"Don't act like you know me.," Atsushi snaps.

"Bold of you to assume I'd want to know you," Akutagawa bites back.

Oda sighs. It's been a month since Atsushi joined the Agency and it's been a process. He's graduated from a feral kitten to an untrained housecat, but the beast within hasn't learned how to keep its claws at bay. It reminds Oda of a boy he found once, ravages by despair and rage, ready to tear anyone and anything apart just for the sake of doing so.

The two claim not to know each other, but they don't realize they are mirror images.

An image flashes across Oda's mind and he sighs again. "Don't."

Both boys freeze, looking over at him. Their powers pulse and hum, pressing against the air in twin threats of destruction.

"Oda--" Akutagawa starts.

A stern look cuts him off.

"That's enough sparring for today. Let's get some curry."

"I'm not coming," Atsushi says.

Oda grabs him by the collar. He isn't so scared of him now, especially since Atsushi has begun to learn to become his own master. "Yes, you are. You both are. And there won't be any fighting."

Oda thinks he once heard, long ago, someone say "only a diamond can polish a diamond." He isn't sure who said it, or when, or why, but he thinks he might finally understand the setniment.

As long as he can keep the diamonds from killing each other.

Do you headcannon South Korea as America’s son? I mean SK is very influenced my the US specially when it comes to entertainment and also there’s that whole thing about the US being almost entirely responsible for the existence of South Korea, but anyways what do u think?

I think this headcanon is a political landmine lol. and perhaps unintentionally, unknowingly disrespectful.

no, I don't consider the US entirely responsible for the existence of S. Korea. please keep in mind that both the North and South claim to be the only legitimate state of Korea, and that the division of the peninsula is partly a result of the USSR occupation in the north and US occupation in the south (and a lot of UN fuckery), and that the Korean War was started by the invasion of the south by the northerners without declaration of war (presumably because declaration of war would legitimize ROK as a state? Idk on that one).

so which of them is the "real" or "original" Korea that existed prior to Japanese occupation is a very sensitive issue that they are technically still at war over. since I don't know more of the details and history of the conflict except that there was extensive US and USSR involvement, I'm not comfortable with the implications of this particular headcanon.

unless the general Korean view actually is that S. Korea exists solely because of the US? Koreans please feel free to chime in on that. until then I'm just gonna respect the official diplomatic position of the ROK.

okay okay okay, look. if a character is old, PLEASE write them like that--PLEASE don’t give them the emotional attitudes and reactions of a 25 year old!!! hhhh idk man, an 80 year old has different thoughts and emotional processing than a 45 year old who has different thoughts and emotional processing than a 20 year old. and it can be really really jarring when someone elderly acts like a 20 year old kid. even when an older person is immature (which definitely happens), they’re still immature in a different way than a teen or 20-something. you know??

I feel like everyone in your team of companions decide you are a leader just because when you land its Shadowheart who fully joins you first (if you don't skip her for some reason) and seems like she is just "listen I have own big problems, be a brain, ok?" and then everyone get along with it
