things do not need to be perfect to be good. You cannot teach someone intersectionality if that person has not heard of bare minimum feminism. You might be on step 100 but just because you started earlier does not mean that everyone can jump to your level. They have to climb the stairs too. And the people at the top yelling down to the people at the bottom that being at the bottom is bad, they need to be at the top, IT DOES NOT ENCOURAGE THEM TO CLIMB UP.

So I have a student who told me that her friend (who is 15 I think) has a trans woman for a teacher and this trans woman is calling the male students by female names against their will. This is because since she used to be a man and transitioned to female she wants to project that onto her male students even though they have vocally said they don't want this and it makes them uncomfortable. If bills like HB 1557 went all the way up to high school this is the kind of perverted behavior it would prevent. If it's happening in one class it's happening in more of them.

Pull your kids out of school and homeschool them.

I feel like I made a mistake in my choice of degree (business) and have no desire to work in anything related it. I think I would like to study cognitive science or neuroscience, but I don’t know if going back would be a bigger mistake.
