💞 Who's your comfort character?
So I’m not 100% sure what comfort character means, but writing Edythe is definitely so soothing? She’s just on such a different wavelength than everyone else, doing her own thing.

Friday Kiss Tag!
Thanks for the tag @italiangothicwriteblr!!
Rules: Post a kiss between your OCs for Friday. Can be as light as a peck or as intense as a makeout. Can be platonic, romantic, or familial. As long as a kiss occurs, it’s fair game!
Tagging: @marigoldispeculiar @the-void-writes @mr-writes @aohendo @artbyeloquent @avrablake and anyone else who wants to participate!
Here's a little gift for The Unkind Current folks, just before Angharad wakes up, I think you know what I'm talking about (I'll put the taglist under the cut)
“Is this a fairytale, bog woman?” She asked aloud. “Am I supposed to kiss you?” She got no response, and considered it for a moment. Was she? Did she want to wake up this woman, who looked like maybe she was happier than she had ever been? With her luck, this was the swamp witch her mother had always prayed for the return of, and in her quest to lose herself within the swamp, she had accidentally uncovered the exact tools needed to save it. “I suppose I could, if there’s nothing else for me to do here.”
She brushed some of the bog woman’s hair out of her face, gently drawing her fingers across a pronounced cheekbone and then over her lips. This was fine. This was normal. This was a gift from her home, this was forgiveness for turning her back on it for so long. And after all, why not? Why shouldn’t she kiss the not-drowned woman? At the very worst, the woman wouldn’t wake up, Edythe could confidently say that she was not this woman’s one true love, and she would go on her way, deeper into the swamp, leaving everything she knew behind and becoming one with the waters.
Keeping that thought in mind (and praying the swamp kept that thought in mind too), Edythe leaned in, pressing her lips carefully against the bog witch's.
