THE RETURN

My current contract is soon gonna end and I'm gonna be jobless soon again, furthermore I have many new projects (not professional but personal, sentimental ones) that need a reaching goal, I don't know how much, and I need to motivate myself into drawing again so it is time to open commissions again isn't it ? New commission sheet, updated to be more visible with other examples and a few more options than before ! NO SLOTS this time, for now I'm keeping these open indefinitely unless something serious or busy happens ! And remember, pay me on Ko-Fi, and if you paid me the most out of anyone during the trimester, I'll reward you with a free drawing of your choice in the end of it !

Things to know :

-Keep in mind that I might add filters or, for traditional, digitally edit mistakes

-When I talk about stylization I mean it can like go from silhouettes to semirealism/realism (but if so I will only sketch, more comfortable with it) by way of chibi, stylized figures etc And for techniques, well it can depend but keep in mind I'm NOT a super big expert so I may be limited hence why it's better to discuss first

-I don’t do just characters but also objects and scenery. Tho I don’t truly know what to price it yet so if you are interested we should talk first too

-I do NSFW too yes but NO weird fetishes please, also I will NOT do dubcon or noncon, as well as no zoophilia, necrophilia or pedophilia (which is also for SFW shipping pics)

-I will privilege OCs and original work in general over fanart if getting short in time

-Knowing that I am also looking for a job as well as trying to work on my personal and/or professional stuff I might take time so please be patient

I once knew a guy who had me redo a pic 15 times without a please or a thank you because he gave bad instructions when I was doing point commissions and I lost a day of my life so PLEASE don’t do that

-For the same reason, I am allowed to refuse a commission even if the reasons do not fit my rules if I am overwhelmed or don’t have the time or I find you rude or it makes me uncomfortable for reasons I can’t a put a name on or think of right now

-In general, know that drawing takes time and effort and that it is a job like any other so please let us treat each other with respect and politeness

Commissions Price List

Status: Open --- (check with me first in case I forget to update the post)

Occasionally I get asked about commissions but was lacking a price list. I've put this on DA here but have made a tumblr version too. I recommend checking my DA for more art examples. I would prefer to keep things simple with my offerings at the moment but if you are curious about more detailed scenes I may be able to work out a quote.

Busts: $22 per character

A lined portrait with parts of the upper body visible, depending on the design. May consider discounts for more than 1.

More stuff below the cut!

3/4 Body Picture: $40

A picture showing the body going down to the thighs or hips. The character will be in neutral/slightly warm light unless one of the extra options is chosen. You can give me a pose, or I can come up with something myself.

This option has some extras:

-Basic background: free (A single colour, or abstract shapes to frame it)

-Fancy lighting: +$5 (e.g. back-lit, sunset, spells in the dark, or strong coloured light source)

-Basic or screenshot background: +$5 (A simple loosely painted outdoor backdrop or edited image, with the character shaded to fit appropriately)

Other Ideas?

If there's anything you have in mind that isn't listed, don't be afraid to ask! Other things I could do are:

-Scenes with multiple characters

-More elaborate single poses

-Pin-ups

-Couple pics

-Reference sheets

I'll do my best to provide quotes for things like this, providing I think it is feasible for me to do. For example I'm not good at interiors or poses with elaborate perspective. The rule of thumb is each character will cost $30-50 depending on how much is drawn. Estimates for reference sheets are about $100 for 2-3 fullbody variants.

-Very complex armour or clothing

Terms:

-Prices are in USD and are to be dealt with via PayPal, or donation via Kofi.

-Payment is up front but I will send sketches and versions for feedback. Keep in good contact to avoid delays.

-References must be provided! I won't design a character from scratch. Existing art is the best option, though screenshots may be ok too.

-I reserve the right to refuse work I'm not comfortable with or don't think I can do a good job of.

-I will provide a sketch version for review, then the final version when completed. You can offer feedback and changes at these stages.

-Art isn't my main job so due to my work demands or family visits I may not be available all the time so it's best to ask me first. But if I have a clear run, I will usually get the work done in 1-2 weeks depending on how fast you respond.

You’ve been on his nerves the whole day.

I will answer your inqury on what I was going for for their clothes! At least as to what I was trying to inspire their outfits off of.

So first up the Orange's outfit 'moodboard':

There's one more outfit I want in consideration for this but I'll explain in it a second. So! I really think Orange might like to wear the sort of jacket thing Yuki's got on there, and while I opted out of the choker for him I do think he'd wear multiple necklaces. As for Citron's outfit there, I like the belt.

Also, those large gold bracelets seem to be mandatory and possibly a while jumpsuit of sorts. The owl earrings I legit just found right now(or well last night because I did fall asleep writing lol) to give an idea of what his earring might look like when I finalize it and pick out an Owl for it. I'm not sure if he always had an Owl earring or not but if he didn't that's fine because then it could be his little piece of abroad that he keeps with him, but if he did that's also fine because it's a sliver of his interests and personality shining through.

There was one more outfit I wanted here but oh well you don't need an image. It was the one with flowers on it. So here we go. I like the collar on Sakyo's outfit. Then I think Navel would have a visible choker like Citron does(tho tbh in my head it looks more like Yuki's but to avoid confusion I didn't put Yuki in this set.) There's the flowy part of the outfit & I'm leaning towards how Sakuya's is but Idk for sure, I kinda also really like the whole shoulder section of Sakyo's outfit so Idunno. He probably definitely has the stars though like Sakuya does. (As you can see I'm less sure on this outfit lol.)

I know that these ponytail cuff things exist. While looking up pictures for these, I learned that a lot of them have elastics in them? I didn't know they did? But regardless, I think that Navel should have one. Maybe without the elastic like the rhinestone one, but be bigger and more solid like the second one. Let’s take a look at the options.įirst you have to download and install Pixel Bender. It is really fast and extremely easy to use. This filters lets you apply an artistic oil painting effect to your images. A new addition to these filters is the Oil Paint effect. The default Pixel Bender installation comes with a gallery of filters. You can create your own filters and run them from inside Photoshop via the Pixel Bender plugin. Basically it is both a programming language and a plugin. Pixel Bender is an awesome tool from Adobe Labs that lets you create your own Photoshop filters. Nevertheless this Oil Paint filter is now included in the plugins directory in the standard installation, so if you use Photoshop CS6, just skip all the installation instructions and just go to FILTERS > OIL PAINTING… and start following the tutorial. UPDATE: Since version CS6, the Pixel Bender plugin no longer works in Photoshop. Now check out our massive list of 101 Photoshop tutorials ! Whether you're looking for digital darkroom tips, or want to get creative, you should definitely check it out! This tutorial first appeared in Practical Photoshop magazine, the number one magazine for lovers of photography and image-editing. We set Master channel Saturation to 20, Cyans Saturation to 14 and Lightness to 10, and Yellows to Saturation -10. OT5 and prison stans keep insisting TOP is being ‘sarcastic’ and ‘trolling’. Why would he be sarcastic about loving his group and fans??? What is wrong with them. Imagine thinking it’s a lie. I can’t process enough what these fans come up with each day. TOP says bigbang is four then the answer is four!

Yeah they're twisting themselves into pretzels as usual, anything to stay firmly entrenched in denial, nothing new there. But actually my favorite explanation so far is "He WaS hAcKeD!"

Hacked? It's been 3 days and the post is still up. 1.1 million likes, 58 thousand comments and counting. He has updated his profile pic. He has archived and unarchived (made visible again) several posts. For example, he archived the Christmas tree edit from 12/25/21, which was right beside the OT4 pic, and unarchived his post-discharge fanmeet photoset from 7/7/2019 and the BIGBANG 15th anniversary balloons from 8/19/21 -- which, come to think of it, further cements this being a sincere expression of gratitude toward the fans and a celebration of the group, thoroughly destroying the "sarcasm" argument. TOP has been active and tending to his Instagram account since the OT4 edit was posted. He is well aware of its presence because he put it there himself.

What's more, the post has received support from BIGBANG's managers, YG staff, and even GD himself in the form of a like from his peaceminusone account -- or so I've heard, though I've been unable to verify this myself.

There are people who desperately need to process this for what it is, or peacefully see themselves out the door if a five member reunion is what they're waiting for.

My name is Simone and I would like to tell you a tale!

I will not have access to my laptop for some days more and because writing on my phone is kind of painful (physically, because I am working on hand mobility now), this may end up in drafts and taking a while to post. I am going to share what has been happening the last 2 months because I feel like everything went from 0 to 100 in the span of a few weeks and its been really, really wild.

So!!! LETTUCE begin!

For roughly 5 years I've been struggling to get a diagnosis on an extremely painful area of my arm. There was literally nothing visible; no lump, discoloration or any other physical abnormality to indicate anything was wrong. I spent thousands on pretty much every kind of imaging you can do, and was told time and time again that there was nothing wrong and, perhaps, it was psychosomatic and I needed therapy or, more often than not, I was given a shrug and a vague "i dunno" response.

This year, something changed. I deal with chronic pain (my spine is congenitally fused in my neck and lower spine and I have baby bone spurs all over), and in the process of trying to work on that I brought up my arm again to a dr I no longer see. He'd told me my arm was SEVERAL things over the years I had been seeing him but this time said it was a fibromyalgia knot, something I had been told by a team of doctors some time before that. I said okay cool and was sent to a physical therapy rehab center where the dr worked with myofascial release and stretches to help with injuries. This amazing man fixed my plantar fasciitis and helped get my chronic headaches under control but NOTHING we did helped my arm pain. Within a month he was worried bc we had started to notice that there was a hardness to the spot that never changed with any exercise or massage.

Worried that there was a nerve being trapped or crushed (another diagnosis I'd gotten over the years), this amazing man sent me to a neurosurgeon who immediately frowned and said he didn't think my neck pain and my arm pain were connected. He ordered an MRI of my arm and despite it not being visible on an MRI 2 years before, he found something PHYSICALLY THERE where I said I had pain. He considered doing the surgery to remove it (despite being a neurosurgeon he was fascinated with this weird horribly painful spot) but eventually sent me a surgeon for an oncology center, assuring me it was because this new surgeon was one of the best in Texas for removing soft tissue tumors, not because there was any thought of cancer.

I met with the surgeon who gave me one more diagnosis of an AVM (arteriovenous malformation), snd said they were benign and not necessary to remove as well as the possibility that if removed it would likely return. Truly, at this point after 5 years of constant nauseating horric pain when someone brushed against me or if I gently brushed against ANYRHING, a pain so bad that it had basically made me stop using my right arm as much as possible (of course I'm right handed lol), I said GET THAT FUCKER OUT OF THERE MAN and my first surgery was scheduled.

Surgery one occurred Nov 5th and was an out patient event. I went home and passed out. At some point my mom said that while I'd been in recovery the dr said the thing in my arm hadn't looked like what he expected so he had sent it to pathology. I went back to work and was hanging out until the Tuesday before Thanksgiving when I went in for a super immediate meeting with a different doctor who told me that what had been in my arm was a synovial sarcoma, aka, cancer! He, this incredibly kind man I did not know, gently discussed chemo and told me I needed to have a CT scan immediately. Based on the CT, i was either in stage one or stage four if it has spread to lungs. The day before Thanksgiving I received the news that it was stage one, it had not spread, and i was so fucking happy.

Then it was time talk about next steps. My surgeon marked out a circle on my arm to indicate how much he was gonna remove in order to guarantee clear margins..but it was not enough of a meeting for me to grasp the surgery I was about to receive.

The day of my second surgery, dec 8th, came quickly and i met with the plastic surgeon, the kindest, most patient man. He moved my arm around and explained how he was going to hijack a vein from my forearm in order to keep the blood flow health to the flap he was gonna take from the donor site: My inner thigh.

It has been 11 days and I am living in an inpatient rehab facility, working on dealing with the nerve damage/pain, the EXTREME pain of my donor site, and the lost mobility that I am working on getting back, both in my leg and my hand. The majorities of my arm is numb...except where the nerve pain burns my wrist and forearm and makes it painful to wear my arm sling (I can't fully extend my arm, nor can I lift, push, pull or use my arm in any way that would stress out my new arm flap). Also may have a brand new urinary tract infection but as I write this I'm chugging water for a urine sample to hopefully get that treated. Below are some pictures I have taken/had taken of my arm! Im not ready to look at my leg outside of the bandages (which, since having the wound vac removed today, hell yeah, will need daily dressing changes).

EDIT: I tried posting pictures of my arm last night and my post disappeared immediately so I will try to make a new post with these photos in case the whole post was erased because of them. I will tag them as post surgery photos. I do not consider them gory or excessive but hey that's just me.

I intend to post more things as I keep healing and as I gain more mobility. I was given "independence" in my room yesterday which means I can officially get up without any assistance needed (using my badass new cane to help me lift my foot in and out of bed)!!!! Which also means I can get up whenever I want without the bed alarm going off. I have a badass cane that has been the best tool in helping me get around (and has inspired my mom and others to suggest and look into getting me a cane sword which makes me laugh REAL hard). See below me using the cane to move my foot in and out of bed!

Part of why I'm posting this is because I really needed to talk about it and while later posts may not be this long or expository but I wanted to have a base post to explain other ones related to this one!!!

I will update with some newer pics tomorrow night when my mom comes by to help me take newer pics. The arm flap looks super healthy (according to the drs), and when they changed my leg dressing they said its looking really good and healthy!

I......also really wanted to post my Amazon wishlist. Due to this stupid wild bad lottery ticket, I've been struggling to pay my bills and rent but!!! I have good insurance, thankfully (since I live in the US and my hospital stay and this rehab stay would have more than bankrupted me), and im hoping my disability checks will get here in time for rent!!! I'm putting up my wishlist bc I can't afford some of the "essentials" on there and, also, because I havent been able to have any kind of comfort during any of this. I never ask for anything for holidays because usually i...dont want to burden people with spending money on me since I know how hard money is, especially right now. And if I don't have enough for rent later I might have to create a go fund me...but right now everything looks good for rent and bills just...not for anything fun.

Character Stuff pt. 3: Rando Drawins and Minor World Build

So I may start making these posts much longer- Seeing as sometimes I get a burst of inspiration and have nowhere else to put the drawings I make. (I’m also obsessed lowkey with makin a buttload of pony ocs from just minor details such as cutiemarks)

So I decided to give Crystabelle a sister- (Maybe a brother sometime in the future but probably not)

Sugar Swirl or as Cryssie calls her “Cotton Candy” She is the older sister of the family. In some photos she isn’t present because she went off to a bunch of camps to take care of her curse. More on that later.

When Cryssie finally does meet her sister, she loves her regardless. Sugar was there for her birth and was the one to give her the nickname “Cryssie” and she’s the only one who really is allowed to call her that. Her friends call her “Crysta” or “Belle” depends on the relationship and the other’s personality really.

They are the ones who made this little curse to begin with and gave me special permission to use it on Sugar. I added my own tweeks to it and made it a curse instead of a species so this version of it belongs to me. Still thanks for the idea and offer or whatever yah call it XD

Anyways, Basically the curse is labeled as “pony eater” as to not get confused with pure cannibalism, as that is usually by choice/consent.

The host has no control over it. When it kicks off, everyone must avoid them at all costs. It causes a nose bleed at first and excessive saliva build up. First hit in their life won’t hit them until they reach a certain age to be able to understand right from wrong. Then a trigger will be found and unknowingly set off. A clear difference is seen in their eyes, black whites with fading pupils of white that turn to grey with a dark jet black iris.

There isn’t exactly a known cure for the “pony eater” curse. Only precautions and boot camps to keep them in check and make sure they understand their own triggers before they can head home.

Despite this, Cryssie doesn’t hate her sister, infact in a moment she has a trigger and can’t find an escape, she ties herself up in the basement and Cryssie brings her dinner she cooked, since they were home alone.

She sat with her (at a safe distance, she’s dense and naïve but she ain’t stupid) and waited it out til morning.

Sugar Swirl was cursed at birth and her parents tried to find a cure or something to stop it before she hit that age but they are still searching.

The trigger to cause the curse is loud and fluctuating noises. I don’t mean a random unprepared honk from a horn. It has to be something like the lavender town them in slight ear-r4pe format. It needs to be repetitive and switching of the ears at a fast or even an unequal pace can definatly cause it. It also has to be loud, something that would give a headache. So she can live out a normal life as long as she doesn’t go to watch certain things. It’s like an epilepsy thing. Just gotta be careful, yah know?

Along with some other stuff, I got a little inspired by speedpaints and decided to do anatomy along with making new characters.

Elipsa- She is a silent girl who is larger than the average male, shes very tall and doesn’t need words to settle fear into someones heart. You know if she likes you or not. She is an inventor, she made it possible for ponies to use things like phones by forming a glove for the hoof that can move fingers with stylus’ on the fingertips. She gets along well with Cryssie.

Facade- The smallest of the triplets in her family, Feign and Fantasy, she shares similar cutiemarks (proven possible with the cutiemark crusader episode, forget the name) call it superstition or twin connection, dumb luck, whatever. They have similar names (all beginning with F) and similar talents. Facade tends to like putting on a show and charm the audience. Hence her winky faced OwO cutiemark. She is a vampire fanatic and a goth/punk. The only one who has the most jewelry.

Facade is the only one who can make Elipsa smile and sometimes (mostly when its just them and sometimes Cryssie) laugh.

Yes these two are dating and I’m still deciding if I want Facade to be a girl or boy (if boy then most likely trans) or non-binary. Will update on that later.

Facade is NOT a filly, she is an adult mare she is just very short. She is often mistaken as such.

I have a pic of Feign and Fantasy in my sketchbook but I need to digitialize them-

These two are Cryssies best friends since Elementary since she was very shy.

Decided to try base editing.

I like it cause it’s easier to do the designs its just a pain in the flank to do certain markings with the wait mlp has the outlines designed. I also had to give Cryssie an eyeliner kinda look because her eye wasn’t showing visible to her face. I am very proud of this tho and probably will do more.

The only thing that really bothers me is that i couldnt get her damn mane right at the top around her horn, its more...fancy??? than it should be.

Also if you notice, i switched her bandage on her front legs because it felt odd to have bandages on the same side of front and back legs, why not altercate? :3

I am gonna try and make more LN related stuff to throw in here and there. I just like buildin the main character a bit yah know?

FALLOUT 4 MODS MASTERLIST FOR XBOX ONE

I primarily see posts about modding PC versions of the various Fallout games, but with Bethesda allowing for mod support on console, I thought I would share the mods I personally use to enhance my game!

This list will be particularly useful for players that aren't necessarily looking to add content to the game, but want the game to feel more updated and more modern.

NOTE: While playing I did discover a glitch with the female facial presets to where if you move backwards through the preset list, the skin tone of the face ends up unchangeable and does not match the body. I'm not sure what causes it, so proceed with caution! I will update this if I figure it out. My best guess is a load order issue ^^;

I'll try to summarize what each mod does, but the mod titles listed are the exact ones so searching it should be easy.

For reference, here are some unedited screenshots from my current game (early in the playthrough, but check the #my pics and #fallout 4 tags on my blog in the future for more pics!):

The Unofficial Fallout 4 Patch

The most essential mod on this list. This mod works to fix most—if not all—bugs within Fallout 4.

Green in the Commonwealth

Adds a variety of flora to the Commonwealth to show just how far nature can progress in 200+ years without human interference.

True Storms: Wasteland Edition

Adds a variety of weather events to the Commonwealth, including radiated storms, severe thunderstorms, and more.

Cheat Terminal

Another essential mod. It gives the player a holotape that allows for console players to have access to similar—if not the same—cheat commands that PC players have access to.

Enhanced Blood Textures

Makes the blood extra... bloody. Really just makes the blood and spatter more realistic.

Spitfire (Enhanced Muzzle FX)

Adds subtle yet immersive effects to firing weapons, such as brighter flashes and distortions in the air where gas from the weapon is expelled.

Realistic Ragdoll Force

You know how things in Fallout games tend to just like... fly? This mod helps that not happen as much, and gives a little more realism to the weights of objects.

Realistic Sound XB1

Adds more realism to the game’s sounds, such as allowing gunshots to echo through the air and sound more powerful dependent on the weapon’s caliber. Also effects ambient sounds and dialogue, and has some customizable settings within the game’s sound settings (e.g., reverb).

Vivid Fallout - All in One

A very detailed overhaul of all landscape textures, but also trees, rocks, roads, bridges, etc. It’s, surprisingly, not an incredibly heavy mod as the graphics do render out with distance to a degree so that the game doesn’t lag or crash.

Interior Visual Overhaul

Accomplishes similar overhauls as Vivid Fallout, but focuses on interior settings. One of the most notable things this mod does is overhaul interior lighting, adding more dynamic and realistic lighting to the game.

[Dn-0] Darker Nights

This is the darkest version of this mod, but basically what this series does is make nights... darker! Dn-0 is the most realistic in my opinion, since it's nearly pitch black and really allows for in-game lighting (e.g., streetlamps) to stand out.

Improved Map with Visual Roads

Overhauls the Pip-Boy map and adds more contrast, making roadways and paths more visible to the player eye.

NPCs Travel

Populates the Commonwealth with traveling NPCs, including hunters, Minutemen patrols, Brotherhood of Steel Patrols, and more, to add life into the Commonwealth without overwhelming the game. Many NPCs this mod provides are traders.

HUD Framework

Allows for external mods to more easily edit the HUD settings and files within the game. Very useful for things such as the iHUD mod listed later on the list.

Boston Less Enemies

Spawns less NPCs in the Boston area to help prevent the notorious Boston game crashes, and let players explore without dying at every turn.

Settler and Companion Dialog Overhaul

Overhauls companion dialogue to limit repetitive lines and increase the situational awareness of companions, as well as increasing progressional awareness to settlers and combatants. This mod adds well over 2,000 voice lines to companions, settlers, and enemies alike.

Presets That May Be Handsome

Revamps some of the game's male presets (I believe presets 12-15) to be more attractive and unique.

Vault Outfits Redux

Edits the textures of the game's vault suits, lab coats, and vault security armor. One of the more notable details is the reflective gold of the vault suit's yellow printing.

Automatically Lower Weapons

Makes it so the player's gun lowers after approximately 3-5 seconds of inactivity (e.g., aiming). Very subtle but it opens the field of view and adds a touch of realism to the game.

Looks Mirror

Adds a mirror to the workshop interface so that players may change their appearance without having to pay for the services of NPCs such as barbers.

Campfire - Simple Wasteland Camping

Adds a touch of realism to Fallout 4 by allowing players to build temporary campsites and camp throughout the Commonwealth. This mod adds items such as tents, sleeping bags, dog beds, camp fires, lanterns, and more.

Realistic Death Physics - No Animation

You know how things in Fallout games tend to just like... fly or crumple like a tin can? This mod helps that not happen as much, specifically to corpses!

Everyone's Best Friend

Let's players have another companion alongside Dogmeat, meaning you can have two companions at once! This mod follows the traditional companion mechanics of the older Fallout games to a degree (re: allowing the player one human and one non-human companion).

Natural & Atmospheric Commonwealth

This, in my opinion, is definitely an essential mod. It's a hefty graphics mod that allows for all sorts of adjustment (e.g., gamma, filter presets, how bright the sun is, how interiors look, etc.).

Water Enhancement Textures

Enhances water textures and makes water more transparent and reflective.

Wasteland Creatures Redone - Retexture Compilation

Retextures pretty much every creature in the Commonwealth to be more unique and realistic.

Faded Glory - A Post-Apocalyptic Soundscape

This mod adds nearly 100 songs of various genres to the Fallout 4 soundtrack, encompassing old world jazz, rock, and EDM. Enhances the ambience of the game.

KS Hairdos (PC Port)

Adds a variety of unique hairstyles to male and female characters. Like... a lot of hairstyles.

Full Dialog Interface

Replaces the in-game dialog interface with a more traditional one, and allows players to see what each option (e.g., mean, sarcastic, etc.) will actually say.

Armorsmith Extended

This mod adds and overhauls so many aspects around clothing and armor within the game, including but not limited to: Layering outfits and armors, adding ballistic weave to all clothing, adding various types of clothing and armor modifications, adds color swaps and customization options, and more.

Goodfellow's Glorified Goodneighbor

- jk and you vibed so fast that you became close friends very quickly (the chaotic duo that tested hyung line's last nerves when you were in your mischievous mood)

-you sorta became an honorary member of the maknae line and after you pulled a prank on jin that included a chocolate cake, marmite and liquorice and ended up with jin's face shrivelling so bad that it may have caused him his first wrinkles

(his revenge was to serve you kimchi bokkeumbap with kimchi that had gone bad, which resulted in the worst heartburn you ever had ("an eye for a eye, y/n" - you, drinking your 3rd mint tea that night: "fair enough"), you redeemed yourself by buying him hyaluronic acid lotion and his favourite strawberry cheesecake, jk just laughed his ass off to the misery jin and you went through and blackmailed jin with marmite whenever they bickered ("it will hit u when u least expect it, hyung" - "I can't believed I raised lucifer himself"))

-anyway, jk and you are always very playful together, and you laugh so much when you're with him bc of his antics

-he doesn't mind being extra goofy to make you laugh, it lifts his spirits as well

-hates to see you sad/upset, namjoon and jk once spoke about you, after namjoon asked him about your guys' friendship and for the first time in ages he was sure jungkook had deeper feelings for someone, as he said: "I don't mind making a fool out of myself, if it brings a smile on y/n's face. hyung, I know this is going to sound weird but sometimes I feel like it is my purpose to show y/n everything good and funny, this is something I wanna keep doing for a long time." (tbh namjoon teared up)

-your guys' fav pastimes were watching cartoons/animes and you had a fiery competition going on in any kind of jump and run games, especially for sonic (you once beat jk after a 4 hour session and he threw a dramatic fit until you made him hot chocolate and he finally calmed down)

-would show you tons of pics and vids of gureum and filmed every minute of your first encounter

- cannot concentrate for shit when you're watching him during dance practice, so hobi told you, in a nice way, to stay away from dance practice for the sake of bts and jk apologised like 12 times to everyone, he got better at focusing over time and you watched him once in a while... but he'd get v shy when he had to do hip thrusts and stuff, you'd just laugh it off but in reality you were just trying to hide you how much he actually affects you, especially during a choreo like that

-the boys teased him quite a lot about you and he'd get all whiny and say it's not like he had a crush on you or something

- so namjoon took out his phone and showed jk that you updated your story with some food pic where you could see a man's hand in the background, who was also tagged in the pic

-the guys stopped teasing him the second they realized how upset jk actually was (he went completely silent, eyebrows furrowed), yoongi just stated the obvious: "our maknae is in love, huh", the boys smiled and jungkook nodded with a sad look on his face

-the next time you visited the guys jungkook was visibly flustered around you and would be just overwhelmed with the entire situation bc he wanted to know who that guy was, but he didn't know how to ask and neither did he want to intrude and what if you're taking it the wrong way and say that it's none of his business and suddenly he loses his best friend because of some stupid guy in a stupid picture and some stupid hypothetical date.... overthinking at its finest, as you can see...

-you didn't know why he became so awkward around you, the boys obviously knew but they couldn't say anything without risking jungkook completely losing his shit, but jungkook avoided you and left early when you were there and you were like "... why"...well the boys knew why but they couldn't say anything

-you tried talking to him but he tried to avoid you since he got so flustered around you that he'd stuttering, get embarrassed about it and then leave...

-you asked the boys about it, but they wouldn't say anything but tbh this was almost painful to watch for them bc they love their maknae but they knew this wasn't going anywhere.... so their eldest took the matter into his own hands and talked to you and asked you about the guy in your story.....

-shortly after that, the guys went to europe for vacation. jungkooks airport look was something for the goth look book once again, while the other guys looked bright and ready for their time off, and jin was like "oh here we go again" and once again jk helped out...

- the boys knew he kept himself busy the entire time after things got awkward with you, but they didn't exactly know what he was doing in his studio, only taehyung knew he was editing something

-so the boys were enjoying their time off and even got jungkook's mind off of you with some sightseeing and other leisure activities they had planned

-but at the end of the day, he thought of you and read your last messages over and over again. the last time you had texted was when you wished him a good time in europe and he thanked you. he sighed as he realized how your long texts with each other had turned into such short ones within 1 week

- yoongi: i cannot take this anymore, we need to do something about this

jin: i did. i invited y/n to join us.

the boys: ???

jin: all expenses on the company.

the boys: ?????????

-also, this was the first time you guys were separated, and it gave him the chance think about what he truly wants for you two, friendship or more.. he decided to confide in namjoon and jin about it and seek advice

namjoon: i'm sure y/n likes you too, and even if not, which I really doubt, at least you'll get it sorted out that way and carry on

jk: hyung, see that's the thing. if my feelings will not be reciprocated, i won't be able to continue a friendship... that's why I am so scared.

jin: y/n's coming here, tomorrow, jk, only for you, so i'm pretty sure your feelings will be reciprocated. just be honest about them.

jk: what do you mean y/n's gonna be here tomorrow?

jin: exactly that.

jk: with all due respect, hyung-nim, what the fuck

(-namjoon cackling in the background-)

-so jin explained how he asked you about joining them bc jk was so down and reassured jk that he didn't tell you anything about his feelings and that you solely come there bc you also had 2 weeks off and you wanted to spend time with him, even though jin had some convincing to do since you thought it might be awkward between jk and you

- jin: also, the supposed date on her story? that was just a night out among co-workers, so it was definitely not a date, I asked y/n about it

jk: ....... why didn't you tell me sooner? why are you telling me that a week later, when I'm in another country??

jin: remember the time you put actual fish oil in my bungeoppang?

jk:

jin: see, you did this and I'm still arranging you a romantic getaway, like the merciful god i am

jk: oh my god

jin: exactly

-jk texted you the same night and asked you where you are and said that jin told him everything. "maybe I should let the food war continue after all..", you thought and rolled your eyes. you sent jungkook a pic from the view you had from your hotel room, where you arrived a few hours prior, and he could clearly recognize that you were indeed there, as unbelievable as it was for him.

you: I can't believe jin ruined the surprise

jk: trust me, it still was a huge surprise for me

you: a good one, I hope?

jk: definitely... you know, i actually wanted to text you.

you: about the past week, i suppose?

jk: kinda. i'm going to send you something. it was done rather quickly, so have some mercy on me with that.. and please don't be mad at me

you: ok..? you're kind of worrying me here

jk: and y/n.. i won't say anything about it, it should speak for itself.. and please don't say anything about it until I see you tomorrow, ok?

you: alright..

jk: I'll see you at the café jin hyung told me about, depending on the answer you're gonna give me

you: I'll be there, no matter what

jk: ok, then, yellow shirt in case you're answer is positive, black shirt in any other case, how about that?

you: fine by me koo ☺️

-what he sent you was a gcf with your name as the title and what followed was a beautiful compilation of your favourite moments you and jungkook had shared, and some moments you weren't even aware of the fact that he was filming you..some scenes, for example: your guys' trip to lotte world, you giggling into the camera when turned the cam to both of you wearing bunny ears, you laughing your ass off while filming him dancing to cl's "hello bitches", you on the day you went to the planetarium together, the time you came over to his place with food after he was too exhausted to do anything after practice and you watched "spirited away" together, then you playing with gureum while he giggles behind the camera, you being bts' no 1 hype man during their concert preparations, some videos where you cheered for him during the days you two spent apart bc of award shows.... and at the end of the video there was a single picture of you two, where you smiled widely into the camera, while he looked at you with a shy smile on his face... and finally, you heard his voice saying the words which appeared on screen: "be my loved one".

- the next day, jungkook was waiting for you in the café opposite the church, where you would come to as well. he was nervous as hell and honestly he still wasn't sure if you're actually going to come there or if jin played a prank on him. he checked his texts again and again and just stared at the "read" sign beneath the text and the video he sent you and mentally slapped himself for telling you to keep your answer to yourself until you meet him in the café. he started overthinking again, to a point where he zoned out so much that he didn't even notice 6 guys with huge sunglasses and a suspicious lot of newspapers, sitting at another table what finally made him snap back into reality was the sound of someone pulling the chair at his table, which instantly made him turn around only to see you sitting down next to him, right at the moment when the bells started ringing. undoubtedly, the colour yellow has never made jungkook happier.

Like every day, Angel woke up to an alarm at noon. And, like every day, he considered sleeping in. But he'd established that his Instagram stories started updating at 12:30, and he refused to break that routine.

He dragged himself out of bed and over to the kitchen. He was in a bulking phase, which meant that at least he got to eat a lot of calories, but even then he had to check the notebook he kept next to the fridge to make sure he was hitting his macros. Breakfast wound up being oats made with peanut butter, greek yogurt, and protein powder. It was ugly to look at and nearly as bland, since there was no sugar to liven up the flavors. That was the sacrifice that he had to make for the sake of his physique - giving up basically everything that tasted good and living on a diet of peanut butter, chicken, and brown rice.

After he finished choking down his breakfast, he had to take a minute to search his apartment for his wireless earbuds. He popped them in his ears, grabbed his phone, perched himself on the window sill, and proceeded to take a dozen selfies, all with slight variations, until he got the perfect one of himself turned just slightly towards the window, his earbuds clearly showing, the street outside visible but artistically blurry. It took him a few more minutes in Facetune to edit out the puffiness under his eyes and a blemish that was forming on his chin, not to mention lighten his skin and up the saturation of the blue dye in his hair. He needed a dye touch-up, but no one on Instagram needed to know that.

It took him a few more minutes to craft his story post, carefully weighing the benefits of a filter that gave him dog ears and deciding how many emojis he wanted to use.

Then of course there was the matter of what to say in the story. His first post of every day was a 'song of the day' post. It took him a minute to think of what song to use. Ultimately, he wound up writing: 'Listening to Bad Guy today! Love Billie Eilish!' and then took another minute to choose the exact font style, color, and positioning.

He hadn't actually been listening to Billie Eilish. He liked her music, sure, but lately he had been on a nostalgic kick, listening to nu metal. But it wasn't #relatable to post about listening to Coal Chamber. How many people even remembered that the band existed? Certainly none of the e-boys that followed Angel's account.

No, Angel's brand didn't work with a maligned, forgotten genre from the late 90s. He'd made a name for himself as goth-lite. Not really goth, but not an e-boy either. Rather, he was just a touch edgy, but still firmly in the mainstream gay community.

All the more reason to keep Bacchus to himself. It was totally against his brand to go to shows with mosh pits.

'Tell me what song you wanna see me pole dance to!' He added to the post, making a comment field for people to respond. Within seconds, answers started to pour in, mostly Top 40 sex jams.

He spent a little longer scrolling through Instagram, commenting on videos from other dancers. Every comment was upbeat and encouraging, even if he thought their dancing was a bit shit. There was no room to be critical on social media. He had to treat everyone as if they were his best friend, even if he didn't know them. He was still building his following, and any drama could ruin that.

His DMs were full, as usual. Most of them were thirst-DMs, a couple were shady sounding guys offering to be his manager. Nothing interesting enough to respond to.

A notification popped up at the top of his screen from Grindr. He automatically tapped it to go to the app, only to be greeted with a blurry dick pic. He wasn't against dick pics, but they had to have a bit of effort put into them. This one was just lazy. The guy didn't even look like he was hard.

He tapped the back button to look at the rest of his messages. A lot were dick pics. Some were asking for a hookup. One was a message from a guy he'd hooked up with a few days ago, saying that he had a nice time and asking if he wanted to get together again.

The guy had been alright. A nice enough bodybuilder who had been surprisingly gentle and considerate during sex. But his personality had been as bland as the meal-prepped chicken sitting in Angel's fridge. Angel knew he could do better. But it never hurt to have the guy on-call as backup if he felt the need to get laid right away, so he snapped a selfie and sent it to him, with a short note that simply said, 'I had fun!'

With that, he'd had enough social media, and it was almost time for his workout, anyways.

Thirty minutes later, he met with his personal trainer. He paid a hefty fine for one of the best trainers in the city, someone he trusted to help him sculpt his physique without making comments about trying plastic surgery. His trainer was cute, nice, and painfully straight, which was something Angel had specifically looked for. He didn't want to be distracted by a guy who may or may not be interested in fucking.

Like always, working out kicked his ass, and like always, he took a sweaty selfie in the locker room mirror with his shirt lifted to show his abs and posted it on his Instagram story.

His day was far from over, though. He had to stop by the smoothie shop and take a photo of his smoothie - milk, whey powder, greens, banana, and peanut butter - and then go out and take photos around town until he found something that made it look like he was doing something interesting that day. He eventually found a corner of a building that had been tagged with a dozen Mothman stickers and snapped a selfie in front of it, captioned it 'Hanging out with my fellow spooky kids!' and posting it to his main Instagram.

And then the boredom set in. He didn't really have anything planned for the day, and he still had plenty of time before he had to go to work. Sure, he could go home and put on some makeup and take artful thirst-trap selfies, but he'd done that so recently. He didn't want to make his Instagram nothing but thirst-traps - he had to make sure he was attractive to multiple types of brands if he ever wanted a sponsorship.

The thing was, trying to be an Instagram star was lonely. He had friends, but they were either work colleagues - and thus rivals - or other micro-influencers. All their conversations were about collabs and SEO and ways to boost engagement. To outsiders he no doubt looked like he lived a lavish and incredibly fun lifestyle as a stripper, but they didn't see the day-to-day boredom or the awkwardness behind running into people who knew him from the club out in broad daylight.

He wanted someone to talk to who wasn't a part of all that bullshit.

Of course, as soon as he had that thought, he realized that he wanted to talk to Demie again.

He wasn't sure if he should. He'd just called him that morning, after all.

It wasn't that he was worried about coming off as desperate, but more that he was worried about scaring Demie off. He was absolutely certain that Demie was gay, but he was also sure that Demie was a country boy, and country gays were different from city gays. Country boys had such an endearing gee-shucks quality about them, like they were trying so hard to be beer-drinkin', truck-drivin' bros, but they were just a little too soft-spoken and shy for that.

Demie - from what Angel could tell - was a guy who wanted to be cool to other men but who was also painfully nervous around them.

It was absolutely adorable, and Angel wanted so badly to get him into bed.

But getting that kind of guy into bed was a challenge. It was like hunting a deer. Move too fast or too loudly, and he'd run off into the woods.

Or so Angel assumed. He'd never actually gone hunting. That was too much a white person thing to do.

Fuck it, he decided. Demie was the first real connection he'd made in a long time. And it wasn't like he was asking for a hookup. He just wanted to talk.

He settled onto a bench where he could still see the Mothman stickers and dialed Demie's number. The phone rang with no answer. No shit, it was a Monday afternoon. People with normal 9 to 5s worked at that time.

Well, at least he could leave a message and give Demie his number. He realized he'd never actually told Demie how to contact him.

Eventually the answering machine picked up. "You've reached Demie and Elaine," Demie's voice said. "If you're trying to sell us something we don't fucking want it. If you're trying to get on our property, we have guns and we're not afraid to fucking use them. Bye."

"Wow, your answering machine is pretty aggro," Angel said. "This is Angel, but the way. I realized I didn't give you my number. So, y'know, just in case you want to get in touch…"

He left his number and hung up. He sat staring at the Mothman stickers a little longer. He kind of wanted to send a picture of them to Demie, since Demie in a way reminded him of a cryptid - shy and kind of elusive. But of course, he couldn't, since Demie didn't have a cellphone. Still, he took a non-selfie picture of them anyways. Just in case he got to hang out with Demie sometime.
