Since I saw the “Piglins use Warriors Names” I elect that Endermen don’t have names via Gargoyles. They call one another “friend,” “ally,” “family,” or whatever close terms they may have.

Cue the “well what do you call eachother?” “Friend :)”

Now how do some Endermen get names? Well if they’re close enough to a Piglin, Testificate (Villagers/Illagers/Witches), or Player they may get a nickname from them. And if their bond is super close, the Enderman might just go “mine now” about the Nickname. Such is the case of Edward named by Techno, Shy by Niki, Cleopatra by Foolish, Oobnar and etc.

c!Ranboo is an outlier because he is half-Enderman, so presumably his other non-Enderman parent named him.

Hi! You seem like the person to know this, but what are all the pets Techno ever owned on the dsmp specifically? Also, is there a number for how many dogs were tamed for Doomsday? ty :)

i don't have an exact count for the number of dogs in the hound army but i know that around and on doomsday there were about 180! there could've been more that got left behind in the tunnels since it was so difficult to unsit them all but i'm pretty dang sure that 180 is a close number <- definitely gave up more than once

as for other pets:

carl: fourth fastest horse and the best

steve: emotional support polar bear

blitz: white fox. he has a sword. :)

edward: enderman

andrew: technically the fastest horse

moon: a jerk skeleton with a jack'o lantern head

hubert: a zombie piglin with a jack'o lantern head (he got both of them during the spooky stream!)

toby: a turtle from the turtle stream

baba: polar bear

How do you think Techno would have reacted to a child Enderman hybrid Ranboo if he found him?

Probably wildly dependent on context. I'm assuming we're talking DSMP and not some kind of AU though even then it's going to depend on what 'era' of DSMP we're talking about here. Techno isn't the kind of person to harm random mobs (or kids) for no reason despite what the fandom sometimes portrays but I also don't know if he'd take Ranboo in. Maybe if he thinks Ranboo is a pet like Edward LMAO but if it's a full-on child I think Techno would just pawn him off on Phil or somebody else because he doesn't want to deal with it, as much as I love dadnoblade. Unless there's like, some kind of Reason (tm) he has to keep Ranboo and then gets attached-

🟢 despite jjba showing up a lot in submissions, duo dynamics were inconsistent. a bunch of characters were only submitted once. i tried to get jojo rep in there by putting the most submitted duo in the prelims but it ultimately didn't work im sorry 😭

🟣 i was surprised by the lack of killua and gon submissions, i guess bc killua might be more blue-coded. i mean they're still in there but they're placed lower than i expected at #22

C!Technoblade was the chaotic neutral Hagrid of the SMP.

Chaotic neutral because... Did you watch anything with him in it?

Hagrid because Steve the Polar Bear and Edward the Enderman and the Hound Army. Man had so many dangerous critters just chilling at his cabin.

Headcannon that they just... Gravitate toward him, like some kind of twisted Disney Princess. And it didn't just start with the DSMP either. No, he's always been like this. He'd go for a walk and come home with a giant spider or a skeleton or a bear and just be like 'it followed me home. Can I keep it?' And Phil would sigh and tell him no. There was a time a *freaking Warden* followed him home and Philza nearly went for a visit with Kristin. It was named Spooks and made the executive decision to make a home in a nearby cave system. Phil was not pleased.

When he left home, he realized Phil was at least 80% of his impulse control and now that he wasn't around to tell him no, he was spending a good amount of time building houses for his new friends.

He wasn't mad. They were good friends. Better than a lot of people.

Techno didn't know when the enderman's presence became a familiar one, but at this point he didn't care enough to think about it. What matters is that he's here now, and that Techno should be a good host.

The thing is Edward is very tall and the cabin is very small. Sometimes when Techno reaches for the brewing stand or moves toward a chest, he'll brush against him.

Which, was fine for Techno, he didn't mind. Edward on the other hand? Seemed to hate it. He would always teleport elsewhere and come back hours later cold and jumpy.

Techno has tried to be more aware of himself but there's only so much you can do when you're a hulking piglin in a house made for one.

Another thing he's noticed is that Edward seems to gravitate towards the fire. It might be the reason he keeps coming back. Techno has offered blankets and cloaks, but he doesn't seem to like them either.

Maybe he can put something by the fireplace, somewhere Edward can sit so no more accidents happen. He'd need to get nether wood, maybe gather some wool, and actually figure out how to make the damn thing. Well, Techno's in retirement, he's got time on his hands.
