"So if you felt betrayed that I dare to call this procedure by the same watered-down language as our own laws, but then breathed a sigh of relief as you found out it was just a tumor and not an embryo: You need to confront the fact that you don't value my life, you don't value the living.
You only value an organ and its ability to produce children, not the actual living breathing person who for some reason has to beg for the right to their life, their liberty, and their happiness.
That's what this is all about." (cited @illymation’s video 13:24 min. - 13:56)

Dear fanfic writers. I love you, I love you, I love you, you amazing humans that pour so much into every word.
But look, we gotta have a talk about smut. Specifically, things that are actually possible. More specifically, when it comes to penetrating the vagina… because I’m really worried about some of y’all and your very concerning lack of knowledge when it comes to the vagina and the connected reproductive anatomy.
So listen.
You cannot penetrate the cervix during sex!!!
There’s no pounding so hard that it goes through the cervix “into the womb” (it’s the uterus). It’s just not possible. The only thing that passes through the cervix (it’s a tiny, tiny hole, folx!) is sperm, or a frickin baby (pregnancy hormones are damn weird and really fuck shit up, it’s the ONLY time the cervix dilates). That’s it.
You can touch the outside of the cervix from inside the vagina. You can stimulate it. Some people like it, some find it uncomfortable and/or painful. Everybody is different.
But please, for the love of all the gods!
Anything actually penetrating the cervix would be cause for extreme medical concern. It’s not sexy. It’s horrifying. And every time I read it I’m torn between laughing hysterically and being absolutely horrified.
Please learn basic anatomy. Your smut will be better for it, I promise.
Here, you can even have a diagram. As a treat.

Penile/ Phalloplasty Erectile Devices
There are two main types of penile implants:
Inflatable Devices
Semi-Rigid Rods Device
We will go over inflatable devices first. There are two mainly used types of inflatable penile implants used in phalloplasty, as well as cis men with health issues.
What are they?
Inflatable devices are the most common type of penile implant used, especially on phalloplasty procedures.
The two types are:
Three- Piece Penile Implant
Tumblr media
Source
Three-piece inflatable implants use a fluid-filled reservoir implanted under the abdominal wall, a pump [in your main hand side] and a release valve placed inside the scrotum [and slightly located above the pumping mechanism], and two inflatable cylinders located on each side of the penis.
To achieve an erection, you pump the fluid, which is salt water (saline fluid), from the reservoir into the cylinders. Afterward, you release the valve inside the scrotum to drain the fluid back into the reservoir. Usually, this is done by holding a small button on the release valve.
In both devices, the reservoir is filled with salt water (saline water) the day of surgery and remains in the device.
This particular system [three-piece] is how I get an erection/ deflate my erection.
Two - Piece Penile Implant
Tumblr media
Source
The two-piece model works similar to the three- piece, but the fluid reservoir is part of the pump implanted in the scrotum. This device is not the most effective at maintaining total flaccidity (it may sometimes look slightly erect). This device has more limitations on types and styles of penetration/sex. Be sure to ask if there are limitations with the device and its particular model that was implanted.
In both devices, the reservoir is filled with salt water (saline water) the day of surgery and remains in the device.
The last commonly used erectile device is called:
Semi-Rigid Rod Penile Implant
Tumblr media
Source
Semirigid rod devices styles are always firm. The penis can be bent away from the body for sexual activity and toward the body for concealment. There is no inflating or deflating.
A "positionable penile implant" is a semirigid device with a central series of segments that are held together with a spring on each end. It can maintain upward and downward positions better than other semirigid rods can.
What is best for you? Comparison Images:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Source
Most clinics have their own style of procedure that involves a certain type of erectile device. You may or may not have a choice with certain clinics, so make sure you research clinics and make sure they fit with your chosen device and procedure.
This article was written about just implantation of these devices in general, the different devices, and their functions. If you are interested in sexual intercourse, especially penetration, consider where you want to penetrate.
For example, some men are not able to perform anal sex with the two-piece option, while some men are able. Always ask your doctor before leaving the clinic about the sexual acts you can/ cannot perform. You can seriously injure yourself if you try something your device is not capable of.
I hope you enjoyed the article and know a little bit more about the selection of erectile devices for phalloplasty. I hope this helps you make an informed decision.
Stay Golden Everyone ✌️ 💙 💜

General Notes on Resistance Training Form
The most important thing to remember about "good form" is that you should not be in pain. Soreness is different, but sharp pain is never right. If you're not sure, always err on the side of stopping if you're experiencing discomfort.
Everyone's body is a little different, and you might find the standard coaching notes for a particular exercise just don't feel right to you.
So focus on the broad strokes:
No sharp pain or significant discomfort
Let your body make straight lines i.e.
-- Keep your back flat back- don't round it out by leaning back or hunching forward --Keep your joints in line with each other- shoulders over hips, knees over your ankles etc. don't lean out to the sides.
--Keep your shoulders away from your ears. This feels like you're trying to "pinch" something between your shoulder blades
Your muscles should be doing the work, really squeeze whichever muscles you're working with
-- Think about which body parts you're actually moving (like are you raising your arm for a shoulder press or squatting down for a box squat) make sure you're really squeezing the parts that are moving
-- Think about your stabilizing muscles. They're what's keeping you from tilting so you can maintain those straight lines. Make sure your core is engaged
--To engage your core and other stabilizers: ++Squeeze your glutes and your quads (your butt and your thighs)
++Squeeze your tummy like you're trying to move your belly button in and down. No matter what exercise we're doing, we need our stabilizers engaged. They protect us while we're doing work.
Inhale while you're at rest, exhale while you're doing work. Do not hold your breath. --So this might look like inhaling on the downward half of a squat and exhaling on the upward half.
--Or it might look like inhaling before you begin to move, exhaling on the downward half, inhaling again at the bottom, then exhaling again as you move back up.
Again these are just broad strokes for beginners trying stuff out for the first time. Yes you can get very technical with form, but for basic exercises, these are just good general rules to keep in mind.

Historical People:  Red Baron
Tumblr media
The Red Baron, Manfred von Richthofen, was a famous ace pilot during WW1 who fought in the air force of the German Empire. Despite Richthofen fighting for the offensive military he is hailed a war hero, and good man to this day.
Manfred von Richthofen was born in Prussia, which was once it’s own nation, but then a unified part of the German Empire. Now a days this territory of land is in modern day Poland. He born into an aristocratic family making him a Freiherr which more loosely translates to what we would call a baron.
In his early life Richthofen showed a lot of talent in many different activities. This included hunting, horse back riding, school, and gymnastics. He’d enter military school at the age of 11.
Richtofen would write, and like a lot. He already wrote one of his own autobiographies before his death in war. In it he writes about his childhood disappointment about becoming a cadet in military school, stating that his father “wished it” of him.
Tumblr media
Richthofen was a fan of risky tricks. Most notably in his autobiography he wrote that a friend and him climbed the steeple of Wahlstatt using the lightning conductor. He had tied his handkerchief at the top, and was delighted to see 10 years later with his brother, it still flittering in the wind.
WW1 began, being known at the time as the great war, and the worst war that man had ever seen. It took the world by storm, and especially Europe. Millions of young of men, no matter how they felt, were forced to the front lines on all sides. That included the German Empire, who is credited as one of the major aggressors in the war.
Richthofen served on both western and eastern fronts as a cavalry reconnaissance officer. Trench warfare had made cavalry units mostly useless, so he’d find his regiment turned into dispatch runners and telephone field operators. This upset him greatly.
The baron became incredibly interested in the German Air Force after getting to behold one of their planes himself. He decided to transfer and apply to become part of the Imperial German Air Service. It’s reported that he wrote, “I have not gone to war in order to collect cheese and eggs.”. His transfer was granted.
Tumblr media
His first time ever riding in a plane changed Richthofen’s life for both better and eventually worse. The feeling of being above the world in the flying machine, even as a passenger, was thrilling and breathtaking. Although very nervous to fly on his own, his first ever time as a pilot during training proved to himself that this was where he was meant to be. His own flying mentor, Boelcke would collide accidentally with another plane in battle and die.
Richthofen’s first ever confirmed kill happened to his rival, and British ace, Lanoe Hawker. Richthofen referred to Lanoe as the British Boelcke. This fight would cause Richthofen to begin searching for faster planes that suited his own flying style. From then on his victories skyrocketed. By the end of the war he would be credited with downing 80 planes. The most he ever took out in one day was 22.
Richthofen became the Red Baron, and his crew the flying circus, after he had added a red painting motif to the planes he flew. Most notably the Fokker Dr I. He went by many variations of the name Red Baron, including Der rote Kampflieeger, Le Petite Rouge, and Red Pilot. He became a commander of his own flight crew. His crew became known as the flying circus when they all followed in his footsteps painting their own planes a various amount of bright colors.
Tumblr media
Richthofen became a propagandist for the Imperial German Military, a symbol of moral, and eventually part of the cult that was hero-worship during the world wars. However in his own writings and recorded behaviors, the war was certaintly something he didn’t enjoy or endorse.
During the war his autobiography was published with heavy signs of temperament and censorship. Lines were often added to make him seem even more blood thirsty and pro-war than he actually was. English translations did the opposite as well, adding lines making him even more remorseful for the war. However he truly did show signs of both, more so a transition over time, from young war hero to equally young regretful soldier.
He even began to hate his own book before his death, stating that he’s changed. There was nothing he could do though, he was now a legend among both sides. Special rewards and calls to bring him down from Allied forces were spread around British and French Air Forces. It didn’t help that he himself shared a strong sense of honor towards his fellow pilots, calling the Englishmen his friends.
He even would even speak to two that he downed without killing. He found the situation comical as he had to land due to last minute engine problem. He said they landed perfectly despite being on fire, while he ended up in the barbwire of his own trenches and flipped his plane. The honor was shared among the Englishmen and other Allied pilots in return.
Tumblr media
Richthofen was obsessed with downings. Originally he had a jeweler make him a silver cup per each person, which he would decorate his dashboard with. But the jeweler started to say no due a shortage of silver. After that the Red Baron would track down his downed opponents and pluck a souvenir from their plane. One his most notable being a plane engine he had turned into a chandelier.
The soldier would have a major head injury which changed a lot about him in the war, most notably making flight very migraine inducing and difficult to focus on doing. The war itself was also taking a great toll on him, especially in both his physical and mental health. Other sighted his face as becoming sunken. His family noted he was growing very no-nonsense and quiet. He himself wrote of his growing hatred to the war.
His mother mother had a diary of her own in which she wrote about her son. She wrote, “I think he has seen death too often.”. One evening while he showed her pictures from his time in Russia, she began asking about the other men in the photo. She wrote he became harsh with her, stating that all where dead except him. She knew to stop asking. She wrote that his final visit with her before his death was like talking to a ghost.
Other of his revealed writings, including a diary unveiled that he began to hate himself truly. He wrote about depression, wanting to lock himself up in a room and never seeing another person ever again, about debating his future death. He talked frequently about how awful he felt after every battle now. There was no longer pride in his flight, the deaths began to weigh on him, and his head was truly hurting.
Tumblr media
All of this lead to Richthofen’s death at age 25 in the war. Although being chased down by planes the Red Baron wasn’t knocked out of the sky by them, but AA instead, or at least that was most probably. There are several candidates about who dealt the killing blow, but no one truly knows for sure. Wilfred May was the pilot chasing after him that day, or really the Red Baron pursuing him. Arthur Brown, Cedric Popkin, and W.J. Evans were the AA on the ground that day trying to protect May. There are other variations of who killed him though, including pilots in the air.
Brown is overall credited with the kill, but to be honest as much the Englishmen wanted him dead, they were still disappointed to see him actually so. Richthofen had been shoot through the side, the .303 exited his chest, killing him within minutes. Richthofen managed to land his plane although very roughly, breaking his nose, fracturing his jaw, and beating up his face. Englishmen rushed to his plane to hear his apparent final words, “Kaput.”
There is still an air of mystery to his death has that following week, and especially that day Richthofen was flying out of character. The ground men reported him being unusually low and flying recklessly, going much farther into friendly air space than stratigically okay. This all even goes against his own words where he advocated for tactics and smoothness.
Tumblr media
Richthofen is thought to have been suffering from CSR (Cumulative Combat Stres), and he wasn’t the only ace pilot at the time to have this problem. He also was suffering from his head trauma awfully, and was likely experiencing target fixation. Some even speculate, especially due to his writing and tone, he may have wanted to be shot down that day. He was noted to be flying extremely fast on top of everything.
Major David Blake organised Richthofen’s military funeral when the Allied forces found him. They could do nothing to stop souvenir scavengers from tearing the Red Baron’s plane apart though. He would have a few more funerals as his body was moved back home, and when he was held as a war hero. He received many awards. His grave is now in Südfriedhof in Wiesbaden.
The Red Baron became a pop culture icon among both sides, becoming the face of Ace pilots. Like most pilots or snipers his kill count and victories were questioned. This time however it’s more likely all his victories were true and that he more so had more unconfirmed kills under his belt.

Not all photo scanners are created equal!
I bought a slide from 1971 today and was curious which machine of mine would do the best job of bringing it back to life. So I turned on all four, set them to scan at 1200dpi, and turned off all image enhancements...
Tumblr media
The Wolverine F2D Mighty just takes a picture of the image. And if you've ever taken a photograph of a photograph, you know that it loses a bunch of quality. Other than RGB levels and contrast there's nothing that can be changed, including image resolution.
Tumblr media
The PIC PrimeFilm 3650 does pretty good work for a quick-and-dirty scanner. Like with all scanners the image colors require some tweaking but this one seems the least in need of tweaking, which is sort of a benefit since the CyberViewX software pretty much has on/off for dust removal and no quick provisions for fixing colors. What it gains in simplicity and clarity it lacks in vividness, but a minute in IrfanView to bump up some levels would help... okay, so would rescanning with ICE on before that because the image is a bit grainy and the guy in white has a hair across his shoulder.
Tumblr media
The Nikon Super Coolscan 5000 ED with no tweaks in the Nikon Scan software comes out sharp but the colors reflect what the slide looks like. We'll try it with the tools on in just a minute, I have one more scanner to go...
Tumblr media
The Epson Perfection 4490 Photo also sees the slide as it exists, but in comparison with the other three, for some reason Epson Scan is stretching the image vertically -- it's obvious when flipping back and forth between this image and the other scans that people's faces are a few pixels longer and a bit blurred. Maybe it was just my scan and another try would come out better, but you don't get a second chance at a first impression (said the shampoo ad).
I'll spare you the visuals on the tools-on scans: Nikon with Kodak ROC at 5 and regular ICE, Epson with light ICE followed by using IrfanView to run it through Kodak ROC since the tools aren't built into it, and doing the scanning through VueScan on both of these scanners with auto color, restore color, restore fading, and light infrared toggled on. VueScan just couldn't get the colors back to new, just bumped up to where they weren't quite as washed out, though fiddling with the RBG levels at least reduced the blue, green, and yellow overtones the old slide's decay had introduced.
And the winner for being as close a repair as possible:
Tumblr media
Nikon's scanner and software with the built-in tweaks, which don't show them on-the-fly like using VueScan so you have to scan and see whether you got the levels right, but it spit this out and a moment in IrfanView to slightly adjust contrast to make it less bright was all it took for me to be able to frame this as though I knew these hombres.

hi there! I saw you were asking about the term "aplatonic", it means someone who experiences little to no platonic attraction, think of it like aromantic or asexual, but for platonic!
much like aro and ace,it exists in a spectrum,so there's labels like greyplatonic,demi- cupio- and all of that.
there's multiple reasons why someone would identify as aplatonic, for example,I use the label because,no matter how nice someone is or for how long I've known them, calling someone my friend almost never feels completely right (with only a single exception) and while I care for a lot of people, I just never felt like the word friendship described my feelings for them properly.
(sorry if this is a bit long lol)
Thank you for the explanation (and no worries about the length)! I'm just going to leave this here for other people that might also want to educate themselves on the topic!
I also found this explanation very helpful along the way, but if it's inaccurate, please let me know 💌

What Is Executive Dysfunction?:
I’m writing this as I have one of the worst executive dysfunction episodes of my life- but I’ve barely enough to get by, thankfully. This is probably going to become a partially ‘ADHD and neurodivergent discussion blog based off of my own experiences dealing with my condition’ because, hey, who can blame me? I’m going into Junior Year of High School, which is exclusively neurotypical and allocishet friendly.
And I’m scared. As hell. And I NEED somewhere to dump my thoughts, so I can FINALLY talk to my school counselor and teachers, and try my damned best to advocate for myself after FINALLY being able to somewhat articulate my condition and slap a label on the suffering that has literally ruined my life at certain points and alienated me from my peers and elders for SO. LONG.
Living in a primarily conservative and traditionalist Indian community that is heavily and tragically uneducated on neurodivergency and having literally everyone around me dismiss my condition as ‘being lazy or unfocused’ is already hard enough as it is. Asian customs of ‘saving face’ ‘honor’ and ‘filial piety’ apply to my region in addition to internalized ableism, humility and queerphobia, and the ‘clan/family’ from which my family is descended from, and though it is common throughout ALL of India and other asian countries, I find it to be more common in South Asia, a coincidentally VERY educationally competitive country and VERY unhealthy environment for even neurotypical students. Everything you do there is literally a test of intelligence, as well as executive function and abled-ness.
Therefore, in my family, school and community, literally all symptoms of neurodivergency are overlooked and dismissed as ‘being lazy and distracted’. And it is mostly because of this that I know not of whether my cousins, parents or other relatives are neurodivergent.
DISCLAIMER, THOUGH: Neurotypical people can also have executive functioning issues from time to time in their daily life, too! It is just that for me, as well as others out there with ADHD, it is frequent and exacerbated by our differing brain structures: it is progress-hindering and literally ruins your life at some points in your life (*cough* middle school for me *cough*).
So, you’ve read the title- what is Executive Dysfunction? Well, to understand that, one must understand executive function and the purpose it serves in functional, typical human beings.
Executive functions are primarily a set of inherent mental skills and cognitive functions present in a typical, average human being (take a healthy human adult as a control group). The eight primary skills present in a human being with working Executive functions are:
Impulse Control, the ability to stop and think before acting (not related to risk assessment in my case).
Self-Monitoring, the ability to view and evaluate oneself (I don’t truly have trouble with this sometimes due to my high self-awareness, yet that is only on VERY few levels).
Emotional Control, the ability to manage emotions to achieve goals and complete tasks (still have EXTREME trouble with this).
Flexibility, the ability to adapt to changing conditions by revising plans or changing strategies (doesn’t come naturally to me due to my shit memory).
Task Initiation, the ability to start and finish tasks without procrastinating upon said tasks (MAJOR problem there, darling- broken dopamine receptors paired with a lack of this has literally RUINED my life on MULTIPLE occasions).
Organization, the ability to develop and use systems to keep track of materials and information (do you wish for an administrative role if you have no problem with this? Then do so).
Working Memory, the ability to use information held in memory to complete a task (NOT to be confused with pattern recognition/sensitivity or conceptual learning from past experience- at least in my case).
Planning and Time Management, the ability to create specific steps to reach a goal (my parents ALWAYS scold me on ‘not planning properly’ all the damn time. This specific function is not impaired, its just that I do things differently in an unorthodox method and order- ‘my way’ if you will).
These functions are all subsumed and regulated by an essential anterior section of the brain known as the frontal lobe. It is through the existence of Executive Functions that the frontal lobe regulates human activities such as consciousness, memory, decision-making, memory, attention, among other roles.
Sound familiar to anyone afflicted with ADHD? It should. What the frontal lobe regulates are the things we struggle with every day: one of the prominent symptoms is our executive function being severely and horribly impaired. Executive Dysfunction, while also showing up in people afflicted with depression, dementia and traumatic brain injuries, primarily shows up in people with Autism or ADHD.
It’s why we feel so goddamn exhausted and burnt out all the time despite having done nothing. It’s why we place something down- the next moment, it’s inexplicably gone from existence and we lose it forever. It’s why what are simple, easy tasks to neurotypicals are actually so hard for neurodivergents. It’s why, even with all the time in the world, we still feel as though there’s not enough because no matter how hard we try, we cannot will ourselves to do things that neurotypical people can patiently slog through so easily.
It’s why we react faster than we think. It’s why we’re depressed when understimulated and harrowingly anxious when overstimulated- again, broken dopamine receptors; we need tasks and activities that kickstart the production of dopamine. It’s why we can’t process unclear instructions or initiate tasks ourselves, or even pinpoint consequences that should happen instead of a whole pile of possible things that could go wrong.
It’s also why we either have trouble creating routines and planning for difficult busywork, or even feel devastated when our routines somehow are broken by external factors. It’s why we have trouble being aware of social cues or evaluating ourselves. It’s one of the many, many, MANY reasons why we’re called ‘lazy’ or ‘distracted’ or ‘oversensitive’.
It’s why we have to mentally rehearse conversations, meetings and phone calls. It’s why we’re more susceptible to trauma, gaslighting, abuse and manipulation. It’s why adults with ADHD are invalidated and infantilized. It’s why it escalates to the point, if gone untreated, where neurodivergents begin to question their judgement and sanity to the point where they can’t even trust themselves (speaking from past experiences here).
Not having what should be a basic skill and right is damning and pathetic and eternally condemning for us, and neurotypicals with intact executive functioning don’t even realize it.
I searched a long time for the proper term to describe my near-constant exhaustion, struggles with object impermanence and the sheer mental exhaustion that came with ADHD upon trying to live up to neurotypical standards every day before I found this term. Was it depression? Anxiety? Maybe another obscure mental condition I hadn’t heard about?
Turns out depression and anxiety were offshoots of my initial untreated condition, although they have significantly calmed down and became only mild as of now (thanks to masking, some therapy sessions and scolding from my parents that medicine was expensive and that I was ‘living my life wrong’).
So, reminder: If you are experiencing Executive Dysfunction, or if you have ADHD or are neurodivergent in any way… hang in there. Like all things good and bad, this too shall eventually pass, even if not fully. Even with your condition, you’re doing your best, and no one has the right to hold you to neurotypical standards or tell you that you’re just ‘lazy’ or ‘scatterbrained’.
You’re doing spectacularly, the best that you can, and I’m SO proud of you.
Walk this world with that same pride, alright? There will always be someone out there who believes in you, and I choose to be that person.

IDK why but my dyshidrotic eczema has been nuts lately. I didn't bring my eczema lotion and I never got a script for eczema treatment 💀
Pic under cut if you're curious what dyshidrotic eczema aka pompholox can look like. Be warned there's a little bit of blood and open sores and pus.
This is after the bubbles were opened by excessive itching.

Here’s the thing that some people don’t seem to understand about sex & kink. You have to respect boundaries before you get to push them. You have to show people they’re safe before you get to make them feel scared. You have to respect people before you get to degrade them. You have to be normal with people before you get to be dirty with them. You can’t be skipping steps. Treating them like a person always comes before treating them like a toy.

How to Learn Skills Faster | Huberman Lab Podcast
This episode I discuss the science and practice of learning physical skills: what it involves at a biological level, and what to focus on during skill learning at each stage to maximize learning speed and depth. I also describe what to do immediately after a training session (note: this is different than the optimal protocol for cognitive skill training) and as you progress to more advanced levels of performance. I also cover the science of skill-based visualization which does have benefits, but only if done correctly and at the correct times. I discuss auto-replay of skill learning in the brain during sleep and the value of adding in post-training ‘deliberately idle’ sessions. I cover how to immediately improve limb-range-of-motion by leveraging cerebellum function, error generation, optimal repetition numbers for learning and more. As always, scientific mechanism, peer-reviewed studies and science-based protocols are discussed.
