up watching the little ones

Eddie and Richie are also both flips

But Eddie usually leans more towards little than caregiver

He loves to watch the Muppets and cuddle with Richie

He's an absolute cuddle bug when regressed

He also babbles a lot to get attention

Depending on how little he feels, he'll cry to relieve stress

Long day at work? Has a good long cry

Playing too rough and got hurt? Nothing a good cry can't fix

Not enough attention? Hey, maybe crying will make Richie pick him up!

He felt really shy and uncomfortable having other people around while regressing for a long time

Then the others came forward with their regression and he felt more comfortable

Group cuddle sessions are a must

Great stress reliever

Bath time is best time for Eddie

Bath toys galore

Fun smelling shampoos

Richie likes to surprise him with new epsom salts and bath bombs a lot

He also will not go to bed unless he is read a story

Richie always does the best voices

Even if Eddie is put to bed in his own special bed (which he rarely ever is), he always ends up in the master bed cuddling with Richie and the other never complaines

It's a perfect way to end their day :33

Ok so I keep getting adult Reddie feels every time I listen to Birdhouse in Your Soul by They Might Be Giants.

Like I keep thinking that Richie rediscovers this song later on when him and Eddie have gotten together after Chapter Two and it annoys Eddie because “The song doesn’t make any sense, Richie” and is met with the reply “but that’s what makes it even better, Spagheds!”

Eventually after a month or so, Richie gets back home and hears that familiar jam of a song and finds Eddie singing along to it under his breath while cleaning or cooking or something and when he finally meets Richies eyes “ok, I’m starting to see the appeal” with Richie staring back at him with a wide grin before wrapping his arms around Eds waist from behind and singing “Not to put too fine a point on it, Say I'm the only bee in your bonnet…” to which Eddie tells him to fuck off but turns around to face him singing back “Make a little birdhouse in your soul”

i like to imagine that after derry 2.0 once eddie divorces myra and he starts to finally accept his feelings for richie again, sometimes he feels embarrassed that he has a “crush”. he will think to himself, jesus christ, eddie, what the hell are you doing getting all flustered over a fucking text message from richie? stumbling over your words when you talk to him? you’re forty years old, not fourteen anymore! snap out of it!

but then as his feelings for richie continue to grow he slowly allows himself to actually... enjoy the experience of having a “crush”. when he was a kid and first started crushing on richie, he was so terrified of his own feelings, of being outed, he was so overwhelmed by his own internalized homophobia for his entire childhood that he never got the chance to enjoy having a crush on richie as a kid, because his feelings for richie were always quickly followed by shame.

but now, as an adult, after having come out to the losers, he’s starting to feel comfortable in his own skin. and sure, maybe it is a little embarrassing to have a crush as a fully grown man, but eddie is just letting himself live the way his younger self could only dream of. so he lets himself get flustered when richie leans in close to him to make a joke and he doesn’t shame himself for the rush of excitement he gets from a ‘good morning’ text from richie. he lets himself have a crush, and he loves every minute of it. (and he loves it even more when he finally works up the courage to act on that crush and ask richie out and richie says yes.)
